Many natural pest repellents work on taste, but this one repels by smell, so your plants won't suffer even a nibble. Its nontoxic egg-and-garlic formulation is easy to apply and lasts a full month. Liquid Fence protects your flowers, shrubs, even hosta — a deer favorite!

Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
I'm not a gardener, our need is to keep bunnies out of our chain-link fenced yard. We have a crab apple tree and they love to come squeeeeeze themselves through our fence to eat the apples. I don't know how they don't injure themselves! I don't care at all about them feeding on the apples our problem is that we're animal lovers and getting in our yard is like bunny-suicide because we have 2 German Shepherds with high prey drive and have already killed one bunny. I can't begin to tell you how devastating it was for me to find the dead bunny in my back yard knowing my dogs did this. So, I'm looking for a product to keep them out so they aren't killed. These dogs have been living here for 4 years, the tree is has been here forever so I don't know why the bunnies stayed away all this time and are now entering the yard. I tried Liquid Fence and found no bunnies for 4 days after the 1st application, thought I found my answer! Then on my bunny watch the night of day 5 I found a bunny in the yard pre-dog release so bunny was kept safe because I shoo them out before letting the dogs out but I can't leave the dogs out unattended because bunnies will re-enter when the dogs are laying quietly watching the world go by. I reapplied next (this) morning which I expected to do per the directions, but not for a few more days and my bunny-watch found a bunny in the yard tonight the same day after the 2nd application. So, for our purposes it unfortunately, doesn't work.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
Since I've only just started using this, I can't tell yet how well it will work. So far, so good. I'm hoping it will keep the deer and armadilloes out of my strawberry beds this fall and winter. It got good reviews from others, who have apparently used it longer, and that's why I thought I'd try it.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
I planted two "baby" citrus trees which the deer were eating. After I sprayed them with Liquid Fence and attached the Garlic Cips, the deer have left them alone and new growth has started. We shall see what they do during the winter months?
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
I use liquid fence on my hostas and any other plants the deer enjoy and this REALLY works. Could not live without it!! I highly recommend!!

It works to repel rabbits from eating my flowers

Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
Although as others have commented, the odor is definitely present when first applied,to my human nose, it's gone as soon as the product dries. For the rabbit that lives in our yard, and deer that frequently visit, liquid fence remains highly effective. I even observed a squirrel stop and back up from the vegetable garden perimeter in response. The rabbit munches on hosta and grass adjacent to our vegetables, and although we've found deer tracks, they stopped eating on their way after I sprayed with liquid fence.

Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
I can't say 100% that this stuff had eliminated by unwanted visitors because I put up a fence around my entire garden right after I started using it. I'm going to give it the benefit of the doubt and say it works. But be warned - this stuff smells HOBBIBLE! And it will get all over your hands. Good luck!

Fast, easy, effective

Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
I use a small hand sprayer, enough for about five trees, spray heavy the first time. If you spray shrubs and bushes around the area it even keeps the Coyotes and Bobcats away. I use an old blender to mix it so that it sprays evenly. Be sure and wear a mask.

Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
Our neighborhood has been overrun with deer looking for food in the winter. I started putting up deer fence but after the first year the deer just broke through it. Then I started using Liquid Fence (use both) sprayed on the fence and fence posts. The deer come up to the fence, smell the Liquid Fence, spin around and run. Now their new trails in the snow completely avoid going near our bushes.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
This product really works. Unfortunately the sprayer head gets clogged sometimes, but putting it under the faucet usually cleans it out. Also it should be reapplied after it rains. The bottom line is that it really keeps the deer away.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
I spray it on all my flower beds to keep the rabbits from eating my plants down to the ground.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
I have quite a problem with deer and have given up on growing some plants but this product does work well. You have to be diligent about keeping your plant sprayed and it is smelly for awhile but overall it does seem to work.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
It saved a lot of my plants from hungry deer and rabbits.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
This product is great. I have been using it for many years. Maybe at some point the deer will just give up (hahaha). When you first spray the stuff it stinks, but by the next day the smell is gone. If you haven't tried thie give it a try i think you will be very pleased.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
Smelly but doesn't last too long, it does work and it isn't harmful to my cats

Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
I have tried alot of products and although it smells absolutely horrible for the first 24 hrs (don't get it on you) it works alot longer. How long, well I don't know. I am just so happy to have roses blooming again that I have been using it about every 2 weeks in fear that if I don't the deer will take that one day to devour my beauties. I know they have been in the yard, but they have left my roses alone. I wish it didn't smell so bad, but as long as it works, I can deal with the smell long enough to spray it on. My advice to all...make sure you are upwind when you spray it and wear a mask. UGH!!!
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
We have more than 20 deer that roam our 20 acres - daily. Our 1st year here we planted several trees, only to have them ate. The 2nd year we replanted and used fencing to keep them out except they were able to reach some of the leaves and ate what they could reach. This year someone told us about Liquid Fence and our trees and flowers are surviving! Between the Liquid Fence and the metal fence we are able to have some flowers and allow the trees to get tall enough to be safe! We have to reapply the Liquid Fence after a couple of rain showers or after a couple of waterings but at least we are able to have some flowers and leaves that do not end up on the deer salad bar!
It has an odor for a couple of hours but after it dries it is unnoticed.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
When I saw the price initially, I thought it was expensive, however, I did not have any deer problems this year at all. It used this spray in conjunction with Deer Fortress and nothing was eaten all season. The only draw back was the smell... it lasted a couple of days and was very stinky! My dog liked the smell too much and kept trying to get into the areas where the spray was.

This stuff really keeps the rabbits out of our garden.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
You know the smell is why it works, but use something to plug your nose

Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
I tried "deer fortress" that didn't save my hostas from deers, but this liquid really works! Though it has a very unpleasant smell when you are applying it, the smell goes away in a few hours. Always use disposable gloves when using this product to save your hands from odor that's difficult to wash away.
Good product! Thank you.

Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
Less than 1 week after using the application, deer right back eating the bushes and plants! Save your money!
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
I bought the spray bottle and it worked so well that I bought the concentrate. Just mix with water and spray. I have alot of flowers and not even a nibble after I started using Liquid Fence.
Okay, so it stinks initially, but the smell dissipates after awhile.
I would recommend this product to everyone!

Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
I used this product before and had better results. It did not last long. It worked for a week, but that was it. I reprayed and same result. My plants got eaten and no flowers for me. Back to the drawing board. Gardeners is great though. I will be back.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
This is the greatest product since sliced bread! Back in Virginia, we used dried blood, which was equally effective. But much to my surprise, when we moved to SC, we found the blood to be illegal. We searched everywhere for something effective, but had very little luck until I ran across your Liquid Fence Spray. Now I tell everybody I see about it!
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
I've used this product for years and agree that it's one of the best repellents out there--much better than doing nothing--but this past month deer ate my hostas, my hanging baskets of impatiens, my madevilla vine, even a lantana and both of my hibiscus plants that were in pots on my porch. All of these plants had been heavily sprayed with Liquid Fence and were planted very near the house. I think a hungry deer will consume anything, ignoring all deterents except for an 8 ft. tall fence. I've also noticed that , although a light rain will not diminish the effectiveness of this product, a heavy summer rain like we get here in S. Carolina in the evenings will pretty much wash the product away. I am still using it, but I need to do weekly spraying, and I believe it's the best product as far as repellents. Doesn't seem to repel rabbits, but the heavy damage is from the deer.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
Use when there is no wind or be upwind when you spray. Product has a strong unpleasant odor. My next door neighbor complained about the smell which took several hours to go away completely.
However, I has kept the deer form eating our flowers.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
I have used this product for several years now. It really does the job. When I am away and get behind on spraying you can tell. Hope this product never disappears.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
Although it has a strong odor it seems to be quite effective against deer for a pro-longed period. Having tried many products and devices, this seems to be the best of all of them. It's not however effective against rabbit damage. If rabbits want to eat something like Iris leaves, then they'll eat them whatever is on them.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
It does smell, which is a problem when you have a fragrant shrub in bloom and want to enjoy it!
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
We bought this EXPENSIVE product and applied it as the directions indicated. I have found both deer and rabbits in my garden within two days of application. Don't waste your money.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
I live in rabbit heaven..Cape Cod. They jump fences to get at my garden and even raise families in the LAWN! I sprayed the liquid fence throughout the garden and around the veggie garden and so far so good!
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
We have a lot of deer in our community and this is the only product that seems to help keep them off the plants. Does not last more than 10 to 14 days so must be applied frequently. Statement that it is long lasting is misleading. We will continue to buy in concentrated form as this is most economical

Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
I purchase this product at the beginning of every spring. The deer love to eat my day lillies and the rabbits just love the flowers on my impatients. I can use this product and know that it will not affect my dog, or any of the wildlife that cross thru my yard. It is a little smelly at first, but that dissapates after about 30 minutes. I get such good results, that my neighbors have started to order this product as well. I highly recommend this to keep wildlife from snacking on plants.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
Living in woods, I have fought to keep deer from destroying young trees & shrubs. this is one of the best solutions. I wait until after a rain and leaves are dry, I then spray modestly.
so far I am seeing regrowth on my trees and shrubs. I am seeing my roses bloom.
Smell is a bit strange but that is the trick. I have used soap, garlic/onion mixes, dried blood but they all wear away. This keeps a taste and smell for them even after rain.
I blelieve that a perimeter spray around garden/orchard helps keep smaller creatures at bay also.
I would recommend using the others in between as animals get used to something and go back to their ways, so I rotate what I use. Saves money and everyone has garlic and onions that go bad..cook into a solution with water and keep in a sprayer. Used soap on a rope to hang in trees with hair from brush. i keep away from moth balls as their are ingredients that are harmful to human beings and wildlife.
I aim to deter not to kill or harm.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
I've had great success with Liquid Fence. I live in a neighborhood which is well-populated with deer, and I've tried numerous repellants with limited success. Liquid Fence is the only thing that works. Sometimes the spray bottle stops working while there is still a lot of the product left inside, and I have to pour the contents into another sprayer to use it all. It is a little expensive, but one application lasts for several weeks, and it is not necessary to reapply after it rains.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
This stuff smells absolutely TERRIBLE, do not open the bag inside your house! It's fine once it dries, and seems to work well. I'm going to try it on my tulips next year, the ones the deer find so delicious.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
make sure to rinse out the sprayer; can clog
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
Have been using this at the cemetary for the last two years and my plantings have survived the numerous deer. I spray at least once a week. I am afraid to see what happens if I spray less often.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
I sprayed my stuff and now I don,t have to fence everything in.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
This product works wonders! Finally, I am starting to see my bushes grow again.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
It kept the deer away from my lillies.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
I spray my tulips and other deer favorites as well as hanging pie pans out. The combinations wells wonders.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
I used to have a problem w/ rabbits eating my tender new plants - no more! Works great and last a long time!
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
We live in the middle of a field; deer walk across my property twice a day and we have rabbits by the thousands. My Columbine flowers have been eaten every year except this one. I was diligent about applying Liquid Fence after the rain because I wasn't sure if it would wash off and I wanted to make sure that the product would work. I wish I could add a picture to show how beautiful my garden looks.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
You need to start early by spraying as your plants pop up for the season or right after planting annuals. You should reapply often, especially if you have several days of rain in the beginning of the season. It is smelly, but once it dries it is ok - try to use gloves when holding the sprayer or refilling!!! I love it and I tell anyone who will listen to invest in it.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
I use this to keep deer out of my flower beds this does a great job and the deer stay out of the flowers
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
Product was very effective when used once a week.
Odor of product was somewhat offensive.

Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
Liquid Fence was recommended to me by our landscape architect. He uses nothing but this product. I purchase online and get the 2.5 gallon concentrate. Depending on the size of your yard, this could last 6 months or more.
I spray L.F. around all flowers, bushes, and trees. I saturate the mulch too. It takes longer to spray the yard but the reward is NO DEER or RABBIT. I moved into a new development 2 years ago. The deer have eaten all of the flowers and most of the shrubs from every single neighbor surrounding my house. All of the neighbors are shocked that I have beautiful pansies, tulips, hyacinths, daffadils growing all over without a single nibble from a deer!
After ignoring my advice to get Liquid Fence, they now are seeing the wisdom in going with what works.
The spray smells like rotten eggs and garlic...mostly garlic though. So you don't want to spray the morning you are having company. But the smell does dissipate within 24-30 hours.
One caveat: The instructions say you can spray once a month for critter control. I figure more is better. I spray my yard all year long. In the winter months I spray the entire yard every 3 weeks, including the mulch. In the spring, summer, and fall months, I spray heavily every 7-10 days. This may seem like over-kill but I figure if I'm going to spend the time and money to have a beautiful yard I don't want to be lazy when it comes to spraying. All it takes is one night and all the flowers would be gone.
The concentrate is mixed with 1 cup of Liquid Fence to 1 gallon of water. I have a 2 gallon plastic spray tank and mix both gallons at once. DON'T FORGET...when you finish the job, poor any leftover mixture into another container (I have 2 spray tanks and I use 1 of them for storage only.). Always run 1/2 gallon of WARM/HOT water through your spray tank to remove liquid fence mixture. Otherwise your nozzle will clog and you'll end up buying a second one like I had to. Also, store the empty tank with the pump handle set aside and point the nozzle in the UP position so any residual liquid will flow down into the tank.
I hope this helps ease your frustration with deer. I couldn't live without Liquid Fence!!!
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
This product was easy apply to my flowers being eaten by deer. I just sprayed it on and we saw results immediately. The deer do not like the smell and become trained to stay away!

Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
Product is effective BUT does not last after rain so claim of up to 3 months is false advertising.
I have bought several times and every time the sprayer fails to operate half way through the amount of the product.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
I live in a rural area and it's not unusual for 30 or 40 deer to be wandering around the neighborhood. With Liquid Fence they stay away from my flowers, shrubs and trees. It actually seems that they don't like my property and I love that.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
This sray really works and has no odor after it is dry.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
Trying to grow daylilies among a large deer and rabbit population would be impossible if it weren't for this product. All I can say is that it works and it is worth the cost to be able to save your garden.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
Bought the Spray bottle to protect my raspberry canes from rabbits. Took the whole bottle to cover my patch, but it worked for about a week. Ordered the concentrate to refill the spray bottle, and the spray bottle wouldn't work anymore. Rabbits have devastated my raspberries 2 years in a row now. And I'll have to buy another spray bottle to use the concentrate next year.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
I recently decided to try a flower garden again. We live by the lake & have a herd of at least 50 deer who visit us every day. (Hungry deer) In the past they have ate thru everything I planted, I tried everything I had heard of to deter them, nothing worked but for a short while. It's been 7 mos. now & I have to spray at least once a week but so far, so good. The Liquid fence is expensive, I'm on my 3rd bottle @ almost [$] a piece but the roses & daylilies & hostas & dirt & mulch & border & everything else to put the flower garden in cost a lot more than that so for anyone out there that fight the deer eating everything you plant, like I do, give it a try, it's worked better than anything I've ever tried.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
Our yard has an iron fence and we use this product to protect vines and larger plants near the fence line. White-tailed deer are deterred by the smell, as are our little cottontail rabbits. This product is especially effective for new plantings and during the flowering seasons. If you can get past the pervasive first whiff of "Liquid Fence" (it does dissipate!) when you apply it, you have a very effective product to deter "feasting" on your plants. I've used it for years and it works.

Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
After being bombarded over a two night period, and losing my entire Hosta bed in the front of my home to late night grazers, I purchased this product. As soon as the Hostas began to grow again, I applied Liquid Fence and even though we live in a rural area with Oak trees in our front yard (acorns for the deer), the deer never touched the Hostas (or anything else I used this on) again! Use this product, it's definitely worth the money. If you have a dog(s) they may want to potty in your flower bed, but that didn't last more than a couple of days. Now if they just had a Liquid Fence bird feeder SQUIRREL defense I'd be living the good life!
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
There are so many deer around and typically they destroy my garden every year.
This product is the only one that seems to deter them. I spray it on every few weeks. The smell is pretty bad, especially if you get it on you, but that's a small price to pay for beautiful flowers and vegetables!
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
Spray every week for the first three weeks and then only every three weeks. For the first time, the deer have left my flowers alone.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
I have tried other deer repellents, but nothing really worked until I used Liquid Fence. Thankfully, I happened to find it in a gardening shop a few years ago. Yes, it stinks when you spray it, but the smell fades within a few minutes.
Unless it rains really hard, Liquid Fence will stay on the plants to which it has been applied. Maybe the deer will get used to it sometime, but I have used it for three years and it really keeps deer from eating the plants where it has been sprayed.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
We have not had problems with deer in the garden since we've been using this repellent. I'm pretty committed to non-toxic methods, so this fits that bill and works, too.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
I used on roses, mallows, and newly planted fruit trees the deer were munching on.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
I have a 5000sq.ft. garden and sprayed the perimeter per instructions. It didn't keep the deer out of the garden. However, it did keep them from eating any produce sprayed with product.Only took a taste test and that was it. I continue to use it to keep my giant cantaloupes and goliath tomatoes from being eaten.I would recommend to a friend with this caution.
[1 of 1 customers found this review helpful]
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
When the deer began to eat my lilac leaves and tomato plants (which I didn't think they would touch), I had to try something. Even with all of the rain we've had this summer, it has worked extremely well applying every 2-3 weeks.
[1 of 1 customers found this review helpful]
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
Deer avoided the gladiolas that were sprayed but ate the daylilies right beside them weren't, so there isn't much of an area effect. Spraying the perimeter of the yard to keep them out altogether didn't work on the deer, but surprisingly seemed to work on the local groundhog.
Also had an interesting side effect of getting rid of annoying neighborhood children right after application due to initial strong odor.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
This product was recommended to me a number of years ago by a garden center. At the time, I had a bad rabbit problem. They had eaten my oriental lilies to the ground. Liquid Fence kept the many rabbits away from my plants. Where we live now, we have a deer and squirrel problem. Liquid Fence deters both deer and squirrels. The squirrels were ripping my azaleas apart - maybe for sport - and this product stopped them cold. It stinks to high heaven, but it works and the odor fades on drying. I'm willing to put up with the odor to protect my garden.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
need better sprayer
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
We have used deer fence with limited success. This has worked to discourage deer from flower beds and my garden very effectively. There's some odor on application, but that dissipates as it dries. I like the fact that it's non toxic and environmentally friendly.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
I spray Liquid Fence around my lilies to keep the rabbits from eating them before they have a change to start blooming. It really works. Be sure to wear long pants as the smell is terrible (goes away after a couple of hours) and you'll need to change clothes when you're done.
The smaller hand held bottle is hard to use and doesn't get all the liquid out when it gets low.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
My Hostas would get gnawed down to nubs each Spring by the resident rabbits, but now they grow again thanks to this product! It is a little stinky, but the smell dissipates rapidly and is no real issue to humans. It is easy to use, but for best results you must spray the plants when they begin to come up (when they are most tender and tasty), and be sure to reapply weekly until they are fully leafed out. After that, my Hostas seem unattractive to the rabbits, and I discontinue the treatments.
Some of my plants are over 30 years old, and were beginning to stunt so badly due to the rabbits, but they were able to rejuvenate after one or two rabbit-free growth cycles. "Liquid Fence" is naturally one of my favorite items in this catalog!
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
Liquid Fence was recommended to me by our landscape architect. It is the only product that I find works. We have had no deer or rabbit problems since using it. We spray the entire yard-bushes, flowers, trees, mulch...it takes 3 hours, once a month. Yes it does smell of eggs & garlic but the smell is gone within 24 hours. You do have to mix it with water. This small investment in product and time is nothing compared to losing the investment of expensive landscaping. I highly recommend Liquid Fence.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
We have a lot of deer in our area and I have found this to be effective in keeping them away from my flowers.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
I used this to protect my flowers and young trees, other then a slightly unpleasent odor it is very effect . Hard rains well decrease it's effectiveness
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
I was excited to use a natural product to save my flowers from a plentiful crop of bunnies this year...unfortunately the product was not effective...bunnies kept chomping...
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
Earlier this year I had numerous visits from the deer population and my Hosta were nibbled on. I ordered and received Liquid Fence in a very timely manner and I applied it to my Hosta, Impatiens, Daylilies, and around my property line (which abuts a state forest). Since I applied it, there has been no further damage. It rained a couple of days after application, but Liquid Fence still remained. It is time to reapply because the deer (not dear) have been a major problem in the past.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
I was so upset to find the deer and rabbits using my beautiful perineal garden for their snacking pleasure...they had to be stopped!! This works!! I have not had another problem even after all the rain last month!! Excellent product, liquid fence it IS!!!
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
We have an abundance of rabbits and this product keeps them away all spring, summer and fall. Once the tempature drops the rabbits will eat anything, so for winter it is not effect and all plants have to be covered.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
Highly effective in keeping the deer from eating my garden flowers.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
This stuff works great and lasts for weeks. Just don't get it on you; it smells awful I guess that's why the deer don't like it. The smell (to humans) goes away fairly quickly, but it works for at least two weeks.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
this stuff saved my garden from the pesky rabbits!
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
This stuff works!!! I've tried everything - and this year, I decided to use this and use it exactly as the directions state. I have had nothing eating my plants -- am actually going to be able to see my lilies bloom. This neighborhood is loaded with deer who don't hesitate to eat anything. Liquid Fence has kept them away from my home!!! (You just have to get used to the odor... which fades after spraying.)
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
The concentrate is the best deal.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
Easy to apply
Need a mask to mix the concentrate-horrible odor
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
The deer were really enjoying the espaliered apple trees along the wall next to the street. They managed to pull the wire mesh away to get at my best producing tree. After it was denuded, they gathered up their courage and browsed the trees along side the sidewalk.
One spraying of the Deer Fence on what was left of the leaves and they haven't been back. Just for good measure, I gave the trees another spraying a week later. New growth has re-greened my trees, and there has been no sign of deer snacking on those new leaves. The odor is only noticeable to humans for about 5 minutes, but it must be still there to repel the deer.

Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
I love this product. It keeps not only the bunnies away from my flowers but it keeps the deer away too. A must have!
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
I am using this product on a sidewalk planting strip. Not realizing I had moved into a deer zone, I planted mixed perennials including ROSES! After the first deer grazed them close to the ground, I got Liquid Fence, apply it once a week and now even the roses are blooming safely. Downside - it stinks to high heaven to human noses for about 20 minutes after application. But that minor issue is a small price to pay.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
Have a flower bed of impatients around a bird bath that had been eaten up the previous 3 years. By using this product this year, the flowers are in full bloom and look lovely.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
Deer are the bane of my area. It works -- plain and simple.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
I got tired of losing my young plants to bunnies. This product has worked very well for me. Most important to follow the directions and to apply it early enough. I have saved many plants and heartache this way. The odor goes away quickly after it dries out.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
This is the only thing I have ever found that really works protecting the garden from deer. While it needs to be sprayed about once a week to start, and smells terrible while applying it, it's definitely worth it. The deer won't touch anything I've sprayed with it. The only real down side is the spray bottle doesn't always work well. Haven't used the concentrated version.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
Putrified egg solid has been proven to be the best ingredient for an effective deer repellent (Extension reference). This product has it. Don't get it on your hands: it really does smell bad and is very difficult to wash off. Plants smell bad when solution is first applied but smell is not noticable after a few days. For the faint of heart, look for a product containing egg solids and herbal extracts: they smell better and work just as well.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
Works but expensive.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
We have a large number of deer in our area and I would be unable to grow any of my flowers without this product.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
This stuff really stinks, but when sprayed right next to a rabbit (the critter I was trying to encourage to eat elsewhere)didn't seem to phase him in the least. I can't be sure it actually deterred rabbits from eating my flowers. But I really thought the smell would keep them away.
Comments about Liquid Fence Spray:
Very successful product when applied well. When I went on a trip the deers came to the plants again. I suggest to use it regularly as prescribed.
