I found that it did not fit in the APS 12 kit that I ordered. There was no room for it in the end of the tray - no space has been made for it. I was rather disappointed. Happy that the water level was easy to see anyway. Have had other water gauges from Gardeners that worked well. I would not recommend this one for the APS12 system.

I used this with my APS kits and I never had a problem with rewatering. It tells you when, all you have to do is check the gauge and fill up when needed! A no-brainer & a helper when caring for seedlings.

Used the guage with the seeding kit . Excellent product. The first time using and the plants grew strong and had a great root system. The combination of grow light, seeding kit and germination mix from Gardener Supply the plants were great. I don't think I wil ever purchase purchase vegetable plants from a store again. Thanks

These should be included with the APS System, because you really can't live without them. You can see the water level at a glance, so you don't need to invent some kind of dipstick for checking the water in your tray. When I use a fan to blow on my seedlings it makes the water evaporate very quickly, so these gauges are essential to keeping the soil moist.

The Water Level Guage is great to tell when your new seedlings in seed trays need more water. You can tell at a glance how much water is in the resevoir. Before filling the resevoir give the guage a thump on the side with your finger because sometimes the guage gets stuck to the side and won't show how much water you are adding.
