How waterproof is this glove? We checked it out ourselves with staff volunteers who plunged their gloved hands into a bucket of ice water. The gloves were soaking wet, but their hands were dry and comfortable. And that's not all—the suede-like padded palm holds onto wet, slippery tools and the glove has 4-way stretch for terrific dexterity. Two liners let body moisture escape and keep fingers warm.

  • Hands stay dry even when gloves are soaking wet
  • Machine-washable
  • Men's gloves are Olive in sizes M (8 - 8-1/2), L (9 - 9-1/2), XL (10 - 10-1/2)
  • Women's gloves are Clay in sizes XS (5 - 5-1/2), S (6 - 6-1/2), M (7 - 7-1/2), L (8 - 8-1/2)

My husband uses these gloves when snowblowing, shoveling snow off roofs,
and getting ice out of gutters. He raves about how waterproof, warm, and flexible they are compared to any others he has tried. That is why I bought 2 more pair. My son uses them when plowing his road for himself and the 6 other homes on their Vermont rural road. He raves about them too. My son-in-law uses them for all kinds of winter work around their house. Ditto, ditto. ditto.

    Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Sure Grip Waterproof Gloves:

I bought this product because I needed something that would keep my hands warm despite getting them wet. This is not the case at all. In fact, the cold seemed to be trapped in the gloves and my hands did get wet. I left the gloves out to dry in the sun and they were still wet feeling after a day in the sun. We don't even have really cold weather where I live and they didn't pass the test. I'm very dissatisfied, would not recommend this product to anyone and feel I wasted my money. Also the small size was too large even though that's the size I normally wear.

Comments about Sure Grip Waterproof Gloves:

Even in the cold of winter we have to clean water buckets and soak hay for the horses, pull weeds and grasses for the goats and chickens, etc. We've tried work gloves, snow gloves ... you name it. These are the first gloves that are up to the cold wet tasks we face. No matter how wet the gloves get on the outside, my fingers stay warm and dry. Don't expect the dexterity to work a small buckle or clip - but that's no surprise. I bought these on trial, and I'm so satisfied I'm buying more for the rest of the family.

I work in a botanical garden and use these gloves year round. Hands are warm in the winter and dry during dewy summer mornings.
They can pick up small objects easily and are tough enough to handle rose and bramble canes.
I've recommened them to everyone at work.
