love these style of supports but latest purchase seems a little lighter/less sturdy than those purchased years ago
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
again so tired of ugly tomato cages that don't last. These tomato ladders - I got them in RED - are so sturdy and look fabulous. Again, my friend asked for them for her birthday and yes i ordered them and have them hear for her March bday.
Thank you for such quality products - they seem like they will last for years.

They look great in the garden!
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Very nice addition to my garden.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
My tomato plants grew very tall with this product. I didn't purchase them until after my plants were planted and growing well so I had to be careful not to affect the roots when I put in the ladders. I had some problems with one of the three ladders tilting over, but I believe that was because they went in after the plants were growing for a while. I can't wait to use them again next year. They also look attractive in the garden. Great product!!!
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
These items become almost invisible after the plants started to grow amongst them. The only recomendation I can give is to have them made in the U.S.A. Then they would be perfect.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
easy to use but the extension should be added to top not bottom, does not hold tomato plants up due to the small diameter and open side
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
The tomato ladders are able to support the weight of the heavy tomato plants without being braced. The ladders never blow down. It is easy to keep the plants tucked in and under control.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
These may be pricey but well worth it!
No other stake can match the control these ladders have. A MUST for any tomato lover.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Great product. Exactly what I needed for my small vegetable garden. Will definitely be purchasing more as I expand it next year. Primarily bought for tomato plants, but used them successfully with cucumbers and squash as well. Small enough to not be an eyesore but tall enough to do the job. I can definitely recommend.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I can't believe I ever raised tomatoes without these ladders. Every plant is heavy with ripening fruit yet these ladders hold the plants straight and tall. Now I can easily see and pick each tomato when it's ready, and each fruit gets more sunlight because the ladders eliminate droopy stems. Next year I'm buying the extensions because my plants grow much taller on these ladders. Another bonus - my tomato garden is visible from the street and these ladders are a big improvement over the jury-rigged contraptions I've used over the years. Other neighborhood gardeners have actually complimented me!
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
The tomato ladders are the best product I have found for holding up my tomato plants. They do not blow over. I do find I sometimes have to use at least two for a plant - once the plant grows large.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
These ladders are the most sturdy tomato ladders I have ever seen. I expect to use them and the easily installed extensions for many years to come.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I use this on all my vegetables.

I have purchased these ladders from you for several years. The latest pieces have been degraded in quality as the material is lighter in weight and less sturdy. The prices went up from [$] for 5 pieces to [$] for 3 pieces. So, they become too expensive to purchase.

Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I have about 40 heirloom tomato plants in my garden this year and every year I experiment with supports. I have tried cages, a "ladder support" from another company, spirals, etc. and these are by far the best. This year about 1/3 of my tomatos are supported by these and as my budget allows in up coming seasons all my tomatos will eventually be supported by these.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Easy to use during planting
adds color to the garden
could be a little taller
my tomatoes love them
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I actually bought these for tomatoes, but since all my tomatoes were already on wire cages, I used them for bell peppers, which are also heavy. They work great. Looking forward to using them next year for tomatoes.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
This is my second summer of using the Tomato Ladders. What a great product, as it is strong, durable, good looking, and helps support my tomato plants. I recommend the purchase of the Tomato Ladder Extensions to go with this product, as my tomato plants grew to six feet tall last year and needed the additional height for support.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
These tomato ladders are the sturdiest ladders that I have seen.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
The catalog shows one ladder per plant, but really you need 2 per plant to keep it supported from both sides, otherwise half the plant falls out to the ground because the cage itself is quite narrow.

Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
We grow our own hybrid tomatoes in whiskey barrels. I can fit 4 plants in each barrel. Get the extensions if you are going to buy the ladders. Our plants were above the top of the ladder + extension - that's 6-1/2 feet tall - by the middle of July! We are having a very cool summer and everyone else is complaining that their tomatoes aren't growing. Our plants produce vines with 14-16 tomatoes on each vine, these ladders are working well and gently support the fruit. Also having good luck with the reusable plant ties (velcro tape). I will be buying more for next year! Our garden is the envy of the neighborhood.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I have tried many different supports for my tomatoes and they just never held up to the weight of the plants. This work great and I love them.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I purchased the ladder, with extension, to support some flowering vines (Stephanotis and vanilla orchid). I think these will work well. My only criticism is that the diameter is less than I expected. It was easy to attach the ladder to the extension (the extension goes into the ground).
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
7/24/09: These tomato ladders were an addition to a set of five purchased previously for use this year. I live in Maine, and with all the rain we've had in June and July, the garden is very slow to get started. HOWEVER, the tomato plants do have blossoms now, and the ladders are doing a great job of keeping them upright. "Time will tell" what happens IF the blossoms turn into tomatoes (yellow--yummy).
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I've read about the competition between towers vs ladders. I was very impressed with the sturdiness of the ladders. I was also impressed with how well they worked. I am, alas, a tower person but the ladders are very close.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
These are perfect -- strong and good-looking, just right for tomatoes.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Looked sturdy, but I still had to help the tomato plants along; they constantly wanted to grow outside the ladder and I had to push back in. Think they are not as stable because I was using in patio containers (old recycle bins)
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
As the tomato plants grow, I simply coax the new growth onto the rungs of the ladder and I no longer need to tie the plant to something. so easy to use. would like it if the ladders were a foot or two taller.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
These ladders are really strong and they look great. I like to have a garden that is as functional as it is aesthetically pleasing. These ladders definitely accomplish those ends!

Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Purchased for tomato plants but they are not wide enough. Plants fit only partially even with tying up stragling branches. Would be great if they could spread further apart. I do like the concept but not for tomatoes.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
For many years I have used cages but thought I would try the ladders. Best move I ever made. The plants are growing nicely - only downside is making sure you keep them within the ladder. Nothing is on the ground and the ladders look quite attractive in my garden between the glads and other flowers.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I have tried many, MANY tomato cages, stakes, supports over the years and I absolutely hands down think these are the best. They are a little spendy, but well worth it as they last through season after season.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Used these in my small raised bed vegetable garden. I got the red because the green was out of stock. I am very happy with them. The red brightens the garden and looks so cute. They help to keep the tomatoe plants from touching each other which causes plant diseases to spread. So far my tomatoe plants look healthy. I bought 2 sets (6) and will be coming back next year for more, as I usually grow 8 tomatoes and 4 cucumber plants. (I grow the cukes off the ground also in wire cages because I have had problems with soil disease - yellow and wilting leaves).
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
First time use. Will see how it goes. Too much rain this summer, so don't know if the crop will happen.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
We just stuck them into the ground after we planted our tomatoes and within a few weeks, the plants were climbing to the top of the tomatoe ladder.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I love the tomato ladders. They are compact and very sturdy. My plants really stick to them.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Great for the purpose of staking tomato plants, just wish the color had not faded in the year I used the first set, bought a second set this year, and the color difference is very obvious.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
so simple to use. i had them up in a few minutes.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
they are sturdy and do not corrode--even a heavy crop is supported. Used for tomatoes & eggplant

Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I bought a set of 5 of these last year. They are too small to adequately support a tomato plant, but since they are nice looking, I was planning to buy another 5 and put 2 on each plant. Not at this new and improved price!! They were already expensive, this is ridiculous.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I ran out of wooden stakes and wanted to try something different for our tomatoe plants. My 11 year old twin daughters and I were looking through your website and we came across the tomatoe ladders. Of course, we ordered the red one to match the tomatoes. We continue to fuss over the plants with wooden stakes and receive lots of compliments with the ladders. Our plan, to replace our old wooden stakes!
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I used two ladders joined by flexible bands to hold up my eggplants in a container. These ladders are very sturdy so I'm sure I'll be able to use them in a variety of ways and for many years!
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
It is very windy in Kansas. the tomatoe ladders work great in the wind, good supports!
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
The tomato ladders are designed perfectly for the plant. I don't even have to tie them up becuse the ladders are formed to help the plant from falling while giving it plenty of room to grow.
Highly recommend them for anyone who plants a garden!
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
These are the most useful tomato supports I've ever used. They are attractive and and easy to use, also very light weight and easy to store. The best revelation to me was that I thought I would like the tomato cages better and instead I like these better. Having tied both, these win hands down.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
They are built to last, simple to use and look nice, blend in well.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Am very pleased with these tomato ladders. I use them in raised beds with no other support. I have had them for 3 years now and they appear to be as rugged as the day I purchased them.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
These ladders are so easy to install and are so sturdy that they won't fall over under the weight of the plant. Talk about a perfect design!
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Best and thickest we could find!!! The wife loves them.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I love how sturdy they are compared to others and homemade wire ones that rust. The extensions are great also because my tomato plants alway grow at least seven feet tall. In the past I would stake them then let them grow back down to the ground. Now they can grow straight up.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I have bought a tomato ladders in an attempt to grow up not out in new raised beds and we shall see how this works. So far so good, but we are a ways off from actual harvest.
I will say that the red ladders are fading in the sun whereas the green ones are not. They were very easy to put in, are very sturdy and look great.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Tomato ladders are easy to use, and can be pushed into hard ground by stepping on the lowest rung. I will order more for next year, as I staked my other tomatoes the old way, with wood stakes that aren't as sturdy. I've had the wood ones fall over when the plant gets big and heavy. I haven't tied the tomato plants to the ladders yet, as the design of the ladders keep the plants upright.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Love the looks of the product and it makes good use of the limited space I have in my garden.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
These ladders are the best product I have found--in many years of organic gardening--to support tomatoes. I initially tied the stalks to the ladders when the plants were young. But, as they have grown, the ladders allow the plants to "grow into them" naturally supporting the fruit laden branches. And, they allow you to grow more plants in a small area. I added two additional plants to a small plot and I am amazed at how well my plants are doing this year....I will be giving away a lot of tomatoes this year!
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
THey were exactly what was needed and they even make the garden more attractive. Extremely sturdy!
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:

Heavy Stakes for Tomatoes
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
These are the only stakes I've tried that can hold up a mature tomato plant that is heavy with tomatoes. They are so easy to use and store. They show no signs of aging after two summers of use.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I grew my first tomatoes last year and didn't really want the expense or storage challenge of cages, so I used rope and bamboo posts. While that worked, it wasn't pretty, and was labor intensive to string them up. My garden is very small, and I grow my veggies in water reservoir containers. This year, I wanted things to be a bit more elegant, sturdy and most of all easy. These tomato towers were the perfect solution. They are barely noticeable in the garden, while providing strong support, and best of all, fit easily in my boxes! So worth the one time investment.

Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I have staked all my tomatoes this year with this ladder and it is extremely easy to use and it is strong to support the vines.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
these are very good tomatoe supports, although they are made of thinner wire than the first ones I bought (ladder wires) I still think they will work out all right
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
the tomato ladders are great---sturdy and well constructed-----they held up to 76mph winds on 6/30/09----protected the tomato plants from damage. Would like to purchase more---maybe next year.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I love these tomato ladders. They are so easy to use. I just place them around the tomatoes and do not do any tying at all. I just keep an eye on the branches to make sure they don't get out of the ladder at too low of a rung.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Holds alot of tomatoes very sturdy
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I got these tomato towers to use in my new raised beds. The 11 inch prongs stick down far enough to be firmly anchored. So far it's been easy to corral the plants inside the U-shaped opening, and if needed I could use some string for more control. They look much better than my 30 year old ones made out of old fence, and though pricey may last a long time.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
My only critique is that the extentions should be able to be added on to the base instead of going into the ground 1st. Currently you need to decide ahead of time just how tall a ladder you will need. If you make a bad estimate you are stuck with the original height. If you could add the extension on to the base after the fact, you could make the ladder higher as/if the need arises later. Otherwise I am happy with the product it is very sturdy and easy to use
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I'm over sixty and all the years that my kids were home, i wanted a organized attractive garden. we have many amish neighbors and their gardens are always so neat and orderly. over the years i was able to get a rototiller and succeed a little in keeping the rows clear, but still messy tomatoes and weeds between plants, then i used weed stopping black material, but still my tomatoes were messy and hard to control..this year i got ladders and the garden looks so great! I'm proud of it!!!
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
The ladders are easy to push into the ground. They withstand strong winds without tipping over and are strong enough to support very large plants. They nest together for storage. The red color adds some pizazz to the garden.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I just got them this year. They are best used for determinate plants plus the user needs to be diligent in keeping suckers pinched off to avoid over branching...great for Roma plants. I bought the red ones to easily distinguish them from my vegetable ladders. I will buy more when they go on sale.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
no question about it; these ladders keep the fruit off the ground and assure a clean unblemished tomato
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
The product was easy to install, and seems to be working. We're watching the tomatoes grow, so time will be the judge.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I purchased the red tomato ladders first, then the green ladders second. The green ladders weren't made with the same thickness of metal. But so far I have been very satisfied with the tomato ladders.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I am using these for a variety of tomato plants (early girl, beefsteak, grape) and they seem to be fine. I do find that I need to check a few times a week to be sure the plants are climbing up the ladder, as sometimes the branches fall forward out the open side.
I do like them a lot and they add variety to the garden.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I'm really happy with the tomato towers. They are not cheap, but they are so much heavier gauge than others I have seen. The slender profile makes them easy to store and allows me to plant closer together. If they cost a bit less, I would have given them 5 stars.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I have been using the tomato ladders plus the extensions in my garden, where, this year, I am growing many tomato cultivars to compare them. So far I have purchased 2 sets of ladders plus 2 sets of extensions. I love the cheerful red color, and the fact that, with the extensions they'll be tall enough for many of my tomato cultivars. Most tomato towers I've seen aren't. I don't know yet if the red color will help set more flowers than would any other color. Although it is still early in the season, I am already liking the fact that I don't have to tie up each new branch, as I can rest them on the horizontal bars.
I don't know how these supports will do in a heavy wind, with heavy tomato plants on them. There are only 3 fairly short prongs to stick in the ground. I am backing up a few of mine with regular sturdy tomato stakes, just in case. This seems redundant, but I am not ready to sacrifice 8 tomato plants if these stakes blow over
By the end of the season, I should know whether I can recommend these to a friend. I may also increase my overall rating at that time.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Used them before. The quality is outstanding.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I only use these towers in my garden. The prior versions seem to have been made of heavier grade metal.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
i used my tomato ladders to support my two very big tomato plants.it supports them very well. great item.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
These ladders are great, very sturdy and attractive. I highly recommend them. And they will last for years.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I found these ladders easy to use and strong. There is more room in my garden where I have these. I love how they take up much less storage space. They are really heavy duty, yet attractive. I can't wait to get more.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I have a very lush, green garden and wanted color and excitement while I am waiting for the fuits of my labor. The red tomato ladders and colorful spirals are so much fun to look at!! All the neighbors have commented on them ... now I know who is looking at my food!! ha,ha.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I love these. I have used them for several years and they work better than anything I have tried. Easy storage and easy to set up. This year I ordered the extensions. Couldn't be happier with them.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
We grow tomatoes in Earth Boxes. Last year, we had a difficult time staking them. When I saw these in the catalog, I thought they would be perfect and I was right. They fit easily inside the Earth Boxes to support the tomato plants. A great purchase that will last many years!
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
A few years ago I bought the tomato cages from you. They work the best for us. When putting in Roma plants they tend to get very large and well-rounded. The cages have been great for them. I'm confident the tomato ladders would not have worked well for the Roma, as they get too large. We have experimented with the ladder with the Boxcar Willy and Brandywine varieties. They are doing okay. If I could change them out I would use a tomato cage and stack them. I'm sure there are varieties that do very well with the tomato ladders but we have found that the varieties we planted do much better with the tomato cage. The convenience of being able to stack them if need be, along with folding them for storage, is great. I realize that tomato plants are really a vine but some varieties get very large with lots of fruit in which the ladders are unable to provide proper support. I'm sure they are great for a specific variety tomato plant.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
great support for your tomatoes...can stack for taller varieties...powdercoated so should last for many years...what's not to like about this great product?!!
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
As a participant in a community garden, I can always find my plot by looking for the tall, red tomato ladders. They are sturdy and are holding up my heavy vines very nicely. They seem very durable, so I will not have to replace them next season. They will be used for many years.

I often place these among my flowers because they are so attractive and sturdy. Can use them year after year.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Compact and sturdy to support the tomatoes inside the greenhouse. Size works well with square-foot garden planting.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Would not plant a tomato in the garden without one of these supports.

I am using the SFG (Square Foot Gardening, by Mel Bartholomew) concept and the ladders are a perfect solution. I am gardening again and using your products is a great help. The information you publish, both on the website and the catalogue, is very helpful. So is your staff @ the 800#. I like that this is an employee owned company as well. Pride of ownership shows.

Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I guess I was expecting more than a tri-pole tomato stake. I thought I would be able to use it more like a cage, but you have to tie your plants to the poles. With that in mind it works well as a tomato stake, but I could have purchased poles for MUCH less money.

Support for vegetables and flowers
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Over the years I have struggled with inadequate tomato support devices. Your toamto ladders are strong, lightweight, will last for many years and are designed by a gardener
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
It's about time that someone came up with this idea for a tomato support that truly works. Everything I have tried over the years were a little help, but these ladders are strong and can really support a heavy tomato plant that is loaded with fruit and never fail to do what they are supposed to do -- support the plant.
My thanks to whoever is responsible for the idea of these ladders.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
-Used to provide vertical support for growing tomatoes
- Great color choices (red contrasting with the green tomato vines)
- There isn't anything bad about the product
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Great for our tomato plants - very sturdy - have ordered a second set.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I love the ladders. I have raised beds for most of my vegetable garden and these ladders are perfect for the eggplants and the tomatoes. I don't have to tie the plants up so the plants develop stronger stems and support themselves. The stands support the leaves and fruit.
The only downside is that they are rigid so winter storage is just stacking them together.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I would like to see them a little taller without adding an extension.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Easy to tie up tomato plants, sturdy.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:

Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I couldn't wait to put them in the garden. Easy to install and very sturdy. Nice looking in the garden. Thank you for a great product.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I'm finally glad to have a sturdy support for my tomato plants that do not require constant tying of the plants. I look forward to many years of use.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
The ladders are very strong, easy to install and store. The red ones brighten up the garden and are attractive with the ripe tomatoes. However, you do have to be dilligent about training the vines as they are growing. Keeping off suckers helps the vines to grow into the ladder. A little more of the circular part would help. I have bought them for all my 12 tomatoes plants and they work better than any others I have purchased in the past.

