Star of Bethlehem is a member of the lily family that’s native to the Holy Land, where its six-petaled flowers carpet the fields each spring. We’ve planted 30 bulbs in a decorative, pressed-tin container. The bulbs arrive sprouted and ready to bloom just 2-3 weeks after arrival.

Several bulbs were fine and bloomed well. Others have still not bloomed after many weeks, althought they have leaves. If I count all that came up - there are not the 30 advertised.

This was a gift to a cousin. It looked terrible when I saw it. Not much flowering . Plants had a hard time growing thru' the planting material and pushed it all over the place

The product in the picture was very lovely. In actuality, the bulbs did not bloom in unison as in the picture. The flower stems drooped. The container is attractive. I have not had the time to count to see if the 30 bulbs are actually sprouting. The item is overpriced.

I gave this as a gift to a friend. I followed the directions, but the bulbs started sprouting at different times. Also, there were no directions about what to do with the floral material on top of the container, so I left it there. It seemed to impede the growth of the plants, but by the time I realized it, some had broken through, and it was hard to do anything about it.

I recieved this very early. When I ordered it I requested it arive for a Christmas gift that the reciepient could watch bloom. It arived early so it bloomed for me. I followed the instructions to the T but only about a third of the flowers bloomed. I have purched blooming flower gifts from you before and prior tyo this time have always been totally satified with your products. I'm sorry to write this poor review.

llThe idea was great but the plants grew at an inconsistent rate, some withering before others bloomed.I really couldn't give this item as a gift. Definitely not as pictured. I followed all instructions.

These are fun to watch sprout up...they grow quickly but mine are not nearly as full as described in photos. Lots of tall growth, flowers open quickly; no scent.

This was a present for my daughter in law. As soon as the plant arrived in Maryland she called and whas excited about it. I received progress reports about once a week. The bulbs were in full bloom by Christmas, everybody admires them.

I set this on my desk in my office hoping for a brillant display like the picture. Only 66% of the bulbs have produced flowers. The display is not compact. However, the container it comes with is very attractive and I will be able to use it.

I purchased these as gifts. My neighbor, who can't grow anything, is so happy that she has flowers and she didn't kill them. She said she doesn't have to do anything to them but water occasionally.

There is nothing more lovely than a field of flowers, but if you don't have a field, try to plant in a wind-protected area. In the mornings, some take their time waking up...and by early dusk, the white petals seem to brighten. You'll love them year after year!

This bulb is extremely invasive when planted in the garden. The bulbs multiply rapidly and the wind blows the seeds!
