Comments about BioBags™:
Any body that eats ought to compost but having a large system is not practical for seniors. THe compost bags makes it quick, easy and neat. It does not require large pieces of equipment nor large spaces: just a shovel and a plot of ground to bury the full bag.
Comments about BioBags™:
Wonderful for disposing of kitchen waste! Biodegradable! No more plastic bags to empty.
Comments about BioBags™:
Fantastic!!!
Comments about BioBags™:
I have a compost container on my kitchen counter all year long. Often the contents of the container start to liquify before the container is full, making emptying and cleaning the container a messy job. With the BioBags, I can lift the entire bag from the container and throw into my large garden composter without the mess.
Comments about BioBags™:
2 years ago I purchased your biobag "fully compostable and biodegradable" and have used them daily since. Imagine my surprise when I open my composter this past week to empty it into my vegetable garden and find every single biobag I used in my compost NOT "fully compostable and biodegradable"! I have been a customer for many years and am extremely disappointed in this product's performance. I will not use the bags that are left...I will probably throw them in the landfill with the others that did not do as purported to do.
Comments about BioBags™:
Previously, I either had to wash out the kitchen compost bin or use shopping bags that got messy and had to be thrown away. Now, with the biobag, I just toss the kitchen scraps into the composter, bag and all. Couldn't be easier or cleaner!
Comments about BioBags™:
I like these bags. I take the kitchen compost out to the yard once or twice a week. The bags hold up well during this time span. I did have an issue with tearing a new bag, trying to separate it from the bundle, but that only happened once. I've tossed 4-5 in the composter and only the most recent bags have not decomposed.
Comments about BioBags™:
Love the large capacity of liner
Comments about BioBags™:
These bags have a large capacity and work well with the crock compost pot. I am on my second batch of 100 and will continue to purchase. They hold up much better to wet (like coffee grounds) than I had expected. On the occasion where the bag tore upon removal or leaked from too much wet scraps, I just carried the whole pot to the compost pile and dumped it there. I used to line the compost pot with paper towels to make the removal of the compost easy, but the bags work much better. I would recommend this product.
Comments about BioBags™:
I use these in the composter pot. They don't seem to decompose as fast as I thought they would.

Comments about BioBags™:
Great to use, easy to empty compost pail, but some of the bags are torn on the insides and not just on the ends.
Comments about BioBags™:
These bags are so nice! They fit perfectly in the galvanized compost bucket, and they make it so easy to take all the compostable materials outside. I don't even want to think about having to clean the bucket each time I empty it, and I'm glad I haven't had to yet. Some condensation collects between the bag and the bucket, but it wipes right off with a paper towel and hasn't affected the strength of the bag at all. I don't love the price, but I'm sure enjoying them.
Comments about BioBags™:
I use the bio bags in my kitchen compost pail. Size is appropriate. Bags tear and leak easily.
Comments about BioBags™:
I'm surprised that these bags have the strength to hold my kitchen scraps. When I first saw it, I felt sure it would tear apart with the weight of a "load." They haven't! Makes the trip to the composter easier.
Comments about BioBags™:
I love the biobags that I use in my compost bin under the sink. The best part is when it's full I just lift out the bag and take it out to my composter in the garden. The only problem I had was cantaloupe seeds/rind did leak. So next time I'll have to take it directly to the garden instead of waiting a day or two.
Comments about BioBags™:
I like the product very much but the last order had side seams ripped which made it impossible to hold contents. When they are intact it's nice not to have to drag the entire canaster out to the compost pile. all I have to di it pull out the bag and go.
Comments about BioBags™:
I've only had these bags for a month, so I am not sure how easily they'll decompose, but otherwise they do what they're supposed to. They're very thin so you have to be careful what you put in them. If you don't have a "scraps" container with a lid, just twist them shut to keep the fruit flies out. So far, I really like these bags.
Comments about BioBags™:
I am amazed how much I actually am composting. I did not realize how much organic waste was going into the trash that now is going to my compost.
Comments about BioBags™:
These bags are somewhat disappointing. They leak and tend to slip down into the compost pail. They do help reduce the cleaning of the pail and if you put a rubber band around the outside of the pail and bag the bag won't slip. They do compose but very slowly in an open pile. Not for tumbler composer.
Comments about BioBags™:
Biodegradable bags useful for carrying compost from kitchen to compost bin. Best when used with crock.
Comments about BioBags™:
Solves my main problem -- trying to scrape coffee grounds out of the bottom of my bucket. But the bags do leak and the bucket needs to be rinsed between uses.
Comments about BioBags™:
So far so good. Bags hold a decent amount and make it easy and CLEAN to move scraps out to the composter.
Comments about BioBags™:
This is the 3rd batch of bags I have ordered. They make it cleaner and easier to compost. I think they are terrific. They look a little weird on my compost pile until they dissolve but then again it is a compost pile.
Comments about BioBags™:
I love the biobags! They are large and hold a great deal of kitchen waste. I have been able to reuse a bag a couple of times before disposing of it. The bags have eliminated the mess and smell of collecting compostable items in my kitchen.
Comments about BioBags™:
These Bio Bags make composting kitchen scraps easy and mess-free!
Comments about BioBags™:
It is easy to use and the container looks good on the kitchen counter

Comments about BioBags™:
I bought these over year ago thinking they would be a convenient way to empty my kitchen compost pail into my compost bin. The bags are still in tact and I have had to fish them out of my composter in order for the contents to start working. I liked the idea but it does not work for me.
Comments about BioBags™:
love the product, may be a little too large for efficiency and the crock I use, but better too big than small
Comments about BioBags™:
You would think composts quickly would be a PRO but since I use them to line my indoor scrap collector by day 3 or 4 it already started to degrade before I could get it outside to the compost bin. It dripped on the floor in the kitchen......Gross! I know to change every 2 days or so, but it might get expensive buying that many bags.
Comments about BioBags™:
The only Con would be that you cannot leave items in the full container with the liner for an extended time. The liner will eventually begin to break down. Take the container with the liner to the compost pile, thus preventing a mess on the floor.
Comments about BioBags™:
Too soon to tell if these compost easily. They are a little delicate and they stick together when you unroll the first back. That made some holes but since they cost about [$] per bag, I just tied knots in the bag and used it anyway.
Comments about BioBags™:
less mess if it does not leak through
Comments about BioBags™:
Don't like how the bags start deteriorating before they are all used up.
Comments about BioBags™:
These are great - no more mess in my compost crock - just remove it and throw it into the compost bin.
Comments about BioBags™:
It stands up if you get rid of the bag before a weeks time, especially if you put coffee grounds in it. I think they are great except for that.
Comments about BioBags™:
Perfect solution.

