The colors of these tubtrugs just make me happy as i go about my chores. They are great for recycling bins, not too heavy, flexible to fit through smaller spaces and hold enough trimmings to clean up a large oleander bush. I don't know how well they will hold up over time, but for the two months i've had them, they have been fine on the deck.

I have had a few of these of different sizes for several years, and they serve all sorts of purposes, from harvesting, to holding soil to be moved, to holding large amounts of composting materials before I get to the bin. They wear well, except for one, which was left out over winter in the garden, exposed to everything, and the handles broke off and it cracked. Another not quite so exposed is still intact. Usually these are slightly protected over winter, out of the sun.

I bought this to use under the leaf shredder as shown in the catalog. As these came in different sizes, it would have been helpful to know the height of each one as well as the amount (gallons) for ordering. I ordered the largest assuming that it would work under the shredder. It falls about four inches short of the bottom of the shredder so the leaves tend to miss the tubtrug as they fall from the bottom of the shredder.

I use the smallest to pour bird seed in feeders. I gave each of our kids the large one in funky colors, they love them. So easy to fill and carry. We first used your trugs two years ago when the gardener we'd hired to help us revamp our perennial beds brought hers. We knew we had to have them and bought three, 2 large and one medium, in the bright red and orange so they wouldn't get lost. They are soo useful and since lightweight, great for bringing compost and mulch from the piles to the plants we were putting in. I use a smaller one to bring my tools to wherever I'm working, and larger ones for pruned material; as I'm working, I can bring them into the beds with me, and move them with me. My sister however was aghast that we sent her a plastic product and asked, is it recyclable? I advised it would last forever, so not to worry. Is it?

I love tubtrugs. They are probably the tool I use most in my garden--mixing soil, catching the results of weeding, pruning and clipping, carrying seedlings, etc & etc. They are lightweight, durable and easy to carry. I use them for transporting all sorts of garden materials but they also work well for carrying and orgnanizing all the stuff that gets transported in my car. This is a great product, easy to carry things to and from the gardening area. I must have a dozen of these of various sizes and the uses are endless, with their flexibility making them so much better than a bucket in most instances. As I separate rock and gravel from the soil dug when I plant things, I store them in tubtrugs and let rainfall rinse the remaining dirt from the hard stuff before using it elsewhere. Also great for catching shredder or chipper output. I've only had one spring a leak over the years. I do wish I could find another of the large, low ones.

I bought 5 of these about 2 years ago. They've lasted beautifully until this year. We got an early snow with very cold weather in September. Every one of them cracked beyond repair when I tried to carry the handles with one hand. Bummer. I would still use this product, but not in very cold weather!

I have three of this size and one each of the other two sizes. I just ordered one of each size for my daughter. We use them inside to soak stained clothes, wash the children's play shoes, carry tomatoes, apples, etc. inside for canning, carrying things (like canning jars, laundry, toys) from one level to another or from my house to hers...I could go on and on!
Of course, I use mine outside too. The big ones will hold a half sack of mulch which is much easier for me to carry throughout my flower gardens. Because they are so flexible, it is easy to load and unload the mulch, dirt, etc. The grandkids and I also carry gravel, pinecones, sunflower heads, newspapers (for under the mulch), doll babies, toys of all kinds, etc!

After the first season or two, the handles broke and the tub cracked in the area of the handles. After that they were only good for lighter jobs or just sitting in one spot. It's not that they weren't useful after the handles broke, but they weren't as sturdy as I would have liked.

We have used the Tubtrug for a variety of jobs. I collect garden waste as I prune and reshape plants and shrubs. We used them to gather tomatoes and sweet corn and other maturing vegetables. Our yard is almost 3 acres and the Tubtrugs are wonderful for carrying gardening equipment long distances because they're so lightweight. And since they are so lightweight and tough, my 3 year old and 18 month old grandsons can drag them around with birdseed and toys in them. I highly recommend the Tubtrug.

