I bought the 7 and 11 gallon tub trug and love them both. The 11 gallon size is great for carrying around the yard while I'm deadheading and cleaning out beds. Because of its light weight and the way the handles can be pulled together it's easy to carry with no strain on my back. I've also used it for cookouts; you can ice down a lot of drinks in this size.

I love these handy carry alls. I use them to mix and carry soil, gather yard waste, carry small garden tools, and more. They also catch rain water which I use for watering plants. The colors are cheerful. I have now had four of these. The one and only problem I encountered is that one cracked as I was using it in freezing weather.

I bought three of the largest sizes to use as toy boxes for all the toys I have for my grandchildren. The tubtrugs are soft and lightweight, and I stack them up even with toys in them. The colors are helpful in sorting- cars in one color, dolls in another, etc. The toddlers love to choose which one to bring to the play area. My only wish is that there was an even larger size to curtail all the large outside toys we have.

I bought my first tub to use under my leaf mulcher - as I'd seen it pictured in your catalog. It fit well - but I soon found other uses for it - so I bought two more. It is a great size for gathering the leaves and debris to mulch, and I like how I can bend it so leaves don't blow out when I empty it. I find it a perfect size for garden clean-up as it is not too heavy or bulky for me to carry. When I have a crowd, I use it in the kitchen to hold fruit and veggie peelings, seeds, etc., to be composted. It is so pretty and easy to clean-up to bring inside!

I cannot believe that I have used cardboard boxes all these years and this tubtrug was available. It makes it easy to put items, even rose branches, into the paper refuse bags needed in my town to be picked up by the garbage company. I can also see where this tub would work in picnic application with alot ice to keep drinks cold.

I use the tubtrug to collect garden waste, and it is perfect for over-wintering cannas. With so many colors I can put pink ones in a pink container, yellow in yellow, etc. Their light weight is of benefit to me as I am limited in how much I can lift and carry.I garden from a rolling stool and so having a light container makes everything so much easier.

I have three large ones and a couple of the small ones. The 11 gallon is about the most useful "tool" in the garden. I mix soil in it, weed with it, collect cuttings in it, carried bricks in it and soaked my bare root roses before planting in it. I like that its flexible and, with the bright colors, is pretty hard to lose. Great place to store garden tools at days end. Oh, I was also able to make a good size circle in the ground by tracing around it for a fountain pad.

This tubtrug is just the ticket for yardwork! Incredibly sturdy, and just the right size for yard debris, mixing soil, etc. I was helping a friend carry some heavy loads of debris to the curb, and we could manage easily be each taking a handle. I have used the pop-up tip bags in the past, but they don't usually last for more than a season. This is a much better product. I also like that it is flexible, for "pouring", whether it is clippings into a yard bag, or soil into a planting hole. Great colors too.

Fill with potting soil and pot from the tub, easier than working from the bag and spilling or losing soil. Bought one last year (my first). I love the trugs. I have them in a couple of sizes and the bright colors really light up my garage and garden. I use them for so many things. My only issue is with the handles. Although they are easy to carry, the handles broke off after a couple of years. I use my garden trug exclusively for holding and transporting weed waste. I bought my first one about four years ago and find that it is light weight and comfortable to carry. I use a liner of a black trash bag and when it is full, I just tie it up, pull it from the trug and set the bag out for the trash truck. I don't compost weeds. I have the largest size trug, and you'd be surprised how fast a pile of weeds collects. I bought the second trug to mix top soil, composted mulch and composted cow manure in. I plan to put this mixture in handfuls on the low places of my gardens, where the soil has settled over the years. I am using the second trug as a receptacle to replace the function of a wheel barrow, since I am not strong enough to handle a wheel barrow.

It's still too early in the gardening season for me to have gotten much use out of my trugs. I do use the little one to catch rainwater and snow for some indoor plants. I love everything about this tub. I had bought one for a gift for my daughter and had to have one for myself. It isn't even outside garden time here in NY and I've used it several times. I have several of these in different sizes and colors and use them for almost any garden task you can think of-- from soaking bare root plants to hauling rocks or carrying flowers/veggies to the kitchen. It is not weather resistant in cold weather. I made the mmistake of leaving it out one cold night and it had reained prior to a freeze and when the water froze it cracked the trug but you generously replaced it and I am very happy. I have bought several for myself and many for gifts.

I bought a trugtub for myself to use for mixing soil for my potted plants. It came in handy for weeding and for harvesting vegetables and herbs from my garden, too. The only con I can find is that my aunt keep trying to take them from me. Sometimes all you need is something like this in the garden or even if you go to the beach. When I take my walks I pick trash on the beach and now I can pick up more if I have too.

The tubtrugs are safe enough to use as feed tubs and water buckets They "give" if a horse accidentaly steps on it, and they are so tough even our horses don't seem to be able to destroy them! I just love these colorful "tubtrugs" - there are so many uses and they are so pretty. I use them to gather leaves, move compost, store extra soil, etc. etc. Also, our basement started leaking this year after a heavy heavy rain and these were great for carrying out the soaked blankets I used to get the water out. They are easy to use, with strong handles, and are very flexible for pouring stuff out or getting stuff in. The price isn't bad [...]they last for years, through heat and cold, rain and sun. Like I said, I just love them, and can always use more.

Just today, separated bulbs for planting , tulips,daffy, crocus etc. then used others to hold weeds and mulch while readying beds for planting: 6 trugs in all. Had to replace the one I had for years - I just wore it out. Could not garden without it. Use it when weeding, carrying compost/soil when planting, place potting soil in it when potting up plants, transporting plants when divinding, anything imaginable and I use it. These tubs are fabulous for lugging debris from the garden to the trash, mixing potting soil and transporting mulch etc. The BIG disappointment is that of three tubs that I have had in use for about two years, 5 of the 6 handles are broken. Since the comfortable handles create the ease of handling the tubs, I hope this design flaw can be corrected.