Comments about BioBags™:
My daughter in law gave me the counter pail for Christmas a year ago. I promptly ordered the bio bags. After using several and puting them in the compost pile, I still have them when I turn the compost in my compost tumbler. Do I need a large compost pile to get hot enough to disolve the bags?
Also, I let the kitchen scraps stay in the counter pail for several weeks last year. Since there was no odor and I wasn't cooking much, I forgot them. The scraps got maggots and some of the maggots were embedded in the filter.
At least for me, the bags are not an alternative to putting my kitchen scraps in a plastic container in which strawberries came from the store. I then take the scraps out every other day. Coffee grounds go in a large old coffee container and are taken out to the compost pile weekly.

Comments about BioBags™:
LOVE THESE! I used to make trip after trip out to the pile, but now I can save up for a few days with no mess or odor. I installed the little bucket made by BioBag under the kitchen sink where many folks have a garbage pail. It's so easy there is just no excuse!
Comments about BioBags™:
I have only used these a few weeks, but they are strong enough to get the full bag to my compost heap. I don't know yet how fast they compost in the pile.
Comments about BioBags™:
The bags for the Kitchen Composter are great because you don't have to carry the bucket itself out to the compost pile...and I'm out smarting the critters as they don't know how to get into it!

Comments about BioBags™:
These bags are convenient and help control odor, but I found that they take too long to biodegrade. I'll probably use up the ones I have and then discontinue using them.
Comments about BioBags™:
These things are a must-have if you have a kitchen composter. They make getting the scraps to the backyard composter so much easier, and cut down on the odor and mess in the kitchen composter. I'd give them 5 stars if they composted faster.
Comments about BioBags™:
I use these bags all the time in my kitchen composter. Easy to take out and just dump in my yard composter
Comments about BioBags™:
Bags do leak but otherwise work great! Makes cleaning the compost crock easier!
Comments about BioBags™:
So easy to pull the bag and toss it in the compost pile. The bag contains the scraps so animals are less likey to dig in the compost.
Comments about BioBags™:
I don't have a fancy compost container near the sink and the bag is too big for mine. I usually cut off about 4" which I hate to waste when they are expensive. It would be nice if the manufacturer offered more than one size. But I like the fact that they do disintegrate eventually, although in our dry climate it takes a while.
Over all, I find the products in your catalog too expensive for me, but they sure are pretty.
Comments about BioBags™:
Excellent aid to our kitchen composting!
Comments about BioBags™:
The BioBag has made what use to be a sometimes messy task into a much cleaner task. If you own a compost pail or want buy one make sure you get the BioBags.
Comments about BioBags™:
The best part of using these is that I don't have to carry my kitchen compost pail out of the house.
Comments about BioBags™:
The bag keeps my composter clean and allows me to remove kitchen scraps easily for tossing into my compost pile.
Comments about BioBags™:
I love these for keeping my counter top compost bucket clean and odor free, but they will not degrade in my outdoor compost bin. After leaving them in there for months at first, I finally fished them all out and put them in the trash. They might degrade in a very high heat compost or in a professional unit. I still like them for helping to deal neatly with kitchen scraps.
Comments about BioBags™:
Much better than the old bags. These don't split easily and they fit the ceramic compost container well.
Comments about BioBags™:
Kitchen composting
Comments about BioBags™:
These bags keep the compost pail clean, and seem to start the composting process under the sink, before the bag's contents makes it to the compost barrel.
Comments about BioBags™:
We sit our composter close to the trash can and it helps us to remember to use the compost pail. It is light weight and easy to remove from pail.

