These compost pail liners do away with the messiest job in the kitchen: cleaning out the compost pail. No more scrubbing, no more odor, no need to carry the pail out to the compost pile. Comments about Biobags™:
I love this product and have used it for a very long time. In our humid weather we cannot take advantage of the sales offering for a larger quanity, for the bags break down too quickly....as they are supposed to do.
Comments about Biobags™:
We use the bags in the compost bucket in the kitchen. They are easy to use and to dispose of.
Glad I got them.
Comments about Biobags™:
So convenient and keeps my compost bucket CLEAN!
Comments about Biobags™:
Just starting the process of composting, but they seem thin enough to not hinder the process too much. Didn't realize these bags aren't a one-size fits all though- they're pretty big for the bamboo compost bin.
Comments about Biobags™:
I'm very happy to have a bag that is bio-degradable. This takes away the mess of emptying garbage from a sack that I have to then throw away.
Comments about Biobags™:
Although the bags are quite big for the kitchen composter, they are easy and convenient - especially in winter when I don't get out to the compost pile as frequently as other seasons.
Comments about Biobags™:
They don't leak after a week's coffee grounds, so no need to wash the container. A real plus for me. I wish they were a little smaller so there isn't so much to hang over the sides, but that is very minor. Have not tried to turn, so do not know how long they take to degrade.
Comments about Biobags™:
Makes cleaning the compost bucket MUCH easier and they do decompose fairly well
Comments about Biobags™:
Tired of the smells and clean up after every emptying of the compost pail, so Biobags have helped keep odors down and clean up an ease.
Comments about Biobags™:
These bags help to keeep the crock clean and really do compost quickly in my little compost machine!
Very easy to collect scraps -- I have left the bag in the crock for up to a week and have had no odor when I use the air filter with the crock.
The bags are a little big, but I can fold them over and tuck them inside the crock when I want a cleaner look.
Comments about Biobags™:
I bought these to use in the kitchen compost croc.I used it a few times, and was very pleased with it. However, due to the glaze in the croc it is not really necessary and I stopped using it. That way the croc looks prettier without the liner showing at the top. As for the bags they worked very well and was strong enough that there were no problems at all with them tearing.
Comments about Biobags™:
Love this product.
Comments about Biobags™:
At the present, I keep the bag to be filled on my sink area as I haven't found a rigid container that suits me. The bag helps me collect many scraps, even in snowy winter. I will see how the bags fair in the compost after spring arrives and temperatures warm. I like using these bags as they hold up to several days of in-house collection and get the job done of getting to the compost pile.
Comments about Biobags™:
The biobags are simply great! They are suprisingly strong and durable. And they hold a large quantity of food and compostable waste. Nicely done Gardener's Supply. I appreciate your commitment to quality.
Comments about Biobags™:
Makes composting less messy
Comments about Biobags™:
This product helps get my husband to help with the composting product!
Comments about Biobags™:
These bags are great at eliminating odors, especially if you hold your compost items for awhile like I do until I get a full bag.
Comments about Biobags™:
Made to fit the compost pails
Comments about Biobags™:
My sister introduced these biobags to me and they are well-worth the money. It keeps my stoneware compost jar clean and it is easy to remove and take to the compost bin.
Comments about Biobags™:
I have five cats and use biodegradable cat litter. I used to use plastic grocery bags for the the litter waste, but plastic bags aren't biodegradable, so I felt I wasn't accomplishing my goal to be earth friendly. I now use the Biobags for litter waste. Misson accomplished!

I use these bags in my metal compost pail. As a result I don't need to worry about cleaning the pail, and I no longer have to use a charcoal filter to eliminate smells.

I use biobags for composting kitchen scraps and coffee grounds. I like especially how I can throw the bag into the composter with the scraps and they break down with the rest of the compost.

These are teriffic--highly recommend them--large capacity, no odor from the scraps and SO easy to dispose of.

Comments about Biobags™:
When we run out of compost bags, that's when we're reminded how much we really like this product! Without the bag, the compost bucket is disgusting & must be washed thoroughly each time it's emptied. With the bags, a quick rinse is the most you usually need. That makes them an ecological choice because you use less water & energy. And they save us time & money. What's better than that!

Comments about Biobags™:
These biodegradable bags are ingenious! I've never had a problem with them not composting in my compost pile. I give them as gifts to my friends and family all the time.

Comments about Biobags™:
Love these. Makes composting kitchen scraps so much easier. Holds more than I thought they would. Just need to buy in bulk to lower their cost.

Comments about Biobags™:
All kitchen scraps I put into these and then take to the composter. They are great in that they degrade in the composter and I do not have to worry with disposing of a plastic bag. I have no complaint.

