The cages are wonderful for my tomatoes and large dahlias! They store easily and they are a must-have for any garden.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Came back and bought 4 more. Can use these not only for tomatoes but peppers, cucumbers, and snap peas. Very sturdy and easy to install. Easily stack on top of each other for tall plants. Look good too.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I already had 8 but needed more. I was frustrated with the circular tomato cages, not high enough and too flimsy. Easy to fold and store for next year.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
These tomato cages are great. They support the plants well and it is easier to reach in and pick the tomatoes. I didn't use any ground stakes and they blew over in heavy wind. I will definitely use stakes next year. They store easily and take up very little space. I would buy more of these for next year's garden.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
These cages are good for all types of garden plants besides tomatoes. Cucumber and small squash also work well with these.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
These tomato cages are great. Nice and sturdy, square so you don't need as much garden tape to hold up the plants, lots of places on all four sides to support the veggies and fruit as they grow. Best of all instead of all the space big old cumbersome tomato supports take, these hang in the potting shed flat against the wall for next year.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
for tomatoes
Comments about Tomato Cages:
These tomato cages are the best I have ever used. I'm presently buying more of them. I have 4 cucumber plants growing on each side of one of these cages and it is growing so tall that I will stack another cage on top for plant support. They are easy to install, very sturdy, and the best part is that they fold flat for easy garage storage.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
The long legs are wind resistant in a windy location.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I'm just beginning to grow tomatoes for the first time but have grown up with many gardeners for whom tomatoes are a second nature. Any of them would kill to have this set of cages
Comments about Tomato Cages:
This product is so easy to install. I live in a very rocky area but had no difficulty getting all four ends in the ground. It is very sturdy.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I love the stacking idea and will be using them for tomatos, stringbeans, cukes, and winter squash. Also they are holding up so much better then the tomato cages I am replacing. I have tried many different types, and these are the best so far. Thanks!
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Out will go the old-style tomato baskets. These are the best for all above-ground vine plants.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
need to stack at least 2 cages for tomato plants.
No need to tie plants.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
The cages are too small for healthy tomato plants as they continue to grow, but they are sturdy and durable.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
this support system is easy to handle and is strong enough to hold large, rampant growth.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I use these for my tomatoes. Best cages ever - sturdy, attractive and easy to store
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I not only use for tomatoes but peppers, eggplant and as a trellis for growing peas and cukes.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
This year I planted our usual 14 tomato plants, then found four new varieties we wanted to try. I bought cages for them from our local (very good) nursery. When we got home and attempted to get them around the new plants they were wimpy, ungainly, awkward to handle and of poor quality. Took them back and immediately ordered 4 new ones from Gardener's Supply. Thanks ! xox
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I'm using these tomato cages for the first time, after using other tomato supports before. These are the best I've used.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
we used them this late in the season to support new plants.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
These worked great for my small tomato patch. It's my first time using cages and I found them to live up to the hype. My tomato plants are happy!
Comments about Tomato Cages:
So easy, even if you never gardened before. Super sturdy. Holds up even in severe thunderstorms and keeps the tomato plants upright. After one bad storm, my tomato plants didn't bend and my neighbors wanted to know where they could get them. Double stack them for those tall tomato plants and still so easy to get to the fruit. If you have tomatoes, you have to get these cages!
Comments about Tomato Cages:
These tomato cages are the best. I have some like these that my parents had 40 years ago and I was glad to find similar ones. They are roomy, sturdy and easily stored.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Happy with product but wish it heavier gage..
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Best cages I have ever used. They support the tomato plants without any extra supports. Kept my Sweet 100 plant contained enough that I can walk around it and pick easily. And it did not fall over from the weight of the plant! I love the way it folds for storage.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I love this tomato cage. I only wish it opened so you could wrap it around the plant if it's grown too large.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I recently ordered tomato cages and was not surprised at the quality of these new toys. I will not use them this year as I ordered too late and my tomatoes were already comfortable in their towers. I know I will love them because I will not miss staking! Can't wait til next year.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Very strong and stable
I did plant determinate plants with these cages, but they were a bit too short when used as an individual cage. I may need to try stacking
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Great support for tomatoes, eggplants and I even used one to reign in a sprawling Dahlia! I plan on purchasing more.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Very roomy. Lots of room for tomatoes and large openings make care and harvesting a breeze.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
we needed a frame for an outdoor insect cage but the size was to large for our cage skins----it is a great cage with a heavy wire gauge in construction also the folding idea is great for storage.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I have stacked them two-high. My tomato plants are
growing out the top.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
We have used sturdy stakes for 20 years, which entails tying up the plants as they increase in height. These cages save that extra labour, keeping them very tidy and accessible. We had a problem with deer eating the plants at the beginning of the season, but they no longer go there. I'm thinking they don't want to mess with the metal structure.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
When inserting into ground some of the solder joints broke. One cage was missing "pieces". The value for the expense was poor.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Very easy to set up.
Definitely need additional supports once plant get quite tall if windy.
Has sharp edges which can tear clothes if one is not careful
Comments about Tomato Cages:
They are perfcet, sturdy, and make the garden look sooo much better.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Keeps plants contained and growing upward, fruit stays off the ground.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
We use these to support tomato plants, and our plants are healthier and never need staking or tying! The cages are durable, and I still have the first ones I bought years ago, and have added more each year. They may seem a bit pricey, but they will last far longer than anything you might find elsewhere and will make it up in durability and functionality.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
The tomato cages are great for keeping tomato plants contained. They are also great to keep animals away from the plants!
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Stacked two cages on top of each other and should probably order more to make stacks of three. Easily stackable by wiring them together.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
The tomato cages have held up to strong winds and downpours which we have had this summer. My tomato plants are heavy, and the cages have not fallen over or needed staking.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Tomato Cages are very strong and they won't rust.
The cages I orginally ordered many, many years ago are still in great shape. I've expanded my garden, so I ordered more!
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I purchased a set 2 years ago and am going to order another set. I will not purchase the cone shaped cages anymore. Nieghbors that are avid gardners as well, ask where they can purchase these. Glad you came up with this product.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
These are heavy weight & roomy. Effortless assembly & easy flat storage. Love 'em!
Comments about Tomato Cages:
This fits over the red plastic tomato starters perfectly.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I am growing various strains of tomato and these cages hold up the heaviest variety.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I bought some last year and was impressed with them, bought more this year.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I put them around my peonies when they first appear in the spring. They have to go in early before I risk damaging any growth.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
These are my favorite cages. I use them in my deck pots and veggie garden from first transplant until fall. In spring I wrap fabric around the cage to protect the transplant from cool nights and wind. In fall I again wrap fabric around to protect the plants and fruit/vegetable from cold and/or frost.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
These tomato cages are great. I've been using them for years. My brother liked mine so well he had me order some for him. He's throwing out his small flimsy cages and replacing them with these cages.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
It pops right open and folds up easily for storage
Comments about Tomato Cages:
We use the cages for pepper and eggplants as well as tomatos.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Cages are way better than cones to provide support to tomatoes. My cones tip over when the tomatoes become tall and heavy, but not the cages.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I was directed to this product and saw how it was working and loved it.. I not only ordered one set after I got the first set I had to order more and now own 5 sets and plan on getting more for the next season. I have found several uses for this cages.. not only tomatos but tall flowers as well. I will surely find more uses as the season goes on.
Thank you so much for such a great product.