Comments about BioBags™:
The bags do help keep the pail order free and easy to clean. The bags are a bit flimsy and some tend to leak. Need to be very careful tearing them from the roll or they could tear. Wish the product was sturdier but better then no bag at all.
Comments about BioBags™:
Easier to transport scraps to compost bin outside
Comments about BioBags™:
Love these to line the compost crock on my kitchen counter. I just lift the whole thing out and toss it on the compost pile. A little pricey, but worth it.
Comments about BioBags™:
These bags are really nice. They fit the kitchen compost pail well. It's nice not to have to throw out the old plastic grocery bags I was using. I can't comment on the biogradability of the bag since I haven't used my compost yet. That's why I only gave it 4 stars.
Comments about BioBags™:
We use Bio-bags for composting kitchen scraps, coffee grounds, etc. They're quick and easy and compost quickly. We bought a compost jar for our two adult daughters and their families as well as a supply of bio-bags to get them started.
Comments about BioBags™:
I use these in my kitchen compost pail. It makes taking the compost out so easy and clean!
Comments about BioBags™:
The bags are especially nice in the winter, when it is so cold outside to stand and scrape the compost pail over the compost bin. Just take out the little bag and toss it in..perfect!
Comments about BioBags™:
I love the convenience of this product. I place one liner in my compost pail and it is easy to walk out to my compost pile every few days. Curiously, however, they must have some slight scent . . . my dog, Gus, is obsessed with the bags! Thankfully, he hasn't attacked the pail yet.
Comments about BioBags™:
These bags save me from having to empty and rinse out a container daily. I just gather up the bag and toss it into my compost barrel.
Comments about BioBags™:
The bags offer a clean and easy way to add kitchen scraps to my compost pile.
Comments about BioBags™:
I got a Stainless Steel Compost Bucket and these bags together. I should have done this years ago! The bags keep the bucket clean. There are two in this household and one bag usually holds about a week's worth of scraps for us. When I tie it up and take to the compost bin, I just have to wipe the inside of the bucket with a paper towel to get the mild moisture build up. Neat and clean and easy! I thought they were too expensive at first, but seeing how well they work has made me a customer for life. My only complaint is that the perforations between bags are not adequate. I end up cutting the bags apart with scissors to keep from tearing them. They ARE too expensive to waste any!
Comments about BioBags™:
Love having these bags in my new kitchen composter. They keep it clean and are easy to dispose of in the compost pile. I no longer have to fight with my teenager to get him to take it out!
Comments about BioBags™:
Easy and convenient to be "green."
Comments about BioBags™:
These bags are wonderful! The only down side is if you wait too long to take them to the compost pile, they will leak.
Comments about BioBags™:
It cutd down on trips to the compost pile.
Comments about BioBags™:
A much-needed "green" solution for household waste -- anything organic can just go into a BioBag spread like a trash bag inside a small waste container, then be dumped into an outdoor mulch spot (or into a receptacle for curbside organic waste pickup, for those areas that have such), bag and all. They will begin to leak fluid sometimes if they have a week's worth of food scraps / coffee grounds in them -- but that is because of its biodegradable nature! Thank you for making this product available.
Comments about BioBags™:
It is great that they compost quickly, but sometimes it is too quickly and you go to pick up the bag and it has biodegraded in the bottom of the compost bucket.
Comments about BioBags™:
I wondered if these bags would be worth it when I ordered and they really are. They are so strong and make it quick and easy to dispose of the kitchen scraps. And being biodegradable, I just toss them on the compost pile.
Comments about BioBags™:
Rolls are easy to store,
Comments about BioBags™:
These make composting kitchen scraps a snap and not messy!!! Do be careful tearing them off the roll, these are not plastic kitchen trash bags, so can split easily. If they do, they are so full, I just overlap the torn sides and still don't have a mess in my compost jar when I transfer the bag to my compost tumbler.
Comments about BioBags™:
They are too large for the stoneware compost pot I ordered. They hang out over the side and I feel they take away from the beauty of the pot. I will use them when I have large amounts of waste to dispose of and don't have room in my stoneware compost pot.
Comments about BioBags™:
These bags take all of the mess out of kitchen composting and since they are bio degradable there is no environmental waste. Wouldn't be without them.
Comments about BioBags™:
Use in Stainless compost pail, occasionally leaks- so beware. However, overall reduces cleaning of pail in general.
Comments about BioBags™:
Works great to collect kitchen scraps for my composter.
Comments about BioBags™:
We bought these so that we wouldn't have to wash out our compost bucket. They leak, so I still have to wash the bucket. Now I'm double bagging and it's a better. With having to use 2 at a time, and the high cost [...]-- this is an expensive way to go. They do have a large capacity though.
Comments about BioBags™:
I use these bags for kitchen waste so nothing goes down the garbage disposal.
Comments about BioBags™:
I use these bags in my kitchen compost crock and they fit the container well and are very convenient. However, I've had two or three break on me when I lifted them out which was nasty (I've used about 100 so far). My main issue with them is that they don't biodegrade very fast. When my compost is ready the bags are still virtually intact inside my compost tumbler. So now I only use them in the spring and summer when the compost matures faster.
Comments about BioBags™:
An ecologically sound way of disposing of kitchen waste products. Easy to use. Highest recommendation.
Comments about BioBags™:
collecting coffee grounds, egg shells, etc. is easier when you just plop them into the bag & not have to rinse out the container.
Comments about BioBags™:
The bags are a lot better than having to bang the pail. However, if you leave in over a few days, they will leak.
Comments about BioBags™:
Great product. Makes recycling food scraps easy.
Comments about BioBags™:
Keeps the kitchen waste bin clean. Too flimsy to carry out to the compost though. Have to take the entire bin and dump.
Comments about BioBags™:
I had seen some reviews that said these were flimsy and tore easily, but that has not been my experience. They do leak a little, but not so badly that I wouldn't use them again. I've filled them w/ probably 3lbs+ of foods scraps (a lot of potatoes that went bad) and it held. Haven't used them long enough to see if they compost well.
Comments about BioBags™:
Because I live in a condo, I use these bags to take my compost to our church compost bin.
Comments about BioBags™:
Use in my composter on my kitchen counter. Convenient and easy to dispose of in my composter. The only negative is that they sometimes tear when I try and separate a new one from the stack
Comments about BioBags™:
The container i was using was messy and not very nice to keep in my kitchen. I also hated washing it out. Then my friend told me about the compostable bags you sold. These bags totally solved my problems. They're easy to use and super easy to dispose of. They do feel flimsy when you remove them from the container; but i've yet to have one break. I think they're stronger than they appear! Great invention! I will continue to purchese these marvelous bags.
Comments about BioBags™:
This is my second order of bags....very handy for kitchen scraps headed for the compost pile.
Comments about BioBags™:
Easy was to collect kitchen scraps for composting. Although, it does take awhile for the bags to decompose completely.
Comments about BioBags™:
Emptying the compost pail is much quicker now and that's great in these cold winter temperatures!
Will leak a bit if you leave it in the pail too long and it starts to degrade some.
Comments about BioBags™:
Makes taking out the compost easier and cleaner, and cleaning up the pail easier. One drawback is that the bags will leak moisture, but much better than not using a liner at all. They also do not always compost completly, but we are more of a pile-it-up-and-let-it-rot composers, no mixing and fussing with the pile.
Comments about BioBags™:
Easy to get kids to empty compost into our outdoor composter, and don't have to wash collection point as often
Comments about BioBags™:
wife loves the bio-bags which she has been using for over two years.
Comments about BioBags™:
These bags are larger than the crock i purchased. To keep it neat looking, I keep all of the bag inside the crock so it doesn't hang over the edge.
Comments about BioBags™:
Great liners, easy to use, large capacity.
Comments about BioBags™:
The BioBags are helpful in removing the smell of decomposing food from my kitchen sink area... in the summer when the heat speeds up the process and in the winter when I can just throw the whole bag onto the compost pile and cover it with snow (and there's plenty of that this year!!).
Comments about BioBags™:
Very convienent. I have yet to see how it breaks down in composter
Comments about BioBags™:
Use as a liner to existing pail to prevent waste from sticking and sliming the pail. Easy lift out for disposal in outside compost. Been through my first 100, on my second.
Comments about BioBags™:
The bags are huge so they fit a lot and make composting really easy.
Comments about BioBags™:
These bags work well with the Crocks. Make taking out the compost easy! They seem to hold up well also.
Comments about BioBags™:
This is the first time I have ordered the BioBags, and I like them a lot. They are a good size for the compost bin I keep in my kitchen, they hold a lot more than I thought they would and everything is odor free. I only have to dump them into the outside composter about once a week. I will definitely be ordering more of them.
Comments about BioBags™:
I line a tall hand made compost pot with the bags and it's right next to my sink for easy use. I put a folded papertowel in the bottom of my compost pot as I found licquds at the bottom of the bag starts the bag breakdown. I empty weekly or when full. I ordered these for Christmas gifts this year.. I love not having to pick out plastic from my compost heap.
Comments about BioBags™:
works great, the bags I have put into the composter are starting to breakdown as I was turning my compost bin.
Comments about BioBags™:
The BIO BAGs are a great idea and I am glad they keep the cannister from damage. They are very easy to use. Thanks again for having these in you merchandise line with the cannister and filters.
Comments about BioBags™:
Makes emptying the compost pail a much neater affair. Seems to control odors too. No more rinsing out a nasty container. Now that I'm used to having them I wouldn't want to be without them.
Comments about BioBags™:
This product was better when they were the opaque color. When they changed them to the green color, they tear so easily that you have to be careful just infolding and getting them ready to put into your pail. They still work well and I use them all the time, but they were stronger before.
Comments about BioBags™:
I bought the bags to see if they would help keep the dog from getting into the compost and eating it. He has not gotten into the bags that are waiting for spring to turn into dirt
Comments about BioBags™:
I use them in a compost pail under the sink. I like the fact that they are made in Norway.
I also like that I can throw the whole bag into the compost pile and it will dissapear with the rest of the stuff--sometimes I just bury the whole thing into the garden soil.
The only thing I can say bad is that sometimes it leaks--but you carry your pail out anyway.
Comments about BioBags™:
Makes emptying my new compost bucket simple and tidy. Keeps smells contained too.
Comments about BioBags™:
Each day I can bag up my scraps and set them outside in a basket on my porch ountil I walk to the compost pile at the back of my yard. It saves our kitchen from unwanted fruit flies and smells.
Comments about BioBags™:
i wish there was a way to use these without them being exposed...maybe a matching color would be better.
Comments about BioBags™:
I line my kitchen compost bin with these. When they work well I can just lift them out and carry them to the compost bin and just dig them in. Sometimes they leak (or possibly condensation forms on the outside). Occasionally they tear when I'm removing them from the roll. Other than the waste this is not a big issue. Overall I find using them much easier than carrying out the pail each time. My husband thinks they degrade too slowly and empties them and puts them in the garbage. Note: because of the occasional leakage the pail does need to be washed frequently.
Comments about BioBags™:
This is a really neat product to make composting easier and neater. I have yet to observe how quickly the bags decompose over time. They last for several weeks in the bin though.
Comments about BioBags™:
Use bags to store garbage to take out to compost pile; certainly less messy!
Comments about BioBags™:
I have had a compost pail for some time, but until the biobags, it was always such a mess to clean, but not anymore.