Comments about Biobags™:
I purchased the BioBags for the kitchen counter crock, to simplify saving scraps in winter for my worm bin. The bags work fine on the counter, except that they are much larger than the crock and form a sizable ruffle around the top. I thought the worms would eat both scraps and BioBag. However, they don't seem interested in the bag. I finally shook the scraps out and removed the bag. What to do with a used, empty BioBag?

Comments about Biobags™:
I've had a kitchen compost pail for over 10 years, but never thought I needed a liner. After living with the smell, and the mess, and the fruitflies laying eggs, I now have a solution! It is SO worth it to use BIOBAGS. I will never go back to a linerless pail again.
Comments about Biobags™:
I love these bags. Because they break down quickly, they can start that process before you empty a kitchen composter. Even when that happens, it still makes cleanup easier (as no pieces of compost get stuck to the pail). You have to be gentle when breaking the bags apart from the roll but even when they tear, they are still useable. We love them for both our kitchen scraps and our biodegradeable kitty litter. We don't compost without them. They are a great addition to our favorite steel pails from Gardner's.
Comments about Biobags™:
These bags really help us keep the counter top container clean. We don't always need to empty our counter top container everyday and these bags are great.
Comments about Biobags™:
We compost to save on amounts of garbage generated, to avoid putting food scraps in the sewer system (garbage disposal) and to improve our soil in the long run. These bags make it easier, so we really follow through on composting. I've given them as gifts, to fellow composters.
Comments about Biobags™:
We use this with the kitchen compost crock--love them. Easy, ecological, and no other clean-up needed.
Comments about Biobags™:
I HATED cleaning out the compost pail, and it can be a few days between trips to the compost bin. These bags are great. I just line the pail and fill it up over a few days. I fold the bag over on the top, the lid fits on, and you can't see it from the outside. When the pail is full, the bag just comes out, there's no leaking, no smell, and makes the trip to the compost bin much safer because I've almost dropped my ceramic compost pail a few times.
Comments about Biobags™:
We have gone from collecting kitchen waste in a brown bag to an attractive container with filter and biodegradable liner!! Finally...my kitchen does not look like a trash dump! My husband has a composter in the yard and this is a wonderful way to collect and store until ready to add to it.
Comments about Biobags™:
We only use them for coffee grounds. They hold a lot of grounds and filters. Be sure to squeeze out excess water from filter/grounds before putting in compost jar or you will have a "messy" bag when removing from jar.
Comments about Biobags™:
I use Biobags and no more plastic in garden again! Save Eco!
Comments about Biobags™:
I bought these for the bamboo kitchen bucket, and they fit the liner fine. It is mid-winter right now so I do not know if the bags are really going to break down in the compost pile or not, but they do hold together well enough to get into our larger compost pail we use to transfer out to the compost pile, and they don't leak significantly into the bucket liner.
Comments about Biobags™:
It is winter here, so not much bio-degrading going on. So far, the bags we've thrown in the compost bin are still sitting there. We'll see when the weather warms up if they actually degrade or if we have to empty them. We use our compost a lot and while these are convenient for tossing out messy compost, so far that's about it.
Comments about Biobags™:
It's great to haul out compost without having to bang the household compost bin on the edge of the outdoor compost bin to get everything out. You just grab the bag and walk it out all in one easy grab.
We haven't used these long enough to see them compost themselves yet, though. If that happens, then I'd pop the rating up to 5 stars.
Comments about Biobags™:
Put all kitchen scraps & coffee grounds in container - dump in compost pile when full (weekly). Works great!
Comments about Biobags™:
This product makes taking kitchen scraps to the compost bin easy and saves on the clean up of the compost pail.
Comments about Biobags™:
The key to composting is getting the material from the kitchen to the composter. This bag in a counter top bucket does the trick. Makes it easy to get your compostable stuff to the composter. Even for lazy people!
Comments about Biobags™:
We were sold on our composter before; but, these disposable bags make life so much easier. No longer do we have to trudge out to the outdoors with a full compost pail, struggling to empty it completely and without making a mess. The bags make life easier, eliminate the mess, and leave the compost pail clean and ready for use... Great, great product
Comments about Biobags™:
I love the convenience of having the composter right on my kitchen counter. Even when company comes for dinner, they ask what that is and i tell them i'm composting right there on my counter!! I gave a pkg to my brother recently and am waiting for his comment. I found the new ones i just received are harder to tear apart. i wasted quite a few before i could get one to tear the right way so i could use it. I wonder if they really will decompose? may ask brother as he keeps a fenced in area for his compost and then spreads it over the garden before tilling in the spring. i will let you know what i find out.sincerely, Kay Reynolds Longhairnurs[@]
Comments about Biobags™:
No need for a garbage disposal, and really helps keep the septic system from plugging up. But what's really great... my husband doesn't mind having to empty the compost pail! Just don't put too much juicy foods in it, it starts to decompose in the pail. Great product! We've used it for years, and have recommended it to many others including our children.
Comments about Biobags™:
I don't have to make the trips to the outside composter as often, the bags are great because there is no odor or mess.
Comments about Biobags™:
These bio-degradable bags are easy to use and make disposal of material a cinch!
Comments about Biobags™:
The bags fiit our container, handle everything we put in them and don't tear. Easy disposal and replacement. I will buy it again.
Comments about Biobags™:
We were collecting coffee grounds and food scraps in a milk container - messy. These bags make it so much easier to collect and dispose of kitchen compost materials and are biodegradeable. wish they were less expensive.
Comments about Biobags™:
I like the convenience of being able to take the bag out of my counter compost pail and the pail is clean, no messy cleaning, and no odor.
Comments about Biobags™:
The bio-bag is a convenient way to move scraps to the compost. It makes composting the messy scraps so easy and mess proof, I don't know how I got along without them for so long.
Comments about Biobags™:
We use the Biobags in our compost pail. It is so much easier to take out the contents to the compost bin. It also leaves the compost pail clean and without an odor. We highly recommend this product.
Comments about Biobags™:
Makes the collection and disposal easy.
Comments about Biobags™:
Gardener's Supply owes me a roll of 25 after all the torn ones from carefully trying to remove a new one from the roll. No matter how you unroll the new one a tear develops down the side making it unusable in the container. It would be nice to know how long it is expected for one to decompose in the pile, ours are still there after a year.
Comments about Biobags™:
I was worried that using these bags would make the lid on my composter too snug, but that is not the case. They are easy to use, big enough to hold all that I put in the can and they don't leak when we pull them out to take to the compost pile. I'm very happy with these bags.
Comments about Biobags™:
These compost liner bags make it easy to carry kitchen waste to the compost pile and save water since the pail doesn't need rinsing every time.
Comments about Biobags™:
With the bags, the compost bucket stays much cleaner with less odor. They compost pretty quickly even in our dry conditions.
Comments about Biobags™:
I prefer the biobags than lugging the crock to my outdoor compost bin at the edge of my property. The biobags reduce the cleaning required of the crock.
They do leak sometimes, depending on how quickly the crock fills (and how long the compost material sits) and what is in the crock. The bags do not compost as quickly as some materials, however I find they do decompose. Similarly, some matter takes longer to compost than others.
I would much rather find a local source for these bags. The carbon footprint for these bags manufactured in Norway ... well, I don't really want to think about it. And, I would like a smaller size to fit small kitchen counter crocks.
Comments about Biobags™:
What a time saver, not having to clean out the scrap saver is such a great idea and compostable to boot. Will have to keep reordering this great product.
Comments about Biobags™:
Just tie a knot and off it goes to the garbage can. Have to be careful when taking off the roll, doesn't always come off the perforations evenly.

