I love being able to just set the sprinkler for an hour or so whenever I need to. I don't do well with the pre-programmed watering systems. This gives me much more flexibility.

I needed a simple timer to trun on and off the various watering areas that had to be covered. The more expensive pre-set timer type units were more of a problem becasue often I did not need or want to waste the water. I had purchased one over ten years ago from Gardnener's but it had started to leak around the sides. This new model was actually less expensive & smaller. I purchased two and will get a few more.

This is my fouth timer. There is one on each of my outdoor faucets, so I am set to water when needed.

If I had any sense I would have returned it! I tried it 3 or 4 times, setting it for the maximum of 120 minutes and each time it didn't shut off!!!!

I can't recommend this one.

This does well for beds where I use a soaker hose and where its easy to forget to turn the water faucet off an hour later.

We use it to control the drip hoses we place around specific areas of our garden.

With this timer I can set it and go wherever I need to and not worry about getting back to change the water or having water running all over the place. Also, helps with conservation. After you check the length of time you need for the amount you lawn needs, you have no more over or
under watering.
