There's no reason why tree stakes have to be homely. This lovely, wrought-iron stake is adorned with a classical basket design and finial, so you won't mind looking at it all summer — even in the front yard.

Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
These grips work perfect with the tree stake. Very flexible and gentle against my tree. Able to cut excess gripper off to make the tree look attractive as it grows.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
This was just what I was looking for! It is not only attractive it does a great job in keeping my tree straight even in the windiest days.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
It seems to be doing the job of anchoring a new seedling which is subject to a lot of wind
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I've used these on two small trees. They are very sturdy, attractive, and well priced. Much prettier than fence stakes. They are also helpful when mowing to see a very small tree.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I have tried many type of stakes for small trees as we live in a very windy area. These are the very best; give lots of support and also look great. Highly recommended. Also, used the tree grips to complete the support. Love!
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
Flimsier than in the picture
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
The ties were more than I had expected --- very strong and sturdy
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
Best looking tree stakes I've seen, but would be even better if they were a bit taller.

Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
The design is beautiful. The construction is very durable, but I'd like it to be a little taller so I could anchor it in the ground more.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
The tree stakes and grips are excellent to stake a new tree. I would use again.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
Very attractive support for a newly planted tree. Sturdy and well constructed!

Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I'm using these stakes for a tall rose tree. I purchased two thinking that they would be more than sufficient but since my rose tree is a bit crooked, I could have probably used a third. They still are quite attractive and are holding the tree well. My only concern is that both of them came somewhat bent from the lower third down. I'm not sure if that is part of the design for stability or if it was a fluke that both came that way. I was still able to use them with success and feel they will add to my garden. Although the directions say not to hammer them in, I did have to use a rubber mallet to get them into the ground through the mulch. Didn't hurt the finish.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I used these with your stakes to support a potted Knock Out Rose in tree form and they are terrfic. Absolutely easy to use.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I love this product and will purchase more. It looks good and does a great job!
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
Grips bought only. Seem OK but not sure how long they will last under weather being really soft rubber. Better go to a local store and compare with other grips/ties first. Soft rubber is probably to be nice to the tree you tie.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
Stake went into the ground easy and the grip holds well.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I recently bought two tree roses and on windy days they would sway back and forth. I placed a trellis behind each of them, but the roses went over the side. I didn't want to put unsightly wooden stakes in the ground. I bought the tree stakes and grips. They are so easy to use and are very decorative and enhance the landscaping. I am no longer concerned about the wind affecting my tree roses.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I bought this as a gift for our next door neighbor's Japanese Maple. It's a lot nicer than the average tree stake. Quality was okay - some paint chips. Neighbors were thrilled though and the tree looks more majestic with this pretty little stake.
Overall, I'd buy it again because the price was right and the chipping was minimal. You can't see it from the sidewalk or even 3' away for that matter. It also made someone smile.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I found the tree stakes & Grips were extremely easy to use plus they are very attractive in my small garden. It only took minutes to install and they have helped save my new trees from some damaging winds in Florida.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
The stakes and grips are very attractive looking. Unfortunately for the size of trees I am trying to support the stakes are not long enough. They lean over with the weight of the tree.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
Perfect decorative stake and grips for small to medium plants or trees. Would have liked the stake to be a little taller, but it still works with some taller items.

Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
The tree grips snapped in half during a storm! Very disappointing because the stakes held up wonderfully and look good.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
Well I guess I should have figured these would be cheap Chinese imports from the price! Can't see these lasting longer than a couple of years. [...]. You get what you pay for.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
Really like the design and function of the tree stakes and grips, just wish the stakes were taller. Could work better for fruit or ornamental trees.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
A great item that I had ben looking for for some time.

Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
Yes, the tree stake is short, but my trees are young, and the knob at the top really lets you pound the stake into the ground when you have lousy hard ground like I do. (Just put an old gardening glove over the knob to buffer the hammer blows.) If you want wind, you should live where I do, and this really supports the tree and looks nice while doing it. These have held my trees while the tall double wooden stakes put in by a landscaper blew right over with one of my trees.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
Having young bushes and trees this product works well for staking.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I did not realize how short it was. My trees were already to big to use the stakes. Wonderful and very attractive for a very small tree. If it was taller I would use it.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I was initially disappointed that I was required to purchase a five pack as I only needed one. But when they arrived, I found uses for the others and was glad to have them. I often see trees tied to posts for support that people forget about and the trees eventually grow into the ties (especially the wire or tape types). These ties are very well designed. They are sufficiently strong to provide support but also flexible and adjustable to acommodate trees as they grow.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
Used it to hold up a weeping branch and it worked perfectly.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
By the time you hammer these in the ground, they only stand about 3' tall maybe less. Will only hold a tree about the same size. Don't buy for any tree larger you will waste your money.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I have very strong winds at my property. Thought it would help a pine tree from bending over. However the tree's diameter was more than recommended for tree stake. I am still using it as it is attractive and can't hirt.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
Great for holding small trees.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
we used them to stake two weeping pussywillow trees that we planted
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
Love that a functional product can also look great too!
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I bought my first set of these stakes several years ago. They're very strong and attractive. I presently have two, holding up a 15' Eucalyptus tree. I've used them for other small trees and shrubs.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
Great product
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
My gardenia trees look the best they have ever looked. They are straight now.

Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
Needed this as a balancing tool when I have to climb around on the waterfall steps to weed or prune those flower beds. It needed to be sturdy, weatherproof, small in diameter and attractive. These tree stakes are just what I was looking for. Getting older doesn't mean we need to cut back on working in the yard it just means we have to have a few additional tools to keep us from falling or hurting ourselves.
Pretty and neat addition to the step flowerbeds

Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
New peach tree; main trunk not growing straight. Stake will give it a nudge for a while without damaging tree.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
These are great for small trees (up to 1 1/2" diameter). They are far more attractive than the usual wooden stake or metal post, so I don't mind having them in my yard. They also seem to be well made and durable. Howevever, these are on the short side so I wouldn't use them on larger trees. I started with one and liked it so much I've ordered a few more.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I have two young dogwood trees that needed support. These straps are sturdy but soft on the bark and were easy to set up.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
The stake goes into the ground easily and holds the tree straight. The grips are easy to attach and hold firmly. I have owned two of these tree stakes for over a year, and just bought a third one for one of my tree roses. It is the easiest and most attractive way to hold a tree straight that I have found.

Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I used this product to stake up a dwarf tree and a Hydragea Tree...worked well, but would have appreciated a little more height on the product. Very smart looking in the garden and it adds to the landscape.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
Very nice product and looks better than ordinary tree stakes. Should be taller to give more support to young growing tree.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I use it to tie up small trees, and it is sturdier and better looking than plant ties. It would be better if it were a little longer
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I am using a couple of them to hold a trellis with a woody vine in place next to a small tree.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I have staked a couple of bushes with this products. I wished they had a similar product which was taller so I could have a pretty stakes for them
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
The Garden Stake is a classic, nicely designed product but could have been about 12" taller.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I tried to use the product to stake a tree, but it broke on the first use.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
Can join them togather for more usfullness.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
Needs different sizes and prong base for statablity.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
Used them in my front yard for 2 new trees we planted.Love the look of them and they are holding up great
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I planted a young tree and the stakes are great for small trees. Sturdy and very nice looking. Would've liked then to be a little taller.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
This combination has been effective in stabilizing a new tree with the added benefit of not getting in the way while mowing. I will buy more as I add trees.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I used this product to replace old wooden stakes that I was using to support my Butterfly bushes.I love the look,it did the job but it could have been two feet longer. Tom B.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
used this to support a hybiscus tree in a pot.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
This tree stake is a very attractive addition to my garden and, along with the tree grips, is an easy to use tree support
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
My new persimmon tree is beautifully supported with two of these wrought iron stakes. They are perfect with our Spanish-style home.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I staked a small topiary rose bush in front and it looks nice
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
It works a whole lot better than green plastic tape that is the normal tie back.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
Purchased the stake to bolster a new forsythia tree from wind and elements -- the tree stake was the perfect answer!
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
Fits in with foliage, does what it is supposed to do and is attractive.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
Easy to use not unsightly like some tree stakes!
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
We used this tree stake for our ornamental lilac tree which is in a corner landscaped area by our house. We get extreme wind and the stake adds really good stability for the tree, plus it looks fantastic. The tree grips make it so easy to anchor to the tree without hurting it. We would definitely recomment it!
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
We used the tree stakes for our rose trees. The stakes did not take away from the appearance of the roses, if anything, they added to the beauty of the roses. Great product.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
Could not drive it into the ground without breaking through weatherproof coating (used spray paint to repair).
Rubber straps are a bit unwieldy, but that seems to be typical of ones that actually stay put.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I used it at the end of our drive in a small, formal bed to straighten an azalea tree. It doesn't distract from the bed or the entrance.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
easy to utilize and helpfull in training small trees to sit vertical.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I live in the desert with high winds, trees and bushes really take a beating. The stakes and grips are great and easy to use and really look nice. I will purchase more and wish there were stakes even taller. And so happy[...]
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I love these. I hope you're working on a taller one which I could use for my dinnerplate dahlias.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I am using 2 as attractive staking for a new, small Japanese Maple. It is perfect!
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I purchased two of these to stake our Bottle Brush tree. It is about 9 to 10 feet tall in a windy area of our yard. Our nursery told us to keep it staked until the tree is much older and not easily bet in the wind. We actually hammered these stakes down into the ground, sticking up about 10 inches from the soil. We are using the rope in the crotch of the tree method. These work great and look great! Our previous stakes kept getting pulled out of the ground when a gust of wind blew. This keeps everything in place. We recommend!
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
The stakes are very attractive and easy to use. I would suggest that you make some taller ones for heavier trees. This size is great for smaller trees and looks great. The ties that are used with them are great and easy to use.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
The tree stake from Gardener's Supply is indeed beautiful enough for the front yard, as they claim, and that's exactly where I put mine, to help hold a young plum tree straight. It is a very attractive tree stake; not at all like the unattractive wooden stakes and such I have seen sold elsewhere. My only complaints are that it is shorter than I thought (my fault, I should have looked more closely at the dimensions) and the steel can bend, so be careful not to overtighten. Otherwise, great product!
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I used this to stake my ninebark tree. It is a perfect addition to the setting. I am extremely pleased with the look.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I used the tree stake to straighten an Asian Persimmon tree (1 yr. old).
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
Using it to brace up a young tree.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
This product works better than we had thought and we have tried everything to keep our trees straight including rope and rocks.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I have changed from wooden supports to your tree supports and it makes all the difference in the look of the garden. Most importantly, they are sturdy enough to support young trees in the high winds we often get in this area. They are especially good for young fruit trees. Great looking, too.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I replaced another tree stake with this one, using the corresponding rubber tree grips. I saw an immediate improvement in the tree. No more bruised bark and my tree stands straight and tall.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
This is the most attractive tree stake I have seen. I'm using it to support a new Japanese Maple in my front yard. Since it is a very visible area, it was important to have a nice looking tree support. It was very easy to set-up (took just minutes) and has already weathered some strong storms with ease. I recommend this product.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
Great Product.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I am going to buy more of these - they are practical and look great
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
Product was used to brace three small ornamental trees - much more attractive than wooden stakes.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I couldn't be happier with the tree stake and grips. Purchased stake for a young Maple Tree. Wind and rain has not bothered the stake and it is pleasant to look at! Thank you for a great product
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
Worked great at bracing small saplings. Even survived the aftermath of Hurricane Ike.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
The new tree in the front needed to be staked. I was not looking forward to available ugly staking. This adds to the iron look of the country stone house. J

Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
The tree stake is really nice looking but I am doubtful it will hold up - we shall see. The black finish is a top coat. When I went to pound it in the ground my hammer took some of the black finish off so use a rubber mallet.

Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I had several small trees that were planted within the past 3 years (3 just weeks ago). Two of those I used the stakes and ties on went over, but the stakes and ties remained attached. The stakes bent slightly on the ones that stayed up. One tie snapped. This was during Hurricane Ike in Houston, TX.

Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
Really love the look of the tree stake. Out classes wooden stakes, pipes, or pvc by a mile.
I am currently using them on two tree roses that have gotten very tall and need some help when the wind blows. The way the grippers connect it to the stake really help avoid damage to the plant and give it room to continue to grow.

It has steadied a young tree through hurricaine-remnant season.

Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
This one stakes a beautiful young pink dogwood. Our neighbor sees it out her side living room window. She commented how pretty and long lasting the blossoms were in spring and the turning leaves in fall. It seemed only right to replace the nursery bamboo stake with something more befitting our neighbor's praise and our own enjoyment. It is just right.

Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
It was classier than I expected. Looks beautiful in the garden, and more importantly, helped our young trees withstand hurricane winds.

Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
We were pleasantly surprised at the strength and good looks of the stakes and the grips as well. They look classy in the garden - no more ugly string or rope tied to rusting stakes.

I use them to hold my rose trees trunks upright and straight.

Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
Once driven into the ground, this stake was too short to grip even my little tree far enough up the trunk to be effective.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
As part of our church landscape team I needed to find supports for 2 small trees near a much-used entrance to the church. These supports look so classy and are very sturdy. The trees are in a very windy area but are held in place by the supports. We used a piece of wood when hammering them in place so as not to mar the beautiful finish.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I purchased these grips along with the plant supports. They were used at our church and looked very neat and professional. Many people view these and comments have been so positive.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I bought these stakes because I fell in love with the look of them but fell deeper in love when I used them to stake a young crape myrtle. Not only do they look great but they work really well. I also bought the tree grips and they make staking so much easier and better looking.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
These stakes add an elegance to the garden.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
Aspecial evergreen given to me by a deceased friend and it is growing straight with this great product

Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
Not wrought iron. Thick plastic coating covers up cheap construction. Thin walled metal pipe is too flimsy too support anything more than light annuals. These look OK but be carefull where you use them.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
The straps are too short. I ended up using two straps and a regular webbing strap per stake. I used two stakes for the little tree I planted. We get ferocious wind at times. I didn't trust that the edges of the segments of the strap wouldn't scrape the bark.

Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I used them to stake smaller trees,, they are fabulous. I ordered 2 and loved them and ordered more...

Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
It is very attractive but unfortunately the trees I had planned to use the stakes on were already either to crooked or tall for these stakes. I had to resort to bigger guns (and should have bought these a few years ago when the trees were smaller!) I like the construction and will find other uses for it. I would still recommend the product for young trees.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I love this product, however, it could be about 12" longer to support taller trees. I am hoping that it will still support my young tree as it grows.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
My daughter and I planted a small tree on earth day about 10 years ago. The tree is now about 3 feet tall - but was growing on an angle. I couldn't find a stake with grips locally - so I went online and found this product. It's fantastic - our tree has straightened out and is growing beautifully.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I used this product to support a 'special' tree and it really looks nice.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
We planted 2 new trees and these tree stakes not only look great but also held our new trees in place in a few very heavy wind storms. They look a lot better than the traditional tree stakes and twine.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I use them to hold up newly planted trees, but also found one useful to balance a double shepherd's hook that swayed too much with the weight of a bird feeder and hanging plant.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
This product is easy to use and looks great in the garden. I would like it to be a little longer but other than that it is perfect.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I was concerned how well the tree stake would hold in the ground. It is easy to install and holds great.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
Needed the stakes for my 2 small trees.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I use this with a new red bud tree in my front yard. It has held up nicely so far. It isn't as sturdy as a regular stake, but it does the job.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I love the beauty of these supports; but they sure won't support any tree I've planted! Your description of 48" high is correct, but I use them for my larger flowers and plants and they are perfect.
I would recommend these supports to friends who are looking for beautiful plant supports for their gardens...not for trees.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
This is the perfect solution for a sometimes unruly yet beautiful rose tree that has the tendency to topple over when it is full of blooms. Our rose tree has a habit of falling over onto our entry path to our home. Now with these beautiful stakes and the companion grips we can enjoy the rose tree in it's upright position. The stakes and grips were very easy to install, and the quality and appearance are top notch!
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the package and found these heavy-duty stakes for my poor windblown Flowering Crab trees. The grips were durable and actually long enough to wrap around the tree trunk twice. Wish I had found these sooner.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
Solid construction yet looks great ! Nice for small trees.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
This support works great, but is also very attractive addition to my yard. I have used them to support a number of newly planted trees. I had some difficulty with a tree rose which was potted and very unstable - kept losing upright position with even the slightest wind/rain. A single support did not provide the support the rose needed because it kept blowing around the support, so I use four of the supports placed in a square pattern, which allows me to anchor the rose from all angles and it is very stable now. Additionally, the design and style really dress up the tree and it looks quite lovely.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
We bought two of these, one is working fine. The other bent about two days after we secured the tree to it. Apparently, the tree is stronger than the stake.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
Planted a new tree and am using this to help support it. Also I have some small apple trees and I use one of the fasteners to support one of the limbs from hanging over my sidewalk. So far, it is working fine.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
My azalea trees are about 4 & 1/2 feet tall. There were three trees and one broke off in a windstorm because of the weak wooden stakes that I had used. These stakes are perfect support even with the extra weight in full bloom.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I tried several other tree staking systems that I bought at the home improvement stores. They were ugly and really did not work very well. When I saw is one in the catalog, I knew I had finally found what I was looking for. I would definitly recommend it to my friends.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
These are great, but could be about a foor longer.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
Used to support a small decorative tree. Once I pushed the stake into the ground, there should be about another foot to make it more useful.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
These are very sturdy, no bending here. The ease of adjustment for holding your stalk is an added benefit. Nor does it bind or cut into the stalk.
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
I am very satisfied with this product. It does everything it was advertized to do and does it with style. Looks great in my garden holding up my butterfly bush
Comments about Tree Stakes & Grips:
Better looking than a makeshift piece of wood and twine to hold up a young tree, and this will hold up better also.
