My husband is a master craftsman & sometimes for special people will lay the tile himself vs. using a professional. He's the best but it kills his knees. These are perfect for my knees. When they are used outside or inside they cushion my knees, which means I have less pain. They are used for gardening, flower tending, working on vehicles, and scrubbing the tub. Wish they would also make ones that a person could attach to each knee. Then I could use them for scrubbing the floor.

I found this so useful that within a day I had ordered one as a birthday gift for a friend. I've tried several different knee cushions but they were all flimsy and uncomfortable compared to this one. I can't even feel the pavers and bricks under my knees and can stay kneeling much longer. Also great for indoors kneeling on hardwood floors.

Though I definitely plan to use the jolly kneeler outside soon, I ordered it in the fall to use with some MAJOR household chores. Being a new empty nester, I am doing some cleaning that hasn't been done in 16 yrs in our present house.One area is a walk-in attic with plywood floors which is hard on the knees! The Jolly Kneeler is so soft under the knees I bought a 2nd one for our new farm. I have two knee replacements and am not allowed to kneel on them so I only use the kneeler to help get up and down on the groud. It is the best thing I have found to protect my knee replacments.

Jolly Kneeler provides excellent cushioning, but when I'm weeding, I move quickly around a bed. That means I have to get up a lot and change the position of the cushion. It works better for me if I kneel on one knee only. This gives me more reach before I have to move the cushion again. Recommend with qualification.

I have tried other products to help with planting and weeding (on not very good knees) without much success. The Jolly Kneeler is great. I can use it for long periods of time with very little knee discomfort. It is very lightweight and the handle is great. I would certainly order again, and may do so, just in case you may not have it again. I may also purchase for friend who is also an avid gardener.

This knee pad is much better than those cheap foam pads you get from the local gardening centers. I have tendonitis in one knee and have to have something to keep from having flare ups and this has done the trick for me so far!
