It's easy to grow flowers and herbs indoors when you provide them with adequate light. This light green laquered wooden planter is slim enough to fit on a shelf, and comes with two compact fluorescent lights inside to keep your plants growing strong. The box has a water-resistant green finish and a watertight PVC liner inside to prevent leaks and rot. As your plants grow, you can adjust the height of the light fixture in 3" increments from 16" to 23". Solid-state ballast won’t flicker or buzz. After a lot of procrastinating, I finally assembled it over the spring and was able to start some of my favorite herbs in it - basil, parsley and mint. Since those did so well in it, I'm looking forward to using it more in the fall and winter and trying out a tomato and pepper plant!