I was going to order another set of these. I was dismayed to see the price has increased by almost 40% since last year! Come on Gardener's Supply, what's up with that?? Haven't you heard there is a recession going on? [...]
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
These tomatoe ladders are a must for everyone. Now that I know how to actually train my plants, I find these supports well worth the price. Now if they could just control the weather...
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
The plant is perfectly supported, while minimal work on my part to set it up
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
This was a reorder, I enjoy the support of the plant in the winds that are a part of gardening in Kansas. They stack and store so easily when the season ends. Peoplee comment on their atttactiveness.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I used the ladders with the automators in pots in the front of my south facing house to grow tomatoes. I ordered the ladders after my plants were about a foot high and broke off some branches getting the ladders and automators in place so will plan on installing them when my plants are smaller next year. They seem very sturdy and look nice in my pots. I put marigolds in the pots also and they look nice.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I grow heirloom tomatos and they need a lot of support these are pefect, but many of the plants will reach 6 or 7 feet high then i discovered the extentions which make a perfect product even more perfect.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
As an avid vegetable, herb and flower gardener I was so happy to finally find a decent support for tomatoes that is sturdy, never falls over with loaded plants and stacks conveniently for storage. I bought another set of 3 this year but was sad to see the price was nearly the same as I thought I had paid for a set of 5 a few years ago, and the lateral supports had been replaced with a thinner metal which looks more easily bendable. Still a great product but I will treat the new ones with care as they don't seem as sturdy.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
The cages are very good support for our tomatoes and make it easier to harvest
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
The ladders are great. You don't have to worry about tying the plants up, they just grow up the ladders. Super low maintenance!

Great for tall tomato plants
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Expensive. Easy to use. Attractive. Excellent support. Expect easy storage over winter. Some tomatoes overtopped in July. Will need to buy or rig extensions.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
They work like a charm. I was a little disappointed when I called that the diameter of the metal had been reduced but they still seem to be high quality and substantial.

Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
We purchased the ladders last year and were very satisfied. This year the price was the same but we recieved only 3 ladders instead of 5. The latteral cross pieces were of a lighter gauge wire than the original ladders and one of the welds broke on the first use. This is a classic case of taking a high quality product and ruining it.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
This purchase was for my grandkids who wanted to have a garden "just like Mom-Mom's". Naturally, I had to buy the Best equipment for them. Their tomatoes are growing nicely up the "Ladder".

These are attractive from the moment you stake your vegetables. The color, green or red, is very complimentary to your garden landscape. Very strong support for even the largest tomato plant. I'll be using mine for years to come.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
THese ladder not only hold the tomatoes very sturdy but with the Red it makes an attactive planter for the deck when you add the green tomatoe vines. Excellent choice.

I don't have a whole lot of room for a garden, but my wife and I love tomatoes and so we use the ladders to save precious real estate. The red ladders seem to be made with more steel and a bit more hardier, however both green and red will support all the tomatoes you can levy on them.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
This is my first time to use the Tomato Ladders, having used various different designs in the past. So far I like them, especially their attractive red color. They really stand out in a green garden.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
These study ladders not only provide an excellent support for our tomatoes, but also look so pretty in our flower/vegetable garden.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I have staked three of my tomato plants by my tiki torches and they look nice and are doing the job well. I'd have bought more if they weren't quite so expensive.

I have been using these for years and just added more
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
first time using these - they look great but tomato plants are only about 1 foot high so far - we'll see how well they work when they're 4-5 feet tall - if they work I'll be ordering more for sure, so much better then the wire round ones.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
This product is by far the best way to support tomatoes in the garden. I also am using them to support a couple eggplants. Over the years I have been tieing my plants to a stake. This a real improvement over that and it looks much better.

Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
the tomato ladders are colorful and protective in the vegtable garden. the red ladders give a lift to the garden. They wrap the plants to give them good support from the beginning.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Beats the flimsy cage-like tomato ladders found elsewhere.

Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
This is my first year with these ladders but have been extremely satisfied so far. The heavy duty metal made it very easy to push in the ground. And I don't think I'll have to worry about staking and protecting them from blowing over in the wind. The walls of water were easy to set up around the cages too. Looking forward to an abundant crop.

Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I liked the product from a previous purchase (2006). So I bought some more. They are great for holding up the tomato vines in all kinds of weather. Con- this purchase was more expensive and the wire was of a narrower gauge.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
We are very happy with this product. It looks very nice in the garden. I can see why they have extentions. They are not very tall.

Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Having fought with flimsy, awkward tomato cages for years, these are a pleasure...they install easily, seem sturdy, look neat. Now to see if my tomatoes like them! I also purchased the extensions, and was pleased to note clear instructions to install those first!

Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I'm using the stakes to support my tomatoes and squash and pole beans in a raised square foot garden which is very visible from the street. So many neighbors have stopped to say how great the garden looks. I'm ready to order more plus a few extensions. Thanks.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:

These are great ladders...much better than the traditional tomatoe cages. Sturdy and attractive. I use them for both tomatoes and peppers.

Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
This product is NOT powder coated. It is covered in a very delicate rubber type coating that was cracked when I received the product....exposing the bare metal. Will likely be rusted by next year and in the scrap heap the year after. Worth the cost if it were actually powder coated. My first and final purchase from this site. Shame on you!

Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Love these, much easier to use than the coney/cage things, and the plants seem to grow easier with out being completely confined. Bought 2 sets last year and another this year, will continue to use them and they seem to have made it through various weather/storing conditions with no problems
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I'm using the ladders for the first time this year, so this review would be more informed if I were writing it 2 months from now. But, I am impressed with how sturdy they are, and the plants are well supported. We've had lots of rain this year, and the plants have been protected. I've tried lots of other supports, which were too flimsy. I think I'll be able to use these for many years.

Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
The product works very well, way surpassing the old-fashioned tomato cages, BUT... This is the second year of use and two things have happened -- The red color has faded to orange and, the paint has chipped off in numerous places which has left VERY rough areas to chafe the tender tomato stems. This is totally unacceptable. I have 46 ladders and last year recommended them to a friend who bought some on my recommendation. Because of the chipped paint, I would no longer recommend them.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
It helps streamline the tomato plants and assists with letting me grow more of something else. It also keeps the plants neater.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
These ladders are fabulous for the tomato plants we have already begun to wind ours around them....and they are attractive to have in your garden!
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I bought both the ladders and extensions which
was not necessary unless your tomatos grow to
6 - 7'. Buying the ladder extention is all you
need as they are about 5' tall. This is my first
year with the ladders so will know more as the
summer progresses.

Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I primarily use the ladders for my tomato plants, but I have used them for some really large eggplants. The only suggestion that I have is that I would like it if the prongs on the bottom were a bit longer as my tomatoes really need to be anchored deep because they are so big and heavy.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
this is the first time i am using this product, i usually use wire cages, but was not happy with them. These ladders had good reviews, space saving & sturdy, it is too early for me to let you know how they worked until the tomatoes arrive. I will be happy to send another review later in the summer.
Very easy to install & i show them off to my neighbors, if they are as good as i hope, you will get more orders. So far I love them.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
To support tomato plants.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I love the way they look and they are much sturdier than any of the other supports in my garden. My tomatoes are still small, but if these ladders aren't up to the job, no supports are.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
loved the compact shape, and purchased for the sturdiness.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
The ladders are great for tomatoes but they have reduced the guage steel on the cross supports and yet have raised the price on the latters a whopping 38% from last year. Still a good product and its a Gardener supply exclusive, but I think I'll shop elswhere for other things.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Took me years to find really sturdy tomato supports. These tomato ladders are strong enough to hold plants even when fruit is heavy. Wish they were a little taller, but then they might be less easy to handle. All in all, an excellent product.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I love the sturdiness of the tomato ladders and feel they will last for many years.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I love how sturdy they are, they store much easier than the traditional "cages" and I think will hold up much longer - no bending of the legs when I set them in! I wish I'd ordered more for this year - will definitely get some more for next year.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I used these on my tomato plants. I was impressed by their duabilty and how easy they were to use.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
The tomato ladders work great in my square foot garden, they are small enough to fit in a 12 inch grid, yet sturdy enough to hold heavy tomato plants. In fact I need to order more!
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
This sturdy product is much better than the normal flimsy wire tomato cages you have to replace each year. These last for years. Extremely strong for the largest tomato vines. Leaves can rest on the cross slats.

Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
The ladders have good weight, but are very short. It is only June 2nd and my tomatoes are already higher than the ladders.
Problem is if I want to add an extension (good idea) it has to be added to the bottom of the ladder rather than just adding it to the top. This makes it very difficult.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Second purchase of this product . . first purchased this product last year . .allowed tomatoes greater support and light exposure. .far superior to the flimsy round metal ones I've used in the past . . also, gave some to my son for his raised garden beds next to his house . .Highly recommend this product if you want to get optimum productivity out of your tomatoe plants. .
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
A great Tomato or pepper plant support.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I appreciate the quality of the tomato ladders. They are sturdy, attractive and will last more than one season.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I just got my garden in but they look like they'll do a great job. They sure are nice looking, can't wait to see how they do,
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I don't have a full season of experience with these yet, but I am very pleased so far. After growing tomatoes in wall-o-waters, it is much easier to install these U-shaped ladders with larger plants than it is to set up square cages. The plants can be staked, but quickly grow enough foliage to be self standing and so far (late spring)have held up in strong winds.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Very heavy duty and attractive, Adds to the looks and functionality of the tomato pots we use. Were a little worried about the cost, but after using feel they are well worth it.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
So far they are working well. If the tomato plants get very large it may be hard to find the tomatoes. The ladder does keep the plants off the ground and allows air circulation.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I purchased 6 tomato supports and extensions. So far I have not had to tie any of my tomato plants to the supports (unlike the rest of my tomato patch). Only time will tell if they can support fully grown plants, but so far I am very impressed.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Just planted the tomatos but the cages look like they should work well. I am going to add a support stake to each just to be safe.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
The Tomaote Ladders are very practical and will last a long time. It is very easy to remove the plant after the season is over. I plan on buying 2 more sets.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
We have most of the tomato ladders in our outdoor raised beds, where the tomato plants are slowly growing upwards. The potted tomato plant in our greenhouse, however, has already nearly reached the top of it's ladder. Many thanks for a wonderful product!
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I have just installed them so will have to see how well they work this summer..
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
The tomato ladders are thick & sturdy. They will NOT be knocked over by a gusty wind. Even the heaviest tomato plant will have ample support
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I am also using these to help support my berry plants that have taken on a mind of their own.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Used the Tomato Ladders and for the first time they haven't fallen over in the wind. Could be a bit wider though for bigger plants.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I am using the ladders with potted tomato plants and squash. So far they are performing as promised. These are large, durable ladders and require at least 12" to 14" pots. They definitely would not work in smaller pots. Probably work best in-ground, but I am pleased with them. Am concerned they may become top-heavy as the plants grow taller.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I ordered 3 sets so I would have one for each of my 9 tomato plants. They look great, work great and are the best type of tomato plant support available. I have tried everything from plain stakes to the wire boxes, but nothing beats this product. And it works easily with the red automators.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
These heavy duty, sturdy, attractive tomato ladders are the best support system I have ever used for tomatoes. Best of all they resist bending and are sturdy enough to be driven into rocky soil without being damaged or disfigured.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
These Ladders stay in place, and guide the plant as it grows. So far, they have done their jobs just as described.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
All the other tomato cages I have tried have gotten so bent after a few yeras that I could not longer get them in the ground.

Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
This is the first year we have used these supports, they are much stonger than the flimsy wire ones we have used in the past. Our tomato crop didn't do well last year beacuse the supports kept falling over. This year we look forward to a good crop with the heavy duty supports. We are already planning to purchase more next year!
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
This is my second batch - there used to be five in an order but apparently someone discovered what a good thing they had and now there are three in an order. They seem expensive but you can buy the wire tomato cages that fall apart in one summer or you can invest in something that lasts longer and works better. We have a lot of wind here but the plants are unfazed by it when protected by these ladders. They store easily, clean up quickly, and are a definite plus for any garden.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
These are much more sturdy than anything I have found in any stores. They were kind of pricey but I look at it as a one time investment instead of having to buy the flimsy ones every year. I think they will store easily as well.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
In large pots and they are just wonderful
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I use these for my tomato plants, I have a raised bed which is about 4 ft tall, as I have had two back surgeries, and it works wonderful for me.
Besides the are looking good in my garden. I have people stop and ask what I have where I got them from.
I love useing them.

Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
these ladders are sturdy, easy to train plants, store in small space, but I think a little pricey
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I've tried other stakes and cages for tomato plants, but was looking for something better... For me, this is it! It was easy to set up, and has stayed firmly in place. It's early in the season, and my tomato plants are climbing the ladder. I have yet to see how it will hold up to the mature plants, but it beats anything I've tried so far, and looks like I'll be able to use it year after year.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
It seems to work just fine.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Nice looking and blends with natural landscape.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Every year I have struggled with a multitude of products to keep my tomato plants under control and every year they end up in a birds nest of chaos, mostly on the ground. This year they are happily growing upright with my new tomato ladders - I wish I'd gone ahead and bought them years ago! Thanks for a super product!
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Following the suggestion of my extension agent, I've started to grow tomatoes in large tree pots. I have some in cages, but will gradually replace them with your ladders. Ladders are sturdier, make pruning and picking easier, and take up much less space when stored.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I was considering building a permanent garden structure to support the tomatoes and vines when I saw the tomato ladders in the catalog. I've long ago given up on tomato cages. They fall over and bend when tomatoes get to size. These were expensive for tomato supports, but building a wooden support system would also be costly.
It's only May, so I'll reserve judgement on them until I see how they hold up through summer storms when the tomatoes are larger, but so far so good.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Strong support for my plants. I have no fear of wind damage or stakes being pulled out in a storm.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:

Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I use the ladders in the ground and also in planters.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I'll never use anything else!
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I am able to grow tomato plants on the ladders rather than spreading out and losing tomatos due to wet ground.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
So far, they look great, and the tomatoes are growing!
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
After years of buying flimsy cages I invested in 15 of these ladders. They are strong, study and does not fall apart.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Due to cool weather the tomatoes haven't started to grow enough to see how these will work.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
These supports, as well as the vegetable ladders are perfect. Good, heavy-weight wire construction. They go into the ground easily. The plants are supported well. They nest together for easy storage. I kick myself for using the flimsy wire cages for so long. My recommendation: Bite the bullet and spend the money for something that actually does the job well.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
These have been great!
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
This is my first year using this product. In the past I have used the wire triangle cages you can pick up at your local home and garden store. However with the size of my tomato plants and the strong winds we have in the mid-west they just were not cutting it, I constantly have to stake the cages. My parents have always used cages they make out of strong fencing wire, but they have the means to store them, I do not. The size of these make them easy to store, so if they work as well as advertise I will be very happy. It will be nice for my tomatoes to not get blown over during the summer. At this point they are working fine, but plants are still small so I will come back later in the season to let you know how they are doing when the plants are full grown.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Supports large tomato plants and adds an architectural aspect to the garden. Works well with container tomatoes.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I am very pleased with my tomato ladder. My plants are beginning to shoot up,and it is so easy to place the branches on the ladder. I picked the green finish and it blends right in to the background.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Strong to hold tomatoes or any tall vining plants
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Very sturdy, attractive. I would definitely purchase more in the future.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Seemingly excellent as tomato ladders... watching my new plants; keeping them in line with the center as they grow; and, hoping they will self adhere to the cross members of the ladder. So far, so good.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Finally, a tomato support that is both functional and good looking. Previously, we bought the circular, light-weight steel supports from the local box store - but they were small and flimsy, and always broke. We bought a set of 3 of the Gardener's supply tomato ladders and were so happy with them, we bought a second set of 3. Glad to finally have the right fit for a bountiful tomato crop.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Product required no assembly, just remove from the box and stick deep in the ground. It is early in the season so it's hard to know exactly how well they will do when my tomatoes are full grown. One thing I am sure of, these will not sag or bend. They are very sturdy. All my neighbors have commented on how nice they look. They will take some tending and tying as they are open on one side, but other than that...love them!!!

Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
These tomato support sare wonderful. They don't bend and are easy to sink down around the plant without damaging it. A little expensive, but worth it. I plan to add a few more each year.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
These supports should keep our tomatoes off the ground and be easy to use and make it easy to pick tomatoes.

Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I am using this for tomatoes in a very tight space. They are extremely sturdy and stable. I have 9 and they will stack and store easily also, which my husband loves. I do wish you didn't have to buy the extension separately. It seems that if things regularly grow over the top, particularly tomatoes, they should accommodate them without an extension.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I purchased the tomato ladders as a gift for my sister who plants a variety of tomatoes every year. She is THRILLED! Top-heavy plants have always been a problem until this year. The tomato ladders are perfect with the plants thriving and entwining in the ladders better than expected! The quality is EXCEPTIONAL. I wish I had purchased more than one set and will absolutely purchase additional ladders as the garden expands!
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Without a doubt, the best tomato supports I've ever had. This is my best crop to date. I should have bought the extensions my plants are growing so fast.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
these tomato ladders are strong enough and tall enough to support very large plants with heavy fruit. This is my second order of them and they work better than anything else I have ever used.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
The tomato ladders are not only strong, they look good in the garden too. Almost like adding useful garden art!
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Trying for the first time. Are substantially built as advertised. Plants are only 2' tall , so we will see what happens when they grow up. Using with the extensions and the automators and had no trouble matching the three products up.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
These ladders take up much less space in the garden allowing us to plant more tomatoes in the same space. They also take up less storage space. We used to use the fold-flat cages, but they weren't tall enough, took up a lot of space, and we were tired of untangling them every spring. These stack neatly inside of each other. We are also using them this year to grow our cucumbers up instead of having them sprawl across the garden - also allowing us more space to grow other vegetables.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
most tomato ladders will get the job done, but these are super sturdy and look really great - it says they fit with the tomato trays, but they really don't - you have to force them through, but other than that these are great.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I needed a sixth tomato support and find all the
others out in the marketplace flimsy, not sturdy.
Orginally I got 5.
I now have 2 extra ones. May use them for peas or
could cut them in half for shorter vegetables
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Second Season - best Tomato support I have ever used - they look great, they are strong, they store easily (do not take up a lot of space), and work great. Only pit fall I have found so far is they tend to have legs and walk away. . .if left out in open sight. . .
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
They hold the plants well, give me more room in my small garden. They look very cool and pretty. We love them!!
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:

Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I use these ladders for many purposes. Aside from being the strongest supports I have ever used for tomatoes, I use them as supports for clematis, zinnias and even small trees. I have even laid them across my square foot gardens to keep the critters away from new shoots in the Spring...endless uses and easy to stack for storage.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Great for growing Tomatos nice and tall. Well built. Just a few ends starting to rust, but overall very pleased. I have the green ones and they look great in the garden.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
i have had these for over 10 years, they store easily, are easy to use, very strong, coated very well, will be the last stakes you will ever buy. i have tied two tomato plants to one support and it held fine. not cheap but the quality makes you forget the price...over time.

Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
these are great tomato cages. My plants are just starting but I love these already. Easy to push into the ground- no feelings of ...oops I bent the cage!
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I now own a dozen ladders and recently purchased extensions which I am looking forward to using this summer 2009. I find the ladders very easy to use, store and they look good in the garden. They do not totally eliminate some "tying-up" but the ladder does the lion's share of support. I pull suckers from my tomato plants and that does help. You MUST have them in place prior to planting... I learned that the hard way my first time using them. I prefer ladders over cages and absolutely over letting plants sprawl over the ground.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I ordered 6 red tomato ladders last year and ordered another 6 this year. They work great, hold the biggest plants and I've used them in the ground and in pots of tomatos. I was giving away tomatos to everyone I knew since I had such a bumper crop.

Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I actually have not used the ladders yet as it is too early in the season. I am sure they will work fine.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Couldn't believe the quality and sturdiness of tomato ladders...and placed in the flower garden, the added architechual interest. Neighbors stop when walking by to ask about the "red things" in the garden. Looking forward to this year's tomato crop!
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
This is our first time using this product. So far it worked well to begin staking our plants. They are not high enough yet to tell if this will work for the fully developed plant. Ask again in 2 0r 3 months.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I was amazed at how easy these are to install in the garden and also how easy it is to train the plants to climb the ladder. This may be my favorite product purchased this season. The colorful ladders are also quite decorative.

Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Attractive, easy to use, easy to store; beyond my tomatoes(I only have a couple of these) I use them for potted clematis as well those climbing my front lamp post and bird feeder...
My problem... a wedding here next year... any chance of there being made in white or better yet, black??
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I like these very much. They are not flimsy like the cages are and they are taller. I now own 12.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I love these. It is most easy to start using them as soon as you put your tomato plant in the ground, but I was even able to put several established tomato plant in them as well. It was a trick cutting off the old support, and weaving the established tomato plant into the ladder, but I did it and they support them wonderfully. I highly recommend these to anyone.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I've used two of these in my raised bed. They add color before the plants have matured, and they seem like they adequately will support my plants. The only downside is that in loose soil, you have to push them down quite a bit for stability; the first rung is even with the soil in my raised bed.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I purchased these to support a Jasmine plant that I have had growing in the garden for several years. It will support the plant.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I've been using the Tomato Ladders for five years and have added two more sets this season as I'm enlarging my garden area. They are far superior to the old round cages I used to use because they are sturdy and don't bend or rust. They keep the garden looking tidier and stacking and storing them is easy and neat as well.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Such a huge improvement over cheap tomato cages that seem to need replacement annually.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
These tomato ladders are so much better than the tomato cages I use to buy. They are sturdy and compact and make my garden look attractive.

Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I have arthritis in my hands making it painful to drive tomato stakes into the ground, much less tie the tomatoes to the stakes. Ditto for pushing flimsy tomato cages into the ground. These are perfect so much so I keep buying more. The tomato crops were fantastic last year and I attribute it to the tomato ladders since nothing else changed.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:

Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
After reviewing many products, I bought this one. Still waiting on results, but it makes sense to get plants and produce off the ground. I have a small-sapace, raised-bed garden. I also have some Earthboxes for tomatoes and peppers. This product was chosen for strength, size, and ease-of-use. I also bought extensions because, in the past, we have had some really long tomato plants.

I use them for any vine growing plant. The red is attractive in the garden.

Nice strong attractive tomato ladder-- easy to store. Good product! Use for cucumbers too!

I like these ladders, but I was disappointed that they do not work with the self watering containers that you can buy from this website. They are not able to stick deep enough into the ground and just fall over. They do work with the older (deeper) planters they used to sell, but not the current "self watering patio planters" as they are too shallow.

It looks nice is all I know so far. I haven't had them for a full season yet.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
This is great for tomatoes. It is easy to use unlike tomato cages, plus it is a gorgeous color.

This is an excellent product for small gardens or if you just want to grow more produce with your garden. It does just what it says, and it saves space. I had to come out of my comfort zone and learn how to train the tomato plants, but it actually wasn't that bad. I look forward to seeing a bumper crop AND being able to use the ladder again next year unlike standard cages that break before the season is even over!
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
The ladders stay firmly in place and support tomatoes very well. Also, water walls fit well outside the ladders.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I was impressed that the ladder was easy to put into the ground and how steady it is.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I can think of multiple uses for the sturdy frames ,not only in my garden but in my home too.Their colorful paint will fit any Christmas sceen. In any case the tomatoes already love them, being gently supported through their growth! Thanks
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
The tomato ladders hold the weight of healthy vegetable vines. Unlike flimsy wire supports, the tomato ladders hold up to the elements and weight through the entire gardening season.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I love the ladders I have them, they have lasted for years. I have expanded my garden and need more ladders. They are great.

