The garden bench is on our front porch. We have used it lightly so far because it's still too cold to sit outside. However, it was relatively easy to assemble; it took 2 people a little less than an hour. And it looks wonderful. This bench on sale was a great deal.

The design of this bench is beautiful, and the quality of the wood is superior. Workmanship is quite good- not superior. It was fairly easy to assemble. I am applying 3 coats of weatherproofing material as I will be leaving it outside all year here in FL, and I don't want the color to change. I had to sand a few areas as they were rough and/or chipped, but it was not a real big deal, considering the fair price and great design of this bench. Overall I am very pleased!

I was expecting a hard to assemble bench- but was so excited when I found it to go together so easily. Such gorgeous wood that is so smooth to the touch. I love the richness of the color and can't wait to see how beautifully it will age.

After a good deal of searching, I purchased this at what I consider to be a very attractive price. It arrived in perfect condition with all tools (an allen wrench!) necessary for assembly. It took about 5-10 minutes to put it together. It is stunning and very comfortable. Other Lutyens benches I have seen are two to three times the price.

The Bench seat is warped when you sit on the bench seat it bounces. I had to screw it in place. The bench seat back had a chip in the wood. The bench should include instructions on how to finish the wood.
