I line the trays w/ pearock, then set my potted orchids & azaleas on them. The combination retains heat & moisture w/o causing root rot. It looks great, allows for good drainage and there's virtually no mess. My last set of trays lasted 4yrs. before succumbing to rust -in S. FL that's impressive!

Downgraded one star, because if the water is deep in the tray, it will leak. But overall I'm very happy to have these trays which hold pebbles, so the humidity can be kept up. I don't need little plant dishes for each pot anymore. My smaller pots don't fall over. They are great.

Unbelievably, I did not realize these came in a set of 3 so I was pleasantly surprised. I also did not realize they would be 1.5 inches too long for my baker's rack! But I was able to put one on the top shelf and another on a chest near a window in my office and still have another to go. I wanted them (it) to keep water from draining on the floor when I watered my plants, which had a mixture of saucers on the bottom. This looks much nicer and won't overflow. Great buy!

I've used these trays in connection with the terrace system from Gardner's. They work better than I could have expected. Upon first glance, I thought that they would never hold watter, as they appear to be simple sheet metal trays with seams at all the corners. A closer inspection revealed some type of caulking in all the inside corners which I can only assume is what attributes to their ability to retain water and not drip. I've filled each tray with heavy river stones and then topped them off with water. So far, I've used them for about a month, keeping them constantly filled with stones and water and have not yet had any problems with leaks. My only suggestion to Gardner's would be to offer a powder coated version in finishes that match the terrace finishes. That said, I have no complaints at all.

I placed my orchids collection on the trays in a window. I was able to keep them humidified by placing small stones and water in the trays. It makes a beautiful display.

I bought the trays in hopes they would fit an existing older plant terrace we had stored in the garage. Using the measurements provided here, I thought the fit would be close, so I crossed my fingers and bought the set. The three curved trays fit perfectly. They are utilitarian versus decorative, but I wanted something to catch the drainage water from my transplants and seed starts and that's exactly what it does - without any leaking!

I use the product to display houseplants and holiday plants during the Christmas season. The trays have prevented many spills on my hardwood floors. I also place decorative stones in the trays to help disguise the metal. I'm sure you could also use some moss to soften the look of the metal trays.

When I bring my plants inside in the fall having the Quarter Round Plant Stands with the Plant Terrace Trays is spectacular. I place the Quarter Round Plant stands on either side of my dining room bay window, insert the Plant Terrace Trays on each of the shelves, and arrange my plants. It is easy and practical. When I water the plants there are no spills on the carpet! Fantastic!!
