Purchased the 3.5 gal Tubtrug to go with the Deluxe Tractor Scoot. It is a perfect fit. The tubtrug is lightweight and washable - perfect for grimy jobs. It also appears durable, but have not owned it long enough to attest to that.

I think it was a bit high-priced; purchased a similar garden pail at a retail chain store for a lot less. We'll see how it stands up to the Tubtrug.

How can you beat it they are beautiful, light weight, easy to carry.
Thought of using a large for kitty litter box but the side are not rigid which make it easy for dogs to get into. Use mine for all kinds of toting and moving.

I own several of these and just keep buying more. They're so sturdy, well made, easy to use and wash and come in so many cute colors. The uses are endless. So far, I keep a few outdoors for collecting weeds or dug up tubers when gardening, moving/storing transplants, mixing soil/fertilizer, reportting houseplants. In the house, I use one in the laundry room to contain lingerie bags, dryer sheets, etc. Side by side we have a large one for recycling (much easier to tote to the dump when full than those big blue inflexible bins) and a medium one for paper recycling. They can be hosed out when they get gross. I store yarn/knitting projects in one (no snags!), I use a couple by the front door to hold outdoor knick-knacks like sunscreen, umbrellas, sunglasses, etc. They're awesome for containing kids toys or sports gear, transporting folded laundry... I even keep some in the car for trash collection or containing small things in the trunk. I don't think I could ever have too many!

You can lug anything in these. Use it when you're weeding, planting, digging, whatever. It's also good for carrying stuff not related to gardening - like soda on ice for a picnic or as a shopping bag. Hose them out and you're ready for the next chore. Get a bunch - you WILL use them constantly.

I have these in several sizes and all are useful. I take one when I'm weeding in the front which makes transfer to the back compost easy. I use them instead of buckets for water and wet soil. When my husband first saw how many I ordered (5 in 3 sizes), he asked why I needed them. Now he's stolen two to take to the boat! All around great product.

I have three of the baskets and I use them year round. In the winter they are in the closet holding our gloves, hats and winter scarves. In the summer I use them for gardening and my daughters use them filled up with soapy water to play.

This little trug is perfect to remove weeds and debris out of the garden to dispose of elsewhere. It is light and malleable, so it can be squeezed in between shrubs and bushes. I lived in Spain for years and enjoyed the rubber "trugs" used there by all types of workers: farmers, masons, etc. Of course they were all just functional black rubber which carried everything easily. When I saw these smaller colorful ones in your catalog, I ordered right away. The size is more manageable, but the plastic is stiffer making the handles and general use a bit awkward. Overall though I like it very much for my gardening tote.

Having several stacked in the cart are great. Just remove the top one when full and keep going until the job is done, then collect and empty to start again. No trudging each time one is full. The trugs are the greatest. I have had one for several years and use it in my vegetable garden to carry tools and to carry my produce in. I water my plants with them, inside and out. I pick up lawn clippings in the yard. I also use the smaller one to mix a little laundry detergent and water to do some heavy cleaning in the house. My son gave me the tractor for my birthday and I ordered the violet 3.5 gal. Tubrug to go with it. I ordered it because I thought it would be colorful and fun to look at. I have gone through multiple garden tubs that ended up cracking, or had the handle tear out of the tub after some use. These tubs are incredibly strong and durable, even in cold weather. Getting water from the rain barrel to the garden is a chore no more. I fill up a big washtub (below grade of rain barrel) and then dip the water out using mytubtrug. Water doesn't spill as I walk and then it's easy to direct the water onto just the plants I want. Sure it's great for other uses too, but this summer watering without draining our well is top priority.

I use the tub trugs for vegetable harvesting.
Tubs are stable and stay upright when placed on the ground. This frees up both my hands for picking. And, it's easy to fill and carry several trugs at a time, one for each veggie variety.
I drilled holes in the bottom of each so I can leave a stack of 3-4 various sized tubs right in the gardens and they won't collect water. Holes also allow me to rinse the veggies outside with the garden hose before bringing them into the kitchen.