Comments about Tomato Cages:
I had one set of these from years ago that are still going strong. Then went to a garden center and bought some that were much lighter in weight and harder to store. I gave those away the next year and ordered more. You can not beat the wire weight of these and the ease of use and storage. And they will last for years.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
These are great, very easy to put together, very sturdy -- they did cost more that the junk I got at the garden center but I'm throwing all those away and buying more of these tomato cages for next year.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Use this as it is described for tomato plants. Much sturdier than other such products.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I purchased these to go in my self-watering containers on my deck. They were recommend as "you might also be interested in..." on the self-watering container page here at Gardener Supply. As others have pointed out, the cages are not very tall, which is a problem for particularly wild tomato varieties, but I could live with that. What was I wasn't expecting was how narrow the cages are, tiny squares instead of roomy rectangles. (Note to self: use a tape measure to gauge size BEFORE ordering!) They fill a little over a half of the large rectangular self-watering containers.
The spot welds aren't all that great, either. I tested them all, and they seem sturdy enough this year, but I suspect I'll be fixing them in a year or two.
All in all, a decent enough product, but I would like to see them be wider, as well as taller.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
[...] I was immediately supirsed by thier light weight and flimsy feel. [...]Once in the ground around a young tomato plant they work great, supporting even a large tomato plant with no problem. However, when my tomatoes got blighted and I had to remove the cages to pull out and disgard the tomatoes, three out of four cages bent and two of those broke at the indequate weld joints.Note: You do have to be careful not to bend or cause them to snap apart when pushing them into the soil initially. All in all, I was disapointed with the quality and poor construction of the cages and next year I will be looking for a stronger, better built replacement.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
The only complaint I have is that I didn't buy enough the first time I ordered! I have used the first set for two seasons. They stored well. We hang them after collapsing them.
So many friends have commented on my healthy tomato plants in these cages.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Finally a tomato cage that can handle tomatos! I bought more immediately. They fold neatly for storage and keep the garden looking tidy.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I use tomato cages to corral my dahlias. They also come in handy for preparing roses for the winter, as you can put several layers of material (mulch, manure, straw, etc.) within the cage without risk of it blowing away. The product is very well made and sturdy.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
These tomato cages are so much better than the round ones I used to use. They hold up from year to year, and store easily. I only had 8 of them from last year, so I had to get 8 more this summer. They work well for any vining plant that you need to keep the fruit off the ground. You can even plant peas around the outside of the cage to save space. When I store them next time, I will only collapse them, not completely fold them up because it can be tricky to get them opened up again.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I actually ended up using this cage to let my peas grow up and around!
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I am very pleased with my new Tomato cages. They are stong and provide great support. Best of all I like how easy they fold up for storage to be used next year. A good investment in my favorite hobby.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Easy to move around rocks in the ground
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Bought a set last year, and needed to add on.
Love them!
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Great product; really helps support and seperate the plant branches.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
A wonderful item - so sturdy and attractive - does a super job with my Heirloom tomatoes that grow quite large and heavy. The BEST tomato support I have found and NOT available locally even in hardware stores. Fortunately my neighbor found these at Gardeners Supply and gave me the website. Thanks so much ! ! ! [...]
Comments about Tomato Cages:
These cages were so easy to set up and store away when the season ends. The most functional tomato cages I have seen. Also, the square shape is nicer than the traditional round because it fits in garden rows better
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Using on our tomato plants, I love how it provides support all the way up the plant
Store bought cages are round and dont support the lower-middle stems.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Good product. First time user. Will probably buy more next season
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I used these tomato cages for the first time this year and I was very impressed. We have very high winds and they withstood them much better than anything else I have tried in the past. One of the other great features is they fold up flat so they are very easy to store.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I've used many different types of wire cages and never have I found one this sturdy. Easy to assemble and has two insertion per side so it's not going to tip over. I have never found a cage that grows as tall as my plants so my 'short' comment is not to be taken as compared to other products. It will likely be used in my garden for the next 10+ years.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
These are absolutely the best tomato cages I have ever used. They are strong and expandable. The cages are easily supporting huge tomato and tomatillo plants bearing large amounts of fruit. I hope they last for many years to come.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
It was exactly what we needed to keep our tomatoes off the gound in very rocky soil
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Where we live we mostly have to grow tomatoes in pots. These cages work perfectly in an 18" pot. Of course they would be just as effective in the ground.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I love these tomatoe cages. They are easy to
put over the plant due to their shape. They fold flat for easy and space saving storage.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I love the product but I wish the opening was larger, I think it has cramped my tomato plants a little.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I'm very pleased with these cages. It would seem that I should be able to store these easily as they fold flat and they ought to last indefinitely since they are so sturdy. They are also actually large enough to support the plants. I will look to buy more over time.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I have scoured nurseries and elsewhere for good tomato supports and have purchased different kinds; these are the best by far; sturdy, well connected, and easy to set up.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
We are using it in a square pot to support our tomatoes and it is the perfect size and works great! Came in box folded and was difficult to get apart, but very sturdy.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I stack these 3 or 4 high. My plants get to 12 ft tall.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Use with small plants to give support and protection.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
For years I have used the traditional tomatoe baskets and fought their instablility every time. These are terrific. Easy to set up and give GREAT support to tall, heavy plants.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
In my 50+ years of Gardening, I have used every imaginable product and method to cage tomatoes. These cages are by far the best product of its kind I have ever found. These cages work equally well from the determinate tomatoes, peppers, eggplant and other shorter plants. I use the GS tomatoe Towers-Set of 2 from the taller tomato plants.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
The tomato cages are very sturdy and are very helpful with heavy tomato plants
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Product was just what I wanted and needed. It supports my tomato plants without falling over once the plants are loaded with fruit. Very easy assembly and storage.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I'm a first time tomato gardner - My grandchildren & I each planted tomato's in a race to see who could produce the 1st tomato. Once they got going, the plants began leaning with the weight of the tomato's, I saw these & they are perfect! The cages hold up the plants & they look so neat & tidy in the yard! Came folded flat & popped right open for easy use & storage! Can't get any easier than this! Thanks for a great product!
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Best product on the market for tomatoes
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I use the tomato cages to keep my garden neat and easy to walk through. I am an amputee and don't tiptoe through the stems very well if they are laying on the ground. I keep ordering more for myself and family.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I am trying 2 things with these cages
1- to prevent the rust at the ends, I have painted the bottom 8 to 10 inches - will have to see if this helps
2- when I need a taller cage - I am attaching a second one on top of the first with plastic "pull ties"
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I keep finding places to use these and buying more. Strong enough to hold up berry bushes, climbing roses. They stack too. I use netting around them to make protective cages from the deer. Love that I can fold them up and store them in the winter. Take up so little space.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I have tried others, and there is no comparison, these are the best!
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Small amount of rust on cage in places where it had been scratched or rubbed in [...] Otherwise nice cage. Like that it folds up. Very sturdy wire holds a large harvest.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I've tried soooo many tomato cages over the years and will look no further. These are very sturdy and have some sort of spring mechanism so that they fold up flat for storage. The square shape provides plenty of room for even the bushiest plants. I highly recommend these!
Comments about Tomato Cages:
The description in the catalog is very accurate. These heavy-duty tomato cages are durable as they hold up year after year of use resisting rusting and bending. They are great for multi season use as they fold away flat for storing. Most importantly, these cages hold up full grown plants and keep them sturdy. I like them so well that I've given them to my father on Father's Day.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Love the durability with these cages, not flimsy like others I've tried. Folds flat when not in use. They stack on top of each other nicely in the garden too for taller plants. Wish they were a couple inches wider for bushier tomatoes. Thrown all my cheaper brand cages away. Worth the money.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
We now have Cucumbers that are vining up our tomato cages.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
First year in use, and they are standing strong during what has been a very windy summer,so far. I didn't give 5 stars only because they haven't gone through the whole season yet. There's no reason to believe they won't be a 5-star product, tho!
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I use them for supporting my tomato plants all of which are indeterminate. My only complaint is that they tend to snag my clothes as I work near them. However, they are well-constructed and useful.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
