I live in Brooklyn, Ny, and have a fast-food restaurant right behind my small yard. For a while, I had a real rat problem, and they were getting bold- we'd sometimes see them in broad daylight. Shake Away may not keep all the rats out, but as long as we're not feeding them (we don't leave food garbage outside, and I don't grow vegetables) they're not a bother. Good stuff!

We live in an old house and used to get mice every fall, when the weather started getting cold. But no more! I put a couple tablespoons of Shake Away in an old stocking and scatter the little packets around the house and, presto, no more unwanted visitors. Doesn't bother my dog, either.

Alas, the stuff is completely useless against the evil squirrels who wage war on my garden every year. I think I could hear them laughing at me as I applied it, in the dead of night so they couldn't see.

I applied the Shakeaway and it seemed to work well, however we just came out of 2 snow falls, including a blizzard, a total of about 40". When the snow melts we should see the results of what I put down prior to the snow. I feel confident it will work.

We sprinkle this around our "outbuildings", my 9x12 greenhouse and the crawl-space of our home. It has been quite effective in reducing the number of mice and voles in all areas. My hubby has a total hatred of rodents and this has proven to be the best product I can buy for him every fall. He sprinkles it around the buildings and sleeps well all winter!

I had noticed that mice had invaded my garage. The rabbits were feasting on my Irises while the stray cats were using my daylillies as beds, and my potted plants as litter boxes. There was no way I was going to deal with dead mice or doing anything that could harm these animals, so in desperation, I once again turned to Gardens supply.
I used this product around my house and they stay away. I know when its time to retreat cause I see where they came back.... Thanks for helping me..

We put about 1/4 cup of this product on small plastic dishes and place in cabinets and drawers of our 5th wheel. This has become part of the winterizing routine and we notice that there is very little evidence of the critters (mice) hanging around. They may pass through but evidently don't like the product and leave.
There is very little odor to humans and no smell in the camper.
We've had good success with this product and recommend it to our camping friends.

The rats in my neighborhood wait till virtually the night before my tomatoes are ready for picking before breaking my heart and taking one or two bites out of each fruit. My garden is fenced, so the two or three rat holes tunneled in are easily detected. After literally filling them with this useless product, the rats push right through like children in a sandbox. Get an airgun!!

I have a ground hog living under my shed.I have gardens thru out the property and he has managed to attack everything..........this product did not thwart him in the least.........so save your money if it's ground hogs you want to deter.....it just doesn't work.

I've lived on a farm for 20 years and never had a mouse problem until last year. Tried setting mouse traps and hated the clean up. Then saw this product and was amazed. You just sprinkle it around your house and in my case around my rabbit house and chicken coop and no more mice. And best of all it is safe to use around my other animals.

I have not seen any decrease in the amount of holes, tunnels but then I am so over whelmed with them (moles, voles, etc.) that this is probably not a good assessment of your product. If I were to put this in each tunnel at the distance suggested, I would probably need a dump truck load of the product.

I have had rats eating my tomatoes just prior to ripening. I sprinkled the "Shake Away" on my deck railing where the rats were eating. The next morning there were fresh tomato peels and rat droppings ON TOP OF THE SHAKE AWAY SPRINKLES. Obviously, the rats did not mind the Shake Away and simply sat on top of it. I also sprinkled it liberally inside the housing for my hot tub, where the rats were keeping warm. There was no mass exodus. I've had better luck with a live trap and my cat. Too bad; I was hoping for success with this product.

I sprinkled this product around the yard in obvious rat holes and runs. Rats were not deterred. I suggest that, sadly, a more toxic solution is necessary to fend off these critters.

Stays put. Right after my 1st application we starting getting very heavy rains from various passing hurricanes & 2 weeks later when I remembered to do another application, a lot of the 1st application was still visible & hadn't washed away!!

Despite continued application, our gopher population is alive and well and still thriving in our yard. Do not bother with this one -- it sounds good, and we loved the idea of an organic, enviro-friendly non-toxic product, but it simply does not work.

After a month or so of attempting to catch the voles in my flowerbeds, I gave in and tried this product. I was a little skeptical but after reading the many reviews of others saying that it worked I gave it a try. I couldn't believe that the voles were gone within a week. I used the product twice and it worked magic. I am so happy with the product and plan to keep using it every now again to make sure those little rodents stay away!!!

I used this rodent repellent because all my tomatoes are being eaten the minute they ripen. I used the entire container on the first application (by accident) and it did NOTHING. The next day, all my ripe tomatoes had been nibbled away. Frustrating and expensive.

This product did not deliver as advertised. After following the directions and not noticing any rodents I thought to myself this stuff really works. To my horror, my tomato crop is nearly ruined because of rodents. I finally resorted to using poison and rodent traps to solve the problem.

We have had prior problems with vols in our flower beds and scrub gardens, especially those that are heavily mulched. This product is not only safe (using organic ingredients) but after several weeks, appears to be fully effective as well!! We have not seen any signs of vol infestation and are completely satisfied. We were over run by rats and rabbits from the nearby hillside, but this did the trick! Make sure to apply it after rain or heavy watering. DO NOT sprinkle it on the soil by squash or melons as the garlic in it keeps them from growing or producing fruit! Unlike poisons or traps, there are no corpses to get rid of and you don't have to worry about pets and kids. Sprinkle a perimeter, and relax.

Finally solved our rodent problem (attic). The garlic odor didn't last long, but the effectiveness did.

The moles have been making headway into my yard for a few years and I've been trying to keep the away from the vegetable garden. Unfortunately, they made it there this year even though I applied Shake Away to my entire yard. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this product and I'm still looking for something that actually works.
