I enjoyed two of the blooms on separate afternoons and had alot of fun trying them. The concept is unique and the blooms actually unfold exactly how the pictures indicate. I found the tea to be a little bit weaker than my usual Earl Grey or English Breakfast, but they were tasty and it was nice trying something different. I filled the teapot with cold water afterwards to preserve the blooms for a few days because they're so pretty.

I gave this gift to my Favorite Aunt who has every gardening tool in the world. She is the consummate gardener. She doesn't drink coffee and she loves her tea breaks. I love this tea and the tea pot. My husband likes to make a pot in the morning. He drinks a cup with breakfast, then saves the rest and makes a little more for lunch. The tea is great hot or cold. It is the first herbal tea I've tasted that was full of flavor. The aroma is out of this world. My one concern is that the tea pot seems fragile. I am planning on buying this again for a gift. The tea is relatively expensive but would work nicely for a special event in which the tea becomes a conversation piece. I have found replacement blooms at an international food market, so it is possible to continue to enjoy the glass teapot when the original supply runs out.

Though the teapot was smaller than what I was expecting, it makes two generous-sized mugs of tea, and it's a very pretty design. It makes having tea feel like an "event"! It's pretty neat watching the tea ball "bloom" in the water. I just wish some of the varieties offered included black tea as the base in addition to the silver needle tea. (Also, I tried to take out the strainer when washing the teapot, but felt it might break the spout doing so; so I just left it in.) Even just for regular tea bags or a separate metal tea ball filled with whatever tea you prefer, it's a very pretty way to serve tea. (Pour carefully so it doesn't spill.)

I saw this in the catalog and tried to decide to whom it should be gifted, then in a really splurgy "I'm worth it" moment decided to give it to myself. They are pretty and a conversation piece even for those who do not drink tea. I discovered if you don't drink the tea when the tea gets too cloudy to see the flowers, you can drain it slowly, fill through the spout with clear water and have the display for a couple weeks! Get the extra packs too!

Very nice looking tea set, but it is very delicate. The glass is just too thin, and the overall size it on the small side. I guess by the picture you can't really get an idea of what the actual size will be. This product is best used in a home without kids.

I like the tea and the glass teapot so much that I've been giving them for gifts for all sorts of occasions. I use mine all the time. You can find additional varieties of tea on the manufacturer's website, but I like the jasmine tea best.