Comments about Biobags™:
I take the bags with me to the grocery store and use them instead of the plastic bags provided for purchasing produce. Then as needed they become the liner for my compost pail. I LOVE not having those plastic produce bags to throw out. This has really cut down the plastic bag consumption in my house. The bags also do what they should as pail liners.

Comments about Biobags™:
bought the 100 bag package and have noticed that they are degrading over time in my cabinet. But I have had them probably over a year. Otherwise, they work good. You do have to empty the pail very regularly as they will leak. Mine compost quickly in warmer weather.
Comments about Biobags™:
Makes a messy chore, clean, easy and environmentally friendly.
Comments about Biobags™:
The biobag, while being a really good idea, takes a long time to degrade. We have a large compost heap on our property, and the raccoons are having a field day leaving the bags around the area. Additionally, the perforation sometimes includes a split bottom, so the bag does not hold material when being carried outside. I have knotted the bottom of the bag to solve this, thereby losing capacity. In spite of these shortcomings, I intend to order more. Hopefully the product will improve. I would recommend the product even with the problems noted.
Comments about Biobags™:
Easy to uise, and keeps the compost pail clean, and odor free. I love'em
Comments about Biobags™:
was recommended to use with the composter that i purchased from you, but doesn't work well at all, in that it prevents the mechanical screw from turning.
Comments about Biobags™:
Great product for recycling, without mess, kitchen scraps directly to the compost.
Comments about Biobags™:
I use these in the kitchen scrap pail from our waste disposal company. These fit the oval shape just fine & make it easy to take the scraps out to the the green waste can or our compost bin. I find that in my compost bin they breakdown pretty quickly, I turn mine often & it gets quite hot. Since starting to use them my family no longer complains about their turn for the chore of emptying the pail. Sometimes the bags tear when coming off the roll if you aren't careful. Overall they're great.
Comments about Biobags™:
we had an eco-friendly holiday....kitchen composter (with bio bags), garden composter and a rain barrel. We just need to get our composting started so we can add our kitchen compost to it....
BioBags certainly make it easier.
Comments about Biobags™:
I use Biobags to hold kitchen wastes and to transfer them to a composter.

