Using to defend my banana leaf ficus against white fly - so far so good
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
Despite catching a lot of whiteflies, this did nothing to curb the problem.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
These were much easier than I expected. I figured that I would get sticky fingers and have a mess but they have figured all that out and have s spot to hold it while putting the sticky patch on the stick. It is catching the little bugs that have been "bugging" me. Very easy to use and not unattractive in place.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
Easy to use and effective. I have used them for years in my salad garden and have not been disappointed. They do attract the bugs.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
This is a very simple, but highly effective solution. We used them in conjunction with mosquito dunk watering of our houseplants and saw a marked reduction in 24 hours. A completely odorless solution for fungus gnats in houseplants.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
the only defense against fungus gnats that I've found. but someone should invent a more attractive design.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
very good product,we use it in our greenhouse to keep the little critters at bay.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
So far have used this amongst indoor potted plants to catch gnats, and boy after a few days, both sides were dotted all over with little black gnats. Easy to install, if you put it in the holder before peeling off the paper, and tearing off the paper around the holder area. Great product!
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
Easy to use and effective on white flies. I placed one sheet between each of my miniature gardenia bushes (18 bushes in all), and I had little to no infestation of white flies last summer. I'm starting earlier with these sheets/traps this year!
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
Withing a couple of days mine were covered with little white bugs, and there seems to be less bugs on my herbs. No pesticides and it works!
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
I use these in my greenhouse to keep the gnats down. They seem to do the job and couldn't be easier to use.

Comments about Whitefly Traps:
The cards are bigger than they need to be. Order could contain more stakes (only 3 in package). [...]The cards have been in place in my houseplants for a few weeks now have captured only a few bugs.

Helps to control but does not eliminate fungus knats.

Comments about Whitefly Traps:
These are your basic yellow, sticky whitefly traps. They work. A little messy when you are first setting them up.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
I use these all year on my indoor plants - they trap whiteflys and other small flying insects; and especially great on FUNGUS GNATS. {I place them between the soil and container to trap the gnats.) THEY DEFINITELY ARE THE BEST I have found for indoor bugs. Only need to be careful if you have animals (dogs, bunnies) - not to let the pets near these sticky traps!

Comments about Whitefly Traps:
After bringing in plants for the winter I have had in previous years terrible trouble with white flies and my plants did not do well some not even surviving. This year this magic little yellow strip does the trick.

Comments about Whitefly Traps:
it seems to have totally trapped all the little flies that were around my houseplants.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
Very easy to use, no problems

