Hate dragging around heavy hoses? Give yourself a break with this ingenious, super-light polyurethane hose. It weighs less than half as much as a conventional hose, yet is built to last with industrial spring guards at each end to eliminate annoying kinks, and extra-long, crush-proof, chrome-plated solid brass fittings to ensure leak-proof connections. Super-flexible in all types of weather. The slim, 1/2" diameter matches your home's faucet for the most efficient watering. Meets NSF drinking-water standards, too.

Comments about Super Slim Lightweight Hoses:
Finally. I must have purchased every hose they sell and I'm only sorry I only purchased one during the sale to see how it was. I just went to order another but the price is back up and I'm not going to pay the full price. I might look elsewhere to see if I can find the same hose. I read some reviews that said it did not put out enough water - not true. This hose puts out tons and since it's a little smaller you get some powerful output. I only got the red 25 foot one and I'm happy with this length since it's like dealing with a long piece of string. No weight and easy to just put away. I totally highly recommend. I use it for all my outdoor plantings and I did a huge section of yard with fresh top soil and grass seed and it waters it just as well as a larger hose. Just the best hose. If it were still on sale, I'd get more but the current price is really just too high.

Comments about Super Slim Lightweight Hoses:
I don't think I've ever wanted to like a product as much as I wanted to like this hose. I loved that it was safe for drinking (and my dogs drink from the hose a lot). I really wanted a light hose because I'm so sick of dragging the big one around and really sick of leaky hoses. I loved that it was made in the U.S. by a company that seems great. But in the end, it just doesn't work for anything beyond trickle watering things. I have a water wand I love that puts out a light shower and this hose didn't even come close to getting the shower function to work. I'm so disappointed, but I have to send it back. I wish they would bigger, slightly heavier hoses out of the same material. I'd buy one in a second.

The volume of water this provides is useless! And it kinks very easily. Wish I had not wasted money on this. Liked the color, so bought 3 of the regular size hose in purple. The lightweight hose would be great for a very old person with a small garden and plenty of free time....

Comments about Super Slim Lightweight Hoses:
While this is an expensive hose, and it kinks a lot, it is also the lightest hose to carry, easy to un-kink and I'd rather use it to water my flowers and pots than a regular hose. Especially when I'm dragging it around 2 acres! However, this hose is small in diameter compared to regular hoses therefore it will not work on most lawn sprinklers. It doesn't have the force or volume needed to run most sprinklers. But you can't beat the light weight and ease of use. I bought 100 feet. I could use another 100 feet but it's too expensive. So I won't buy another.

Comments about Super Slim Lightweight Hoses:
I recently purchased one of these lightweight hoses, and after using it a couple of times, I ordered 2 more. I love how easy it is to move around, it does less damage to nearby plants because it is not heavy, and the material it's made of feels so nice to handle. It feels very flexible when it is warm (in the sun). I use it in the veggie garden to hand water my tomatoes and such. It winds easily onto my hose hanger afterwards. It is easier for patio watering of my pots and planters than my coil hose which always gets caught on my patio furniture. I imagine it might not deliver the same amount of water per minute as a standard size hose, so I don't use it in conjunction with my sprinkler with which I need to cover a large area. I got the blue for my sunny garden, because blue fades the least in sunlight. I'm getting a red one for the north side of the house so it will always be shaded, as red is the most suseptible color to fading. I am so ready to chuck my big heavy dirty hoses!

Comments about Super Slim Lightweight Hoses:
This hose is very easy to move around. It's flexible and doesn't kink at all. The 100' hose (non-coiled) fits easily on the cheap plastic "hosemobile" reels. Fittings are high quality, but the black coiled protectors near the fittings are plastic, not metal. Overall, the hose is sturdy and looks and feels like it should last a long time. There's no brand name on the hose. Outside diameter is 1/2" and inside diameter is 3/8", so the water flow is lower than the more common 5/8" hoses. It's worked great for hand watering and car washing, but it probably won't work well with a sprinkler, as others have indicated. Pricey, but I keep telling myself the bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

Comments about Super Slim Lightweight Hoses:
I have a very large yard and need a lot of hose to reach all my new landscaping on the west side of my home. I get exhausted hauling around my heavy rubber contractor grade hose on the east side, so I decided to give this type a try. It is super lightweight, so that is great...but 200 feet of it really does restrict water flow. (Probably better for the plants to get a more gentle drink, but not so good for getting the watering done quickly.) I haven't tried it yet, but I doubt a sprinkler would function effectively with the flow reduced this much. Also, it is really hard to coil differently than it was coiled originally at the factory. I have mine on a crank wind hose reel that coils it tighter than when it arrived, and I had great difficulty getting it wound up the first time. But now that it has been stored on there a couple of weeks, it seems to wind up more easily and kink less. Overall I like the product and will keep it for the west side plantings...but I wish it didn't restrict the water flow so much. Unfortunately it can't replace my heavy rubber hose on the east side because I would need an even longer length to reach my shed and fire pit...and another 100 feet would likely reduce the flow so much as to render it useless.

Love this hose ... so much so that I am buying another 100 ft. The bright colors add interest to the garden and the light weight really makes a big difference in maneuvering through the garden without crushing plants. I use various sprayer attachments with it and never have had low water pressure issues. It coils back up easily and rarely kinks.I give it a "10"!