Comments about Biobags™:
Our waste service now provides us with a bio waste kitchen container. Cleaning it each time it was emptied was not an enjoyable task. While spending the summer in Europe, our friends introduced us to the cornstarch bio bags they use for kitchen waste liners. I found them at Gardeners and have used them ever since. I like that you can buy a bunch at once. We go through 2 a week and although I can fine 10 packs at some local grocery stories....I run out of them too fast.

Comments about Biobags™:
Don't count on full number of bags - They must repackage because the first bags on the roll have box cutter tears rendering the first 5-10 bags unusable.

Comments about Biobags™:
No messy compost pail. Works great - even gave biobags and compost pail to my daughter. Only con - don't leave scraps in it too long or the bag will begin to deteriorate.

Comments about Biobags™:
this product works great in our own canister cantainer for the kitchen scraps vegetables, fruits, and coffee grounds. The only problem I hae ever had is they sometimes tear when seperating from the roll. easy clean up I just put my canistaer in the dishwasher and am ready to use no mess. I do have more odor when use the canister lid but if I keep it emptied often no problem.

Comments about Biobags™:
The ease of use couldn't be better and the messy part of collecting compost material is eliminated.
Comments about Biobags™:
An easy, compostable way to keep that scrap pail clean.
Comments about Biobags™:
Convenient and doesn't add non biodegradeable to the compost. A good contribution to the enviroment.

Comments about Biobags™:
It seems to take a bit of time to decompose. However, if it decomposed quickly it would be deteriorating while still in the kitchen compost container and that would be a problem, so I quess I just need to be patient.
Comments about Biobags™:
These bags are sturdy and fit nicely in my compost container. And love that it is compostible too.

Comments about Biobags™:
Be careful. These just arrived at my house an hour ago. I placed them on an open shelf where I keep other packaging - foil, waxed paper, saran, food bags. My dogs, who aren't really chewers by nature and who don't pay attention to anything else on the shelves, went nuts and tore them apart. There must be something about the bags that smells good to them. I caught the dogs before they might have swallowed the pieces but I've lost probably half of the bags to chewing.
Comments about Biobags™:
I'm an enthusiastic composter, but I really hate to scrub the compost pail. I love these bags!
Comments about Biobags™:
Biobag takes longer to degrade in composter than I expected.
Comments about Biobags™:
They make composting kitchen waste so much tidier.

Comments about Biobags™:
I have a small garbage can under my sink I use for kitchen scraps that I then toss on the compost pile. These bags are perfect for avoiding a dirty garbage can. They feel just like plastic and are very durable. They don't keep all of the moisture from the scraps enclosed however (not surprising because they have to be degradable). I noticed that after taking out the bag my can had some water in the bottom. But I'd rather wipe out the can than have to clean it! I haven't had them long enough to tell how fast they decompose (plus it's about 15 degrees out right now). But my mom has the same ones and said they just disappear after a while.
Comments about Biobags™:
It helps the environment and also helps amend the soil in my garden and flower beds
Comments about Biobags™:
Clean up of the compost pail was a mess until I got these bags. Now we just lift out the bag and take to the outdoor composter
[1 of 2 customers found this review helpful]
Comments about Biobags™:
Within a week of adding wet items to the "can&bag" there was moisture outside the bag but inside the can. I thought the bags were "composting too quickly", but other comments suggest they just leak.
What a mess...
Dont waste your money on the bags.
Comments about Biobags™:
These are great for moving compost from the house to the compost bin without making a mess.
Comments about Biobags™:
These bags make it very easy, to compost kitchen scraps. Never thought I'd describe my compost pail as "clean." They fit perfectly with the stainless steel compost pail.
Comments about Biobags™:
Biodegradable compost bags...what's not to like. If you want an easier way to empty your compost container and keep it cleaner, buy these.
Comments about Biobags™:
These bags biodegrade quickly. They are very helpful in keeping the in-house compost pail clean during the winter months. In the summer, we wash out the container with a hose outside. Since the outside water is turned off in the winter, we would need to wash out the pail in the kitchen. Now that we have these bio bags, we don't need to wash out garbage remains into the sink anymore. Great find!
Comments about Biobags™:
Great for kitchen scraps
Comments about Biobags™:
I use Biobags in the stainless steel kitchen container I bought from you - which we love. I prefer buying larger quantities of Biobags and you sell them in 100 lot quantities. Thanks!
Comments about Biobags™:
USe in compost pail that sit on counter. Cuts down on mess and odor.
Comments about Biobags™:
You do not have to constantly wash the compost pail. Just lift and replace.
Comments about Biobags™:
I love the biobags. My husband and I juice every morning and using the biobags along with our brushed steel compost pail eliminates odors and allows for easy cleanup daily. It is also easy to dispose of the bag when it is full. We just toss it into our compost pile. Great product.

