Comments about Silk Neck and Back Wrap:

I love the weight and size of the wrap. The only suggestion is to replace the metal zipper with velcro. I didn't notice the metal zipper tab, and it caused arching in my microwave and ruined my microwave. Also, I burned myself on the metal zipper tab.

Comments about Silk Neck and Back Wrap:

I've tried to use this product to ease stree & to soothe my back aches. The biggest problem for me is trying to gat the warm flaxseed pack into the cover. 8 out of ten times by the time I do get in properly, it's no longer warm. Don't use as often as I'd like to becauseof this problem.

Comments about Silk Neck and Back Wrap:

The microwavable insert is hard to insert back into the case once it's warmed up. By the time I finished fussing with the hot insert and gotten it nicely laid out, the warmth dissipated significantly. The zipper needs to be in a more strategic location, to help facilitate inserting a hot, shapeless bean bag. Also if the bean bag has a more stiffer shape, it will help with handling.

The only problem I have with this product is the silk that's on the outside. By the time you get the silk back on, the wrap is cooling off. It would have been better if you could have put it all in the microwave.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Comments about Silk Neck and Back Wrap:

Of all the "comfort" or "spa" items I have, this is the least effective (heat) and most inconvenient to use. The instruction to remove insert to heat and then re-insert into liner, causes heat loss and therefore effectiveness. There are too many more products that work better than to waste money on this one.

Comments about Silk Neck and Back Wrap:

I really like this product and use it daily, especially when I'm going to bed. I have back problems and this really seems to help. The only problem I had with it and I learned a little trick to handle it, was putting it back in the cover after heating. I hold the top open, kind of under my chin and make sure the shoulder parts are hanging down correctly and going into the proper place then it all slips in easy and I hold the top frimly while zipping it up.

Comments about Silk Neck and Back Wrap:

I love the size and the warmth and it stays even warmer the 2nd or 3rd time you warm it up. I dislike the clumsiness of removing the insert from the silk zippered cover. Make the cover in cotton (w/ velcro instead of a metal zipper) so the whole thing can be popped in the microwave and it would be perfect

Comments about Silk Neck and Back Wrap:

Doesn't get warm enough. It's a hassle to remove the silk wrap before heating, the silk is also bothered by the heat and puckers. I thought the drape of it over my shoulders would be delightful, but I'm disappointed. Haven't tried chilling it yet.

bought it for my mother who was bedridden. It worked great as she could lay down with no problem & had no bulk to make her uncomfortable. It kept all the areas of pain heated & relieved some if it for her. It almost looked like a bedcoat rather than a heating pad. Loved the product & would recommend to anyone who is bedridden.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Silk Neck and Back Wrap:

After a particularly bad back week for my husband, he finally succumbed to my suggestion that he try this neck and back wrap. He couldn't believe how well it worked. He summed it up saying "some of those girlie things are really pretty good".

I love how the long flaps wrap over your shoulders. They hold the weight so it doesn't slide down my back like others have. Great for watching TV at night unwinding with the family.

The only thing against it is the silk cover. It's pretty, but you can't microwave the cover and once the wrap is good and hot, it is a pain to hold correctly to slip into the cover. It works great without the cover, though. And if you're using it for the winter chill, instead of a twinging back injury, you wouldn't need it as hot as I get it and it would be easier to maneuver into the cover without burning your fingertips.

Overall, LOVE IT and will buy more for my mother, mother-in-law, and one for my husband too.

Comments about Silk Neck and Back Wrap:

The inner section must be removed to heat it in the microwave. Then it has to be reinserted into the silk outer covering. Because of the configuration, this takes time and patience. When I'm in pain, I have little of either.

Once it is in place, it works beautifully.

Comments about Silk Neck and Back Wrap:

I was very disappointed with this product, for several reasons. First, it requires dissassembling it before putting it in the microwave. It is not easy to reassemble it (put the insert back into the silk cover.) Second, it does not hold heat very long. Third, it had a bit of an odd odor to it.
