I own two trugs in this size. I'm back to buy three more.

I use the ones I have in the garden. I mix my soil mixes in them. I tote compost and mulch in them (no wheelbarrow). I carry seedlings in them. I haul shrubs around in them when I'm transplanting. Sometimes I even put my daughter in one to make her laugh.

I can't say enough good things about these. They're strong. They're long-lived if stored out of sunlight (three years old and as good as the day I bought them). They're comfortable to use. They're easy to store. The flexibility allows me (petite woman) to lift quite a bit of weight, because it keeps it really close to my body. They just meld to you when you lift them. The handles never cut into your palms or pinch like 5-gallon-buckets. These are better than 5-gallon buckets in every possible way: larger capacity, yet they somehow feel lighter, even full, and are easier to store because they nest and bend. Tubtrugs are the greatest!

I'm buying my next 3 size large to use as hampers for laundry. I've been using big tupperware things for ages, but I hate them. I know these will be much more comfortable. Each one will hold about a load of laundry. I want a small size, too, for harvesting my veggies. I know it will live longer than the wooden basket I used to use.

You could also use these for all sorts of other things. Put ice in them and stick drink bottles in them when having a party. Keep one in a play area and use it as a toy box. Have a bunch of awkward stuff to carry? Throw it in and make it easy! Wash your dog in one. Heck, they're food safe, so you can even eat or drink from them.

I have already used it to move transplants to other areas of our garden, to get to various bird baths in all parts of the yard, to haul weeds to our fire pit or burn pit. I can mix almost a whole tub of potting soil, soilless mix, etc and still carry it. It's flexible enough the hold both handles in one hand, yet is not flimsy. The colors are too cool; may buy another one just to get a different color. I can put my gardening tool bag, fertilizer, gloves, seeds, water bottle, insect repellant, even small pots of seedlings, etc in the tub at the same time and have everything I need as I move to different beds.

This container holds so much! Whether you're puling old growth out of flower/herb gardens or needing a place to statsh the pots in one place from your new flowers and herb that you plant. Yellow is my favorite color --- this tub is not yellow. Chartreuse, maybe? The tub itself is wonderful and I own a couple in other colors that are much prettier.

I have not had this long, so the only thing I used it for right now is laundry. I love the flexibility of the basket. I also plan to use in trunk of the car to keep groceries from rolling around.

I have these in several sizes and all are useful. I take one when I'm weeding in the front which makes transfer to the back compost easy. I use them instead of buckets for water and wet soil. When my husband first saw how many I ordered (5 in 3 sizes), he asked why I needed them. Now he's stolen two to take to the boat! All around great product.

I was ordering a second tub. My other tub was bought over 20 years ago and I wasn't sure of the size, so went with the 11 gallon. It's really huge so one has to be careful not to load it up too much so that it isn't too heavy to lift.

On quality of materials, am concerned about durability. Material is fairly stiff, and with UV exposure, will become brittle (besides 100+ AZ temperatures degrading the material). Will definitely store in the shade.

I don't go in the garden without my tubtrug - I use it for holding weeds I pluck, I mix my garden soil and compost in it when I'm planting, I use it in my car for transporting plants, etc.....a wonderful item. These work really well for collecting lawn clippings, dirt, etc. Good for mixing potting soil, and easily pouring. Just don't fill them too heavy, otherwise I think the handles would break off. I am very happy with them.

I love this bucket! I bought it to use in the trunk of my car, but I've been using it a lot in the garden, and I love how flexible it is--one of the things that's great is that the sides are sturdy, yet flexible, so you can mix soil in it, then pour it easily out into a container by folding in the sides a little bit and making a spout. It's very well made--I love it!

I use these trugs (I have several different sizes in several different colors) in my gardening. I carry mulch, compost and water in them. I use them when I am first setting up for the day in getting all I need to the site I will work at. I also got a lovely purple one for my first granddaughter due in May for use in her room. I usually use old laundry baskets, which are open sided, and can get messy. This basket is good looking, lightweight, flexible and carries quite a lot of weeds or flowers, depending on what I'm doing in the garden. You can even carry "dirt" in it or whatever. Washable and looks good. Nice product!

