Comments about Early Girl Tomato Plants, Set of 2:

First time "Tomatoe Kit" user. Ordered the Early Girl tomatoe plants because they were recomended for the Kits. Description said "COMPACT" plants. Plants were expense compared to local garden centers, etc.but quality of Gardner's always great so I ordered. The plants are definately NOT compact. Already above the cage w/ extension and continuing to grow. Have not even flowered yet, much more growth expected. Looking forward to the tomatoes, but the plant is going to be much too much for my patio. Will need a suggestion for a "bush" tomatoe for next year.

Comments about Early Girl Tomato Plants, Set of 2:

Last year was my first experience growing tomatoes in a container. For the cost of the plants, Success Kit and trolley, I could have easily bought the most expensive tomatoes at the farmers market and still saved a lot of money. I had very few tomatoes on my 2 plants. To say I was disappointed is an understatement.
I will buy more plants this year and try again as I have all the equipment, but I will buy locally.

These tomato plants arrived in perfect shape and are well worth the price. They are the perfect match for the Tomato Success Kit. Just put two of these plants in a kit and you are well on your way to having a great crop. Each day they grow heathy, strong and tall. They have strong stems and great leaves. I highly recomend this product and am just waiting for my crop to grow.

On receiving the four Early Girl tomato plants I immediately planted them in my garden and within days they appeared very healthy and robust looking and now three weeks later has buds appearing already and it's only the first of June..
I will admit I had my doubts when I opened the package and found them wilted and bent over. But with some TLC they bounced right back..