I was impressed with this product and wanted more for my greenhouse tomatoes. I found a less expensive version on another site and ordered it. Am I ever sorry I did! The construction and size were inferior. Tomato towers don't get any better than this one and while pricey, they are top notch quality and are sure to last a lifetime.

This is the second year I've used the tomato ladders. If fact I ordered six more this year. They survived our wet humid windy climate with no rusting or bending in spite of a heavy load of tomatoes. I have found it unnecessary to tie the branches to the supports. Excellent quality.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I was pleased with the product. The red color faded so fast that I may have to paint it for next season though
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Other tomato supports that I have tried would break after a season or two. These are very heavy duty. I am considering getting more and using them on other plants than need extra strong support.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
They provide more space for the rest of the vegetables
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I hope to need this much support for my tomatos. This looks like it will prevent the plant from falling over, but the plants will need to support the fruits and periphery themselves because the v-frame isn't all that big. Beefy tomato stakes, yes, support for the outer branches, maybe not... I suspect a plant that is as tall as these supports are, might need something bigger in circumference, but I may be all wrong.

Had my eye on this item for a year. Finally purchased and am not disappointed.

We are addicted to these ladders-they are fabulous! Is 2 dozen too many? Love lining these up in smaller garden spaces or placing them around a bed as an outline as well as regular straight lines in a bed. They are very sturdy and perfect for tomatoes, but love, love, love them for cucumbers! When placed next to each other, they look like a tomato or cucumber fence! The tomatoes and cucumbers are kept off the ground, definitely increasing the yield, and last year,we grew tomatoes and cucumbers in the front of the ladder and had beans climbing up the back! And we used them to support giant sunflowers too. Our garden would not be the same without these-they offer more vertical space, look great, store easily, have great versatility and we just keep ordering more as we find more and more ways to use them! We have the green and red, but would love to see them in more colors to make a garden rainbow of vegetables!

I had thought the metal gas going to be a bit thicker. If you are a little bit handy and have a little bit of time I would suggest making your own for a fraction of the cost.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
These supports are perfect for a small woman to use, as I can quickly and easily set them up myself! The old cages were large and ungainly to manipulate, and I still had to ask my husband to stake them down, as they would fall over. These tomato ladders are so sturdy, and easy for me to pull up at end of the season. I love how they look in my raised bed garden, keeping everything so neat and attractive.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
The tomato ladders are working very well with all varieties of plants. Also, they give the garden a good appearance.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
Much better than using warped, splintered wood tomato stakes and they are powder coated so they will last for years. I bought my first set about 3 years ago and they have gone-up in price a lot since then but they work. For most tomato plants however, they are too short. They sell 3' extensions to make them taller but way too pricey so I zip-tie a 3 to 4 foot length of cheap bamboo to the top of the ladder so the plants can climb higher. Also the red ones put off a certain color spectrum that stimulates tomato blossum growth as proven in leading university studies.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
My vines are already taking to the ladders. I can tell they will provide excellent support.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
These tomato ladders do the job. They are ready to go right out of the box. They have stood up to one full year in the Arizona sun and done extremely well -- the color is still good and the coating is intact. Very durable in extreme heat conditions.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
While I love the size and the ability to hold my tomato plants, after the first season they were already showing rust.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I bought these with the tomato automators and it looked like they would fit just into them, but they do not. You can put them right beside the automators, but not right on top. The quality is good, they look good, I'm just a little disappointed they did not "plug" right into the tomato automators. Please note, my tomatoes are only about 6" tall - so once they grow, this looks like a very sturdy, reliable trellis. MUCH BETTER than the wire tomato cage!

I have used the tomato ladders before and they are excellent. The plants grow tall and neat and look very professional.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
We used to garden years ago but then other considerations left little time for it until recently. Staking tomatoes was always somewhat of a hassle but with these new tomato ladders it was a cinch. We used them (green ones)for the first time last year on a trial basis and purchased seven more, this time in red, for this year. we look forward to again having our tomatoes well supported rather than on the ground and damaged. The ladders are a little heavy to move many of them at once but they are just right for providing the needed support.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
These tomato ladders are very strong even when fully loaded with a large tomato plant that is loaded with tomatoes. I order more each year as I replace the less durable and not as strong ones you buy at your local big box stores. The ones from the big box stores are a waste of money, these are worth the money.

Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
In my fifty some years of growing tomatoes I have tried wooden stakes, spirals, cages and cones and wire fencing. I now have two dozen tomato plants (the neighbors love getting my excess) and enough tomato ladders for each plant. Growing tomatoes is a hobby for me. I start my own plants so as to have numerous varieties. Tomato ladders are the best support I have ever used. I do wish they made taller ones as several of my plants go a few feet higher than the ladders and I have to drive rebar into the ground for extra support.
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
These tomato ladders are sturdy enough to last a lifetime and are tall enough to support indeterminate varieties. They don't take up much space in storage, either. A plus!
Comments about Tomato Ladders, Set of 3:
I already have the Rainbow Spiral Supports (2 sets) in my largest perennial garden. I get positive coments on their adding color and interest to the garden. Many of my friends have asked where I got them. They are all so interested because of the usefulness for my vines, etc. and also because of the artistic touch they add to the garden. I had some fasing on the red ones, but that was taken care of immediately when I called your company. I love the! The tomato supports will add color and interest as well as usefulness to the vbegetable garden. I cannot wait to use them!

This is the second set I have purchased - My Mother took some of the first set so I needed more. I have used these tomato ladders for 5 years now and just love them. Unlike the wire cages, these really hold up to the weight of a heavy tomato yeld season after season after season. I'm trying the shorter ones for peppers this year too.