Comments about BioBags™:
We use these bags to line our kitchen counter compost holder. They are wonderful because the decompose and they are made of natural ingredients so they don't poison our compost.
Sometimes they degrade too quickly so we have to carry the pail out to the composter, but that's no big deal.
Comments about BioBags™:
These bags make emptying the kitchen compost so much easier.
Their only drawback is that they are a bit flimsy & we double them up in our compost container.
We still love them!
Comments about BioBags™:
These bags make composting kitchen scraps a snap. My compost pail stays clean and the bag goes right into my Bokashi composter. The bags are big enough for my larger counter top composting pail. A knot tied in the bag keeps it nicely in place while the pail fills.
Comments about BioBags™:
I could not believe how strong these bags are. I used 1 from 12-25-10 to 01-03-11 and no leaking or tearing. A little pricey but very useful to get to the compost pile.
Comments about BioBags™:
Great liners - and compostable! Thank you for carrying these.
Comments about BioBags™:
They make disposal of even messy compost a snap IF I remember to take them out with about 5 days-otherwise they begin to compost themselves and leak.
Comments about BioBags™:
I like the size of the bag because now I don't have to keep getting a new plastic bag. I like the fact that the whole thing goes into the compost. I did not like dumping the scraps and ending up with a smelly plastic bag. Ick!

Comments about BioBags™:
The size of these bags is what attracted me to them. They are larger than my sink-top disposal bucket and will work very well. I have not actually started using them yet, but have every confidence that they will get the job done.
Comments about BioBags™:
I use these bags in my kitchen composter. When it is full, I simply pull it out and take it to the big composter outside. The only problem I have with these bags is that they tear easily, so I just have to be careful when handling. Sure helps with cleanup!
Comments about BioBags™:
Better than others.
Comments about BioBags™:
Works well.
Comments about BioBags™:
I use it for my kitchen scraps and it is a handy, non-smelly way to compile them for my composter.
Comments about BioBags™:
These bags take the mess out of composting your garbage.

Comments about BioBags™:
I use these all the time. My only complaint is that I feel they are too expensive for what they are.
Comments about BioBags™:
the bags could be a wee bit larger. They JUST fit over the compost bucket. They hold together well when full.
Comments about BioBags™:
We use these bags in our composting jar. It makes it easy to keep/remove kitchen scraps from our composting jar; eliminates a lot of the mess. They decompose quickly leaving no residue behind.
Comments about BioBags™:
I was using product for a year, but every time I turned the compost pile the bags were intact. They never decomposed.
Comments about BioBags™:
eliminates fruit flies
Comments about BioBags™:
I love the bio-bags. It has all but elimated the yuck in the bottom of the pail. Making kitchen composting easier to keep and take to my outsided unit.
Comments about BioBags™:
I use this product with the copper compost bin that I also purchased. It makes life so much easier to have the bags so you don't have to constantly clean the bin out. I haven't seen how they degrade in the compost pile, but so far I'm impressed with them.
Comments about BioBags™:
Great for lining the kitchen compost pail and does really eliminate scrubbing. Just rinse the pail and dry before inserting a fresh bag. The fact that the bag top needs to hang over the outside of the compost pail is a little untidy looking but it is worth it. Rate of breakdown of the bag in the outdoor compost seems to be related closely to the moisture level and temperature of the pile (more is better).
Comments about BioBags™:
The bags I just recently received are visibly different than the last order and I am hoping that they biodegrade faster than the old green ones. My compost has large unattractive scraps of green plastic in it after over a year in the bin. I find this most undesireable.
Comments about BioBags™:
I used to sometimes just trash the compostables because I didn't want to deal with the "yuck" factor -- things like winter squash pulp, for example. These bags make me a better environmentalist by making it so neat and easy to compost everything. I don't know how I got along without them!
Comments about BioBags™:
these bags are wonderful. I was using paper , too messy but could throw in compost. then I used plastic grocery bags but that got really disgusting to empty and then would have to throw it in the garbage. these are a perfect solution!
Comments about BioBags™:
I use this for my kitchen scraps. I live in the woods and on a septic tank. Using this product lets me carry it over to my compost bin with ease.
Comments about BioBags™:
Have been using these bags for the last few weeks for the first time. Dumping the compost usually meant washing out crock. Now I just dump compost and biodegradable bags into our compost pile. Still waiting to see how quickly the bags break down.
Comments about BioBags™:
These bags fit perfectly in my ceramic composter. They don't puncture easily or leak. I was skeptical that they would degrade. When I turned my compost pile this fall, I was happy to see that I was wrong.
Comments about BioBags™:
so easy to use
Comments about BioBags™:
I love the idea. Sometimes it works well and sometimes not. The bags tear easily when trying to remove one from the roll so care must be taken not to ruin it. Don't over stuff your compost pail and it works well. I love it when I can take it out without the pail but I usually don't due to leaking. It often depends on what you put in the bag. I suggest crushing egg shells before putting them in the bag. My pail does not get emptied everyday and that probably makes a difference.
Comments about BioBags™:
I use these bags all the time in my kitchen compost container. They work great. They decompose quickly in the compost pile.
Comments about BioBags™:
Love these bags. I was hesitant due to the cost but they are worth every penny. Love how easy it is to compost now!

he bags fall apart on the edges and leak into the container.
Comments about BioBags™:
Use in kitchen compost pot - no more goop in bottom!