In my raised beds to keep my plants caged, so as not to spread over the beds. Helps to keep my vegies off the ground. I have had the ones you get in the local shops and they are lousy. I might even order some for my son-in-law for his 20 acres.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Have had some of these for at least seven years. I like the fact that they fold flat for storage.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
They are easy to combine (one on top of the other) and only require two to four small zip ties to keep them together to support tomato plant growth throughout season.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Love these tomato cages as they really hold up for years and years and store flat. Sturdy and allow ease of picking as it allows the plants to grow up and requires less stretching and bending. Great for people with back issues.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
This is one of the best products on the market for the square foot gardener. I have always had problems getting water to the roots. These self-watering pots do just that. This is my 2nd set and I plant everything in them; tomatoes, beans, cucumbers, squash, whatever.
I used tie wraps on the cage. I found this easier than the snap together clips that came with the kit.
I do not like the new pot design. My first set of pots had a hole at the bottom and it was easy to put the water hose in the hole and fill the pot until the water overflowed throught the hole. These pots have a tube for adding water and I find if difficult to know when the resevoir is full. I do not feel that his design is a plus to these pots.
I also didn't realize that I needed to pull off the tip of the peaks in the resevoir to allow water to drain. One pot is set up correctly and the 2nd is not. I was also confused about the float system. It fell apart in my hands and once I figured out the 2nd pot, I realized my mistakes with the first pot.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I have the extended tower version - for my Earthboxes...I've staked them in a diamond pattern. My tomatoes are supported from the wind and should have plenty of growing room vertically. I will mention that four hands are better than two if you have established plants. I should have bought these sooner. These are VERY well made -- can't imagine them falling apart on the way to the garden as another mentioned, since these are the best tomato support I can find on the market...Try one--I highly recommend them. I will buy several more for next year.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I bought four tomato cages for a father's day gift. He loved it! The description about the cages were correct. The cages were heavy duty and well constructed. They will support more weight than the traditional tomato cages. My dad also liked the height of the cages. Thanks for a great product!
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I use my tomato cages in the 3 EarthBox containers gardens on the deck as well as in the raised beds for tomatoes, cucumbers and summer squash. I currently have one placed in a diamond shape (not opened fully to a square) at the very end of one of the raised beds and will be training some butternut squash to climb up the cage to keep the squash off from the ground. As I am short on gardening space, I tend to crowd in as many different vegetables in my gardens as I can. 99% of the tomato cages and bean cages are opened up into squares.
I also have two of the tall bean cages that I use to grow my Kentucky Wonder Pole Green Beans and KW Wax Beans on. The cages are so much better than using poles cut from small trees in the woods and last much longer. They are also very attractive in the garden when covered with the bean foliage and blossoms. Picking the beans from them is made much easier too. The cages are easy to store in my gardening room in the barn. They fold up flat and I hang them up on hooks on the walls along with tomato cages and rings that support the tall flowers in my gardens. I highly recommend them to all gardeners.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
This is an excellent product. The wire is of a reasonable weight, the "feet" at the bottom are long enough to provide stability, and they fold nicely. The width is perfect. The height is acceptable, but another foot would have been nice.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Held up great last season so I bought more this year.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
will make picking tomatoes easy
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Easy to install, attractive in the garden, won't tip over when the plants are full grown.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Use these in your vegetable garden for tomatoes or in your flower garden to support large, bushy dahlias. Easy to install and they will last for many seasons. A good, solid investment.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
These are the best cages we have ever had. They will last a long time, easy to use and store. I use them for anything that needs support. Also try the cold frame (You'll never use another one) and that little scooter. It can be adjusted to my height and is beautifully made. Another great addition to our supplies. Thanks for continuing to have great products, Francene
Comments about Tomato Cages:
once i go thtem unhinged it was great-but on a couple of them I literally had ot use a crow bar and hammer to get them apart. [...] took me 15 minutes ot get one of them apart! others were fine and just popped open with a strong tug.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Nice size for one large tomato plants. Plants seem to climb easily. [...] No complaints.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
This is our first year for planting LOTS of tomatoes (44 plants). These cages set up easily. [...] Cages lie flat which will be great for winter storage. MUCH heavier gauge wire than other tomato cages we looked at. A little more money than other cages but you are getting a much better quality product.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I've used these in both urban and country gardens, and they are functional, versatile and sturdy, lending an air of tidiness at the beginning and end of the season. They fold flat and, tied with a bit of twine, are compact and easy to store. The ones I bought 5 years ago continue to function as well as the 4 I bought this year. These are the foundational structure of my raised beds!
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Product is easy to use and accomplish the task desired. Good not only for tomatoes but other plants in the garden and yard. More than enough room within the cage to allow the plant to grow without creating problems for it. Storage is very easy. Have recommended the product to several friends.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
THESE TOMATO CAGES ARE GREAT. I LOVE THE FACT THAT THEY FOLD UP FOR EASY STORAGE. THEY ARE STRONGER THAN THE ROUND TOMATO CAGES AND HAVE BETTER SUPPORT. THESE ARE GOING TO BE MY FAVORITE FOR YEARS TO COME. THANKS
Comments about Tomato Cages:
The best and most sturdy cages available
Comments about Tomato Cages:
This cage is great! It keeps the deer away from my tomato plants when small, is great for the climbing vine, and it is very easy to set up and stores flat. It is also great for pumpkin vines!
Comments about Tomato Cages:
These are strong enough to hold up to very fully laden tomato plants, they fold flat for storage, and last for years. I'm still happy with my old ones -- just needed more!
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I've had a few of these cages for 7+ years and they still look/work good as new. They are the sturdiest metal cages I have seen for home gardens and I appreciate that they are collapsable for winter storage. They can handle heavy loads. The only cages I've liked better are wooden and bamboo ones I've built myself, especially in terms of appearance. But really, it doesn't get much better than these. They are my standard go-to's.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
These cages are great. Very sturdy. The ease of use and the easy fold up at the end of the season for storage is fantastic. I made two cages myself from concrete wire fencing before I discovered these cages. I will not be making anymore of those.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Much easier to use/store than traditional round tomato cages. One of about a dozen warped and bent some when it was folded for storage. It's still quite usable. Once the tomato plant reaches full size, it's not noticeable. Also -- use care when unfolding. They can pop open suddenly and it's easy to get scraped by the raw ends of the wire toggles.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
These tomato cages are much MUCH better than those that you buy at a local hardware store. These will last many, many seasons. Worth every penny.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
These cages will last a lifetime. They will not bend or warp supporting large tomato plants. top quality!
Comments about Tomato Cages:
It's almost July and, so far, these tomato cages are very adequate. They are study and seem large enough to contain the plants and keep them fairly upright. Have had a lot of windy days without any problems; the cages remained in place and provided good support for the plants. I think they will work well once the plants bear fruit.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Tomato support
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Very good product. Plenty of room for tomato plant to spread out.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Easy to use and very sturdy
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Every year my husband plants about 4 kinds of tomatoes and when they all are fully grown, I can't walk in garden because they spread so much. Probably the best investment I have made for our small garden and they fold flat for storage. L. deAngelis
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I've used these cages for years, and have been very satisfied with their strength and durability. They beat any other support system that I've tried with tomatoes. They are also very easy to store during the winter.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
These tomato cages are so much easier to use than the cone-shaped variety.
They are more stable and strong.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I will not plant my tomatoes without them. This year I put in 30 plants and had to get 4 more cages to cover them all. Also used the red fabric mulch sheets. It's the only way to go. What a combo!
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I have grown tomates and a few other veggies for over 25 years. These Square cages are much stronger, sturdy and better looking than the round ones.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
it works!
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I looked at our local stores, but found the one I purchased from Gardners to be the best quality. I know I'll be able to use it for years!
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Tomatoe cages are Lightweight, store easily, keep fruit off ground, and are easier than stakes and ties. They rust, so don't last forever, but are good for at least five seasons.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Last year the tomato plants I had in large pots overgrew the bamboo stakes. So I tried these this year. In addition to using it as a four sided box, you can take one side off and make a triangle for a pot that is not wide enough for all four sides. Stores well (flat). I bought some for a friend who has a huge garden.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Product is easy to set up.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Very good , just overpriced
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I used these cages for forty-one tomatoes plants this year. They have stood-up great during all the spring rain we have had in the Piedmont of NC. Some other cages I purchased this year fell down from the weight of tomatoes during this same period. I would recommend this product to anyone.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I had bought others from you and was very satisfied - needed one more. It's easy to use and large enough to fit around even a tomato that grew overnight on you, unlike those round things that everyone sells in garden shops.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Used to support tomato plants. The design of the cage is too open and not enough support for the plant branches. My home-made cage actually works better.

