Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
The lights give a delicate whimsical look to my fireplace mantel and sofa table. Battery pack was difficult to hide in my door wreath, however.
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
love the versalilty!!!! bought two and the ideas were endless!!! alot of fun to use all year long.
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
The microlights add sparkle just about anywhere. The wiring is unobtrusive and the lights are bright. Perfect for decorating.
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
This product serves itself well to accent and center pieces. The small lites give off a lot of
light in a dim room. Use several around the house
and you create a night similar to a night in the
movie " Avatar."
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
It got a lot of complements from my guests! I used it to decorate a three tiered serving tray.
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
I used these lights in a stair garland and my mantel decorations -- very easy to use and made the decorations look amazing. The bright white lights are spaced along a thin copper wire, with a small battery pack at one end. There is an easily accessed on/off switch. I never had to replace the batteries and the decorations were up for almost a month.
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
We put it on a little Christmas tree and it was perfect for the application.
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
Could find many uses for these little lights. Very convenient and initially very bright. Wish the battery power lasted more hours. Lights also put out more of a blue cast as the batteries wear down. Otherwise great product.
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
would be very convenient for an outdoor wreath, but it takes 2 strings and it's almost impossible to change batteries once they're in place. It does last a long time, dimly, on one set of batteries. Good for a very subtle sparkle.
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
Recently received the amber light set, and wish I'd ordered more than three! Not sure where previous complaints about the size of the battery case are coming from... the set uses 3 AA batts, not C's or D's, so the box is smaller than a deck of cards.
I bought these to use around our Nativity display, and will probably use them elsewhere... perhaps in mason jars on the back porch in the summer.
The tiny amber bulbs (appear more like little 'globs' of plastic or glue, not really bulbs in the classic sense) glow very brightly, and I wish I'd seen these before the red color was sold out. Will definitely look for them again next year.
If 'warm white' is available, that would be a bonus... 'cool white' l.e.d.'s have that bluish tint many of us don't like, but the warm-white color more closely resembles incandescent lights.
With basic careful handling, these should last a few years. As constructed, the 'bulbs' are not replaceable; the copper wire is pretty thin, so avoid creasing or folding or it'll break.
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
Used to make landing pads for toy helicopters. Tried to buy more, but you were out.
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
I bought two sets on sale to add to the artificial garland/roping that I place on the fireplace mantle every year at the holidays. I liked that they were battery powered, so I didn't have to deal with any cords showing to distract from the look. Unfortunately when wrapped around the garland, the lights take on a blue glow versus white. Not what I expected to happen.
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
If the lead from the battery box to the start of the lights was longer, you would have greater options for hiding the battery box. But as my headline says, this is a tiny quibble of a very versatile and handy product. I've used sets to provide "street lighting" for a year-round miniature village display. I've used sets to create an interplay between garlands of frosted twigs and garlands of deep red amaryllis. The most eye-catching use this year was placing a set entwined around the bases of crystal votive holders - you didn't need to light the votives for a flickering/twinkling display.
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
they did the job. and the nativity was illuminated, where there was not a plug,
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
overall pleased with micro lights, wish I would have tried amber color but otherwise happy with purchase
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
We use these little lights on the fireplace mantel as part of our Christmas decoration and they are just perfect for that. They are so easy to install anywhere because of being battery operated and they blend in very nicely.
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
These lights have proven to be FAR BETTER than candles when the power goes off. They provide more light, are safe and last longer! I now keep them strung just for emergencies.
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
These are sweet little lights
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
I used these lights on my wreaths hanging on the doors. No cords and bright!! Also have them on a corner cabinet at the end of a somewhat dark hallway where there is no close outlet. Great for any dark area where there isn't an outlet or light. I love the color also. Will use year round. I bought six and glad I did.

Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
The amber lights are very yellow and the white ones are almost blue. But these are very nice for the price and great to use for centerpieces.
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
We hate power cords which makes this perfect to highlight the garlands on the mantle.
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
Highlights fall decorations on mantle. I like the fact that there are no cords.
The amber color of bulbs has a slightly green tint (chartreuse )but works ok with fall decorations. Won't be able to use for Christmas decorations so I am contemplating buying the white lights for Christmas. They are a little expensive given that the light "life" is only 40 hours.
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
Great as an accent in holiday wreaths and garlands. Only downfall of this product is that the price is a bit high. I saw a similar item in a few stores after I received it that were about half of the clearance price.
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
For display
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
Bought 2 of these to run through a garland and when one was sufficient, took the second and strung it through my collection of Gault pieces (Provencal miniature buildings). It was surprisingly authentic: perfectly to scale and close on to the street and building lights one sees. "Scary" part is that I find it nerve-wracking to shape the wire: I'm afraid that I will break it.
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
Have a mini Christmas tree on a kitchen service island. With no need for connection to remote power outlets, this is a God send and everyone that saw it was pleasantly surprised.
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
added sweet lights to my Rosemary trees for a festive note.

Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
These little lights are so bright! The thin copper wire makes them easy to hide. I will use them year round, not just during the holidays.
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
Great for smaller decorations that require illumination. Never seems to get warm, even after hours and hours of use. Wish the white color was truer to white rather than blue.

Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
I've already returned this product. Would not recommend.
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
These lights were perfect for our tiny Christmas tree. The white lights almost seemed blue; they were beautiful. Got many comments from folks wanting to know where to get them! I'd definitely recommend these lights and will look for other places and times to pull them out.
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
Both the Amber and White are attractive on wreaths where cords would be a problem. A very novel idea, but a bit pricy for 20 tiny lights.
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
I used the little lights, red and amber, on the mantle behind the greens and stockings at Christmas time. Just enough light for what I wanted. Too pricey, however, so won't buy any more.
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
These battery operated little red lights made my holiday decorations pop with charm.
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
Fun battery powered necklace for parties

Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
These lights are great--for mantles, and other small places where you don't want to see the string from the lights. I wanted to order more, but they were sold out.
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
Loved the lights - you could put them anywhere and not see the wires. Ran a long time on the batteries (when I forgot to shut them off)
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
I used two of the 20 light strands to light a Christmas wreath on my front door. I found it very easy to fit the strands into the exact shape I wanted and have readjusted them several times to make the wreath look even better. The wire is copper so it's very flexible. I hope that over time, year after year, they continue to be as durable as they are this year. Each strand uses 4 AA batteries but I am not having to replace the batteries as often as I did with the standard strings of mini-lights I used in the past. I did have to get used to the LED type of brightness. It's not warm and soft but it is different and attracts your eye.
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
The red is very bright and cheerful. I am using them on a dense, potted palm tree. They look very festive.
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
I used two Norfolk pine together( closely tiered) and these lights looked like a fairyland Christmas tree.
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
I was so convinced these would be perfect, I ordered three sets. Big mistake. The battery pack is huge for the miniscule size of the string of lights. It's at least half the size of a pack of cigarettes!
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
They're just the right size for a small bookcase top or maybe a tiny tree
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
Decorated mantle and it looks great. Lights are delicate and attractive.

Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
The battery powered microlights I purchased for the holidays couldn't be any cooler. The copper wire and LED lights are so small that they can be hidden within holiday decorations and greenery without detracting from the piece itself. The lights are bright and festive. I stretched out the wires straight and lined them under my kitchen cabinets for a modern twist on holiday decorating. I also curled one up and put it inside a glass vase to light up my Christmas arrangement of silver and red sticks. Everyone thought it came from a professional florist. Another one went under a glass topped table. These lights are truly versatile and modern, and you don't have to worry about plugging them in. That's the best part. I love them! I just wish they were made for outdoor use as well and came in different lengths.
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
I was so sure I was going to love these I bought three of them right off. Wrong move. The battery pack is much bigger then you would think, and limits how you can use them. If it wasn't for the battery pack, I would give them four stars. Oh well, lesson learned.
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
These lights are a great idea, but I was disappointed in the color of the actual light. It's very cold--not at all like the nice warm white christmas lights on trees. Pretty cheap looking for the price too.
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
Inside glass houses sold by GS instead of candles and inside breakfront to illuminate crystal.

Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
The color of the light was too bright and bluish. They don't fit in with my other lights. It would be much better if the white was softer.
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
These little lights are great in a centerpiece where you can't use a cord and/or don't want real candles. You have to hide the battery pack, but the lights are easy to incorporate into a basket of pinecones or some greenery.
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
I bought these to illuminate my decorative antique cardboard Christmas houses & I think they will be perfect. I'm only concerned with how delicate the wiring is. I think they're rather pricey, but I'm glad I bought them. They're very attractive.
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
Wrapped strings around mini trees for fireplace mantle decoration.
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
I love the little lights across my bookcases with other holiday decorations. They are just the right touch. I think I will keep them up all year.
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
These are just perfect. I have 2 sets on a small tree, concealed in a cachepot holding the tree. I am buying more sets to use on my dining room table tucked into a crystal bowl filled with colored bulbs and greens. There are endless possibilities. They are just perfect, maybe as they are mass-produced the price will come down a bit.

Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
This came with a burned section. And due to the type of item it was all wire with globules of acrylic as "quote" lights. The other problem was the wire was all twisted..so getting it to a point that I could use it was very difficult.
Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
I've lived in 3 houses that have had fireplace mantels, but I've never been able to light them up with those white tree lights because I have never had an electric outlet nearby...Now I can add the accent of tiny lights on my mantel with this battery pack string of LED lights....I love them!!

Comments about Battery-Powered Microlights:
Several years ago I found a light like this. The only one left was red. I thought they wouldn't last long but they do. I use it on my centerpiece on the dining room table. It is easy to conceal the battery pack amongst greens or pumpkins, most anything you have. I ordered 2 for gifts for friends who asked me to get them one if I ever found them again. I tried the clear and the lights are brighter than ever! It is amazing how bright they shine since they are so small.
