    Comments about Winter Work Gloves:

Ordered 2 pair. One was defective; 2 of the fingers were stuck together. I couldn't return them so I wound up having to cut the fingers apart with scissors to use them, leaving a large, flat spot on each finger and a flaw between - less than ideal but still mostly functional. I found my pair to be somewhat large for size. Overall, the gloves are comfortable, warm, and they cushion and protect hands well when worn during shoveling or other damp or cold chores.

Although the gloves had nice grip and are reasonably light weight, they are not the least bit warm and are promoted as being good in cold weather. Your hands get extremely cold very quickly - will probably work better this summer for digging and hauling things.

I bought three pairs for folks on my Christmas list. My husband said they are great snow ball gloves, he placed them in his truck for emergency snow use. I have a pair but I have not had much chance to use them. I know I will get it done. The other pair I gave to my outdoorsman father who hunts ice fishes etc. he will be the one to put them to the true test. Not real attractive, more for down and dirty jobs no dress up option.

    Comments about Winter Work Gloves:

These are handy gloves with a great grip, but don't believe that they'll keep your hands warm while running a snow blower in seriously cold weather, because they won't -- I recommend you buy a size larger than you need and wear a liner glove under it. I bought them for me and for my husband and I usually end up wearing my husband's so I can fit some fleece liners inside them. I'm sure they'll also be good in a chilly spring without the liner, but for working in the snow you'll need more.

These are great. Use out in the New England winter for shoveling and cleaning car etc. Gloves are flexible so you can do work, especially in the fall when weather is cold and have to do outdoor tasks, like tying ropes, using tools, etc., they are not bulky at all, which is great, but keep you warm.

    Comments about Winter Work Gloves:

Mixed review because my husband likes them for shoveling snow, he finds them warm; but I find them inadequate for the same task, my hands got extremely cold while shoveling, had to go in and put different gloves on after only 15 minutes. They seem like basic garden gloves with decent grip, and will do fine in the spring and fall. At least the bright orange will help me find them when I drop them in the leaves, as I often do to my gloves. GS needs to provide better guidance on sizing, though, it wouldn't be hard to write up a chart for how men's and women's glove sizes compare to SM&L since these are unisex.

    Comments about Winter Work Gloves:

I bought these for myself and several family members, as we're all active outdoors in Winter. I use them primarily in the woods while working on clearing a new hiking trail; their grip while pulling saplings or moving downed limbs is outstanding. When Spring comes, I am certain that these will be my go-to gardening gloves as well. These might not be the best gloves if you are simply looking for very warm gloves while doing winter walking, but if you're working outdoors and need some grip, these are A#1.

    Comments about Winter Work Gloves:

I have very small hands and the womens gloves fit quite well. Got to use them a few weeks after I purchased them snowblowing out over 2 feet of snow. Kept my hands quite toasty for hours. They also have a good grip on them so you don't have to hold onto the snowblower quite so tightly. These gloves get warmer the longer you have them on. Bought a pair for my husband who uses them when he stacks wood in the winter.

    Comments about Winter Work Gloves:

I bought these for my husband but fully intend to use them myself when I'm out doing winter chores. We started with the one pair to just check them out quality-wise and also for sizing, but we'll be ordering more so that the whole family can gear up at the same time. Our trial pair was a large. My husband is a tick over 5'9'' and is NOT built burly, and large is just about right for him. I'm 5'6'' and large is just a bit bit for me, but I'm betting it's my best option, too. The gloves are thick enough that you're getting protection but flexibity is maintained. The ribbing at the cuff seems like it will maintain it's shape over time, and it does a good job of sealing cozily around your wrist without being too restrictive.

    Comments about Winter Work Gloves:

I really like these. Maybe I have extra small fingers because the small is still a touch too big, making it feel a bit bulky. But they are awesome gloves, especially when shoveling snow! My husband wears the medium and absolutely loves them. They fit well for him, not at all bulky and even wears them when working on cars, outdoor projects, and stacking wood in the very cold weather.

I do loads of work outdoors, much of it in cold weather. I live in Maine. I also paddle my kayak in the winter.. I have been in search of warm work gloves for years - not only warm but flexible enough to handle small tools, paddles, etc. Not big bulky gloves.

These are fabulous. I've worn them every day since I received them - they are warm, strong, thick enough to dig in the dirt and still have clean fingernails. Am going to order more as gifts for my gardening friends.
