Pattern has dull markings on the yellow field. G.S. noted this and sent recall/refund letter without prompting. Very good customer service! I will opt to keep the boots as they fit well and I need a nice boot to wear in the rain AND they play to my inner farm girl. Would recommend as long as pattern fixed.

There so adorable!! I was worried as I waited FOREVER to get these (12/12-2/17) because some people kept saying there tight in the calves...They fit wonderfully and I have some beefy legs! They measure 15.5 circumference. Thought I would add that so you guys can figure out if they will fit you! JUST LOVE THEM!! It was worth being patient, I need to learn that anyway;0)

We have had so much snow I put my new boots in my car with thick wool socks for an emergency situation. Since some dress boots do not work well on ice,deep snow, or slush these boots are great! They are water proof.

I'm a new chicken "mama" who just flipped when I saw these chicken boots! Love at first sight! But when they arrived, I couldn't get them on b/c the calf is way too tight. I should have returned them but I loved them so much, I cut the inside calves about 3-4" so I could wear them. Over time I'm sure they'll rip further so I won't get the max wear out of them. I'm wondering if this is a problem inherent in Wellies. ???

My son and daughter-in-law are a little off-beat in their life-style. They raise show dogs and have many other animals as well, among them chickens and ducks. the reviewers who discussed the issue with the calf being somewhat narrow were correct - these are not easy to get on and a zipper or elastic would help.I can use them with pants with full legs by pulling the leg up around my knees, but with tapered or narrow pants, I cannot get the boots on at all - and my calves are not large.I think the circumference of the top would be helpful in your description of the item.That said, however, once on, they have been very comfortable for long walks with the dog in the rain.

I've only used them for the past 8 days and to develop a hole in BOTH so quickly makes me quite upset. I'm walking through a corral not a glass factory! They were also too tight at the top as another reviewer stated and required to be nipped to not gouge into my legs.

These boots are truly eye catchers that provoke the "AHHHHH...where did you get those" remarks. However, the upper edge in the calf area is way too small for the average leg. I had to cut a slit in the edge behind the buckle to be able to wear these. They are a gift from my best girl friend and there is NO way I would return or reject them. I love them but found the tight fit most unpleasant in such a high quality boot. Hopefully your vendor can make some size changes.

I use these boots to work in the yard/garden. I have chickens and loved the design. I love the boots, and they work well for what I need them for. My only complaint is that the top needs to be wider. Have the buckle, but need the insert so that you could adjust the size. Harder to put on with the thicker pants I wear now that the weather is getting colder.

We live on a property that gets really swampy in spots after days of rain. I was looking for footwear that would keep my feet/legs dry in the muddiest conditions (so I wouldn't have to borrow my husband's boots!) I saw these online and thought they were adorable - I have chickens and love this print! I have to rate them 4 stars simply because of the fit. They are nice and snug, but as another reviewer stated, it is difficult to tuck pant legs in properly. But I do agree with the reviewer that said it's nice to not have one's legs getting beat about because of floppy, oversized calves. These boots are sturdy and are fun to wear to the chicken coop and around the yard - they make rainy days just a bit brighter!

I am absolutely delighted with these boots. First of all, the fit is perfect--roomy enough for a thicker bootsock, but also wearable with a light summer sock. I live on a working farm (chickens, dairy goats, horses and gardening) and these boots are so cheerful for me as I muck out stalls and attend to all of the other chores. I particularly like the feature of the boot having an adjustment for tightening around the top of the calf. Very useful when moving bales of hay--nearly eliminates any hay chaff from entering the boot. I wish I could comment on durability, but the chicken boots are still a fairly recent purchase as my previous muck boots cracked and began leaking. The boots do, however, appear to be very well made. I highly recommend these fun but functional boots.

I bought these in the sunflower pattern last year,and really like them. We have a lot of ivy that I need to "wade" through in order to wash windows and now no more spider bites. (If we had snakes they'd work too....) Hubby's spraying isn't often enough to suit me,

These wellies fit well and look great! The chickens are a plus. I like the way the boot is constructed near the top - narrow enough to keep water out most times, but wide enough to allow free movement. The boots are very comfy. I have hosed out the insides and insoles routinely after muddy jobs. They dry fine with upside-down hanging plus a day in the sun. So far, so good!

The very thing that was off-putting to the other reviewer was a real selling point for me: reasonably narrow calves. Most rubber boots are so big in the calves that my legs rattle around and rub uncomfortably even with pants tucked in. These are high quality boots and cute, too.

I was so looking forward to trying these out in the garden, so I was very disappointed with how these wellies fit. The tops of them are so tight on my calves that I can't wear them. I wouldn't recommend these chicken wellies to anyone unless they have chicken legs.