I use them for tomato cages. They are easy to store, easy to carry to the garden, easy to set up and big enough, sturdy enough to hold up the plants.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
These tomato cages are great. Sturdy & well made, great size, easy to use.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Very nice cages. Look great in the garden. Hole large enough to hang tomatoes and vines on. I expect that these will weather well also.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
The cages are big, easy to set up, and very sturdy. They will out perform the round cages I have.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Best tomato cage I've used so far. Very sturdy with a number of support bars, unlike round cages.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Just set it up and let the tomatoes grow, easy storing.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Keeps the tomato plant contained. Serves it purpose well.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I just obtained these cages this spring and after having used several different types of tomato cages previously, I must say these are superior so far. They seem quite sturdy, are easy to set up and I LOVE how they fold up for easy storage. It is also very nice to have the option of stacking another cage on top to give extra support for those extra-tall plants.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Best tomato cage I have found to date; reasonably priced
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Perfect support for my tomatoes.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Very nice, sturdy, well constructed tomato cages. Should last many seasons. Our tomato plants are still in the toddler stage - have a ways to go before they need the support of the cages.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
These cages are heavy duty and do a great job of holding up the tomato plants.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Just got these - they seem like they will support a big tomato plant without any trouble. They fold for easy storage.

Comments about Tomato Cages:
Great to hold up heavy tomatoes but a bit awkward to store - it's best to hang them on the wall of the shed.

