I had a sudden onset of arthritis in my right hand as the result of major trauma to that hand. The moist heat from these mitts was such a godsend. Even my hand therapist said they were good for easing the pain of arthritis. It takes 48 seconds in the microwave and they give calming relief for at least 20 minutes or so. I found the fragrance to be mild and just right. The mitts machine-wash nicely without shrinkage. I have ordered several pairs for friends who are thrilled to discover them - highly recommend and you can't beat the price!

I ALWAYS have cold hands, sometimes so cold that they hurt. With these I was immediately SO comfortable. It would have helped if the instructions told you that the warm insert went on TOP of your hand--(but I did figure that out). The separate thumb permits you to pick things up or turn pages without taking them off. My only negative was the strong lavendar odor the first time I wore them. By the second time it was pleasantly faint. I would definitely buy them again! Thank you Gardeners' Supply!

Have Fibromyalgia that causes constant pain. Some days my hands ache and I cannot find relief. Saw the Happy Mitts and thought 'what do I have to loose?' Was surprised when I used them and actually felt some easing in the muscles. My only 'complaint' is that they only warm one side and not both. Would be better if one could slide sore hands into an all encompassing wrap. Ordering another set for my aunt.

I actually bought the "Happy Mitts" this winter to use after almost daily snow shoveling here in Connecticut. My hands were not only "achy" but had become chapped, cracked and red--not matter how many gloves or mittens I wore when shoveling.

The warmth they provided felt wonderful, after being out in the freezing cold. They also helped moisturize my hands and the lavender aroma was very relaxing to the spirit, as well.

The first time I used these mitts, I almost burned myself. I put it in the microwave for the recommended amount of time and when I put my hand in, I felt like I had touched a hot iron. After they cooled for a while, I tried again and they did feel wonderful and eased the arthritis in my hands. The smell was a little strong to before they cooled down but it was not so bad after the cool down. Wish I had something like this for my knees!

The Happy Mitts are just great. I have arthritis in mostly my thumbs and that was the only disappointment....there is no heat in the thumbs. However. I can tuck my thumbs into the main part of the warm mitten. It's heavenly. I warm them up and use them at night when I can't get to sleep due to aching hands/thumbs. They smell great and I think lavendar is supposed to aid with sleep also.

In the winter months, I sometimes wake up with my hands aching due to arthritis in my joints. I slip my achy hands in my Happy Mitts and soon I have Happy Hands! It would be nice if the opening into the mitt was just a tad bit larger around. It would also be nice if you could slip your hands between two layers of heat! But the one layer does the trick! They have a nice fragrance and are easy to slip on. They are big and you cannot do anything with your hands when you have them on. Even reading a book can be a difficult, but if you want to sit and relax, these do the trick. I bought these as a gift for my mother, who has arthritis.
