I have found this size tub trug to be very helpful in the garden. I have a herniated disc. So it is difficult for me to lift heavy bags of soil or mulch. So I dump a portion into the tub trug, add any necessary additives, and I pour it into the planters. It has saved my back.

These are wonderful. I bought three. One 7 gallon and two 3 gallon. They are so easy to use and carry around, flexible, light weight and yet hold their shape. I don't know how they do it but like I said they are amazing. I use one to haul my hand tools around in and the larger one to put all my trimmings for the compost etc. I can easily carry more than one at a time even when they are full. This saves me many trips around the yard. I am excited to use them when the time comes to harvest crops. I know it will save me endless trips back and forth from the garden because I will be able to carry several at a time. I love them and enjoy the bright happy colors. It makes gardening and yard work a lot more fun.

I absolutely loved my trugs (I had 4) until one by one, the handles broke. They lasted about 2 years each. What they really need is something like a pot-lifter to go around them to relieve the stress on the handles. I lift heavy loads; maybe users who only use them for weeds won't have this problem.

I have these in several sizes and all are useful. I take one when I'm weeding in the front which makes transfer to the back compost easy. I use them instead of buckets for water and wet soil. This is a multi-use, handy dandy rock carrier,dirt carrier, great for transplants, balances well. i love all the sizes. i use them for weeding, potting,carrying transplants. Since this product is weather proof, we leave it right out in the garden tucked back amoung the plants. That way, when we stroll through and can't resist pulling a weed or two, the tub is right there ready for duty. We have used it to hold soil as we repot plants and it washes up and dries easily. We carry it with us when we prune and dead-head plants. It is light weight and makes this task easy. When we ordereed, we really had no idea how big a 7 gallon tub would be since we didn't have much to reference it to, but it turned out to be a good size, not too big to be bulky and not too small to be un-useful.

I use these for literally everything! Weeding, hauling leaves to the compost, hauling compost to the garden beds, harvesting veggies, etc. I even have filled it with water and used it inside to force forsythia branches to bloom. It's the ultimate tub, no cracking or breaking if it gets dropped or set down on pointy stones, and you can even carry it with one hand since its so bendable that the handles meet in the middle. I will never buy a different tub or basket for the garden!

Have found so many uses for these! They are handy in the garden for carrying stuff - compost, mulch, plants, tools, veggies. We have been using the large tubtrugs for a couple of years to carry garden waste to the compost pile and finished compost to the garden. Red means "don't compost", green "compost this", and yellow "caution". This summer we will add medium trugs in blue and purple for carrying soil and sand. They're easy to spot in the garden so I don't misplace them; they're light, easy to carry, and seem really strong. My only problem is that they stick inside each other when they're stacked so I can't just grab one off the pile with one hand.

These are great for just about anything--from toting sand, soil, rocks, and pavers to soaking my feet at the end of a long day. I've used them as a watering can for plants beyond the reach of the hose and have carried in a tomato harvest in them. I have given these as gifts and they get used for everything. My mom even uses one to carry her wet laundry out to the line. They do not hurt your hands even when they're carrying a lot of weight. I will never go back to conventional buckets/watering cans/baskets again.

The open construction means that things are a little more likely to fall out if you don't grab both handles, but it also means that it's easy to toss things in and to find the things that have fallen to the bottom

This bucket just makes me happy. It is pretty (purple) and it is real easy to clean and it holds alot of garden debrise while I'm working. I like that it is so lightweight (as opposed to a regular bucket) and it is flexible so it's very easy to dump. I ordered the product for two gardeners that I know and they were both extremely pleased with the tub and couldn't wait to use it. They loved the colors and the fact that they were polyetheyne and easy to use. I have two large Tubsrugs and two small ones. They are ideal for collecting weeds and sticks and for deadheading. They are lightweight and easy to carry. I have four large flower gardens, so I place them at each garden and fill each as I go along. I have a central burning pile space that I use to dump all the debris, so cleanup is very easy and weed seeds are destroyed. I place them at each garden. They are bright enough so I don't lose them. I left one out all winter last year, and the weather didn't affect its sturdiness. A great product.

After I had this for a week I bought one as a birthday gift for a gardener friend. I use it for garden waste as I weed and trim...it is much lighter and easier to carry than the buckets I was using. And it works well as a watering can when larger amounts of water is needed. I use two sizes when putting in new plants. the small one I use for water to soak the roots prior to planting then use it to water after planting. The larger size I use for the dirt I remove when digging the hole. I can then mix that with compost right in the tub.

I purchased the mid size and it is perfect to carry around my garden for deadheading, cleaning flower beds, and whatever else I need it for. I bought these tubs at a garden center about 5 years ago. Unfortunately I left them out during the winter months and eventually the handles fell off and the tubs cracked. So I would recommend that they be stored inside during winter. Otherwise they are the best I have ever used for weeding, carrying soil and general clean-up.I was very glad to find them on G.S. They are worth paying shipping :)

I've been using a bucket and wheelbarrow to collect garden debris. I read reviews and was so happy to receive one in each size for my birthday. They're just the greatest garden product ever - I love them! They're totally practical, WELL-MADE and best of all: MADE IN SPAIN .. that's when I knew they were a great quality product. I bought the 7 and 3.5 gallon tubtrugs with the intention of using them to sort compostables as I gardened; one for weeds and one for benign plant matter. I love them for this use but have found them perfect for ice buckets at patio gatherings, bringing in groceries from big box stores, and gathering hand tools, rags and other various things that have been left out around the garden. A great, multi-use item for a great price!