Comments about Biobags™:
The bags do make emptying the kitchen scrap bucket easy, but they do NOT break down in the compost bin. Even after more than 1 year, the bags are still whole. We have beautiful compost and have to pick the bags out....not good at all. We won't use these again.
Comments about Biobags™:
The nice thing is that they are neat when in the compost bucket in the kitchen. Easy to use. Makes for no cleanup. They are GREAT! I have been using these a few years now and they are a favorite. I won't be without these in my kitchen.
Comments about Biobags™:
The bags make composting easier since they are biodegradable. Just pull the bag out of my stainless steet pail (bought from Gardener's Supply) and take it out to the compost bin.
Comments about Biobags™:
These bags are really sturdy - just don't over fill your kitchen compost jar and leave it for awhile - it can get wet and stinky at the bottom which then makes the bags more likely to rip when you take them out.
Comments about Biobags™:
The Biobags, to us are a necessity. They fit in the crock with no problem, they easily come out and can be moved right to the compost pile. Once I get them to the pile I do cover them with other material from the pile. One suggestion I would make is to be sure you do not put coffee grounds that are still too wet. A couple bags have leaked, this has NOT been a big problem.

Comments about Biobags™:
Great for general kitchen composting. Bags are too large for most kitchen composters sothey hang over the side, not attractive on kitchen counter. Tried to cut, but loses shape. Better for bags to be USA made,[...]
Comments about Biobags™:
I've been composting for more than 25 years and once I used these bags, I would never go without them. Greatly reduces the "yuck" factor. Now there is no excuse not to compost your kitchen scraps.
Comments about Biobags™:
These bags make collecting & composting kitchen scraps a snap! Good size to fit compost container and decomposes quickly in the composter.
Comments about Biobags™:
I love the biobags. I fill them with my food scraps, pull them out of my container and throw them into our food waste bins. My container is clean and ready for a new bag. I have not had one tear on me and I have gone through several set of the bags.
Comments about Biobags™:
I like to use these bags so that I don't have mess or mold to clean up.
Comments about Biobags™:
I use for kitchen scraps but bag leaks. Also bags don't break down they have been in compost pile for a year and are still whole.
Comments about Biobags™:
Perfectly fits our compost pail. No mess to clean up, breaks down quickly in the compost bin.
Comments about Biobags™:
Great way to make your own fertilizer without all the hazards of the commercial brands. Also, helps to cut down on the trash bags that will go to the landfill because of stinky kitchen garbage!
Comments about Biobags™:
I use these bags in a crock to collect coffee grounds and egg shells. Then I toss it in my compost bin. Can't get any easier than that!
Comments about Biobags™:
These make composting kitchen scraps so easy! I use these to line my Hammered Copper Compost Pail that I also got at Gardeners Supply. They even hold up in the microwave for a few minutes so my worms can dine with ease.
Comments about Biobags™:
I have been purchasing my bio-bags from Gardner's Supply for years and they work extremely well. I learned a lesson when I ran out - it can be messy trying to empty out a plastic bag that you have substituted as a liner. I order plenty and my composting efforts have paid off!
Comments about Biobags™:
I don't fill to top because if there is bulky waste at bottom it is hard to get it out through the throat of the jar. Product quality of bio-bags is superior.
Comments about Biobags™:
Latest shipment of these bags won't compost...still there after 3 months in southern heat! Batch received 2 years ago composted quickly but leaked when transporting to outside bin. Only thing this batch is good for is transporting....dump the scrapes and put bag in regular garbage.
Comments about Biobags™:
We discovered that you need to use more than one bag due to the nature of these bags. They are definately biodegradable! We still think they are great no matter how many we might need to use!
Comments about Biobags™:
Since my composter is not close to the kitchen, the bags allow me to fill the crock and carry it neatly outside. If you leave the lid off the collection bucket or crock, and only collect vegetable matter, coffee grounds, as recommended, there will not be an odor.
Comments about Biobags™:
Kitchen scraps out to composter.
Comments about Biobags™:
These bags do what I wanted them to do - make the job of emptying the compost easier for sure.
As other reviewers have noted, they do seem to leak moisture, or perhaps just condensation - I'm not totally sure which. The bottom of my compost pail (under the bag) is always wet, but not smelly, so I'm ok with it. A quick rinse is MUCH better than dealing with all the compost ickies.
I also have found them to be pretty slow to break down. Ok if you are just letting your compost pile sit on it's own for long periods. Perhaps not ideal if you turn your pile regularly in an attempt to create compost more quickly.
