The wrap itself isn't bad, but the odor was awful. I couldn't leave it on the first time I tried it. Even my teen daughter was appalled by the odor. I don't know what else was added, but I am sending it back and going back to my original fragrant free bed buddy!

The chenille cover is very soft against the skin. I've also been using this as a bed warmer by slipping it between the sheets just before I go to bed. On really cold nights, I leave the wrap under the covers with me, which keeps me warm and toasty without the dangers of an electric blanket. Great all purpose item, a super value for the price. I have always had ear problems. When I was a child, my Mother used to put wet hot washclothes in a plastic bag then wrap that in a towel for me to use on my sore ears. The heat didn't last very long and the wet bag would get all over. I found the wrap easy to use by gathering the cover sleeve in the middle of the wrap and making sure all the contents are near the ends before putting it into the microwave. After it is warm I just readjust the cover sleeve to protect the wrap and drape it around my neck. I find the smell pleasant.

Having both knees replace sometimes pain pills just don't get it.