I use the 7 gal tubtrug when I am deadheading blooms and pruning plants--It's just the right size. The only drawback is that the handles are a bit skimpy. I always have my garden gloves on when I am carrying, and it's almost a tight fit. The handles could be a bit thicker too. Otherwise, I just love my tubtrugs!

I absolutely love this tubtrug, in fact, I am going to buy a smaller one to cart around my tools. I use my large one when I am deadheading or weeding, and it is great for picking vegetables in the garden, too. I find these to be very versatile. I use them in the garden to carry tools and harvested vegetables. I use them indoors for recycling paper and for carrying laundry. I got the 7 gallon Tubtrug. It's first assignment was to carry bricks from my neighbors yard to mine. I filled it as full as I could - making two trips. I was exhausted - it went unscathed. So far I've use it for carrying garden tools and gathering weeds. I imagine it will be perfect for harvesting my produce when it's ready. I got one for my neighbor who first used it for her hand-washables and now uses it for her weeding. I got one for my boyfriend who used it for cleaning out gutters - and was thrilled that it was lightweight and easy to maneuver. We love our Tubtrugs! :)

I started with one of each size. I thought of so many uses, I kept ordering more. I may be up to 10, not including the ones I've bought for friends and family. The large and medium sizes are perfect for yard cleanup and because they're so flexible, it's easy to "pour" the contents into a big paper yard-waste recycle sack - no more collapsing paper sacks! The small is great for watering plants. A medium green one holds a fountain and three water plants. My niece uses one for her baby's toys, that is when the baby isn't sitting in it and being pulled around the floor, squealing with delight. Who needs expensive toy cars when a tub trug will do? They hold ice and cold drinks, groceries in the back of the car, kayak gear, recycling, and cat toys. I don't know how I got along without them!

This is a wonderful item to have while working in the garden for multiple uses. When you're done gardening, rinse it out, fill it with ice and stash some drinks inside it for your party! Very lightweight and it's bendable.

I've been using a big utility bucket and while it's been OK, these tubtrugs are much easier to handle. The metal handle on the bucket was constantly in the way when trying to dump contents into a bag. The handles on the tubtrug are included in the rim and are never a hindrance. Also, since the tubtrug is flexible, it's easier to direct the contents into a bag thus avoiding spills. So far, I've used these only for weeding and carrying plants and tools, but I know they will be useful in other ways the longer I have them.

I keep my tools in my tubtrug for easy transport. This is my weed bucket while weeding. I have also transported soil in it. It stays outside all day in the sun and heat and rain and has not faded or cracked. This is my gardening "purse".

The large tubtrugs I use for carrying around laundry, emptying the dryer and organizing folded garments, towels etc. The medium size I use in the garden to hold soil and mulch as I move from plant to plant. Under filling the tubtrug allows me to carry it in one hand. I carry one in each hand and load a few needed hand tools into them too then move around the perimeter of the house, amending the soil. It's so much easier than pushing a wheelbarrow or dragging large bags of soil. I love the cheerful colors, especially the yellow and lavender. I also leave one large trug in a handy outdoor location where I can collect garden trimmings for composting later. Caution: if you place like sized tubtrugs inside each other they might get stuck together, at least when new.

Love the trugs. I use to use a bucket until it got a crack in it and I needed something else. I've seen the trugs in the catalogs before and have always wanted to get one. This product is a perfect solution for weeding. I keep it nearby and discard the weeds in the Tub. It sure beats the small bucket I used to use, or the large plastic sheet. I purchased this item to store my 5 year old's bath toys! I can load it up with wet toys straight from the tub and empty out the drained water the next morning. I own several of these in different colors; and I must say are worth every penny! I use them all season long for every gardening chore you can think of. After hauling compost just a quick squirt of the hose makes them ready for picking apples or bringing in heavy loads of squash from the garden. They are great for gathering toys and games for a picnic or the beach too. I also like to fill them with produce for the farmer's market, as they are rugged yet make a colorful, eyecatching display.
The best part is that during the rest of the year I use them inside for clothes baskets, hauling water to my humidifiers and storing bags of potting soil for repotting house plants and having seed starter easily available in the basement during mid-winter. I am a very frugal person and can tell you that you will get your money's worth out of them. I have had some of mine for 3 years now and they show no signs of wear at all!

I gave my mom a couple of these tubs as Christmas gifts. As an avid gardener with advanced arthritis, she's looking forward to using these for spring gardening. I can see my dad using these also for larger jobs around the yard.

The bright colors coordinate with the horse farm. These make a great catch-all for the items to be carried each trip from house to barn: laundry, supplies, the mail, gloves, etc. It doesn't crack like a laundry basket and it a more useful shape than a bucket. Get several of these, in a variety of sizes. They do LOTS of work! Wonderfully flexible and lightweight, you can carry them anywhere and then lug anything in them -- soil, rocks, lawn clippings, water...you get the picture. Easy to clean. Hook over your fencepost to keep handy. And fun colors keep them visible for those of us who forget where we left something when we get immersed in our work. You cannot go wrong with this product. After you're done working, rinse, fill with ice and beverages and relax!

I own several, have bought them for work and as gifts. They are great to use and the colors are cheery and fun. My only complaint is that they seem to break down quickly if left outside.

When I first bought the larger Tubtrug, purchased it not realizing just how much I would use it. Very convenient and Light weight, so you can carry it all around the yard while pruning or weeding. Nice too that when you transfer the weeds etc. to another bag or container, the trug is flexible, so you don't end up dumping half of it outside the bag.

I sent a set as gifts to my daughter and daughter-in-law. They both live in multi-stories houses and use them to tote items from floor to floor.

I liked this until the handle broke this winter, and I don't live in the coldest climate. It makes an expensive disposable container.
