Finally something non rigid that's also tough!
I am short and have a back problems and carrying my weeds to the compost pile in a stiff bushel basket was difficult by the time I have my arm stretched out and have to hike it up on my hip I could barely make it to the compost heap. I used it yesterday to dig potatoes and will use it to dig cannas, carry apples (we have a small orchard). I bought several and will also use for hauling laundry (I can even soak my dirty garden clothes in it) and hauling around my granddaughter's toys. Haven't gone through a season yet so gave 4 stars till I test the durability. I usually use several boxes with animal bedding to store my glad corms, dahlias etc but will use these this year.

This is the perfect size to hold a large trash bag and drag around with me while I'm weeding. It's much easier than just carrying a bag around with me because this keeps the bag open.

I use this tub for everything from pulling and dumping weeds to moving a little excess dirt from one place to another. The large size is not too big to handle and makes gardening chores fun because of the bright color!

I now own 5 11-gallon Tubtrugs, and it's not uncommon to have all of them in play as I garden, particularly in the spring when I am amending the soil in my garden and pots.
In addition to the "pros" listed above, I especially like that they are flexible without being at all flimsy. Three examples of this: (1) My soil is very rocky and I use these tubs for carrying the rocks I dig up; they stand up to as many rocks as I am able to carry at one time, and their flexibility makes it easy to use good body mechanics as I lift a tub of rocks and to carry it close to my body to avoid back strain; (2) I rarely make a mess any more when dumping things from a tub into my garbage can; I am able to hold both handles of the tub together with one hand, forming a "spout," while I raise the bottom of the tub with the other; (3) Unlike the large "paint buckets" I used previously, these tubs don't get locked together when you stack them.

I agree with all, great for carrying and weeding and storing, but... I own 2 tubtrugs and 3 of the 4 handles have broken on them. I still use them though. I would reccommend with reservations.

I mostly collect garden waste for compost and collect compost when "harvesting" it. But I've also mixed soil with compost for planting and used it for temporary storage of chopped leaves. I have a smaller one too.

my favorite thing is that with one hand you can pick up a full tub with both handles and keep everything inside. I use one mostly in the vegetable garden and the other I'm trying to keep clean for laundry. I can't think of any reason not to love this tub!

I bought one of these in the spring and I loved it. The size is perfect, its attractive and just perfect for weeding and trimming my garden and hauling away the debris. Unfortunately, my dog chewed both of the handles off of it and rendered it pretty useless. But I ordered another one and now just keep it where he can't get to it.

We at the Garden, Love Trug Tubs! Our volunteers and staff use them on a daily basis for all gardening aspects! Beyond gardening the trug tubs are great as drink coolers, laundry hampers, and toy storage. I personally love the easy stacking and pulling appart of the tubs.

I ordered a total of 3 tugtrugs, 2 11-gallon (light green & red) and 1 7-gallon (dark green). The 2 green ones I use for gardening, weeding, holding my tools as I work my way around the yard. The green 11-gallon works great for holding the husks of 3 dozen ears of corn until I get to the composter. The red 11-gallon tub we use for laundry, more durably then your regular wash basket. My mother has 2 of the 11-gallons as well for her gardening needs as well. Thanks for a great product.

Lightweight and easy to carry when climbing into the garden to weed and deadhead. No more piles to clean up. Great for working in compost and carrying transplants. Also good for placing handfuls of mulch around flowers (instead of working with heavy bags or having a "helper" dump the bags or wheelbarrow and smother the plants :)) Love the bright colors too.

the tubtrug is a great item that allows me to carry small garden utensils to the work area and to carry weeds or trimmings to a dumping area. It is light-weight yet sturdy. It won't rot like a wooden basket can.

I've been using mine all spring and summer both in my vegetable garden and flower gardens. I've hauled dirt, debris, compost, just picked veggies and more with it and it still looks like new! I like the idea that it comes in colors. I'll probably getting another one or two for next season.

Gather "stuff" indoors and out to tote to the trash or collect for the charity bags; easier to carry and doesn't collapse like a cardboard box. Mix water and cleaner for big cleaning jobs--easier to move and doesn't spill. Wash the little dog (but not the big one!). The handles and flexibility make it infinitely useful, and it's easy to clean.

I received my first tub as a Christmas gift, I was going to use it in the garden, but then decided to use it for laundry, I purchased a second tub in another color, to sort out the white/darks. Works wonderfully, so easy to carry and hold a ton of wash. I plan on purchasing many more colors.

I LOVE this tub! I use it when I'm weeding and pruning, or when I need to patch the mulch in my beds. It rinses out easily with a garden hose and I don't have to worry if my dog starts chewing on it like I do with my wooden baskets. Great product.

This is the easiest way I've found to collect and carry weeds, clippings, and other garden débris to the compost heap. It's also a great way to collect the viable bulbs dug out of old pots. The smaller versions would be super for smaller items (obviously). The containers themselves are lightweight and easy to handle, and the colors are great!

The tote is great for walks around the garden to pick up storm debris, weeds and to dead head flowers, then its a short trip to the compost. Its light weight and I love the hot pink. I still thinking of other uses like shoppping and laundry.

I started using the tubtrug just to collect gardening debris - deadheading, weeds, or to sometimes carry supplies (mulch) to the site. In a pinch, I've used it as a watering bucket, to gather vegetables, and carry ice and bottled water. Just rinse it out and find new uses. Great versatility!

This tub collects rain water, use when weeding, trimming, etc. When it starts to get full, you can stomp it down again and again. Easy to clean and use to gather vegatables in the garden.

Although we got the largest size available, it is often not large enough and requires frequent emptying. When filled it is a stretch to use the handles. We are still looking for something that better meets our trimming and weed pulling needs.

I love this tub! It's great to use when I need to walk around my garden and deadhead old flowers. I use the Tubrug caddy with it and find I can spend my time gardening - not looking for a tool.
Besides the obvious uses for gardening, it's just great for other things - I use one large tub to hold doggie toys and am trying to think of other uses.
Only problem with buying one - what color to get?

Great product for transporting tools to the garden. Heavy enough not to blow away with the wind. Flexible enough to squeeze into tight spaces when not in use. Clean up is a snap - a quick spray with the hose and you're done!

I can carry my gardening bag in the tub to where I plan to work. It holds a good amount of stuff. It's flexibility helps when I'm gathering both weeds and small branches. It's bright colors mean I cannot lose it in high grass or behind plants. I also use it to hold soil while I'm planting containers. I have three and use all of them.

The trug is lightweight and easy to move around. It fits easily between my raised bed garden rows.