Over all - I recommend these bags, they have been a big help to me.
Comments about Biobags™:
I am just getting started with the bio bags so I can't comment on how fast they compost but they make the process so much easier. No more washing/scraping the bin.
Comments about Biobags™:
Put this bag in your bin or bucket and fill it up.
It keeps odor down but I found that sometimes liquid does seep through. i love to be able to just pick it up and dump it in my compost pile. No odor!!! Can't beat that.
Comments about Biobags™:
I collect my compost on the kitchen counter in a 1/2 gallon juice pitcher with a top. These bags are very neat-- I just pull them out, take them out to the compost pile with all the stuff inside, and bury them there. They decompose pretty quickly. It's a great advantage over plastic bags. One small complaint: sometimes the bottoms rip when I'm separating each bag from the roll that it's on. Perferation needs to be better.
Comments about Biobags™:
I am glad that they are biodegradeable but I wish that they would not leak.
Comments about Biobags™:
The only compliant I have about the product is the bag never discomposes in my compost bin. I usually end up pulling it out after a month or two and throwing it away.
Comments about Biobags™:
so easy to use and no messy clean up.
Comments about Biobags™:
The biobags are the best thing to come down the pike for kitchen compost waste!!!!
They fit perfect in the pail given us by our garbage company.
Thank you,Thank you,Thank you!!!
Comments about Biobags™:
keeps things clean
Comments about Biobags™:
We are using these so our students can bring in kitchen scraps from home to add to our school compost. They can just be added to the composters and we don't have to try to open them or dispose of the plastic bag. Once a child brings some material in, they just take a new bag. It's great getting so many for the price.
Comments about Biobags™:
This is a great and ecological product. Works and easy to use. I only wish there is a smaller size offered, to fit the small size of my container I purchased from Gardener's Supply Co. for this.
Comments about Biobags™:
I love the bio-bags. Does not immediately disintegrate so the bag can sit in my kitchen compost pail for a week taking in scraps every day. The bags are so convenient and spacious.

I think Biobags are an essential component to kitchen composting. The bags are both large and strong enough to hold a good amount of kitchen scraps. When kitchen scraps are moist, the bags tend to break down rather quickly, however, this is a plus for the composting process. These bags are an absolute necessity for my home and garden.
Comments about Biobags™:
We love this no-mess method of composting kitchen scraps!
Comments about Biobags™:
I use these bags with the Green Stoneware Compost Crock. I was worried that they would leak since they break down over time, especially since we add coffee grinds which tend to be wet. But, they hold up great and we have not had a problem with leaking, breaking or tearing bags. Also using the bags saves wear and tear on the ceramic crock, which always remains on the counter instead of being transported outside to add its contents to our compost pile.
Comments about Biobags™:
These liners are very handy and helpful to use with the counter top compost container. It makes cleaning the container so much easier when the compost can just be lifted out and deposited outside. However, I DO recommend you take the whole pail w/contents outside since it can still be messy or drippy, depending on what is in the container. Great product!
Comments about Biobags™:
I love the ease of the Biobags. I especially am grateful not to have to carry the whole, heavy compost container out to my compost pile. Thanks so very much!
Comments about Biobags™:
Much easier to transfer waste to the composter, I was always worried I would drop my ceramic kitchen scraps holder when emptying it but now it isn't a problem. And no more messy cleanups.
Comments about Biobags™:
Easy to use and keeps the kitchen cleaner
Comments about Biobags™:
I like these bags and will continue to use them because they will degrade in a landfill but my composter just jams with them In there.
Comments about Biobags™:
I really love these bags! Even though there were some problems near the end of the roll (seams were not fused - had to discard many), I didn't hesitate to reorder. We keep our copper compost bin on the kitchen counter; very handy for kitchen scraps. The bags make it easier to take to our composter.
Comments about Biobags™:
These bags are a must-have. I can fill it up, feel good about reducing waste, making compost and all I have to do is grab the full bag and dump it. So easy, and the pail stays clean and odor free.
Comments about Biobags™:
I use it to line my composting pail.It would be nice to have a way to fasten it to top of pail so that it doesn't slip down.
Comments about Biobags™:
We bought some for our own use and sent some to a serious gardening friend. They take the mess out of composting household waste.