Comments about BioBags™:
Can take waste straight to compost pile without having to clean sticky, smelly stuff from compost pail.
Comments about BioBags™:
Will definitely keep these on hand and get some for the Kids's compost piles.
Comments about BioBags™:
Capacity is good but I still can not tell how long it takes to completely decompose as I still see several bags inside the composter.
Comments about BioBags™:
I use these bags all the time. Liquids do leak out, but I try to limit them.
Comments about BioBags™:
These make for easy disposal of kitchen scraps.
Saves cleaning out the pail every time.
Comments about BioBags™:
I'm great so far in producing bagfuls of scraps to add to my compost but need to move on to the next step of actually using the compost generated in the garden! Obviously I have a way to go to become a master gardener but I'm enjoyying the baby steps.
Comments about BioBags™:
We use the bio bags for under the sink garbage collection
Comments about BioBags™:
Great idea that makes composting much more manageable. My sole complaint is that they leak just a bit.
Comments about BioBags™:
This has become my method to dispose of kitchen waste. This keeps waste out of the garbage and produces very usable compost for the garden.
Comments about BioBags™:
I like these bags, they make composting a lot easier on your kitchen. They don't break down quickly, that is true, but I am sure they will dissolve soon enough. The convenience makes them worth the wait.
Comments about BioBags™:
Biobags work well and are easy to use. However, for a two-person household, we don't fill it fast enough and they tend to start breaking down by the end of a week. They are still a good product. I will buy more.
Comments about BioBags™:
Although these are very thin, I love the idea of just picking up the bag out of the compost canister when it's full. The capacity is very generous as well.
Comments about BioBags™:
Very attractive on my counter, no nasty odors, doesn't leak, etc. Love the liners too as they can be put right in the compost bins. The bags do leak but that's to be expected. I wish this came in a larger size - I have the stainless steel one. We are farmers, lots of fresh peels, need more capacity. Thanks for the product, great idea and I love it.
Comments about BioBags™:
It makes composting so easy.
Comments about BioBags™:
WOW! I don't have to scrub a yucky compost bucket anymore! I love being able to take this whole bag to the compost pile and dump it without the compost bucket mess! I'm SO glad I bought these!
Comments about BioBags™:
I use these bags to contain all kinds of kitchen scraps in my compost pail. It does a great job of containing everything, including liquids, without breaking down in the pail. They will take a few weeks to break down once you move them to the compost pile, FYI. Great product!
Comments about BioBags™:
The best thing about these bags is I no longer have compost clinging on my compost bucket, which makes washing the bucket much nicer. There is always liquid in the bottom, maybe from condensation or leaking, but that's not a problem in my mind. They also break down well in our compost building. You have to be a bit careful when tearing it off the roll, or it may rip.
Comments about BioBags™:
In our area the city has delivered large green bins & small green pails for kitchen scraps. These bags fit perfectly in the pail they delivered & are easily transferred to the large bin for pickup.
Comments about BioBags™:
I keep a bio-bag in my compost pail at all times. They are the best thing since "sliced bread"--they hold up well, do not leak and can be lifted out to the compost pile and or composter without any mess. The bio-bag does not let any of the odors remain and permeate the plastic compost pail. Excellent product!!!!
Comments about BioBags™:
I use it in my kitchen compost container,
it is strong enough and fits well.
Comments about BioBags™:
Have been using for several years and am very satisfied with its performance
Comments about BioBags™:
Keeps my compost bucket clean so I don't have to wash it each time. Bags leak a little, so I put a folded paper towel in the bottom of the bucket and throw it in the compost bag when I take it to the composter.
Comments about BioBags™:
Less messy than no liner. Breaks down quickly; a plus for the environment, a minus for leakage. We use them all the time
Comments about BioBags™:
The new bags are stronger than the older ones you use to carry
Comments about BioBags™:
Easy to collect scraps from the kitchen
Comments about BioBags™:
This makes the little fireplug composter pail useful, without having to clean it every time. Great product, as is the composter pail.
Comments about BioBags™:
I really liked my initial order of this product. The composted quickly and disappeared. My most recent purchase is not that way. They do not compost fully and we keep finding scraps of the bags in compost we are using. Somewhat disappointed with the latest product.
Comments about BioBags™:
These bags work great and composte fast! Make sure to take out the scraps on a weekly basis! Great Idea
Comments about BioBags™:
I like that I didn't have so much of a mess in the pail.
Comments about BioBags™:
Very unhappy with this product. Will not re-order.
Comments about BioBags™:
Very helpful...less mess
Comments about BioBags™:
Had to remove them from the compost as they were still intack. Prefer to use zip lock bags and then empty them into the compost.
Comments about BioBags™:
GENEROUS CAPACITY

Comments about BioBags™:
I have a compost bucket or two but do not use them, as I keep a compost-Bio-Bag bag in the freezer. Add coffee grounds, fruit or veggie peelings, whatever you want in your compost pile, into the bag and place back into freezer. As the quick cold takes over, the new additions do not leak. When full, take out and toss onto compost pile. It will defrost onto the pile. I always add a few handfuls of dirt or other available compost on top to get things started.
Comments about BioBags™:
I use these for fruit and veggie wastes from the kitchen, my unbleached coffee filter and grinds, egg shells, etc. I have had no trouble with leaking and it's wonderful to be able to pull the entire bag and toss it in the compost pile and not even have to wash my crock. I have a compost pile I started this fall that is active and turned it after two weeks and found no bags. The time saving of no mess in the kitchen to clean up make these worth the price.
Comments about BioBags™:
I use the bio bags for my kitchen scraps. They are great. They help keep odor down & makes emptying the bucket & clean up a breeze. I would defineltely recommend this product to a friend.
Comments about BioBags™:
I love these bags, they do the job well. I just walk them out to my compost pile and the bag and all just goes in. I havent yet seen how well they will biodegrade, time will tell on that one.