I like that the tub is flexible enough that I can grip both handles in one hand, enabling me to carry two tubs at one time. On the down side, one tub cracked after two season's use.

I love using my tub trug to haul leaves to the compost bin or to use as top dressing to keep the weeds at bay. I loved the one I bought last year so much that I got the next size up this year to help out with bigger chores. I've loaned it to my neighbor and got raves from him about it. I have two tubs that I use for weekly gardening and found them the best on the market. I have given them as gifts and are loved by the receivers. I did have handles break off but the tub was replaced. That was unusual because they are extremely sturdy and pliable. I love them.

I use these tubs around the barn, especially cleaning stalls. Hold plenty of manure & sawdust without being too heavy. Also great for collecting waste hay that I've raked up. I keep one in my horse trailer for manure accidents. They are safe around livestock since there is no metal bail for the animals to get a foot caught in or cut by.

I use them for watering in places my hoses do not reach, mixing soil for my containers with fertilizer and amendments, soaking dried out plants in small pots bought from the store from the bottom up, hauling compost, wood chips, mulch, you name it, carrying small pots of plants bought from garden centers or ordered from the mail to where I indent to plant them or to shade or sun -- all sorts of uses. They are incredibly handy. And during dry times I leave them out to collect rain water and use that to water my garden.

I bought my 1st tubtrug (large) the 1st season you offered it. It spent its winters in my unheated IN garage. Last year I moved to MT, and I was using it in the winter to take feed to my chickens. It literally fell apart one day-- the handles broke off and it cracked. Result of too much cold weather, or do they just deteriorate over time?

These trugs are fantastic in all sizes. I use mine for weeding, soaking houseplants, carrying laundry, clothes,books-whatever! They are light enough that they don't add much weight to what you are carrying. I have given several as gifts over the years, and EVERYBODY has loved them. I am 61, and my arm strength isn't as good as it once was-these keep me from trying to carry too much. They will crack if left out in freezing weather-but with that type of plastic, I would never leave it out all winter.

I use for garden cleanup, carrying tools, etc. to the garden and back, and harvesting. The wide opening is great, as you can throw a handful of weeds into it and rarely miss. The handles don't break off or get bent like 5-gallon food containers. The colors are just plain fun. The only disadvantage I have found is that you can't turn them over and sit on them, but that is a small concern and there are other things to sit on.

I've bought these in all sizes and use them constantly in my gardening and pool entertainment especially for immersing seed starter pots, feeding potted plants, hauling almost anything, but do find that they will shatter/crack in very cold weather.

Heavy duty, well made, flexible. I can think of a 1,000 tasks I'll use this for. I bought three sizes, they stack together to save space and I'll always have the right size for each job. My husband is happy that these tubs are replacing my usual pile of old empty boxes in the garage! He would be less happy if he knew the price I paid for them. That is their drawback - quite expensive. Provided they serve me well for years to come, I'm ok with the cost but not if they do not hold up to typical heavy gardening use.

i LOVE these trugs. the big one is a perfect size for hauling a load of dirt, or shavings, or weeds, or whatever. It holds about the max amount i could possibly carry, and the flexible sides make carrying it, and pouring it out most easy! alas, I was so sad that i dumped it out yesterday and the handles snapped off and it cracked down the side. it can't handle the winter temperatures so you'll need a winter solution.

I've been using this trug as a shopping tote.
It works great for meats and other cold, wet foods but the size and shape are kind of clumsy to handle. The best thing is that when you get it home you can hose it down in your kitchen sink and it's ready to for more shopping.

I have used my trugtub almost daily since getting it a few weeks ago. I have used it to harvest vegetables of all kinds, wash my root crops and carry vegetable scraps to my compost site. I have four of these of various sizes and they are so useful! I use them to carry water from the rain-barrel, dirt and mulch to the garden, veggies from the garden, tools from one place to another... I pull one along in the garden and fill it with weeds I am pulling. I set them out at the edge of the deck to collect rainwater.
They are lightweight, colorful and attractive so even if I have a project half finished and I leave them out they don't look sloppy, they just add a delightful splash of color in the garden.

