Steam Era Thermometer

This thermometer is reminiscent of "sight gauges" found in the boiler rooms of paddle wheelers and steam liners. It comes with large Farenheit scale markings (115 to -30 degrees F) to make it easier to read the temperature. The housing is made of weather-proof solid brass with a copper finish so it can be mounted indoors or out.

Mounting Instructions
1. The brass screws provided are for mounting the thermometer to a wood surface such as a wall, post or railing. Space the mounts 6 to 7 inches apart. Use the screws to attach the mounts to the surface (see illustration at right).

2. To protect the finish on the thermometer, carefully place the thermometer into each clip. Adjust the thermometer so that it's secure and spaced evenly between the mounts.
