The snowy white blossoms of 'Ziva' paperwhite narcissus fill an entire room with their heady fragrance. We ship eight bulbs planted in a shiny red cachepot made from grain hulls. Simply place in a sunny spot and water, and you'll be seeing blooms just a few weeks later. The earth-friendly pot is made from grain husks, is re-usable after the flowers have faded, and can be composted after use.

    I use this pot of Paper Whites, which have not bloomed yet, but are showing buds, to compensate for the ache of no longer being physically able to do gardening outdoors. I am a true farmer's daughter and have always loved the land and green things growing and being beautiful, beneficial and even fruitful. Green is truly the color of hope for me, whether hope for greater beauty in flowers or the harvest...or a picture of life everlasting.

    My friend, Norma, gave me the plant for Christmas. I enjoyed every moment of watching the bulbs grow. I took pictures of the blossoms to put on cards for my friends. I ordered the same bulbs for my daughter-in-law. I had the opportunity to go to her house and enjoy them as well. I think the bulbs are a wonderful idea for a gift. I planted the bulbs in my yard after they completely blossomed.

    This was the perfect gift for an elder living in a small apartment during this very cold winter. The plant grew rapidly so she could notice nearly daily changes. The flowers add a bright cheeriness and fragrant aroma to a dreary winter's day.
