    I loved this vase. I hung it in my small office window with Ivy in it. Unfortunately I knocked it down when changing the curtains. It fell on a thin carpet and broke. I have been trying to get another one for about a year, and they are always unavailable. I would recommend if I can ever get my hands on one again.

    We don't have curtains or shades for our windows, so this provides some visual interest in the windows. I have had them now for several months and have not had to clean them.

    I also like to start plants from seed and also from cuttings, so this is perfect for me.

    I haven't seen any down side to these (except that I had to give away one to a friend who saw them and and just had to have one!

    I ordered one of each color. They are bigger than i thought they would be. I thought they would come with a suction cup and a place to be attached by suction cup liked it looked in the picture. Its not though they are atttached by fishing wire at the top. Havnt tried them for stem rootings yet.

    The description for this product was not complete enough in that it did NOT say that they would need to be hung. Looking at the picture it looked as if they could be suctioned to the window pane. I kept them anyway but did have difficulty hanging them.

    I am buying my second one. The vase is attractive empty hanging in the window but even better with a cutting in it. I have been successful rooting several types of plants, especially philodendron.

    Even in Arizona I only have to add a bit of water every week or two.

    I bought 2 of the bubble rooting vases for my Mom for Christmas. She loves them, but we noticed that they were made in China. That was a disappointment for me. Mom didn't say anything, but I know she noticed.

    These vases come with fishing line attached to them. Well, that's not really practical. You have to hang it from a curtainrod for that to really work. I think it would be better if there were a suction cup on the vase so that it could stick to more surfaaces NEAR light and not directly in the window. Just a thought.

    Overall my Mom loved the vases. Just buy them from somewhere in America.

    As I wrote to customer service, the photograph on this item is slightly misleading, because it is shot straight on. The glass vases are globes. They're not flattened rounds. The glass hanger on the back of the lip of the neck causes the globes to hang slightly off kilter. This is a little irritating because these vases are designed to hang at eye level, and "sort of balanced" is not good enough. People notice picture frames that are even 1/32 off so of course a tip of the colored neck of a few degrees is visible. Depending on what you're rooting, the leaves may cover up the imbalance. Had they shot a photo of the globe from the side, potential buyers make their buying decision seeing the small issue ahead of time. Or had the globe a hanger centered over the opening there wouldn't be a balance problem.

    The globes are pretty.

    I do not know how effectively the cutting will root in the royal blue bubble. I have only rooted plants in clear containers before.
