Bought this in December for a Christmas gift. It worked for maybe 30 days before getting loud. And it wasn't every day use. Then the fan stopped completely and was useless. Will never buy one again and don't recommend it to anybody.

We bought this for our daughters room to add moisture and use for essential oils. It works as expected. I read the other reviews before purchasing and do agree that it is on the noisy side and the red line does wear off. The noise is similar to a fan running and not horrible, more of a white noise to fall asleep to. I resolved the red line issue by measuring the amount of water before using, roughly 3/4 cup and marked a line with a sharpie on the outside for reference. I've used it with peppermint oil to help with colds and it really worked out great. Overall I'm not overwhelmed by the product but satisfied.

Holds only about 3 cups of water, which lasts about 4 hours (depending on your room humidity). Can be noisy (about as much as a cheap humidifier), but the major plus is that you can use it with essential oils, it doesn't take long for the oils to cycle through, so you can easily change scents upon a whim (unlike stick diffusers). Really does a good job of scenting a room quickly. Oh, and the oils quickly erase the fill line, so remember where it is!

I have this in the main office of a school. I change fragrances often, using lavender on hectic days, eucalyptus on stuffy days, and cinnamon during the holidays! It receives RAVE reviews. Everyone asks how they can get one and comment on how wonderful the office smells. Some just come in to sit and relax! Ill students enjoy coming to the office because they say they feel better because of the mist and the soothing smells! Any scent you use is FAB! WONDERFUL PRODUCT INDEED!

I got this mister for my kitten because she is sneezing from the dry air. I like it because of the humidity and the scent that comes out of it. It is simple for me to use and also works. I use several different oils in it and it makes the air smell great. This is safer than one of those candle oil burners and it is also humidifying so you skin doesn't get dry. The only thing is after a couple of uses I lost the red fill line so that should be fixed but besides that I fill it to where I think it needs to be and it has been working wonderfully. Thinking of getting another.

Didn't want to mess with a full size cold mist humidfier and bought this one for one person use. It isn't big enough for full room use but sitting next to your chair, on your computer desk or on the nightstand it does help with dry nasal passages. The one I use with essential oils has become very noisy at start up but quiets down in a couple of minutes. If you are not looking for something to humidify or fragrance large areas this is a good little unit.

This product is very poorly constructed. Mine worked fine the first two times I used it -- for short periods each time. From then on, it has been very unreliable. Many times when we try to use it, it will not turn on. When it does work, the motor is so noisy that we worry that it may be a fire hazard. It has finally cut off completely.

BEWARE! I would recommend strongly *against* buying this item.! I wish I had read the other (negative) reviews before I purchased.

I have forced air heat and house is dry. have used humidifiers before but the cleaning and the possiblilty of alge and germs in filter got to be too involved.Replacememt filters were expensive.

This unit almost cleans itself. I bought one for a gift and one for me. One drop of Lavender is all it takes. Three drops were overpowering.
I give this product two thumbs up.I plan on purchasing more for gifts. By the way, your catalog is terrific.

I use at night, and in the morning I find that the unit is still a bit warm. I make sure to shut it off with control when I get up.

I love this item and use it every night. I keep a 32 oz container of distilled water by my bedside so I can refill it if it runs out during the night. (That's the main drawback - it runs out of water in about 4 hours, and I wish the mist dispersed more slowly so it ran for about 8 hours on 8 oz of water - or was slightly larger so it would have a longer run time. The other drawback is the product makes a different noise when it is running out of water and that noise sometimes wakes me up. That's why I keep the water by the bed so it's easy to refill.)

I like this product because it's so simple to use and I can direct the extra moisture right where I want it, which is where I'm sleeping. I also like the rainbow colors, which I find soothing. And, I love adding a few drops of essential oils for the aromatherapy effects.

All in all, this product could be improved slightly, but I'm not aware of any other product on the market like it. I've had mine for a year and if it broke, I'd have to buy a new one! I'm hooked!

I use this mainly with lavender oil at night. It does fine for that, but is tempermental....after a short time, it would not turn on. I finally got to where I turned it on and sometime during the night it would come on. For what it is designed to do, it does fine. If you're looking for a humidifier to run all night, this is not the product. If you're looking for some relaxing fragrance to help you fall asleep, this will work fine...as long as it does work.

I had the Spa Mister on nearly every day at work this past winter. It really made a difference around my desk - usually the air is very dry and very warm this added just enough moisture and cool air to make me comfortable. I love it and will be using it again this winter.
