We bought it to use with our leaf mulcher, but it is to flexible, lightweight and easy to use that I find it is a regular tool whenever I'm working in the garden.

I use these for the constant cleanup necessary in a perennial garden- they are attractive on their own and very functional. The only downside is the handles break on occasion. I'm still using the broken ones, however, it is important to use both handles, not just one.

I have three of this size and one each of the other two sizes. I just ordered one of each size for my daughter. We use them inside to soak stained clothes, wash the children's play shoes, carry tomatoes, apples, etc. inside for canning, carrying things (like canning jars, laundry, toys) from one level to another or from my house to hers...I could go on and on!
Of course, I use mine outside too. The big ones will hold a half sack of mulch which is much easier for me to carry throughout my flower gardens. Because they are so flexible, it is easy to load and unload the mulch, dirt, etc. The grandkids and I also carry gravel, pinecones, sunflower heads, newspapers (for under the mulch), doll babies, toys of all kinds, etc!
The best thing is that when they are empty, we can just stack them inside each other and they take up very little space!

I don't know how I got along without a Tubtrug. I use it often to mix soil, carry compost, and hold weeds and rocks. Once my chicken coop is up and running, I will use the Tubtrug to haul straw to and from the coop. It makes a load really easy to carry.

I bought a set in a bright rainbow of colors to use as beverage containers for a garden party. Everyone loved them. I found the best thing about these when I was ready to empty out the melted ice. A variety of sizes for multiple uses. Easier to carry than buckets which are less flexible. So far have used my set of tubtrugs to carry apples, weeds, green beans, bird food, sand,etc.

After the first season or two, the handles broke and the tub cracked in the area of the handles. After that they were only good for lighter jobs or just sitting in one spot. It's not that they weren't useful after the handles broke, but they weren't as sturdy as I would have liked.

What can I say that probably hasn't been said already? They're fabulous! Sturdy, colorful, easy to handle, versatile.... Our uses: hold the kids' shoes in the mudroom, hold the kids' toys in the playroom, hold all the apples when we went apple picking recently, keep the soccer equipment from rolling around in our rear hatch, use in the garden for weeding, carrying compost and mulch to the beds...

We have used the Tubtrug for a variety of jobs. I collect garden waste as I prune and reshape plants and shrubs. We used them to gather tomatoes and sweet corn and other maturing vegetables. Our yard is almost 3 acres and the Tubtrugs are wonderful for carrying gardening equipment long distances because they're so lightweight. And since they are so lightweight and tough, my 3 year old and 18 month old grandsons can drag them around with birdseed and toys in them. I highly recommend the Tubtrug.

I have always used bushel baskets in the past but the splints tend to break and yard material fall through the cracks. The plastic tubs are light weight and wonderful. I have one in each size and they are great for all jobs!

We use it to carry weeds, garden waste, grass, etc. to the compost pile, and to carry compost to the garden. It is also handy carrying harvest (potatoes, onions, et .) to the house. With lighter loads it is useful to be able to bring the two handles together for one hand carrying. The traditional bushel basket is hard to let go of, but this product beats it.

Tubs are good for the usual yard chores, but I also use mine for dyeing, and around ceramics studio. They are sturdy enough to stand up full of glaze, and can be picked up, and squeezed into a spout to return the glaze to the narrower storage bucket. Great sizes that make them easy to use. Just bought my third (not counting gifts) and I don't know how I got along without these tubtrugs in various sizes. The largest one is the most versatile, great for collecting pulled weeds and pruning trash, mixing amendments into potting soil, transporting mulch and/or compost from one side of the yard to the other (try lugging one of those big bags -- ugh!), collecting waste water when cleaning the fountain, even filling with ice or lining with a trash bag for outdoor parties. They stay bright and flexible even stored in direct sunlight, and are, as promised, virtually indestructible (I lost one to a voracious racoon when I tried using it upside down to hide a bag of worm castings!) The Tubtrug is GREAT !!! I bought this garden basket to make it easier to put clippings into when cleaning up the yard and easier to carry because of the handles and lightweight. Moving soil and mixing soil for plants is also easier. My son also used it to wash vegetables from the garden and soak lettuce in it. When picking fruit and vegetables I can fill it up and handles make it easy to carry. Put soapy water in it to wash patio furniture or even the car or even the family dog. I bought three of the largest sizes to use as toy boxes for all the toys I have for my grandchildren. The tubtrugs are soft and lightweight, and I stack them up even with toys in them. I bought my first tub to use under my leaf mulcher - as I'd seen it pictured in your catalog. It fit well - but I soon found other uses for it - so I bought two more. It is a great size for gathering the leaves and debris to mulch, and I like how I can bend it so leaves don't blow out when I empty it. I cannot believe that I have used cardboard boxes all these years and this tubtrug was available. It makes it easy to put items, even rose branches, into the paper refuse bags needed in my town to be picked up by the garbage company. I have three large ones and a couple of the small ones. The 11 gallon is about the most useful "tool" in the garden. I mix soil in it, weed with it, collect cuttings in it, carried bricks in it and soaked my bare root roses before planting in it. I like that its flexible and, with the bright colors, is pretty hard to lose. Great place to store garden tools at days end. Oh, I was also able to make a good size circle in the ground by tracing around it for a fountain pad.