I had bought and used the 11 Gallon Tubrug for years. I needed another - wanted to have two for different areas on our property. The same day my new one was delivered, my husband tells me he ran over my original one with our huge pick-up truck which was loaded at the time with firewood. Finally something non rigid that's also tough!
I am short and have a back problems and carrying my weeds to the compost pile in a stiff bushel basket was difficult by the time I have my arm stretched out and have to hike it up on my hip I could barely make it to the compost heap. I used it yesterday to dig potatoes and will use it to dig cannas, carry apples (we have a small orchard). I bought several and will also use for hauling laundry (I can even soak my dirty garden clothes in it) and hauling around my granddaughter's toys. Haven't gone through a season yet so gave 4 stars till I test the durability. I usually use several boxes with animal bedding to store my glad corms, dahlias etc but will use these this year.

I now own 5 11-gallon Tubtrugs, and it's not uncommon to have all of them in play as I garden, particularly in the spring when I am amending the soil in my garden and pots.

In addition to the "pros" listed above, I especially like that they are flexible without being at all flimsy. Three examples of this: (1) My soil is very rocky and I use these tubs for carrying the rocks I dig up; they stand up to as many rocks as I am able to carry at one time, and their flexibility makes it easy to use good body mechanics as I lift a tub of rocks and to carry it close to my body to avoid back strain; (2) I rarely make a mess any more when dumping things from a tub into my garbage can; I am able to hold both handles of the tub together with one hand, forming a "spout," while I raise the bottom of the tub with the other; (3) Unlike the large "paint buckets" I used previously, these tubs don't get locked together when you stack them.

I mostly collect garden waste for compost and collect compost when "harvesting" it. But I've also mixed soil with compost for planting and used it for temporary storage of chopped leaves. I have a smaller one too.

I bought one of these in the spring and I loved it. The size is perfect, its attractive and just perfect for weeding and trimming my garden and hauling away the debris. I ordered a total of 3 tugtrugs, 2 11-gallon (light green & red) and 1 7-gallon (dark green). The 2 green ones I use for gardening, weeding, holding my tools as I work my way around the yard. The green 11-gallon works great for holding the husks of 3 dozen ears of corn until I get to the composter. The red 11-gallon tub we use for laundry, more durably then your regular wash basket. Gather "stuff" indoors and out to tote to the trash or collect for the charity bags; easier to carry and doesn't collapse like a cardboard box. This is the easiest way I've found to collect and carry weeds, clippings, and other garden débris to the compost heap. It's also a great way to collect the viable bulbs dug out of old pots. Useful additon for garden cleanup and storage, but handy for other tasks as well...nice variety of colors. Holding up well in first 6 months of use.

I love this tub! It's great to use when I need to walk around my garden and deadhead old flowers. I use the Tubrug caddy with it and find I can spend my time gardening - not looking for a tool.

Besides the obvious uses for gardening, it's just great for other things - I use one large tub to hold doggie toys and am trying to think of other uses.

Only problem with buying one - what color to get?

Great product for transporting tools to the garden. Heavy enough not to blow away with the wind. Flexible enough to squeeze into tight spaces when not in use. Clean up is a snap - a quick spray with the hose and you're done!

I can carry my gardening bag in the tub to where I plan to work. It holds a good amount of stuff. It's flexibility helps when I'm gathering both weeds and small branches. It's bright colors mean I cannot lose it in high grass or behind plants. I also use it to hold soil while I'm planting containers. I have three and use all of them.

I have several of these Tubtrugs. I can carry hand equipment to the work site, mix potting mix with water, put dug out weeds into them, carry small potted plants easily and in the spring I loaded them up with bulbs that were dug. Lightweight and sturdy!! I have given these for gifts to my gardening friends.

Very useful to carry garden tools to and from the garden as well as fitting in my car to take these items to the church and library gardens I help maintain. In the spring I can mix and moisten planting soil in it; in summer, it collects weeds for disposal, in the fall, it can be used for cleanup of garden debris; in the winter I plan to fill it with water to house my tender water garden plants indoors. All year around it can be used to hold ice for keeping beverages cold when entertaining or used as big basket to carry items.

I find this to be very handy. Not as stiff as a bushel basket and that I used to use to carry weeds to the compost pile. Colors are very eye catching

I have the largest and smallest size of the trugs. I carry the small one with me when I make my garden rounds and do spot weeding; it's also good for harvesting vegetables. It's also handy partially filled with water as a temporary container for cut flowers. The larger size holds a lot of shredded leaves which I use as mulch, so I can easily carry it from bed to bed as I fill in bare spots. There are so many ways to use handy weatherproof containers in the home and garden and these fit the bill for me. Bright colors make then easy to see in the garden.

Not only is my trug in my favorite color but it also saves my shins from the banging and sometimes bruising I got from the old, hard bucket I formerly used. It's easy to keep clean. When not in use I leave my gloves, pruners and favorite trowel in it for the next time. And it's not an eyesore in my garage like the old bucket was.

Colorful to look at, useful for carrying things in the yard, plus watering the plants easy to pour water out of. I use them indoors as a laundry basket. I have 4 Tubtrugs in various sizes and colors. I find them especially great for sorting laundry and toting things about the house. Get a few sizes and they nest inside one another for storage. They're inexpensive and very durable for indoor or outdoor use!

They hold weeds headed for the compost bin, freshly harvested produce waiting to be cleaning and cooked, and the many tools used in the garden. This is a very dependable addition to my gardening and yard tools. I use it for many things, including hauling dirt for potted plants.