Comments about BioBags™:
These bags are great for making an easy clean-up. However, the bags do leak and I would not be able to carry the bag alone to the composter - I must take the bucket. All that's needed with a bag change is to rinse out the bucket.
Comments about BioBags™:
I use them as dog poop collector when walking him. It composts well and I feel great that I can lessen my impact on the enviroment.
Comments about BioBags™:
These bags hold a great amount of kitchen waste. It would be nice if they were clear or white instead of green since my kitchen composter is white. I have found that they leak when materials such as coffee grounds are placed in the composter, but overall love that I can place the bag and its contents in my compost bin.
Comments about BioBags™:
perfect liner for my compost pail
Comments about BioBags™:
It does the job, and cuts down on the mess
Comments about BioBags™:
It doesn't work as a liner for the kitchen compost pail, since it quickly develops leaks, but it does help get the compost out of the pail easily and does not stick to the pail. It doesn't compost very quickly in the bin, but becomes porous enough to do no harm.
Comments about BioBags™:
Very hand to keep on the kitchen counter so you remember to use it. The biodegradable factor is a real plus.
Comments about BioBags™:
We haven't had any seepage or breaking bags. We don't feel the bags are too flimsy, because any thicker would make breakdown longer. My husband simply pokes through the bag as he's stirring the compost pile. This causes quicker composting of the bag and contents. We love the bags and will continue to use them.
Comments about BioBags™:
These bags are OK. They make emtying the compost crock a lot easier, but they do leak slightly and you have to rinse the crock out every time.
Comments about BioBags™:
it keeps compost odor-free and mess-free. this is a product i originally bought as an indulgence, but ended up falling in love with its ease and usefulness.
Comments about BioBags™:
These work well. They don't really disintegrate well but I put the bags on top in my worm bin instead of paper to keep it moist and bug free.
Comments about BioBags™:
This makes the kitchen composting so much easier and tidier! Just put in the canister, and then when full, take it out to the bin.
Comments about BioBags™:
Doesn't hold in the liquid but does keep the inside of the countertop composter from getting sticky with solids.
Comments about BioBags™:
I like these bags to line my kitchen compost pail. The only problem I have with them is that if I throw coffee grounds into the pail and then I don't empty it within a few days it will leak coffee. It's not really a big deal to me though,I just carry the whole pail out to empty it and then rinse out my pail. Much better than no bag at all, and it is really quite durable otherwise, I don't think anyone can expect a compostable bag to hold in liquids for any period of time. I will continue to use these bags....!
Comments about BioBags™:
As someone who eats a lot of veggies, I was glad to finally find an easy way to recycle kitchen scraps with little fuss or fanfare. The biodegradable liners for my counter-top composting container were ideal. My only negative comment has to do with the size of the bags. My counter-top container is small but the only liners I found online were twice the size. Other than that, good product.
Comments about BioBags™:
Easy removal and disposal
Comments about BioBags™:
I was a little wary of these due to other input that they were flimsy. I didn't have that problem. The bag size is alittle large for the crock but works fine. No leaks whatsoever. I carry the crock out to the compost with the bag and have had no problems. This eliminate a lot of cleanup. Very handy.
Comments about BioBags™:
I use the bags every day. They certainly are less messy and I can dump the entire contents of my compost bucket into the composter. However, as I stir compost I can still see bags which must have been there a long time. I wonder if they don't take a long, long time to degrade. That's fine, as long as they DO degrade. I'll continue to buy/use.
Comments about BioBags™:
I no longer have to scrub the pail after I dump it. If you empty contents into your bin, then throw in the bag, you don't have to wait for the bag to break down before composting can begin.
Comments about BioBags™:
I have been disappointed that these bags remain uncomposted long after all the food materials have broken down.
Comments about BioBags™:
The first ones I used off the roll tended to leak but as I got further into the roll, they did not. They do disintegrate pretty quickly and hold just enough for about 1 week in my small compost pail.
Comments about BioBags™:
Needs to be emptied every 2 days or starts to sme..
Comments about BioBags™:
Worked great for getting compost to the compost heap, but in my small, not very hot compost the bags didn't break down -- even after a year! Just tossed a bunch of bags in the trash.
Comments about BioBags™:
Biobags make composting kitchen scraps easy and effortless.
Comments about BioBags™:
I am able to use my counter scrap container again. No mess, easy to use. Perfect for keeping your kitchen tidy.
Comments about BioBags™:
use these Biobags with my copper compost pail and it keeps the whole composting experience cleaner and neater. Extends the life of the compost pail too.
Comments about BioBags™:
The first time I used one of these bage, I waited several days to take it to the composter. True to it's promise, it is definitely biodegradable. The bag had already started to "melt" and that one time I definitely had to wash out my bucket. Now I take my garbage, bag and all, out to the composter every day or two. It is really a time and work saver. I have been looking for a product of this type since I started composting a couple of years ago.
Comments about BioBags™:
These really do clean up one of the messiest jobs in my kitchen. The bag should be changed more than once a week because it does start to break down, which is a good thing.
Comments about BioBags™:
I've used these liner bags for years and like that they cut down on the mess from collecting compostable kitchen scraps. I don't find that it's true that there is no need to carry out the pail to the compost pile because the bags do leak once they are filled with scraps. However the fact that they are biodegradable certainly makes up for that.
Comments about BioBags™:
I really like these bags and have used them for years. It's unfortunate, as others have pointed out, that they do leak after a few days with wet things like coffee grounds in them. And I've had problems with the bags ripping as I carefully tear them from the roll. All in all, though, the size is good for a one person home and they keep those pesky fruit flies away.
Comments about BioBags™:
I really like that the bags are biodegradable. They hold about 2 weeks worth of kitchen scraps at our house, then go right into the compost heap!
Comments about BioBags™:
Line my ceramic compost container. It's so easy to carry to the compost pile. Just place it in and wait for bag and its contents to break down. Waiting to see how long it will take for the bag to breakdown. Composting is being kind to our environment. I've been doing it for years and now it's even easier.
Comments about BioBags™:
I love these bags. They are a little flimsy at the top, tear apart carefully, but the are just the right size, no smell when used with my compost pail and charcoal insert. I really do use them and make much needed compost for my rocky soil here.
Comments about BioBags™:
This only place i could find the right size
Comments about BioBags™:
USE IT EVERYDAY - NO ODOR - SOMETIMES BUT NOT OFTEN THE BAG HAS RIPPED WHILE I WAS OPENING IT.
Comments about BioBags™:
Great idea and they are large enough to hold quite a bit. However, they do slowly leak and I still need to thoroughly clean the pail they are used in.
Comments about BioBags™:
I use the bio bags in a kitchen crock next to the kitchen sink. The bags work well most of the time, with occasional leaks. Seems if I remove / replace the bag every two or three days, the bags hold up better. They don't compost as quickly as I would like them too, though.
Comments about BioBags™:
Less mess when preparing vegetables for meals.
Comments about BioBags™:
These bags a marvelous. They sit great in my compost pail, they keep the pail clean and odor free, and compost quickly. Extra bonus: I don't have to touch the compost at all when I empty my pail. Perfect for my house.
Comments about BioBags™:
I hate garbage; I love BioBags. The BioBags make it easy to get the kitchen scraps out of sight, out of "smell" and off my mind without plastic guilt.
Comments about BioBags™:
Great for keeping compost can cleaner. Can throw into compost pile too.
Comments about BioBags™:
Used for kitchen scraps. Good idea. Attractive crock. Liquid leaked in crock leaving terrible odor and had to be scrubbed. Trying to think of another use.