Tubs are good for the usual yard chores, but I also use mine for dyeing, and around ceramics studio. They are sturdy enough to stand up full of glaze, and can be picked up, and squeezed into a spout to return the glaze to the narrower storage bucket. Great sizes that make them easy to use. Just bought my third (not counting gifts) and I don't know how I got along without these tubtrugs in various sizes. The largest one is the most versatile, great for collecting pulled weeds and pruning trash, mixing amendments into potting soil, transporting mulch and/or compost from one side of the yard to the other (try lugging one of those big bags -- ugh!), collecting waste water when cleaning the fountain, even filling with ice or lining with a trash bag for outdoor parties. They stay bright and flexible even stored in direct sunlight, and are, as promised, virtually indestructible (I lost one to a voracious racoon when I tried using it upside down to hide a bag of worm castings!) My surfer husband even uses one in his trunk to dump sopping wetsuits into for the drive home. Fashion colors are the icing on the cake, just a terrific all-around product.

The Tubtrug is GREAT !!! I bought this garden basket to make it easier to put clippings into when cleaning up the yard and easier to carry because of the handles and lightweight. Moving soil and mixing soil for plants is also easier. My son also used it to wash vegetables from the garden and soak lettuce in it. When picking fruit and vegetables I can fill it up and handles make it easy to carry. Put soapy water in it to wash patio furniture or even the car or even the family dog. I bought three of the largest sizes to use as toy boxes for all the toys I have for my grandchildren. The tubtrugs are soft and lightweight, and I stack them up even with toys in them. I bought my first tub to use under my leaf mulcher - as I'd seen it pictured in your catalog. It fit well - but I soon found other uses for it - so I bought two more. I cannot believe that I have used cardboard boxes all these years and this tubtrug was available. It makes it easy to put items, even rose branches, into the paper refuse bags needed in my town to be picked up by the garbage company. The 11 gallon is about the most useful "tool" in the garden. I mix soil in it, weed with it, collect cuttings in it, carried bricks in it and soaked my bare root roses before planting in it. This tubtrug is just the ticket for yardwork! Incredibly sturdy, and just the right size for yard debris, mixing soil, etc. I was helping a friend carry some heavy loads of debris to the curb, and we could manage easily be each taking a handle. I have used the pop-up tip bags in the past, but they don't usually last for more than a season. This is a much better product. I'm on my second set of these. Left first set out in subzero temps and they cracked. My own fault. Otherwise they are nearly indestructible, and the flexibility is a real plus

It's my husband's new purse. I bought him a bright red tubtrug and that thing is never empty. I did not anticipate just how much he would love it. He thought of 50 uses for it the minute he saw it. He's used it in the garden, with our new plantings, but he really wants to use it in his van. I will just have to break down and buy him another one.

I use my trugs for everything--hauling weeds, plants, tools, etc. We used the first one so much that I bought two more so that we all have one. I also bought the small one for my granddaughter who loves to help Grandma in the garden.

Just received my 11 gallon tub and have used it for cleaning out leaves in the landscaping and weeds in the flower gardens. I love the fact that it is very light weight for handling and flexible for getting into tight areas. The "happy" designer colors are delightful. I can see where this tub will be used for many different projects; I will be ordering more tubs in other "happy" colors.

I love the colors offered. They light up the garden like a field of flowers. I use mine everywhere for just about everything I do in the garden: carrying tools, gathering flowers, carrying small bedding plants, transplanting, pulling weeds, mixing soil, spreading fertilizer---you name it, this product does it all. The tub is great for weeding the garden instead of hauling around the wheelbarrow. It can be taken inside the fenced in garden so weeds don't have to be thrown to the wheelbarrow. It's easy for collecting trash that's blown into the yard, for carrying veggies into the house. Very easy to wash clean and turn upside down on the wood rack to dry. Like this product very much.

I received the small tubtrug for my birthday, and purchased the 11 gallon one for larger projects. It definitly came in handy while doing spring clean up in my yard, as well as carrying it to my dump site. It's a must have for anyone who gardens.
