We used the bench cover to protect our rope hammock chair in the winter. You must use the ties and grommets to secure the cover to your furniture - don't just throw the cover over it and expect it to work. But when used properly, it works great. Our cover survived the big Chicago blizzard in 2011 with 60 mph winds and 20 inches of snow. The cover did not blow away, and it protected our beautiful piece of furniture.

While the cover I purchased was not designed for an air conditioner, that is precisely how it is being used. I live in an area with really strong winds, and all the other air conditioner covers I've used (and there have been many) are ripped to shreds the first time I put them on. This cover is used to protect an old wooden bench from winter rains.

This bench cover comes with strings to slip through grommets to tie the cover to the furniture, which would be handy in a windy area.

My previous bench cover, from another vendor, after two years in an unprotected area completely disintegrated from sun damage. Better the cover than the bench, of course. This time around I've got the bench under trees, out of the sun. I expect this cover will last longer.

My only complaint at this point is a general one about so many garden items: why are they in such ugly, unnatural colors? Just because the label on the dye says "green" doesn't mean it's going to blend in with the many different greens of a garden! Black disappears into the shadows and background, dark browns, grays or very dark greens are second best. Utility items or items covered in plastic are things you don't want to be distracting from the beauty of your garden - so why can't they be manufactured with dark, dark natural colors (or black) that disappear into the shadows?

It was easy to put on and looks fine outside. My chairs were a bit taller so it does not go clear to the ground. Since the top of the chair at either end is a bit sharp I put old wash clothes underneather the cover as an extra padding. I thought that would help so the cover would have less of a chance of tearing. We get some very high winds and the covers were just fine. I'll see how many seasons I can get without damage.

When I got the cover, I put it on a patio glider. I had just rebuilt the glider and didn't want to keep hauling it across the lawn to the storage shed each year. A day later, returning from a trip, I found the cover missing. During a bit of windy weather, the cover apparently lifted itself off the glider, over or around our house and shrubs, across the front lawn, across the roadway and lodged in a picket fence behind a neighbor's house. There was no damage to the cover after its adventure. This time, I TIED IT DOWN, put a brick on the cover and put the glider legs on top of the tie-down strings. So far, that's working. The glider is protected. Hmmh, maybe a center strap or tie to keep it from inflating from wind underneath?

No items were placed on the cover and no heavy objects fell on it. Consequently, my chaise lounge cushion is damaged and there is mold growing on the wood. I didn't expect mold to grow on my chaise lounge chair which was purchased at this same online store.

Received the patio furniture coverings just in time for Chicago's first snowfall but discovered that I needed one more bag for the cushions. Each holds four large cushions comfortably and I have 4 large and 4 small cushions.

Easy enough to unfold and put over the lawn table and 4 chairs. However chair backs higher than table top so had to put some buckets under the middle so it would drain off the edges rather than make a pond in the middle of the cover. Also What appeared at first to be a long cord to tie the cover down, turned out to be a handfull of short chopped up cord pieces good only for tying to chair legs. Shortly after installation, we had 25 mph winds and the cover came off the table and took two chairs with it (not far though). A better design would have been a cord long enough (30 ft?) to thread through all the gromets so the bottom could be cinched down tight against the chair legs below the chair seat level. Then it would not move in a wind storm.

Bought chair, table group and glider covers. Just in time for the first big snowstorm of the season. My porch and patio furniture is protected from snow and ice now. Would like to see suggestions on how to keep water from collecting in the table/chair cover. Chair backs are higher than table, and we had to take it apart, drain gallons of water out of it, and put plastic buckets onto the table to make it higher than the chairs so that the water would run off. They look sturdy, but only a midwestern winter's worth of use will tell us for sure if they were worth the investment. The high-backed chair covers work well on all of my furniture pieces.

The cover is a good-quality, heavy material that fits well, although when I first secured it over our table and chairs, the strong Oklahoma wind lifted it from underneath and blew it across our deck. After that, I added another cord and secured it around the heavy base of the table. I have a potting bench that my husband made for me. Because it sits under a pergola, it needs a cover for weather protection. I was not able to find a potting bench cover -- and it is costly to get one custom made -- so when I discovered that your bench cover has the approximate dimensions, I decided to try it. It fits perfectly width and depth-wise. The cover does not, however, go all the way to the ground, but looks more like the bench is wearing a short skirt. Because of the relative shortness, we need to attach bungee cords at the grommets to tighten the cover at the bottom. As far as recommending the cover to others, I don't know yet. The real test is how well it stands up to our winter. We have rain, snow, hail, and wind here so that should be a good test for how sturdy the material is. So far, I'm thrilled to have found a reasonably priced cover that fits and is waterproof.

