    I requested a weather house for Christmas and was almost ready to send it back because it wasn't doing anything after I had adjusted it a few times. It took many tries, and then the weather house started working and has worked perfectly ever since! I think it takes awhile for the mechanism to "cure" and start registering the humidity. So, my advice is, don't give up. It took at least six months for my weather house to get up and running, and the little man and woman have been popping in and out as they are supposed to, ever since. I love it! I especially like the design, too, because it doesn't have one of those hokey plastic thermometers glued to the front like other weather houses I've seen.

    I set it up and I am not sure it is working. The lady has been out the entire time and we have had a couple snowstorms.

    My mother loved it as her father use to make them back in the 1930's.

    The weather house was set on Christmas and 10 days later nothing has changed.
    We have had mixed weather. It is inside on a windowsill.
    Was it meant for outdoors? That would not be advisable in Ohio.

    This weather house costs too much for the size, also it does not accurately present the actual weather conditions. We sent the first one back because it was not accurate and we are having the same problem with the replacement. Don't waste your money on this unless you want a small replica of a house and want to spend [$]