Bought them for my 80 year old Italian father who prizes his tomato plants almost as much as his grandchildren. This will make his tomato production even better - more for him to give away to family & friends!

Comments about Tomato Cages:
Simple to set up and sturdy. The common conical shaped tomato supports always bend and warp. Not these. Looks like these will last a good long time, folding flat for storage each year[...]- after some tomatoes were already desperately in need of the supports.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I purchased six of these cages almost 20 years ago. The new order's quality seems a bit lacking. The new cages are not as heavy-duty as the cages from 20 years ago.
My use is for tomatoes.

Comments about Tomato Cages:
These cages are great. They surpass my expectations to the cone shaped ones. I tie flag ribbon on the sides to keep out the deer and bunnies. The bunnies ate 1/2 of my plants that were not in these cages. I am planning on buying more for my garden.

Comments about Tomato Cages:
the tomato cages can really hold a large tomato plant with lots of tomatoes. I have had these cages before and they do rust over time but still work well after 3 years.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
It's about time! It's great to have a sturdy tomato cage that can hold the weight. We live in a windy site and it's very difficult to keep top heavy plants from blowing over. The square design really holds plants in place. Also, the idea that they fold flat for storage is terrific. The 'old' cages didn't store well...too much opportunity for injury. Thanks for this great product!
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Easy storeage & setup
Comments about Tomato Cages:
These tomato cages have helped me organize my raised beds. They give me the right spacing around each plant. Making the garden look more organized. I can not wait until I am able to harvest this years crop.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Very easy to assemble. Very easy to disassemble and store. Sturdy
Comments about Tomato Cages:
We purchased one last year and it was late in the season, so the cherry tomato plants were hard to get in the cage, but this year we ordered another one and put the cages in right after planting the cherry and grape tomato plants. So far so good. I like knowing that the plants are all inside and won't fall over come August. We finally feel we got a handle on this years garden. Will keep you posted on the end results.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Made much better than the cheap cone shaped ones you get at retail stores. Bought 8 and plan on buying more next season. Perfect for tomatoes and peppers.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
These cages work great. The old cone shaped cages I had were flimsy, difficult to store and not tall enough or strong enough. I have used these cages for tomatoes and to contain climbing cucumbers as well. I haven't found anything that works as well in any of my favorite gardening stores. Try um, you'll like um!
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Very good idea. Works great with the extension for tomato plants and I plan to use them on my Blue Lake bush beans next year, wish they were cheeper though
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I purchased these for myself and my daughter. So far we both like them. I will reserve final judgement until they become laden with tomatoes.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I use this product in half barrel planters. They are easy to use and provide excellent support while allowing access to the plants for care.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
No more tomatoes on the ground.
Sturdy and as attractive as a tomato cage is going to get.
I can't wait to see the ones for cucumbers and beans!
Comments about Tomato Cages:
These cages are strong and support my tomatoes well. I love that they fold flat for storage. After the growing season, I stack them and use them as a support for tall Halloween displays!
Comments about Tomato Cages:
AFTER OVER 30 YEARS OF GROWING TOMATOES I FINALLY FOUND THE BEST TOMATO CAGE I HAVE EVER USED. NO TILTING; NO STAKING UP; NO FALLING OVER.
I AM SO HAPPY WITH THIS PRODUCT.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
These are the tallest, most heavy-duty, most attractive tomato supports I have ever seen. I bought some last year and bought some more this year. I have recommended these to several friends already. The fact that they can be folded for storage is the icing on the cake.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I first bought these tomato cages three years ago.
They fold flat and I store them in the shed over the Winter. They are still just as clean and sturdy as they were when I bought them. I have also stacked them two high and they supported 8 ft high tomato plants perfectly.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I am using these for tomato and pepper plants in my garden. I appreciate the easy fold flat design and heavy duty construction that should last me many seasons. They also went into the ground easy so that is cool too.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Set of 4 is a great deal. Very easy to use, just unfold and put in the ground. My tomatoes are loving the sturdy support.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I use eight of the cages in a small space ,two rows of four.