I purchased this product because I needed something to lug weeds from parts of yard and garden to our compost pile. The tub is really sturdy, yet it is so flexible that it does not require super-human hand strength to hold both handles in one hand (which has been a problem I have had with other plastic tubs). These 11 gallon Tubtrugs are the best things going. I couldn't garden without mine. I have two that are in constant use and the only reason I need new ones after many years is that a friend's dog got at the handles. They hold clippings, manure, water, worms, you-name-it. I love these tubs. They are lightweight and easy to clean, and I use mine mostly to gather and carry weeds, dirt or my harvest when gardening. They are tougher than they look, however, and proved extremely useful for corraling tools (even the sharp ones) during a deck-building project. My father was helping me with that project, and was so taken with them that I bought him one as a father's day gift. The only drawback I could envision is that the handle is a bit narrow and might be uncomfortable if you were carrying heavy loads over long distances.

Don't stop when the tub seems full. Pile more stuff in the middle, between the handles. REALLY pile it on. The tub's flexibility makes it easy to carry. I was able to fit all of the cut-up branches from a smoke tree into my pretty purple tub.

I use these trugs when weeding, pruning, deadheading. They are sturdy, have a large capacity, and thanks to the bright colors, you don't lose them in the garden when you become distracted by a particularly challenging group of weeds around the next corner. You can easily tote huge amounts of garden waste to the composter. I also transport divisions from my perennial gardens to family and friends. They don't dry out, and my car doesn't get dirty. I even move my fish from their winter holding tanks to my pond in these trugs. They are so much more comfortable to use that my old "Big Box Store" buckets.
But one warning: If you are married, you'd better get at least two, because you and your spouse will find yourselves fighting over who gets to use the trug when you garden together!

These tub trugs are great for all my recycling (bottles/cans and paper). Plus I am no longer "killing" trees by using paper grocery bags. My recycling service must approve, too, as I've been left several thank you notes since I started using the tub trugs.

I love the tub trugs! I have two of them and want more in other sizes. They are very versatile and I love that with the flexible sides you can carry both handles with one hand. I use mine for routine weeding and it's perfect. I'm thinking of getting a few more to use as laundry baskets.

After 10 years of use, my last tub trugs wore out. I couldn't get anything done without them. They are small enough to be easy to work with yet big enough to hold a reasonable load. I use them for all garden chores from weeding to mulching, from planting to harvesting.

Mix soil, carry multiple small items, discard weeds... you'll find many uses. These are so handy and reasonably priced that I have several.

We have found a huge number of things to use this for - my workout stuff, beach stuff, gardening stuff. My daughter uses the small one for her doll things. Going to order more so that each member of the family has their own!

I ordered one for my daughter and one for myself and we're both enthusiastic about them. It's been used for yard waste as well as holding a large plant I'm in the middle of transplanting across the yard. Thank goodness it's easy to move about with a heavy load.

I own several of these and use them when weeding, mixing and transferring soil, carting stones, and transplanting plants. They're very sturdy and lightweight.

I started w/ one trug many years ago. I have 7 now including the one I use for a laundry basket.
They make great haulers for everything - water, dirt, rocks, bricks - you name it! I use them for weeding, they have flat bottoms so just pull them along w/ you. Neighbor across the street uses one to collect their home grown produce, another friend uses hers for a beer cooler when they entertain. They make great rain gathering reservoirs during the rainy season. I use them when harvesting herbs and flowers for potpourri.
Lord knows how I ever got along w/out them! Another friend on a farm uses it for hauling grain and feed to their critters. The uses are nearly endless. Wish they were a little more UV resistant, but that's probably not as big an issue up North. But they still last for 3 or 4 years even here, and they're outdoors 12 months a year. Oh - good for hauling bird seed too!