This tubtrug is just the ticket for yardwork! Incredibly sturdy, and just the right size for yard debris, mixing soil, etc. I was helping a friend carry some heavy loads of debris to the curb, and we could manage easily be each taking a handle. I have used the pop-up tip bags in the past, but they don't usually last for more than a season. This is a much better product. I also like that it is flexible, for "pouring", whether it is clippings into a yard bag, or soil into a planting hole. Great colors too.

I use my garden trug exclusively for holding and transporting weed waste. I bought my first one about four years ago and find that it is light weight and comfortable to carry. I use a liner of a black trash bag and when it is full, I just tie it up, pull it from the trug and set the bag out for the trash truck. I don't compost weeds. I have the largest size trug, and you'd be surprised how fast a pile of weeds collects. I bought the second trug to mix top soil, composted mulch and composted cow manure in. I plan to put this mixture in handfuls on the low places of my gardens, where the soil has settled over the years. I am using the second trug as a receptacle to replace the function of a wheel barrow, since I am not strong enough to handle a wheel barrow.

I received a tub trug a couple of years ago as a gift and can't imagine not having it. I carry laundry up and down stairs, along with any other items going to a different levels. I used it to carry all of our Christmas decorations up and down stairs also. I've given three away as birthday gifts as well, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the trug to anyone....no negatives.

I have several of these in different sizes and colors and use them for almost any garden task you can think of-- from soaking bare root plants to hauling rocks or carrying flowers/veggies to the kitchen. Stackable and easy to clean, they've also been used as soft drink ice tubs, recycle containers, and laundry baskets. The feature I most appreciate is being able to squish it together so I can easily walk down a narrow garden path-- something other products are just not meant to do. This squishy feature also makes it easier to dump garden debris into our giant yard waste container without spill.

These tubs were bought to carry recyclabes from home to the recyclers. Love the colors they brighten up the garage. Are so much easier to empty than bags of stuff.

The colorful tubs are easy to find in my large yard, where gardening supplies sometimes get "lost"! The various sizes can be used for many tasks - cleanup, harvest, even watering (as mini rain barrel and watering can). Inside, they can be used to transport items from one floor to another and to store children's toys. The handles have a very comfortable grip.

The TubTrugs are very sturdy yet they are lightweight. I use them in the yard and also in the house. Great item to use to transport items in the car, i.e. taking items to the park, to church to set-up for a special event.

I have used colorful tubtrugs for many uses both inside and out. They can hold and help organize so many different itmes, clean and dirty! And the colors make them even better.
I am hoping the handles will not crack from extreme weather.

I use my tubtrugs for pretty much everything. Sorting laundry, holding toys, toting giant messes from one end of the house to the other, and my toddler and her friends use it to haul each other around. It's very durable, flexible, and versatile. I couldn't be happier with the product.

It is not weather resistant in cold weather. I made the mmistake of leaving it out one cold night and it had reained prior to a freeze and when the water froze it cracked the trug but you generously replaced it and I am very happy. I have bought several for myself and many for gifts.

I bought two and they traveled all over my yard with me - clippings and trash, transplanting, hauling, etc. One deteriorated within the first year; the second is in fine condition.

The large trug tub is durable and handily holds everything: tools, flowers, transplants, weeding refuse. It's easy to clean--just hose it out and turn upside down to dry.