Comments about Whitefly Traps:
we had a whitefly aphid invasion last winter, these sticky sheets seem to be about the only thing that would attract the flies and the stickiness lasts a long time. The con is that they are very very sticky and plant leaves can stick easy to the sheets.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
The White Fly traps work great.
It has helped me to keep the White Flies in check.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
Just one trap was all that was required to rid my planter of mint from white flies! Could not have been easier to set up!
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
quick, easy, and effective. Takes a few moments to set them up throughout my greenhouse, easy to move to where the bugs are, and they work great, no fumes, or chemicals with my 5 year old.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
I use these because I have had several infestations of gnat flies. They work better than another brand I bought because they have more surface area. I've tried to treat the soil without much success. These sticky strips are the only thing I have found to slow them down.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
so easy, effective, safe
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
much easier to deal with than the ones last year. I seem to get infested with white fly in the early spring so i really appreciate it.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
They did attract the insects but I still had white flies. Doesn't seem as bad as it had been in previous years though. They last a very long time!
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
Ecofriendly way to get rid of those nasty nats and whiteflys!
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
I have gone to great lengths to make my garden as organic as possible, and I was thinking these traps would control the critters that were attacking my green bean plants. Now, they do actually seem to be effective in attracting and catching all kinds of bugs. However, something I had not taken into consideration is the amount of blowing dirt we have in this region which the traps are also excellent at catching. Within just a couple of days, there was so much dirt on the traps, I had to replace them. Same thing in another couple of days. Sadly, even though they work, they are not cost effective in this particular environment. Just a little something to keep in mind . . .
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
I use the traps for fungus and aphid gnats mostly. They are effective for that if used in large numbers indoors. They do have to be changed every couple of weeks which makes them expensive.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
Each pad has several gnats stuck to it. They are doing their job.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
It was very easy to insert the traps into the holders. I use them to determine if I have a problem, rather than simply as traps.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
I use these in my greenhouse to trap the fungus gnats that seem to flourish out there. Just set them on the window sills, and they keep working all summer.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
Whiteflies and aphids are stuck on traps not on my plants
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
I use the traps on the herbs that I grow in my kitchen window. With this product, I can grow herbs and not have to spray insecticides on them to protect them.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
I'm no expert, but the one year I forgot to put these out near my beans, the plants suffered. They fill up with tiny insects that I believe are whiteflies, and the beneficial insects mostly stay away from them. The one downside is that they are *very* sticky, so handle with care, or your fingers will be sticky, too.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
I'm using these indoors for white flies. They are quite effective. Don't know if the color attracts the flies (bright yellow), but if it doesn't a dark green color would camouflage it.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
You just have to be careful that the plant leaves dont get stuck on the trap
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
Great for house plants and good for outdoors. The yellow color attracts the nusance "bugs" around houseplants. Be careful when using outdoors that the very sticky trap doesn't harm birds or bees.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
I used these in a couple of large house plants that I had some small flys in and this took care of those little pests!
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
Simply amazing how many nasty little flying things these sticky traps collect.
Have used them for several years - nothing better.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
These traps work well. Be careful not to put too near plants. The plants will stick to trap and
the leaves will tear. Keep several inches away
and above or below foliage.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
I am currently using this product on all the plants that I "winter". The pesky white flies have met their match and are very "attracted" to the fly trap. It is the best and most effective method to stop the flies from multiplying! No mess, no sprays, no smell, and the ultimate goal was achieved.... NO MORE FLIES!!!! THANK YOU.... Highly recommended product.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
terrific product gave us a lead to which plant was actually the one with the gnats
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
Easy to use, can change locations, actually see the bugs caught, helps to find which plant has the most pests. Love it!
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
When we bring out plants in for the winter, our house gets infested with gnats and the plants with aphids. These little sticky sheets are fantastic! When either of the above insects lands on one of the yellow sheets (they are attracted to the bright yellow color), the insects cannot get loose, thereby ending their annoyance. The yellow sheets hold alot of insects & last a month or more. They are truly a life saver from these annoying bugs.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
This product works great for my houseplants especially my orchids.
This particular order was for a gift.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
I have been so frustrated with the quality of potting soil. I have tried 3 different varieties including organic and they contain an unbelievable amount of fungus gnats. These insect traps are my best way of controlling them. They work great.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
I had white flys when I brought some geraniums in the house this fall. I placed the sticky cards in the plants and even cut a couple cards in half and placed around the room in other plants. They seemed to be 'caught' within a 24 hour period. I left them in the plants but have not had any more flys. Great to use in the house - much better than any spray!