This item was described as rectangular. For those who skipped geometry, a rectangle has 4 corners. Each one is a 90 degree angle. I purchased the large cover for circular dining set in 2/09. By 7/09, there was a large hole where the weave of the construction had come undone. It has faded in spots. I would not recommend this product to friends. I thought about duct taping the hole for the winter but I think I will trash it and go to my local dicsount place and get a cover for alot less. When I first received these patio furniture covers, I actually wrote a review saying I thought they would hold up really well, but unfortunately they haven't at all. In fact, the covers now have holes in them where the sun appears to have weakened the material--even touching the covers now creates new holes, which we are forced to cover with unattractive duct tape, which will inevitably let the rain in anyway. So far I find the cover to work well. It keeps the table underneath clean and has held up to wind and rain. It is also fairly easy to clean the top of it if it gets any dirt on it. It remains to be seen how long it will last but so far (have had it for a month) I am happy with it.

Perfect if you live in an area that gets lots of rain. It is so light weight that I was afraid it might blow off during a windy storm, but it DIDN'T. The adirondack cover also fits our hammock chair.

I have purchased other outdoor furniture covers that barely lasted one season before fading and tearing. So far these have held up much better. I just bought 3 of the furniture covers so I don't know yet how they'll hold up, but the material is thin and they don't appear to be strong enough to last long. The cover that's supposed to work for a table with 4-6 chairs is too small for my table with 4 chairs. So far I'm disappointed.

The bench cover protected our bench from a very cold and snowy winter. I uncovered the bench yesterday and it is just the way it had been when I covered it in the late fall. The cover did not leak. It held together in all our wind. We were so glad to have had it. I hope it does as well next winter.

I use this on a deck glider. It was easy to fit, and secure. However, in heavy winds it "balloons" and pushed the deck forward and over. It would benefit from more/different ties, but placing a weighted pot on the bottom back works too.

I found that the cover is large enough to easily protect a metal outdoor patio table for six, plus six chairs and an additional couple of dinning chairs that are kept on my patio nearby. Living in So. Cal., I'm not anticipating the need to use this cover after our spring rains in March ~ but I'm hoping that the cover can be stored and used again in future years.

I live in an area of extreme climates, from blazing sun to cold and snow and occasional high winds, so I need a water-resistant sturdy cover that stands up to years of both heat and cold with tie-downs for those winds. This way I can leave my furniture outside as I have no room for inside storage. I also have leaf debris that will accumulate and get "gunky" after it snows so the covers need to be washable. This is my first year with these covers but I can already tell they will work great.

I like the way they worked on teak side chairs that were not the exact size. I had to get the chaise size cover for an arm chair and ottoman to fit. The teak furniture is larger than the sizes furnished.

I purchased the round patio table and chairs cover and it does fit quite nicely, but the material is the same as the $10 tarps I could have purchased at the local [...]. It is very thin (not sure yet if we will have flapping noises in the wind) and I doubt it will last a whole season as we are on the lake and can get very strong winds over our patio (only time will tell). The tie downs were handy to hold it in place, and it was impossible to find a round table cover in a store. Overall, I probably would recommend spending a 1/4 of the price on a piece of tarp or buying a more expensive cover somewhere else.

The covers are well made and fit the chairs just fine. The only complaint I have is that there are no ties to anchor the cover to the chair. I ran wire through the grommets to make the cover snug under the chair and prevent a wind gust from lifting it off.

The adirondack chair covers are great and fit well. Easy to slip over chairs. It came with three strings to tie at the bottom of the covers but there were no directions on how to tie them or how to thread them. Ackward because there were three and not just one long tie. Not sure how to utilize these. But the cover itself words well.

I was please to find a round patio table cover that fits my table perfectly. Most are too big since I cover my chairs separately. We don't have space to store our large patio table and six chairs inside during the winter, so a good, durable cover is essential. Our deck gets exceptionally windy, so much so that two heavy metal car wheels I used to help hold the cover on were blown off the table and a few of the cover ties were ripped from their holes. Since the cover has many ties, it stayed on. The only thing is that our chairs are higher than those the cover was designed for, so fitting the cover on was a bit of a hassle, but that's not the fault of the cover.

I used this produce to cover my patio furniture during the winter. It did reduce the amount of rusting that occurs when a voer is not used. The only negative aspect is that it gets filled with rain, snow, and ice which puts stress on the seams and actually tore in one place.
