Membership in Kids Club events is FREE of charge unless otherwise noted. Join now and we'll enroll your little sprout in the program.

Bring your favorite teddy bear and have a tea party in our conservatory!
Can you say carnivorous? Learn all about carnivorous plants such as the Venus fly trap and pitcher plant. We will take a green house tour and transplant a Venus fly trap to take home.

Seedstarting for Kids
Plant a seed and watch it grow! Kids will learn the basics of seed starting and help plan the Gardener’s Supply kitchen garden. You will take home a seeded pot for you to care for, nurture and watch grow . Max

Bees and Butterflies
Heavenly Honey Apiary is coming to Gardeners Supply! Scott Wilson is a certified bee keeper and will be bringing a live honeybee observatory to the Garden Center. You will learn all about the life cycle of the honeybee and learn about what plants attract butterflies and bees, and why plants can’t grow without pollination. You will also have the opportunity to help plant a bee/ butterfly garden.

It's a worm's world!
Come learn all about vermicomposting! Whoa that’s a big word! You will learn about composting, worms and decomposition. Learn about nature and helping the environment. We will show you how to make your own worm bin to take home. Max Attendance : 30 kids

Do you believe in fairies?
Come to the Garden Center and help create at fairy garden. We'll have a story walk around the pond in search of fairy's. Create your own fairy house to take home. Max Attendance: 30 kids

The Vermont Audubon Center will come to the garden center to present Beautiful Birds. Fall is the perfect time to learn about birds. Many birds that spent the summer in Vermont are preparing for a long migration south, while others are getting ready for a cold and snowy winter. Through games, activities and observation, we will learn about bird adaptations, migration, and identification. We will also introduce you to a world of bird watching with binoculars and field guides.

Pumpkins & pirates!
Rockin' Ron the Friendly Pirate is returning to the Garden Center. He is sure to put a smile on everyone's face. Search for pirate's buried treasure among the jack-o-lanterns in our nursery, paint a pumpkin to take home.