Comments about Whitefly Traps:
I have an infestation of white flies in my steevia plant, so don't want to use any insecticides on it. The whiteflies don't seem very attracted to this product, I have several out in that pot and an adjacent pot, and can see the white flies perched on the underside of the steevia leaves. The product has been changed once after 2 weeks. I may try hanging it to get closer to the flies, they don't like to travel far from the plant, unless disturbed.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
I live in a large hi-rise apartment in NYC with large windows and full southern exposure. I love plants but I am limited to indoor cultivation. These yellow sticky pest squares are terrific for gnats and other flying pests. I've used them before inside and they are quite effective.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
These really help keep the insect pests down, particularly when bringing plants inside for the winter.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
White flies are a significant problem when growing basil in a green house. These yellow sticky cards work quite well. Within moments of placing the cards in among the basil they are covered with dead white flies.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
I live in West Central Florida. It is warm most of the year and insects do proliferate readily. I buy these easy-to-use insect traps and they work so well that I purchase them year after year. Our lanai is like a greenhouse and, even with careful agricultural practices, we still get potted plant destroying insects. These work quite well and need to be replaced only after 4-6 weeks for us.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
We were so excited to see little gnats stuck on within a few minutes! The product was very effective and cleared up the problem within the first week. I would definitely buy again, even though they aren't the prettiest thing. I would take them out before a party but other than that, it's no big deal. I took the recommendations of others and wore plastic gloves when applying, but it wasn't too messy.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
These are effective, earth friendly, and simple to use.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
Even tho it is awkward to use (very sticky, must wear gloves, I found it works really well on white flies and knats also.
I will definately purchase again
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
I placed the whitefly traps in my plants under my grow light. Within days it is covered.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
I love this product because it's totally safe and organic, but it is a bit messy to use. I haven't quite figured out how to put them on the stake without getting some sticky on myself. But it is effective, so worth the small mess.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
Easy to use, works well.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
houseplants stay healthy w/ this product....
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
Fast and easy set up.
Worked great with no posion, especially with
my kids in the greenhouse.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
They're to expensive.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
These fly traps work as described. They're a bit sticky when being applied, but that's why they work. We used them indoors to trap small household plant flys.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
I was amazed at how effective these traps are.
Every year we are plagued with whiteflies in Phoenix - so I was dreading an onstaught which would devour my vegetables and fruit plants.
I placed these traps all over the garden and NOT ONE leaf was touched by a whitefly!
Truly extraordinary! I will continue to use them.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
i use this product in the house and in my greenhouse and both areas work great
thank alot
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
You will not believe how many bugs these little squares attract! Everything from beetles to baby flies are attracted to the yellow color - your plants are spared a lot of damage.
They are a bit messy to use but you can clean your hands with a bit of cooking oil. This is, imho, so much better than pesticides.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
I hate whiteflies - anything I can do to deter them is great!!!!!
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
I use the Whitefly Traps in my basement light garden to protect my outside plants that I winter inside.
Takes care of the whiteflies that eventually show up even if you spray the plants with insecticide before bringing them in.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
I have these in several plants throughout my house. I see little insects on them so I know that they are somewhat effective but they don't draw them as fast as I thought they might.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
simple
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
I gave this product to my mother who was battling white fly. It really works, the flies are attracted to the yellow and once they land they are stuck for good. Because of the lifecycle of white flies, it does take several weeks for the eggs to hatch and flies appear. So far, we see alot of flies that met their demise. Good solution to the problem.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
I use these in my greenhouse for an infestation of fungus gnats. They are covered with the little buggers in no time flat. My only problem has been bending over a plant and getting my hair stuck in the trap.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
These flags are sticky to handle so you must use caution. They are very effective.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
I could put the traps in the pots with the heaviest infestations of whiteflies.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
I use them in the greenhouse to trap insects and to monitor the infestation. They are safe and easy to place among the plants and they really work. They are very sticky so you want to handle them very carefully to avoid getting the sticky material on your hands. It is difficult to remove it if you do.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
This is a great catcher of those invisible little flying critters that buzz around houseplants. The ones that are so hard to get rid of until I have used these yellow sticky and I mean STICKY traps! Did not think it was working at first but I have one in my orchids by the sink and there are more and more bugs daily on it. Great product and no smell to it.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
I don't know how the infestation arrived, but I had tiny flies all around the house. These traps added to a few potted plants captured most within a week--I swatted a few myself.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
Where do these creatures come from? After several months inside, my plants became invested with white fly. They kill your plants. I tried some homemade & commercial sprays but wasn't comfortable doing that. These sheets have helped control them and I can't say they are gone but more tolerable.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
I use the traps for bugs in my planting area and in the green house.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
These traps are excellent in the house and greenhouse.
Tried them last summer outside near summer squash plants and caught many insects but not the ones I was after.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
I am using these sticky traps to catch flying insects on my indoor plants.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
I had a real problem with fungas gnats in a small greenhouse. These sticky traps really caught a lot of the pests--not all, but helped clear up the problem. It can be a little tricky getting the traps fastened without getting your hands gooey, but it washes off easily. I still occasionally stick my hair into a hanging bug-covered trap!
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
I use these in my greenhouse and they are most effective. My only problem has been bending over a plant and accidentally getting my hair stuck.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
These traps are a great alternative to using chemicals for some common pests. The metal holders make placement and changing simple.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
Good temporary solution but don't impact breeding. Some were "very" tacky and difficult to separate making me just as tacky. They do as advertised while beneficial nematode application working
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
I got this late in the season after trying all kinds of awfuls sprays which did no good at all.
My heart lept with joy when, after putting these things out, i saw dozens of whiteflies fly straight to their doom.
i'm certain that when spring comes i will see more whiteflys but i have enough of these handy items to decimate their numbers if and when they arrive.
be sure and get MORE than you think you'll need as they are terriffic but you want to have enough and wear an old pair of gloves when putting them out as they are rather sticky.
great product.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
I'd read about these traps for years, but doubted their effectiveness and relied on insecticides for chronic whitefly problems indoors. So I recently gave them a try. Happily, the whitefly I usually bring back into the house with tender cuttings has been eliminated. Wow. I've only had these for a month, so can't give a long term report yet. I'd say the only minor down side is that they make a mess on your hands if you don't handle them carefully. No biggie.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
I'm using this product to monitor a fungus gnat infestation I have on strawberry plants growing indoors. In addition to nematodes I've applied to attack fungus gnat larvae, the traps assist in controlling the adult population. The inclusion of robust, reusable stakes along with the traps was the deciding factor in my decision to purchase sticky traps here rather than elsewhere. Other traps I've found online are a bit larger, and have grids printed on them which assists me in monitoring pest control. I'd like to see these features added to the Gardener's Supply traps, but the inclusion of stakes saved me time I didn't have to devote to making them on my own.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
I needed a way to get rid of disgusting gnats without resorting to oppressive sprays. I highly recommend this product because it's inexpensive and works really works well.
Phoning my small order in was easy and pleasant, too.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
I have trapped more gnats in my light gardens than even I knew I had with this product. It works well, but it's not a perfect solution. There is an endless supply of the little pests, and their larvae feed on my plant roots - then the cycle begins again. Sticky traps work best in combination with Gnat Guard, which gets rid of the larvae. Another thing that helps is to keep a layer of dry soil mix on top of the pots, and to water from the bottom, because that slightly damp top soil is the gnat's favorite habitat.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
My vegetable plants were infested with white flies. These traps work great!
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
I used the product to get rid of white flys on my garden plants when they were still seedlings.
It did not stress the plants the way a spray would .
Thanks
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
This product worked great as described in the catalog. The best is you don't need to use insect sprays on the house plants to get rid of those nasty flying house plant pests.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
I use it around my violets all winter.
I use it in my greenhouse
really keeps the flying bugs down
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
It really does work nicely! Great way to rid houseplants of small flying inscts without harmful chemicals. Just be careful not to touch the sticky surface, especially watch out for long hair.

