We use this wrap all the time in our physical therapy facility. It's perfect for holding ice packs in place on shoulders, elbows, knees, and ankles. They last a long time, none of ours have worn out yet, and we've been using them multiple times a day for over a year. Our patients want to know where they can buy one for home use and we tell to go to Gardeners Supply.

After receiving it in the mail, I used it (heat) to relieve a knot in my upper back/shoulder area and it was very effective in applying the heat and staying in place. I could sit back and relax watching TV while the heat did it's thing!

The wrap is a good design and easier to use than most other wraps. I'm also a therapist and have used many types of hot packs. The gel pack is useless, since it can't be frozen and I haven't tried nuking it after reading other revues. The pocket fits a freezer gel pack I got in the pharmacy, so it's been very useful.

I bought this because I needed to keep an ice pack in place in the back of neck and shoulder area. The ice pack is much larger than the teeny ice pack pouch on this thing, but the elastic does hold the larger packs in place as long as I put it in a ziplock type bag and pin it to the elastice strap. It is still a lot easier to use than the fabric contraption I tried to make up before. It slips sometimes, but for the most part it works well enough so that my hands are free to do what I have to do.

This is the second of these wraps that we have purchased. The first one split open after several uses. The last one split open after being microwaved about the third time. Definitely not satisfied and would not recommend that anyone purchase this item.

I am a physical therapist. I like using this wrap to provide an ice application on my patients. It works really well on shoulders and ankles. We use it over and over again everyday. The fabric is long lasting. We've been using these wraps for over a year and have not had any wear out yet! Our patients like them because they are comfortable. Some have asked for them to have at home and I have referred them to your website for ordering. Thank you for providing such a great product at such a reasonable price.

Gel insert to heat burst the 2nd time I heated it, @ only 15 seconds. Disappointed about that. I now have it in a Baggie so it won't oooze every where. I haven't heated since it burst. Love the wrap portion. Just wish the insert was more durable. Will look for a different insert so I can continue to use it.

It's very handy to keep both hot and cold packs in awkward places. It allows you to move around while you have it on.

Easy to put on back,shoulder,and knee. I've used pack both hot and cold. The only con is that I can't warm it up as much as I would like to. I have another gel heat pack that does allow more heat and fits in the wrap. Would recommend product to others.

A wonderful idea. Would be helpful if there were another adjustable strap (to go under the left arm --see photo) that could be used to prevent the wrap from slipping and to help keep the cold pack in the desired location. The cold pack provided does not stay cold enough. I am using regular 5" x 7" freezer gel packs in the wrap.

This product need some tweeking. I would still recommend it.

Great idea. I have used it on my knee and on my elbow tendonitis. Wish the gel pack part were larger and could be frozen, rather than refrigerated, so that the cooling part would last longer. The wrap part is valuable for holding the gel snuggly in place.

I needed somethng that I could use while moving
around. Its ease of using works well for me. I have apinched nerve on my sholder and I can't reach it with anything else. I need the heat part, but can't just sit and wait for it to work.

I use this for back and shoulder pain. I like that it is easy to use. You just wrap it around your body and use the velcro to keep it in position. I use a regular freezer pack instead of the cold pack. It lasts longer.
If you have any question about size, I would get a large. The velcro sticks to any part of the band.

I like this because of the big wide strap and the large cooling area. It just has a problem with staying in place, otherwise I really like it.

The pack did not get hot enough when microwaved for the 15 seconds recommended. Nor when I pushed it to 30 seconds. However, 1 minute was too much and the inner bag burst. I like the outer workings , so now I have to find another heatable pouch for the inside.

I like the design, and it is well made. However, the instructions say to place it in the refrigerator, not the freezer. As such, it's never quite cold enough - I'll likely go back to using the freezer gel packs instead. I haven't, however, tried to heat it in the microwave, so perhaps the heating aspect is more effective.

I bought a medium wrap for myself and liked it so much I bought another one. The cold pack doesn't last very long, so I use it with an ice pack. It's great to wrap around my knees. (Too much gardening) I bought a large one for my father to use after he had shoulder surgery. He said it really helped the pain.

This is so great because you can hold a pack where it needs to be. My husband has been having shoulder problems for months an it really diffcult to hold something on the shoulder but this does the trick comfortably.

It holds ice or warm product just where it should. No more ice pack slipping around - not giving you the pain relief you need. No more holding a warm cloth in place in order to get the comfort needed to sooth a joint.

The only drawback is that the holding pouch could be a little longer.

The wrap is very well made, much better than others I've owned. It is easy to target a specific area of the back, shoulder, arm, foot, etc.. My only complaint is that you can't freeze the cold pack that comes with it; it must be kept in the refrigerator. This is fine most of the time. However, sometimes I prefer an ICE pack. I should note that you can easily slip a different pack into the wrap as needed.

When my "Wing" is out of wack or my ribs feel like they are sprained. Can even use it on my lower back. The only pack with a GREAT elastic that holds it in place.

If I didn't move too much, it worked, but unfortunately getting it to stay in place and not get twisted made the whole thing too stressful and caused my muscles to tense up more!

It was not really hot after the recommended heating time, so it had to be heated a bit more. It's fine for legs or arms, but for a man, the gel pack is too small to be used on a shoulder as the picture depicts.

The wrap allows one to place the heat/cold in the exact area which needs it. It then stays in place easily.

I GOT THIS FOR MY MOM WHO HAS A SHOULDER INJURY. SHE REALLY LIKES IT THOUGH THE HOT COLD PACK IS SMALL SO IT ONLY COVERS A SMALL AREA. IT IS EASY TO PUT ON WITH THE VELCRO WHICH IS NICE.

Purchased to reduce swelling on knee from surgery for a torn meniscus. It's also used for arthritis and strains. The great thing is that it can be used hot or cold.

Very easy way to hold an ice pack where you want it. The ice pack that comes with the wrap is too thin to be useful for more than a few minutes. I just put a better ice pack in the pocket to solve that problem.

i used this product on my shoulder when i had surgery for a torn rotator cuff. it worked great! it stayed in place and was easily removed and placed.
