Comments about Muck Shoe:
It is the best gardening shoe that I have ever worn. I have been wearing the same pair for 5 years every day in the summer and in the winter for outside chores. The comfort of the shoes is "over the top". I have recommended the shoes to my Master Gardener friends and several have ordered them already.
Comments about Muck Shoe:
Great to quickly slip on and walk the dog. Also good for quick gardening or other outdoor uses like filling the bird feeders.
Comments about Muck Shoe:
This is the second pair I have owned. The first lasted about 5 years with heavy use.
Comments about Muck Shoe:
This is my second pair of these hardworking shoes. Living in Florida, breathability is important, as is comfort. These shoes work hard, last long and keep my feet comfortable while I work. When my old ones broke down after many years of daily use, there was no question I would get another pair. I spend quite a few hours each day in them.
Comments about Muck Shoe:
Had to return this product as it was to big and too wide. I had ordered my regular shoe size and was amazed how big it was. But I really didn't like the weight of it on my feet and think that I would find it tiring after wearing it a while.
Comments about Muck Shoe:
My husbands first pair finally wore out and he needed another pair for fishing and outdoor gardening. He wanted only Mucks.

Comments about Muck Shoe:
I use these are backyard/gardening shoes. I was pleasantly surprised at how warm these mucks are! They have been great through our recent wet weather which turned our lawn to soup. I ordered a conservative size based upon earlier reviews, which means they are about a half size too big. As a result, my everyday socks get rubbed off my heels by the back of the shoe. I'll need to find tighter socks that won't budge. Overall, a great product!
Comments about Muck Shoe:
These are great to slip on to go outside for a quick errand as well as to do serious gardening. The elastic material around the ankle holds them on but is not tight nor uncomfortable. In colder weather they are warm inside. I got one pair and it was so-o-o comfortable I got another as a spare.

Comments about Muck Shoe:
I bought a pair of these muck shoes 5years ago. I wear them cleaning stalls and in the garden. The shoes are still waterproof but the soles had worn smooth after years of use and had no traction in the mud or snow. I reluctently had to replace them in what would have been their sixth season.
Fantastic product!

Comments about Muck Shoe:
I wear these shoes at least 4 days a week, all day, from April through October. A pair worn all day every day, and worn primarily on garden soil (and on pavement when running errands in between gardens), lasts me a good year. If you don't wear yours that hard, I imagine they will last much longer.
Once they wear out, the soles can get smooth and it's time for a new pair -- at that point, they can be quite slippery when wet. Eventually, usually after slickness starts to appear, holes can be worn in the bottom, admitting water.
Unlike shoes with a sewn-on upper, I have not gotten upper/lower side splits because there is no upper/lower seam to split. This characteristic translates into a drier and more durable shoe.
It is much more breathable than an all-plastic shoe would be. It is a good combination of breathable yet dry.
The firmly flexible top conforms to one's foot because it appears to be made of neoprene (wet suit material). There are no blisters for me from day one of wearing, forward. the sole, however,is not highly flexible -- instead, it is ridged for grip and rigid.
I have gone through heavy wearing on three pairs of these shoes. I save the old mucks and wear them in a pinch. Slick soles have consistently been how they wear out; some have eventually worn holes in the bottom.
I think this is a very well made product and it is the standard against which I look at any other gardening footwear. It seems to run true to size (I am a B width with AA heel). I wear Mucks in my shoe size with thick socks. The socks get a little perspiration on them but I find them quite comfortable.
This is not a boot to wear if you need the kind of foot protection that comes from a rigid toe, for example.
One less star only because I wish the soles lasted hard wearers like me even longer!

love the lilac
Comments about Muck Shoe:
I wear these shoes every day. A thicker sole would be better when walking on gravel. Must be worn with medium weight socks.

Comments about Muck Shoe:
I work at a greenhouse/nursery. Muck shoes are great for my line of work. Also great for gardening, walking the dog, bringing in wood, and watering. They are good in the winter and the summer. The one problem I have with them is that the heels wear out quickly.
Comments about Muck Shoe:
An absolutely great pair of garden shoes!...much more comfortable than store bought or substituting with Krocs.
Comments about Muck Shoe:
I use the muck shoes for yard work. They are great for wet and muddy weather because they just rinse off with the hose.

Comments about Muck Shoe:
My old rubber shoes got a hole in them and I had difficulty finding a replacement. These muck shoes are a good replacement. I wear them while gardening and around our pond. The soles don't have the gripping power of my old rubber shoes but they are the next best thing.
Comments about Muck Shoe:
feet stay clean & dry when working in wet garden which has been nearly all this summer with usually frequent & large rains
Comments about Muck Shoe:
My husband loves these shoes! He is very much an outdoor person and handy man around the house. From Spring to Fall we always have projects around the house. No matter what the project is my husband always goes for his muck shoes. They are comfortable to him and keep his feet dry. With all the use he gives them it usually take a year for him to wear through the bottoms. This year I have stocked up on the shoes since I could not find them in December, I have already started my Christmas Shopping this way!
Comments about Muck Shoe:
Great for the Pacific Northwest where our grass is wet more often than not! No more ruining sneakers or cold wet feet!
Comments about Muck Shoe:
My favorite new garden toy. They run a little wide, which I needed. Just slip them on and then
off before you go in the house. Easy off and on.
If very muddy hose them off easily.