Use these in my vegetable garden and in the rose garden. The yellow sticky strips are safe and they trap the white flys and other flying insects, water does not effect strip and they last until covered with insects.

Comments about Whitefly Traps:
I tried this product for the first time in 2008. I have them in my flower pots and spaced all throughout my garden, and in any pot I'm using for grdening. The neightborhood kids love to come check to see what "gross bugs" we've caught every week.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
very sticky, be careful not to touch with your fingers and other objects you would not want stuck to it.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
I have many plants at work and developed a white fly infection. This product totally took care of the problem in a very short time.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
Worked great for catching the many whiteflies that had attacked the indoor winter tomato plant. It was amazing how many were really on the plant. If we had the traps earlier it would have probably kept them from multiplying so quickly.

Comments about Whitefly Traps:
My yard has a bad whitefly problem, and I have these all over the place. They don't catch all the whiteflies, but they make a big difference. They also catch gnats & flies
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
These look pretty awful covered with bugs, but they sure work.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
Best if used as a preventive measure where spraying is difficult or inadvisable.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
The traps are the only way to rid a huge hibiscus
house plant of WHITE FLIES. We occasionally shake its long branches, flies mostly go to trap card. Plant has resumed flowering. An indoor euphorbia is also responding to fewer flies. We change the traps every 3-4 days as infestation is bad.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
worked great to control white flies that infested my houseplants. I'll definitely use this again if needed. It's simple, unobtrusive and inexpensive.
Comments about Whitefly Traps:
I use this when I start my plants from seed indoor. Great for catching gnats which can get out of control if not monitored.
