We have two wild rabbits and they are into everything.
i put up the garden bed and i sprinkled this around the bed. The rabbits would get close..but they stop in their tracks within 5 feet and ran back into the canyon. i have seen this happen 2 times and to this day, my garden has never been eaten.

I planted lots of tulips and other tempting treats (for squirrels, deer, and rabbits) last fall, so I knew that I'd need to protect them. So far, I've used Shake Away and Liquid Fence, and the only plant that has been disturbed is one peony that I forgot to treat! I anticipate many visits from the critters this year, as in the past, but hope they will run the other way when encountering this excellent product.

I just sprinkle product around my flower beds and the rabbits and deer stay away. I get to enjoy the blooms and beautiful colors all year round!! Of course, the rain washes the grainules away and I have to re-apply BUT that is the only complaint. The flowers need the rain so we have a catch 22.

Squirrels are using our screenhouse as a turnpike between oak trees. As a result, their nails are cutting up the sceen and their bodily wastes are littering our pool deck. We have tried the electronic noises machine, cod liver oil sprayed on the bushes, clorox solution sprayed at them with water gun and the hose. The product we bought was applied to the grass under the trees and next to the screen. They resumed their search for nuts on the grass as soon as we left.

I applied the product all around my house and under my deck where skunks had been spraying nightly, and it was completely ineffective. Two nights after I used shake away, there was a fox, a raccoon, two skunks, and an oppossum all in my yard at the same time! Its been two weeks, and the skunks have not left yet, raccoons have been nightly visitors, and my whole yard reaks of urine!! Its awful! This product is a total waste of money!

I have used the product Shake-Away to repel squirrels and chipmunks from my bird feeders. It works (or seems to)when first applied but its efficiency diminishes within a few days. Obviously when it rains it must be reapplied. I have found that even a heavy dew will make it dissipate. I would recommend it to someone else with the caveat of the above problems.

I used this in locations where my dog would not get into it. The chipmunks were eating the lily bulbs and destroyed other bulbs as well. I used this where I had seen them run when they saw me...now they think I'm a fox (hehehe). It works! I have not seen one of those little "buggers" around since..yeah, they are cute, BUT so destructive.

This product was recommended last year by GSC. I have a problem with squirrels stealing my fruit from trees and garden. I did review the mixed reviews on this product and still took a chance and used it this year. It slowed them down but it did not stop them from stealing the peaches, blueberries and strawberries(which they hated but still nibbled a piece of each strawberry).

I was having trouble with squirrels eating the wires under the hood of my car.. after the third time i started searching the internet for some much needed help...i found this..i tie 2 bags (in pantyhose) one on each side under the hood and change it every 3 months...so far so good!

I purchased the product in hopes that it would repel a groundhog that lives near my garden. I applied the product in GREATER quantity than the instructions called for and a ground hog walked right through the area the next morning to eat my green beans.

I purchased this product to keep chipmonks out of our flower garden and eating the roots of flowers. I talked on the phone with a sales representative and this was what was recommended.

In a short phrase: It has no effect on the chipmonks. No impact at all. I put it in their holes and around the area of the holes and there are still there in force. Closed holes are opened up again in a matter of hours, despite this product in and around the hole.

Would greatly appreciate additional advice.

We applied a large amount to flower bed over a 2 week period and the rabbit completely ignored it and still dug holes/ate plants; in defense of the product, we have dogs so maybe the rabbit didn't distinguish between dog and fox urine??

We live in a semi-rural neighborhood. Our property has rabbit & snake fencing all around it except for in the front of our home where our driveway is. We have been fighting the rabbits in our front yard for 5 years now. I tried a small container of the Shake Away Small Critter Replellent. It has solved our rabbit problem for good! We only re-applied it once because the sprinklers washed the granules away, but still no rabbits. In our backyard we have a lot of oak trees and the ground squirrels were hiding acorns under our newly installed wooden steps. We were constantly covering up their holes, and repairing the steps. Then we tried the Shake Away Small Critter Replellent and no more squirrels! I was reluctant to try this product, but I am so glad that I did!

This past summer I felt like Bill Murray in "Caddie Shack" ! The varmits devastated my newly planted garden. Tunneling under what I thought was secure chicken wire the chipmunks devoured my cauliflower as an appitizer,my pepper plants as salad and still had room for eggplant as the entree!! After replanting and staking my claim with "Shake Away" my Jersey Fresh produce was free from those little rascals.

I can't say that this was very effective for my woodchuck problem. I applied to areas surrounding gardens per instructions and he still came in every night. After two weeks I just borrowed a have a heart trap and caught him within an hour and moved him elsewhere.

We were searching for quite a while for a safe way to keep bunnies, squirrels and other small animals out of my vegetable garden and this stuff really works! My only complaint is that since it is in powder form, it can wash away easily and it is rather expensive to keep re-applying.

I have a relatively small enclosed condo patio home yard backed up to a natural green space. Squirrels were frequent and okay with me but when chipmuncks arrived and then a rabbit and I saw my new seedlings destroyed I had to fix it fast. Shake-away has done the job very well. It truly works. I'm surrounded by rabbits (cottontail and jack rabbits) and now they leave my yard alone. I've tried live trap and they did not take my bait. My friend recommended this product. I was skeptical at first, but was desperate to try anything. I'm glad I did. I would give it a 5 star rating if it was permanent. I ordered my second can a few weeks ago. It's worth the money.

We live in a gated community, but we can't keep the rabbits out! Everyone's flowers are tasty morsels for our long eared friends, but they stayed away from ours because of the repellent. I've tried other products, but none work like this stuff does! I bought two cans thinking I would need to use it constantly. I had high hopes for this but it does not work. Being a zookeeper, I actually have access to bobcat, fox and other types of urine - the main ingredient of this stuff. But in the end all small mammals and rodents are too smart for this type of thing. They will learn that any constant use of the same type trap or scent isn't so scary. Maybe if you use this with other scents and traps and keep rotating them it would be effective but on it's own it won't do anything after the first week. There are more squirrels and mice than I could count in the very spot we applied this stuff almost daily.