I have used this tote for so many things and I've only had it a short while. I have two medium size and just purchased the smaller 3 1/2 gallon size to carry my tools and smaller items. I just love these, I use them everyday in the garden. For years I was looking for a laundry basket that resembled a tote bag. When I saw this in the catalog I was delighted. After my initial purchase of the large size for laundry I have found many other uses and subsequently bought the other sizes. I use them to carry my gardening supplies; to sort clothes, to mix soil, to weeds, to carry things that have moisture (meats), to transport things in my car. etc. Every week I find another use. I bought a tub of each size and am finding all 3 useful. I use the 2 largest sizes to hold and mix potting soil. The small one is just handy for a lot of things. I am clearing ivy, weeding, putting down mulch, digging up shrubs - a general overhaul of the yard. These TubTrugs are wonderful. I purchased one in each size and have used them all. To be able to grab three containers in one hand, carry tools in them and still have one hand free is great. I use one for trash, one for brush to throw out back and one for ivy or weeds to be recycled by the city. I can work a large area without having to constantly empty containers or get everything mixed up. These are just terrific tools.

I got the 7 gallon size and found it perfect for hauling compost and soil to amend my veggie beds in the spring--big enough to hold significant amounts without hurting my back to carry it. I own a small Landscaping Company. Several years ago we discovered trugs when they first became available. There was only one size at that time. It didn't take long to realize that these guys were going to be the star of the landscaping show! They are indestructable, easy to use and there isn't a job that we do that doesn't involve one of these in some size or other.
At home I use them for collecting the dehumidifier water to carry out to the rain barrels. I also found them to very helpful one day when I was opening a box of ceramic slip. I've never been able to pour a new box of slip with out making a big mess. That day I grabbed a trug, sat the bag inside and cut a corner off. The slip drained out and I didn't lose a drop. Then I just poured the slip from the trug into my molds and away we go!

Great for carrying leaves to the chopper, then distributing the chopped product in the beds.

Makes it easy to capture and transport water from the dehumidifier to planters or beds. Grasping both handles in one hand allows one to direct the flow.

This tub is the right size for picking vegetables and or weeding in the vegetable garden. My garden is 10 X 20 so I don't need a large size however I did purchase the next size up to be used for additional gardening chores.
It cleans easily too.

I started with an 11-gallon tubtrug because I needed something lightweight and easy to grip, to carry all my garden supplies as I'm working in the yard. Then I bought some 3 1/2 gallon ones to use for mixing potting soil and for weeding. I use one for storage on our screened-in porch. Tubtrubs would be perfect for the beach, for storing children's toys - once you have one, you'll need more. There truly are a million uses for these - and they clean out easily and fit into each other for easy storage. Love the colors, too! (And....they make great gifts.)

I bought this for harvesting my veggies, but started using it the first day to water the plants on my porch. The trug holds lots of water, handles are comfortable, and it pours neatly. Easy to add fertilizer as well!Plan to order more as gifts!

I own 2 of these tubtrugs. They are so handy for carrying my garden tools to my project for the day. I just fill them up with weeds or clippings, bend them to pour out the contents into the compost bag, and wash them out with the hose water. Almost makes my work kind of fun.

The different sizes are great for sorting recyclables. They are easy to carry to the recycling center and easy to wash out. The bright colors look better in my mudroom than all those ragged cardboard boxes and plastic bags.

I bought a 3.5 gallon and a 7 gallon tubtrug. They're really handy. They fit in my radio flyer wagon and make it easy for me to get busy in the yard without having to go back for misplaced items. I'm going to order another one.

This is the most useful product I have purchased in a long time. The flexibility of the trug makes it easy to pour from (adding soil to my potato bags). The light weight means I pick it up and use it everywhere - weeding, harvesting, picking blooms for a vase, dead heading or pruning. I am going to order the next larger size, as well.

You will not find me in my gardens (Vegetable or Flower) witout a Tubtrug nearby. The colors let me seperate the ones I use for harvesting the fruits of my labor, and the ones I use for everyday garden chores. They are light, tough, watertight, flexible, and in my opinion indespensable.

I use it to gather twigs, leaves, weeds, etc. Makes them easier to toss into an unwieldly leaf collection bag. Moving plants. Carrying garden ornaments to clean or to a different location. It will do anything you need it to do and you don't have to feed it, train it or clean up after it.

I think these things are great. I've ordered them over and over again for myself and for gifts. Great selection of colors and sizes. I ordered the large tub last year and use it for everything including repotting without making a mess and yard debris clean-up. Liked it so much I ordered the small tub for collecting all the leftovers from deadheading and spucing up the garden. Best thing is how easy it is to carry with one hand.