Comments about BioBags™:
These bags are fine if you fill up your kitchen compost scrap container quickly, but if the scraps sit in the bag for a day or two, the bag itself begins to compost and leaks. I was very disappointed by this, as I thought the bags would be a great convenience. I would not buy these again.
[1 of 1 customers found this review helpful]
Comments about BioBags™:
These are a great idea, however I feel that they break down or leak if I have too many coffe grounds in the bag. They start to break down before I have emptied the bag out of the bin sometimes if any of the scraps are moist. I will probably not reorder them since I have to wash the container every time anyway.
Comments about BioBags™:
Anything and everything that can be composted from my kitchen goes into my compost pail. Before getting the bio bags emptying the pail and rinsing it was quite the chore, especially during the winter months. No more mess, no more rinsing and scrubbing. Thank you Gardener's for a wonderful product.
Comments about BioBags™:
I use this product in my copper bucket.
Comments about BioBags™:
Using these bags I don't have to spend so much time cleaning the compost pail.

Comments about BioBags™:
excellent product
Comments about BioBags™:
Makes emptying my kitchen compost pail so much easier
Comments about BioBags™:
used to collect coffee grounds and filters as well as vegetable scraps in my kitchen compost cannister. I thought the liner would permit me to skip washing the cannister but, because the bags leak, I have to wash the cannister after every time I dump the load into the composter.
Comments about BioBags™:
HAvent used it long enough to tell if it composts quickly, but they're easy to use and handy. Keeps from having to do that noxious job of cleaning the compost pail.

Comments about BioBags™:
Very happy with the bags.
Comments about BioBags™:
Great for storing food scraps to compost but bags don't decompose, even after two years. We had to break the bags to compost the food.
Comments about BioBags™:
The BioBags are great for the kitchen crock but when we place them in our large composters they are not been composting. Six months later they are still intact mixed throughout the compost. Great for the kitchen counter size daily compost crocks but not when we move that to the outdoors compost.
Comments about BioBags™:
They are extremely easy to use, and make the collection of kitchen food scraps tolerable even for my husband. The trip to the outside composter is no longer a messy and noxious one and they make cleanup easy. They look fragile but are surprisingly sturdy. I will continue using these and have already recommended them to friends. Five stars.

Comments about BioBags™:
I use the biobags in my compost pail very convenient and useful
Comments about BioBags™:
Keeps the kitchen compost pail clean. The bags lap over the sides just enough to have a rubber band hold them in place.
Comments about BioBags™:
these bags dissolved before a day of use especially if anything wet ie: coffee grounds, moist peels is used in them.
Comments about BioBags™:
Handy with Kitchen scraps and easily composts. Does leak when it gets wet which is one reason it easily composts.
Comments about BioBags™:
It makes it easy to empty the compost container and my kitchen scrap pile keeps going down
Comments about BioBags™:
Makes it easy to put scraps in composter & is neat. No messy cleanup.
Comments about BioBags™:
It is a great concept - the bags begin to break down when kitchen scraps are added and when it is time to transport to the composter, they are leaking and no longer have the ability to hold the contents. Suggestion - transfer to a bowl then carry them both to the composter.
Comments about BioBags™:
Using the Biobags for compost scraps keeps my kitchen trash cleaner and odor free. As an avid gardener I use the compost as fertilizer to grow healthy plants.
Comments about BioBags™:
As many others have said, these bags work great until you put something wet in them (like coffee grounds). Unfortunately, that's the majority of what we compost from the kitchen! If you're mostly using them for fruit rinds and other dry kitchen scraps, though, they're great.
Comments about BioBags™:
Does compost quickly so you need to change bags before they start leaking or if you add a lot of wet scraps; is odor free, holds a lot (preferably dry waste); I usually use two bags as one seems to tear off the roll and I sprinkled used baking soda in the bottom of the pail to catch any drips or leaks; I use the plastic pail attached to the inside of my under sink cabinet and it fills up quickly! MUCH better than plastic bags
Comments about BioBags™:
These bags are great. Not only do they keep my Compost Crock clean, but I also use them for cleaning out my refrigerator fruit and vegetable bins. I just take a bag with me to the fridge and throw unusable fruits and veggies in the bag. The bags hold up well and makes it easy to throw my kitchen scraps into the compost bin.
Comments about BioBags™:
Used for coffee grounds and kitchen waste but it leaked.
Comments about BioBags™:
Makes it easy to lift the compost from the crock and off to the compost pile. I love using them.
Comments about BioBags™:
These bags are pretty great, until you put in something wet. Otherwise, they held up for a while until the weekly compost drop-off. A little small.
Comments about BioBags™:
Makes composting fun.
Comments about BioBags™:
The only negative is that you need to change daily or they will leak
Comments about BioBags™:
Great product, use several each seek.
Comments about BioBags™:
Great product. Contains my compostable material and makes it easy to transport to the compost pile. I have found that if you add liquid items (coffee grounds, wet fruit skins, etc., the bags do saturate easily and will drip. I solve that by taking the entire compost pail out, and then discarding the bag and contents outdoors.
Comments about BioBags™:
A great product. We love being able to produce our own compost but cleaning out the crock every time was a bummer. These bags really do the trick and it I love them!
Comments about BioBags™:
I used to collect compostable items from my kitchen is a recycled grocery store bag and then empty them into the composter.....messy,smelly, and then I still had to dispose of the plastic bag. These composter bags used as a liner in one of your stainless steel collectors makes the whole process clean and easy with little odor. This is a great product.