Comments about Tomato Cages:
These tomato cages are easy to set up and store for the next garden season, they are not to flimsy like some I have used in the past.I just love them and they are reasonabley priced.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I bought these tomato cages to use in our raised bed tomato garden that we put on our deck. The cages are great! Very sturdy. I have no concerns that they will stand up to all kinds of weather and continue to support the tomato vines. I would definitly recommend this product to a friend.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I love the cages as they are sturdy, attractive, and easy to store for the winter.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Surround your plants and keep the vegies off the ground
Comments about Tomato Cages:
This is the best ever! Very easy to set up or store.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I ordered 4 of these cages and 2 broke on the way to the garden. In fact the spot welds (or whatever holds the horizontal and vertical pieces together, came apart in my hands on one cage and the pieces fell on the ground like a house of cards. Please don't spend[$] each on these.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
One of the things I liked most was how easily they assembled. They are sturdy, and do exactly what they advertised.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
These cages are very sturdy and well constructed. I was concerned when I didn't see instructions, but you just wiggle them a little and they open right up into the shape they are supposed to be. I would buy these again.

Comments about Tomato Cages:
These tomato cages are so easy to use! And they can be stored for many years of productive use.
In addition to tomatoes, several cages in a row can provide good climbing space for vines like cucumbers or gourds. After the gardening season is over, they can be used to keep male deer away from slender young trees as they try to scape the velvet from their antlers. I often use older cages to protest young trees from weed-eater damage at the base.
When collapsed, they keep well in a garage or storage shed and can be re-used many times.
I wish the standard cages could be 10-11 inches taller; otherwise I think they are perfect.

Comments about Tomato Cages:
A delight to unfold and use--that's it! A pleasure to work with a piece of equipment so well thought out and designed! I planted my tomato plants, and caged them w/ some room in between. I acquired two more tomato plants, unexpectedly, and had no cages for them. My husband suggested planting those IN BETWEEN the cages and allow them to act as supports from the outside! This worked beautifully, in a pinch!!
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I grow tomatoes on my deck in planter boxes, and this product fits whatever shape I use. I would definitely buy more of these!
Comments about Tomato Cages:
It takes a second to set up, that's it~ Holds tomatos and peppers, even eggplants with great support!
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I really love these tomato cages! They are so easy and fast to set up and they don't fall over when the tomato plants are mature. The openings are large enough to easily get your hands in to pick the tomatoes near the center of the plant. I plan on adding more next year.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
We grow tomatoes in square pots. These cages fit the pots perfectly! Seem very sturdy. We have high hopes for these.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Contain tomatoes perfectly giving them plenty of room to grow and provide support. By keeping them enclosed in the cage I'm forced to produce only the amount of fruit that I will use. In addition, I can get to all the fruit as well as insure that there is good air flow through the plant
Comments about Tomato Cages:
solid and sturdy
Comments about Tomato Cages:
After planting and caging tha tomato plants I had, I aquired two more plants unexpectedly. I was out of cages. My husband suggested planting the extra tomato plants IN BETWEEN the cages and let them act as supports from the outside. It worked beautifully!! A great product.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
We bought this size and the tower size. I think the tower size is the way to go. Both are well-built, and fold flat without coming apart. I hope we will be using these for years to come.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I started a veg garden for my grands. They were very excited and have been patient new gardeners. The systems we used has work perfect for us and has keep things neat and clean.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
my tomatoes quickly filled up the first cage and it was easy to stack on a second cage. I would like a cage that is about 4-6 inches wider as my plant is rather crowded inside the cage. Love that it stores flat
Comments about Tomato Cages:
These are the best I've ever seen. Not just for tomatoes either. My husband has just told me to order 8 more. Thanks for another great product. Love that cold frame, too. Francene
Comments about Tomato Cages:
These are the biggest and strongest cages I've ever seen yet they collapse for storage. Wish I had bought 12 more.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
We are at a high elevation and the season is too short so we grow tomatoes in our greenhouse and put the cages up from the start. When they get big, the cages are perfect and we have tomatoes until Thanksgiving!
Comments about Tomato Cages:
We have mostly planted flowers in pots and in our many shrubbery beds in the past but decided to add tomato plants in available spaces among our flowers and shrubbery this year. The cages look very nice there and we are anticipating that they will do the job as far as holding up our plants as they grow larger. I like how they fold up which will make storage easy this winter.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
to hold up my vegtables
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I recently added 3 additional raised beds and bought more of these cages to accommodate my expanded garden space. Not only are they great for tomatoes, making care practically effortless, they also work great for beans, peas, and all other climbing plants. To store, I fold and stack them, then wrap them tightly with bungee cords.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I bought my first set of tomato cages more than 6 years ago and just bought 4 more this year. The older ones are in as good shape as the new ones. These things are sturdy! I can't imagine finding anything better.

