Comments about Colby's Wishing Star Lilac:

I am excited to see my Colby's wishing star lilac bloom this spring - just stunning color on very dense bush. It is still very small - about 1 foot, but already covered with blooms. I am happy that my garden can have lilac that is not going to be huge.[...]

Comments about Colby's Wishing Star Lilac:

I bought this plant because I simply love lillacs and wanted to grow one of my own to remind me of spring time in the Midwest. However, the package came [...] and the plant was crushed and looked dehydrated (wilted). I tried to revive the poor plant, but it is not doing well. I will have to get a refund on this plant.

Still no sign of a leaf bud after being in ground 3 weeks. It was shipped 4-30. I received 5-10 with dried up wilted leaves. Is it dead?

Comments about Colby's Wishing Star Lilac:

I have one of these beautiful, unique lilacs. It blooms in May, July and sometimes in September if you deadhead it after the blooms die off. I planted it in the front yard with other lilacs and I receive more wonderful comments about this one. Easy to maintain. It's so beautiful!
