    I keep this little pail under my sink and use it every day.
    I use a plastic grocery bag to line the pail which helps to keep it clean and the charcoal filter keeps the smell down.
    Since I have a large compost pile it is very easy to add kitchen scraps.

    This pail has cleaned up my kitchen! Odors from scraps has been eliminated and fruit flies are gone. Easy to transfer scraps to compost and rise out. Looks great on the counter. Somewhat small capacity, and if you allow it to fill, the scraps touch the liner handle, and mine has started to rust. The filter does have a protective shield.

    Its pretty enough to sit out on the counter and small enough to not be in the way. I put all fruit and vegetable scraps in the pail as well as coffee grounds. It usually needs emptying once a week.