Comments about Tomato Cages:
These tomato cages save so much garden space by containing my plants. They also save me from trying to balance and tip-toe through plants all over the ground. I started with 4 and have ordered more and given several away.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
It is very sturdy an folds up for easy storage.
I have purchased many of your products over the last twenty years or more and have always had complete satisfaction with all of them
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Sturdy and easy to use.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
The tomato cages are perfect for what they are designed for, but they are not made as well as they could/should be. I broke at least one or more welds on every cage (4) just in unpacking/opening them; I suspect that more will break during use. Disappointing as I had hoped to use them multiple times over a few years.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I use the product in a variety of ways and for many types of plants. For example: to cage and protect a young tree, to control tomato plants, for climbing cucumbers and pole beans.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
These tomato cages are the best ever. They don't rust, the hinges work year after year, and they're attractive in the garden -- a truly high quality product. Thanks Gardener's Supply
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Easy to use, store, and fits nicely into container as well as garden.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
These cages are easy to use with no assembly required, they fold flat for storing, are lightweight yet strong and attractive. I will buy more as I expand my garden.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
These cages are the best. They work better than any other product I've used. They are easy to set up, easy to tear down and they do the job!
Comments about Tomato Cages:
These Tomato Cages are the best we have ever used!
Bought the first two sets of cages in 2007 and they still work just like the day I received them. We added two more sets this year and they too work great. Highly recommended, 15 fine health tomatoes doing great thanks to these great cages.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
This sturdy and versatile tomato cage fits well in the containers that I use to grow tomatoes.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Sturdy cages, easy to set up, compact for storing
Comments about Tomato Cages:
These tomato cages are the best I've come across. They are extremely sturdy, easy to store in the winter (as they fold flat) and I really like the square design as opposed to the triagular you find in the stores. They survive the weather beautifully.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
The cages are just great and I have given them to my children as well as brother and sister.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I think this is a GREAT product. The uses are pretty versatile. Tomatoes, obviously. Also, climbing peas/beans or any other veggies. I would suggest a longer "leg" to push into the ground for more stability. I love the way it folds flat for storage. Fantastic! Can be stacked pretty sturdily also for taller plants.
This is well worth the money. Buy more than you think you'll use because you WILL use them! Whether with stacking or buying more tomatoes than you thought you would! You'll use them.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
These are a great idea. I have just put the tomato plants in so I am hoping they will hold up once the plant gets bigger. I like the way they fold up for easy storage also.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
The cages look like they'll last (time will tell). They were very easy to set up and install.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
little spendy but very sturdy
Comments about Tomato Cages:
The "legs" in the ground could be longer for more stability.
I like the square design and heavy duty material.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
These tomato cages are super sturdy and fold down quick for storage. Perfect
Comments about Tomato Cages:
These cages are sturdy and solid. I am hoping that once the tomato plants begin to grow it will actually look like the picture. I am very happy with this purchase.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
These cages are great; this year I've given them to my daughter-in-law as a gift. They kept my garden much tidier, with fewer tomato plants and fruit on the ground.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
So easy to install that my husband and I set them up in our vegetable garden one evening in the dark with a slight rain falling. It took less than 10 minutes---including the unwrapping.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I've used these cages on both my tomato and pepper plants with great success. The only issue I have with them is that sometimess when they arrive they are very difficult to open completely. They've held up very well in all weather conditions and were easy to insert into the ground.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
love its foldability/flexibility & perfect size for my garden tomatoes
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I have quite a few of the cages and towers - probably 30 or more. All of them are rusting at the ends - the towers are rusting at the ends and where the top and bottoms are put together. They are just not galvanized well enough.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I like them so much that I am now giving them to my grandson as gifts.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
These heavy gauge Tomato cages are truly perfect. I put them in my 30" deep, raised bed, organic vegetable garden to support my "Big Beef" heirloom tomato plants. When the season is finished, they will easily and simply collapse into a nice, compact, flat unit that is easily slid back into its' shipping carton and stored until next year. Have a good, heavy coat of galvanizing so I expect they will last for years.

Comments about Tomato Cages:
No more spending re-tieing everything through out the growing season, put them out when your planting starts and walk away. Probably the most wonderful thing since slice bread.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Very easy to set up and use.
Stores very well outside.
Tomatoes are easy to harvest.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Love the ease of use, and that they fold flat for storage. Will use these for years to come!
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Use in m yvegetable garden and in my daughter's condo patio garden.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Tomatoes haven't grown to the point of testing cage out completely. Like to look and hope it will replace other things I used in the past.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Since it is not quite growing season here yet, I cannot comment on this cages yet. I just transplanted some seedling into bigger pots indoors today so that they are ready for the garden in about 2 weeks (hopefully). In the past the tomatoes got so big that they needed support and the standard cone shaped cages didn't do the job. Hoping that these will.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Unpacked box and set up immediately on my already growing tomato plants. They slipped right down over the tiny cages that were already in use and successfully supported all of the vines. Appears that they will fold nicely as they came folded. Very sturdy.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
So far I like this tomato cage better than any that I have gotten in the past. However, my tomatoes haven't reached their full size yet. Curious to see how the cages do at peak harvest. Much better than the cages that come with the tomato success kits!
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I purchased 4 of these to use for my tomatoes, and plan to buy more. They are lightweight, but strong, and they fit neatly side by side in the garden. I can get so much more into my tiny space than before! And I love how they fold up flat for storeage.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
These are so much stronger than any I found in local stores. When you put them in the ground they stay where you put them. I found the round cages flimsy and then the wire would bend but not these.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I purchase more each year as supports for my dahlias, which grow up to 7 ft tall! I train them up through the cage wires and they support the large flower heads with no collapsing even with the weight involved. I have 48 of them now, and two are actually used for tomatoes! Thanks - a great item.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I love these cages -- they seem to be sturdy & of solid construction. I also love the fact that they fold flat for storage -- much better than those round cages from the local home improvement store!
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Although these cages are designed primarily for use in supporting tomatoes. They are also very handy for protecting young and small fruit trees. Or, another plant which you wish to be sheltered from household pets. I have had very good success in using these enclosures for safeguarding all types of plants and young trees.