Comments about Biobags™:
Keeps the smell confined to the one container instead of spreading it in the garbage bag where animals can get to it, when disposed of.
Comments about Biobags™:
I like the convenience of having a liner in my pail. However, the bags tend to leak, and seem to take a long time to break down in my compost container. Still, I prefer using them rather than scrubbing the compost pail.
Comments about Biobags™:
Sturdy enough for my in-house kitchen refuse. And disappears in the composter. Perfect.
Comments about Biobags™:
A "must have" for a Compost Crock. Extremely wet materials may require double bagging.
Comments about Biobags™:
Sturdy enough for in-house kitchen scraps. And disappears in composter. Perfect
Comments about Biobags™:
Just started composting this summer, so not sure how long it takes the bags to decompose. So far most are still in the composter. Some moisture seepage from the bag, but still makes it easier to dispose of kitchen scraps. Carefully rip at perforation for new bags, otherwise they can tear.
Comments about Biobags™:
I like this product the only thing I have noticed is nates like to corrugate with it in the house . and that is not really a problem I just have to empty it before it gets full. With just one person in the house it takes longer to fill it up
Comments about Biobags™:
Great idea, but I find these tear easily and leak into my crock. So, I still need to wash out my crock.
Comments about Biobags™:
I purchased the biobags along with a composting carafe for my kitchen. At first, I was thrilled that I could grab the bag from my composting carafe and pop it into my composter in the yard. However, the bags 'seep' moisture when sitting inside the carafe and then they take quite some time to biodegrade. Thus making turning my compost pile very difficult and messy! They get stuck on my turning rod and then I have to pick them off with my hands. At that point they are mushy and slimy. Don't waste your money ~
Comments about Biobags™:
I like these biobags because I don't have to clean my compost container each time and they hold A LOT of scraps. Just lift out and dump into the composter.
Comments about Biobags™:
Thes are convenient and easy to use and dispose of.
Comments about Biobags™:
nice idea
Comments about Biobags™:
I'm using it in the kitchen for plant waste.
Comments about Biobags™:
I like the fact that these bags are fully biodegradable - good for the environment and very handy to use.

Comments about Biobags™:
The Biobags make it easy to get the compost out to the pile. LOVE that they are biodegradable themselves. I just toss the whole bag in. SO EASY. Careful with wet stuff, like teabags and coffee grounds, may cause the bag to dissolve in the pail.
Comments about Biobags™:
much easier to use than the old plastic tub I was using
Comments about Biobags™:
this bag is bigger than the compost bucket but that leaves plenty of room to lift it out. By composting we are trying to reduce our "carbon footprint" but because you are selling bags than are made in Norway(!!) I would not purchase more of them.

Comments about Biobags™:
When I have chicken bones, plasticwrap and other stuff that I cannot compost I use these bags and feel good about sending them to the garbage pick up (for the land fill) because I know that at least the bag itself will disintegrate. Quality is superior to anything available locally
Comments about Biobags™:
works great
Comments about Biobags™:
I bought these for my adult children and will buy more for Xmas presents.

These handy little bags have made all the difference in keeping a clean composte pail on the counter. You do need to be careful when pulling apart from the roll, as they tend to tear thru the perforations. When that happens, I just tie a knot at the bottom of the bag and use.