Comments about BioBags™:
Tear bags off strip slowly and carefully to avoid tearing into the bag. Discard to compost pile frequently.
Comments about BioBags™:
I use these bags everyday and have my neighbors using them too (I reap the benefits of their scraps until they set up their own compost pile!). My neighbors freeze their scraps in these bags and when I pick them up from them they are easy to transport and they compost more quickly than raw scraps. When the bags leak, I carry out the kitchen pot (no biggie); my neighbors use another plastic bag to store the leaky bags in the freezer...win win....you really can't beat this product!
Comments about BioBags™:
I generally like this product. Towards the end of the roll, the bags were tearing up. I still have to take the crock with me, but the crock is easier to clean.
Comments about BioBags™:
These work well in a kitchen compost pail
Comments about BioBags™:
An excellent product - just need to remember to dump daily or every other day at most as a few in each roll will leak.
This is my third time to order and we've been satisfied every time!
Comments about BioBags™:
Keeps the mess down!
Comments about BioBags™:
I love these bags because they minimize the clean up I have to do. I throw one in my compost bucket, fill it up, then walk it out to the composter. It's really that easy!
Comments about BioBags™:
These bags hold a lot of kitchen scraps awaiting transport to the compost pile. They are surprisingly quick to disappear from the pile. I guess the price you pay for that is they are a little flimsy and sometimes break before you get there--handle with care and they are fine!
Comments about BioBags™:
This is the answer to my problem. I hated emptying the plastic bags into the compost and then carrying the slimy wet bag to the garbage can to dispose of it. Great product.
Comments about BioBags™:
Love the bags! They make compost removal from my crock so neat and clean. Seems to help control odor too. The bags are large and hang out of my crock which is not as attractive, but I love not having to clean the stinky sludge out of my crock.
Comments about BioBags™:
These bags are great but a bit too large for my compost crock. I wish they came in different sizes for the different style crocks. They're a bit pricey but a great help and prevents you from having to clean out your crock when it is time to empty! Best of all...they're biodegradable!!!
Comments about BioBags™:
These bags are handy; however, you will not want to put coffee grounds or other liquid stuff in them for a long period of time, because they do leak. I believe mostly due to their composting ability. Anyway, I also have to put a rubberband around the top to keep it from falling in, which is really no big deal. Overall I would recommend you try them and see for yourself if you like them. I do plan on buying more.
Comments about BioBags™:
The bags are great in the kitchen crock. I left scraps in for over a week and had some leakage from the bag but I should empty the crock more often. There is no odor when used with the filters. The bags will get pricey if you empty the crock often.
Comments about BioBags™:
Works well for all my kitchen composting. I am glad that I tried them and will buy them again.
Comments about BioBags™:
Our "soil" comes in small, medium and half-ton size so composting is a necessity to grow plants. This product is so usefull and convient year round to make composting quick and painless.
Comments about BioBags™:
I just received my new order of bio-bags in hopes that they will perform better than my last batch, which frequently tore when coming off the roll. I lost perhaps 10% of the bags from my last order due to such tearing.
Comments about BioBags™:
I wanted something easy that I could use with a simple plastic container in my kitchen for orange rinds, coffee grounds, and banana peels. These bags work beautifully and I was pleasantly surprised at their size. I just drop my scraps in and at the end of the week--or two, depending on how much I've collected--I drop the bag, scraps and all into my composter. Quick, easy and ecologically friendly--you just can't beat it.
Comments about BioBags™:
Glad to find a bag that will decompose with the compost, I don't have to use the grocery store plastic bags and clutter our landfills. I just bought them this year so I have yet to see how well or quickly they decompose.
Comments about BioBags™:
I use these bags for kitchen waste - the bags leak. I have to carry them to the compost bin in my kitchen pail. There is always liquid in the bottom of my pail which really stinks!!! I empty this waste once per wk - and do not add liquids- the liquids come from the juices of veggies/fruits. I have to throughly wash the pail after each emptying due to leakage liquids.
Comments about BioBags™:
Attractive enough for counter top and easy to use. Keeps smell in and bugs out. Easy to dispose of bag and clean the compost bucket. HAVE PURCHASED SOME FOR OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS.
Comments about BioBags™:
Use in ceramic compost container under the sink until time to transfer to compost bin.
Comments about BioBags™:
Love the product
Love the feel
Comments about BioBags™:
I have the green ceramic compost pail and use these bags religiously. It's SO nice to be able to grab the bag & toss it on our compost pile (though from a distance it looks like we're trying to compost diapers - the neighbors are confused!).
I've torn bags trying to yank them out. A little side-to-side wiggling will get them out intact - just don't pack everything down, trying to get as much as possible into each bag. It's not worth it.
Comments about BioBags™:
I love these bags. They are soft and can be tucked in without sticking together.
Comments about BioBags™:
They make composting exceptionally easier, eliminating odor and fruit flies.I even had a visiting bear right next to my compost pail that didn't disturb it at all.
I use the BioBags for household waste baskets also.

Comments about BioBags™:
Handy to use-and-toss, but they do drip a bit and the bag is way bigger than my foot-high kitchen compost pail, so that even when the pail is packed full, i seem to have about 50% too much "bag" for it when i go to toss it into my garden compost bin. Also it's hilarious how it gets wrapped around my winged compost aerator. Still, i'd rather deal with these minor "problems" than to be cleaning my little compost pail all the time. Glad i bought them!
Comments about BioBags™:
Other than being difficult to open (at times), BioBags are truly wonderful. They are light weight but strong with tremendous capacity. They biodegrade reasonably and are inexpensive. You can't do much better than that.
Comments about BioBags™:
I put the scraps from preparing a meal in the bag and stick it in the freezer til I'm ready to take it all, neatly packaged, to the compost bin. It's so convenient to add more until the bag is full. No mess, no smell, no handing rotting stuff! Just take the frozen bag to the bin, drop it in, and cover it up. These bags are great; I use it everyday and gave some to my daughter. Thanks for making it easy!
Comments about BioBags™:
They keep my composte container in the Kitchen clean!
Comments about BioBags™:
Lots less mess, but not sturdy enough to take only bag to compost area. I still carry the bucket out.
Comments about BioBags™:
Very nice to not have to scrub out the compost bin after every use. But they do compost rather slowly, and we still see bits of bag left even when the compost itself is ready to use after many months.
Comments about BioBags™:
Too early to tell yet as haven't turned compost to assure that BioBags are breaking down as advertised. Should know in another 4-6 weeks. Beginning is promising in kitchen. Would like them in color to match container crock if colorizing can be accomplished in bio-friendly manner (green color does not match my blue crock or kitchen decor base which is blue).
Comments about BioBags™:
No more messy bowls of kitchen scraps to empty into the compost pile. I just pile up all yard waste and let it compost on its own and simply dig a hole and add the bag with kitchen scraps.
Comments about BioBags™:
I've been a life-long composter but one of the most "hated" jobs was cleaning the dirty, smelly pail I kept under the kitchen sink to collect kitchen scraps. So, when I saw the BioBags in your catalog, I ordered them immediately. Yes, the pail still has to be cleaned but it's no longer the dreaded job it once was. I'm amazed at how really strong the BioBags are. I've never had one tear. However, the user does need to guard against adding extremely liquid materials.
Comments about BioBags™:
It can leak when there is alot of coffee grounds in there, and I fill it to the max. Other wise I love the bags, they are great and save me alot of time when I need to run my compost to the compost outside. Keeps things clean and nice in my kitchen.
Comments about BioBags™:
These bags work great. I've never had them break or leak before getting them to the compost bin. They're a good size so you don't have to run to the compost pile constantly, but not too big where you're tempted to wait too long and things get icky. Love that they compost right along with the scraps.