Comments about Tomato Cages:
We have a garden that is totally in containers.
We just screwed them to the edges of the pot and added a ton of extra growing space.
It is perfect.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
These square cages are superior! Not only do they offer sturdy support to tomatoes, but they have worked with cucumbers, beans, and peppers. We love that they can be placed side to side to be more space efficient in the garden. We have also used them to protect rose bushes from our 3 frisky golden retreivers! And,we have used a cage in each garden bed for compost-we set up the cage, and then pull a large heavy-duty trash bag (cut open at the bottom)over it and then just dump in our kitchen scraps each day(vegetable and fruit peelings, coffee grounds, eggshells)all winter long. When spring comes,we pull off the trash bag, lift up the cage, and spread the organic matter in the garden bed.Definitely a garden must-have and the fold-up storage is a plus!
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Kansas storms occur all summer long and short, bushy tomatoes can get blown away without a cage. These are great for Sweet 100 cherry tomatoes or grape tomatoes that rarely get more than 3 feet tall but bush outward.

Comments about Tomato Cages:
I am only giving this product a 4 star rating, because this is April and my tomato plants are just now going into the ground. However,I am very optomistic about it's future performance when the plants reach maturity. All of the cages I tried in the past, were very disappointing.

Tomatoes are easy to harvest. Plants easy to trim. Cages easy to put up, take down and store. Great product.

Comments about Tomato Cages:
Used to give my tomatoe and pea plants support to keep them off the ground.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
They almost fit into the earthbox...I am able to get enough of the spikes into the soil...we'll see how they stand up to the winds here!
Comments about Tomato Cages:
These are much stronger than the usual circular tomato cages. The square size also fits better in a small garden
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I have not yet used these cages, but I like the design, sturdiness and quality already. I plan on putting plastic around the outside initially to protect the young tomato plants from the wind so they will serve as a plant protector too.

Comments about Tomato Cages:
I was getting tired of those cone-shaped wire tomato cages. They bent easily and were difficult to store. The tomato cages from Gardener's Supply are sturdy and fold down into an easy-to-store flat shape.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
As I am not able to have a big garden anymore I place this in a rocked area close to the house and I am able to plant things. I hope to purchase more as I can.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
good sturdy, heavy duty tomato cages with space to access plants and tomatos. too early in season to use yet, but expect them to work great this summer.

Comments about Tomato Cages:
These cages were good for growing tomatoes bue it would have been better had they been somewhat taller. As the plants continued to grow, they ended up growing over the top and outward which is what I want to avoid with cages. They are plenty sturdy enough and generally easy to pick tomatoes from.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
very attractive way to support my tomatoes
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Great to store and openings are just right for picking mats.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
These are sturdy, durable cages that succeed in holding up our tomatoes, dahlias and other tall flowering plants. My dahlias had a habit of knocking down their stakes or breaking at the ties, and the cages hold them upright all summer, even in full flower. The cages are well designed, disappear from sight in foliage, and fold up for compact winter storage. I've purchased them several times, even as a Christmas gift for a gardening in-law.

Comments about Tomato Cages:
These cages are constructed of just the right mil wire size to be sturdy, but also lightweight for ease of setup and storage. I've bought three other brands of tomato cages and they were either too flimsy, didn't have long enough stakes to push deeply into the soil, or were too cumbersome for storage. I even fabricated my own cages out of 4X2 galvanized steel fence wire, but none of these methods offer the easy extension capability of the Gardener's supply cages. Openings are just the right size for reaching through and plucking out the tomatoes as they ripen lower down on the plants. This was difficult to do with other cages I've bought. A few friends told me this past summer "these are really nice tomato cages, much better than the cone cages. Where did you get them?"
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Suitable for the largest tomato plant....
Will support any size crop from the smallest to the largest (we all hope for the largest). Very well built, will last many seasons.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
As a senior citizen who refuses to give up gardening I am always looking for easier ways to grow more vegetables. Just bought my 3rd tomato cage. With the longer pins they survived strong coastal winds all last summer & the plants seemed to produce longer. Great product
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Winds off Seneca Lake wreak havoc on tomato plants in summer. These cages finally allowed me to have plants that are off the ground and grow more fruit.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
a friend gave me one of these this spring. I wish I had had 6 more instead of the old round supports which topple with heavy fruit laden plants.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I bought 4 tomato cages at the beginning of the gardening season. They worked great. The cages were easy to set up and supported the vines. The tomatoes did not become buggy.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I used these cages alongside the traditional "cone-shaped" tomato cages. The square shape was much more sturdy and stable over the entire summer (despite winds up to 40 mph).
Comments about Tomato Cages:
My first tomato plant was grown on a narrower support but the plant ended up needing lots of extra support. These cages provided a wider support and were sufficient to get the plants through the season.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
So sturdy that I didn't have to pick up the cage and reset it in the ground as I always did with the cone variety.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I bought these tomato cages for myself in May and liked them so well that I gave my brother-in-law eight for his birthday. They are sturdy, nice looking in the garden, and store easily.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
The tomato cages support your growing tomato plant and you can easily store after the season is over.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
I have used the same cages for over 10 years and altho they do show a bit of rust on the bottom, they still work great. I just bought a few more to update my collection!
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Great tomato cages that are very sturdy
Comments about Tomato Cages:
Was happily surprised at the strength of the cages. No flimsiness. I live in a part of the country that has 2 growing seasons. The cages are doing a beautiful job of holding up a plant that will purportedly produce tomatoes weighing up to 6 pounds each.
I am confident the cages can support that size fruit. Love the fact that the cages fold for storage.
Good product.
Comments about Tomato Cages:
This is a repeat purchase as I usually try something first before going more into it. I've found this is definitely a plus up here by the Canadian border in MN where the north wind blows and will be getting more. They're definitely easier for me to store than the circular cages. The only con I found to the cages is that they don't set themselves out in the spring and put themselves away in the fall.
