It's just a great deal and I'm thrilled with the purchase.

I first noticed this type of mat at my friends in Scotland and loved it. I was thrilled to be able to get one; I love the feeling of stepping on it when I get out of the shower, it is non slip, wicks water away, dries quickly. It is also ecofriendly & sustainable, so it is great for our environment. I only wish it came in a few different sizes.

We purchased two of these mats. If you use them flat side down on the floor, they can become mildewed. One of ours did and now has a stain on it. I cleaned with a brush and laid out in the sun, but the stain remained. I now use knobby side down which allows air to flow under mat.

This mat was so big I could not fit it in my small bathroom. I cut it in half and use it in the bathroom and the kitchen. I like the bumps but wife does not so she just flips it over to the smooth side when she showers.In the kitchen she puts a thin rug over it, still feels good to me so I don't feel the need to explain the water resistance properties of cork at this time to her. After 35 years you learn to pick your battles.

I loved this mat in our bathroom for the first couple of months we had it, but it did in fact begin to warp and roll up and I had to toss it out into the garage for my husband to use at his workbench. I hate to have to replace it every few months. That's a little too expensive. If this could last for a year or so without the rolling it would be perfect.

We use it to prevent wet feet from coming in to the house after using the spa outdoors. The dogs and the cat do not pester it and it stays in place with them playing around in the hallway. Far better than a rug - easier to clean and looks good, plus its a natural product.

i bought this item with hopes of eliminating a soaked bath rug after showers. i did eliminate the wet rug, however, the mat DID absorb water and after a couple of weeks, the edges started rolling upward and the bottom of the mat started mildewing. this is the only product from gardeners supply that i have ever been unhappy with. :o(

We purchased our first cork mat to use as a shower mat but added a second mat in the water closet at my husband's suggestion. The mats are non-slip, clean, and warm. We have tile floors in the bath, and the cork insulates that cold perfectly, plus it just feels good!

I have one in each of my bathrooms. They are clean, fresh, dry fast and work better than any bath mat I have ever owned. The only thing I have found which can be avoided is stains. We are a family that like to run around barefoot in the summer. At night when we come in to wash our feet the clay soil in our neck of the woods has started to cause stains.

Living in Oregon bath mats are a challenge. So I decided to try this. Awesome. The cork airs off the water and next day it is dry, unlike mats that just turn into soggy lumps!
So far no problems with it at all.
Be sure you place the dimpled side up! It comes with no instructions.

I reviewed this item in March. It was warping but we found a simple solution, and that is to simply turn it over. I thought the indented side should face up (and maybe so, as a foot massager), but we use the flat side and it hasn't warped. It might be because warmer weather has finally arrived here at the high altitude. Whatever the cause, the warping seems to have gone away. We do prefer this to a standard mat that has to be laundered.

Saw cork mats being used regularly in the UK and was determined to find a source in the US. Too big for our bathrooms but really good and attractive for kitchen use, standing while cooking, etc. And easy to keep clean and color-wise OK with wood-like floor. I had been looking for a cork mat for sometime, but didn't want to pay the prices I had seen. This mat fills the bill for me. I love the feel of the textured surface underfoot. The large size means less water on the floor and less cold tile to step onto. It was a little bit of an adjustment to get used to the firm surface after being used to stepping onto a rug; I had thought that cork would be a little bit softer. Still, I am quite statisfied with my cork mat and ordered 2 more for my other home!

I really like this cork bath mat. It's not like ordinary bath mat that absorbs water and that you need to wash it often. It will not get WET and the best thing to "take care" of the product is simply just put it up against the wall after use, and it will dry itself and be like new again.

I'm very glad I finally ordered this mat. It feels good after a shower/bath and I just take a small hand towel to blot up the excess water. I wanted to use this in front ofmy sink to stand on and it is great for that. However,I found that food stains got on it and I was not able to remove most of them easily. So now I put a small rug on top of the cork mat. I wanted just the cork mat without anything on top but this is not possible. At least the whole "assembly" stays put and does not move around.

The mat I use outside the shower or bath. A regular bathmat slips; this does not. I have a very bad back. I use a walker which I used to have to grab onto to keep from sliding on the floor. This mat prevents me from slipping. I now feel much more secure getting in and out of the shower and tub. I have to use a motorized piece of equipment to lower and then raise me in the tub.

I keep this bath mat in the master bathroom, where my husband and I both use it after showering. It's much better than a fabric bath mat (no need to worry about drying it out, or stepping onto wet, soggy fabric, or washing it). It dries on its own, absorbs water from wet feet wonderfully, and can be easily moved out of the way. I enjoy the feel of the mat beneath my feet - it is firm but not hard like a bathroom floor.

I did expect a thicker mat, but it does the job as well as I expected. I have not experienced any leaks or puddling as other reviewers have. It is larger than I anticipated - it just about fits in the space between my shower and the toilet. Once I have finished using it, I just lean it up against the wall until next time.

I would purchase this product again, and would recommend it to others.

Water is not absorbed into the mat, but on the side not used, I saw some mildew. If the mat is left on the floor mildew will grow. The problem with the mat is it's size. It is large and slightly awkward. So, after use the mat has to be stood up on it's side in order for it to dry.

This mat has already seen a lot of traffic with a family of five. My toddler always splashes water and the older ones seldom dry off completely. I wanted a mat that dried quickly and this one fits the bill.

Compared to regular bath mats, this one has little cushioning, but I am getting accustomed to it and prefer this over a wet mat.

I used the product as described, outside of the shower. The mat is fairly unattractive, not particularly comfortable on the feet, and water remained on it. I put the mat in the tub to drain off the water and the mat left a mark of corkiness in the tub. I consider this mat a really poor product.

It is a beautiful mat, but how does one clean it? While water will evaporate, the stuff in the water is left behind to mix into the nooks and crannies. I'm afraid to scrub it for fear of destroying the cork.

I love the design, the smell of the recycled wine corks, the fact that it's made in Portugal, and the size (for a small bathroom, this mat is huge!) My only problem is when you step out of the bath/shower, the water "pools" meaning it doesn't absorb fast enough for my taste. I find myself walking around the mat to find dry areas! It's kind of funny actually! If you want instant dryness for your feet, then this is not the product for you. However, it does dry within an hour after use, has a great look and feel and is a nice eco-product. I was getting sick of fabric bath mats so this is a nice alternative.

since my bathroom in my home i rent does not have an exhaust fan, mold is an issue for me. this bathmat is so much better then any traditional mat. not only does is prevent mold, but i also dries almost instantly, and looks very spa like. also the large size of this mat for the price was a waaaaay better value than other cork mats i had comparison shopped for online. another happy surprise is that this mat is made from recycled wine stoppers (i did not initially realize this when i ordered).
