    When using for the lower back, with it between me and the sofa back, I had to continually press very hard to keep it from turning off. It should have a button that keeps it on even if you release the pressure even slightly.

    It does take a little patience to make it work the way you would like it to but when it works, it works!

    It's just like having your cell phone on vibrate mode but a little stronger. The sponge around it is not that thick or strong enough to cushion you tho.

    I was rather disappointed with this product. I need to push too hard on it to make it work. With carpal tunnel & arthritis this is not a good thing. It works okay if you sit on it(I have bursitis in my hip)but the constant hum is irritating. It sounds like a truck is idling outside.

    Works well and like that you can depress the button beneath the padding--is almost automatic. Don't like that you have to use a lot of batteries. It only runs about 15 minutes on my AA rechargeables.

    I bought these as christmas gifts for my childrens teachers and care givers. They were unique and economical, but probably not as effective as they could of been. Everyone loved them, but I don't know that this is a gift they will get to use for a long period of time. I'm concerned that they may not be as effective as I want them to be, and therefore they will get set aside and forgotten.

    We love the idea that you can use the massage pod while you are driving down the road. My husband and I take alot of road trips and after awhile he gets an achy spot in his shoulder area. He can put the massage pod on the seat in the area of his discomfort and lean back and get a massage while driving down the road. Makes my life easier because I don't have to massage his shoulder from the passenger seat anymore!

    I purchased this for myself for neck pain that I deal with constantly. And, who doesn't have a little tension in the neck area once in a while? It is very easy to use, convenient, and does ease the pain and tension. However, the only downfall I can see is the noise level. The sound is a little on the loud side. So if you can just relax and "ignore" the noise, it's a great little way to ease pain and relax.