Comments about Biobags™:
The bags work great in order to avoid carting off your countertop kitchen scrap container outside every time. We've found you'll still need to empty out the contents from the bag into the compost bin or else the full bag as a whole will take longer to compost. We've also found that if you leave the bag in the kitchen scrap container with kitchen scraps in it for too long (especially wet scraps) it will start to decompose already, therefore requiring you to take the whole container outside anyway (and clean it.)
Also, the first roll in the first set we bought had about a third of the bags with holes in them once the roll got to the end. But the roll afterwards was OK, and we're only on our third roll - so not sure if this is a typical problem or not.
Overall - well worth the price.
Comments about Biobags™:
I have had the pail for several years but hate the mess when dumping the kitchen waste into my compost pile outside. So when i saw these bags, I decided to try them. No Mess anymore. Not sure yet how they will degrade since I have only had them a few weeks.
Comments about Biobags™:
Keeps the under counter compost bin clean and easier to take to the outside compost pile
Comments about Biobags™:
With the biobag I line my compost jar and when full pull the whole bag and place it in my composter. No fuss, no mess on me trying to empty the jar or a plastic bag into my composter. I love this item and wish larger sizes were available.
Comments about Biobags™:
I love these bags. They make composting kitchen scraps a breeze. Just be aware that since the bags biodegrade, you'll need to empty the kitchen container every day or two, especially if composting wet items that will cause the bottom of the bag to disintegrate more quickly. A great product.
Comments about Biobags™:
This is a good product to use with the Compost Crock. It makes it easy to take it to the compost pile.
Comments about Biobags™:
Overall, these make keeping your kitchen scraps much easier. No messy containers to rinse out. Sometimes they leak a bit - which I think comes from putting in hot coffee grounds. They also don't break down quite as quickly as I'd like in my compost. There are usually a few pieces of them still around even after the compost is finished. But nothing too major. I just placed my third order, so obviously their shortcomings are minor compared to the convenience they offer. These are definitely worth buying :)
Comments about Biobags™:
It is so much easier to compost kitchen scraps with the bio bags. They are sturday and hold alot.
Comments about Biobags™:
These bags not only help keep the smell down in my compost pail, ever since I started using them I no longer have a bug problem. I love them!
Comments about Biobags™:
I've used these bags in my counter top compost pails for a few years now. They keep their strength for days, long enough to carry the bag of compost to the backyard compost pile without leaking or breaking, then disappear quickly.
Comments about Biobags™:
It's much cleaner and easier to transfer my kitchen scraps to our outdoor compost heap using these bags.
Comments about Biobags™:
For years we were using your plastic compost container with out the bio bags and we'd dread having to empty the can as it was smelly and slimy. These bags are great, we just toss the entire bag in the compost heap and once in a while give our can a good spray of fresh water, not like before where we had to scrub the slime. And the best part is that they are sturdy enough to hold alot of of veggie scraps, just watch out for pineapple rinds as they rip the bags.
Comments about Biobags™:
We have used Biobags for several years to save kitchen scraps for our compost pile. They are great.
Comments about Biobags™:
It's so easy to carry these out and just throw the entire thing into the compost pile. No trying to turn something upside down and dump stuff out, getting scraps all over everything.
Comments about Biobags™:
Keep food waste contained so it doesn't stick to the kitchen bin. But leaks fluid into container so it can be messy to dump into the compost heap and the bin always has to be washed out thoroughly after dumping.
However, the paper eco bags I used to use are unavailable so this is the next best thing.
Comments about Biobags™:
In the Kitchen. Excellent because it can just be thrown in the composter. None.
Comments about Biobags™:
These liners keep my composting pot clean and odor free.
Comments about Biobags™:
The bags leak
Comments about Biobags™:
The worst I can say is that you can't leave it in the compost pail too long since it decomposes -- no more than a week. It is very convenient and works just like the product description says.
Comments about Biobags™:
in addition to the bags and filters I also purchased the ceramic container in cobalt blue. It looks great on my kitchen counter and is big enough to hold a whole days compostable scraps. It is great to be able to put bag and all into the compost pile.
Comments about Biobags™:
These bags fit perfectly in our counter top compost pail. When full, we simply remove the bag with scraps inside and walk it back to our larger compost bin in the garden. The bags are strong enough to withstand quite a bit of abuse before they tear. This product has made composting SO much easier. Thank you!

Comments about Biobags™:
We just started recycling the Kitchen scraps and Find that the bags make the job easier so that the three men in the house don't find the task of taking the scraps out to the compost bin unpleasant. They along with the stainless steel container are attractive and odor free.
Comments about Biobags™:
They along with the compost pail make recycling so much easier. The men in the house have no problem taking the scraps out to the bin now. The attractiveness of the pail makes it a blessing to have it right on the counter by the sink, and the biggest plus is there is NO ODOR....
Comments about Biobags™:
It has made taking the compost out a job that everyone is willing to do.
Comments about Biobags™:
I keep one of these bags in a bowl on my counter top and use for it food scraps, coffee grounds....everything except meat. When it is full, I simply take the bag, which is leak proof, out of the bowl and throw it into the compost bin near the garden. It is so simple to just throw out the old bag and put in a new one instead of having a nasty, smelly bowl to clean up.
Comments about Biobags™:
These bags take the mess and bother out of composting. Just line the pail with one, remove it when full and empty it into the compost bin. They look fragile, but they don't break
Comments about Biobags™:
I used to use a plastic pail which I would clean with clorax bleach after each use. I don't like putting that much disinfectent into the sewer system as it also kills necessary bacteria to keep the system working. My husband was alway after me for using to much clorax, with my new compost crock and liners, I don't have to clean it every time with clorax. Everybody is happy!.