Comments about Muck Shoe:
I like the fact I can slip in and out of it without having to tie and untie it. I like the stability of it....does not slip on wet surfaces....good for walking on grass and cultivated garden areas. I am a senior and appreciate the muck shoe for working on my perennial garden securely.
Comments about Muck Shoe:
These shoes keep my feet clean, dry and are by far the most comfortable gardening shoes I have ever worn! I would recommend them to all my gardening friends!
Thanks!
Comments about Muck Shoe:
I have had a pair of Muck Shoes for years and would not garden without them. I bought a pair this year for my husband who is now also a true believer. They are so practical and comfortable and eliminate the problem of muddy tennis shoes. Muck boots can be washed off easily and ready for the next use.

Comments about Muck Shoe:
I felt like Goldilocks in these shoes. The size 9 muck shoes were so large that I needed to wear work socks to make them fit well, but the size 8.5 shoes were too small to wear barefoot. I wish there had been a size 8.75, because that would have been just right. But the size 9s with work socks are very comfortable; they kept my feet dry and out of the mud while I was tilling and mulching; and they clean up very easily.

Comments about Muck Shoe:
A little hard to slip on, due to the elastic collar, but once on, that collar keeps the shoes on even when out in the wet.
Comments about Muck Shoe:
Sturdy product...overall good fit. The pull tab in back is useless. Enlarge to make putting on the shoe easier.
Comments about Muck Shoe:
way more comfortable than I expected. Would have liked a higher heel, but overall very satisfied.
Comments about Muck Shoe:
These were a gift - and he loves them.
Comments about Muck Shoe:
I've had my first pair of Muck Boots for over 10 years and they are used almost everyday during the growing season. They have held up extremely well and I am only just now getting some wear issues which will cause me to buy my 2nd pair. They are great to have, especially in wet or muddy weather and the fact that you can slip them on and off quickly and easily is great so you don't track mud or dirt into the house. I would highly recommend these to everyone.
Comments about Muck Shoe:
I love these shoes! I wear them all the time and it make my life a little easier to be able to rinse them with the hose.

Comments about Muck Shoe:
I had a pair of green Muck bootes for several years and wore them year round in the yard. They are so comfortable. I loved them. So, when I saw these purple ones, I thought I'd get a new pair. The size is the same but these are bigger. The heel is too loose and I flop around in them. The old pair fit perfectly, same size 6.
Comments about Muck Shoe:
My husband and I have a 'hobby farm' and we find these Muck boots and shoes very useful. They're durable and easy to get on/off, kind of like outdoor slippers! We keep them by the door for when we have to run out to check on the animals. They're especially perfect for damp mornings. I just wish they had the boots for women - we'd have 4 pairs!

Comments about Muck Shoe:
Comfortable--though would have liked more cushioning, little to wide and long, nice for work in the garden though have not tried them yet in cold weather. Might buy another pair -size smaller- for now and wear these in the winter with wool socks. Have not decided yet.
Comments about Muck Shoe:
Easily slips on and off so you don't track mud into the house.
Comments about Muck Shoe:
We use these as garden shoes. They are great.
Comments about Muck Shoe:
My husband loves his Muck Shoes!!! He wears them all the time with all the work he does outside at home. Easy for him to slip on and off when he takes the dog out also, in any kind of weather.
Comments about Muck Shoe:
Great after a week of rain I weeded this am with nice dry feet, and comfortable enough to walk in for hours.
Comments about Muck Shoe:
Great color! Love lilac!

Comments about Muck Shoe:
This is my 2nd pair. They are wearing very well, are very comfortable, supportive, keepmy feet dry. I wear them in winter and summer -- all year round. I love them! Best garden boots ever.
Comments about Muck Shoe:
use it the yard
Comments about Muck Shoe:
Used for gardening in season,
Snow blowing in winter.
Comments about Muck Shoe:
I don't know if I like them or not, in fact I almost returned them. They were expensive and the fit is odd - wide in the toe and forward part of my foot, slips on the heal and there is no way to pull them tight - they rub my heal. So first time I wore them with socks, next time I'll try with out and see if I like them better.
Comments about Muck Shoe:
At least once a week, my husband reminds me of how much he loves his muck shoes. He states he can go out in the wet grass and come back in with dry feet. He couldn't be happier with this product.
Comments about Muck Shoe:
I spend the day in a cold damp nursery and these are light and warm enough to work in the entire day.
Comments about Muck Shoe:
This is my 2nd or 3rd pair. Wear them just about every day.
