Full-time, Burlington
We seek a custodian for our Burlington offices, 128 Intervale Rd., Burlington. Hours are 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

  • Two or more years of experience in custodial or related work
  • Physical strength and endurance
  • Good customer service skills
  • Excellent initiative
  • High school level reading and math skills
  • Reliable and detail-oriented

Customer Service Associate

Full time, at our Williston garden center
We seek a customer service associate to ensure exceptional service for all customers. This person will impact the customer experience as the first and last point of contact: from greeting the customer to loading the purchase.

The ideal candidate has excellent customer service skills, including:

  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to research solutions for customers' problems or answer questions
  • Good communication skills
  • POS/cash register experience (computerized POS system preferred)
  • Intermediate plant and gardening knowledge.

Seasonal positions

We're looking for avid gardeners, reliable and quick learners who are enthusiastic, outgoing, upbeat, flexible, team-oriented and who will thrive in a busy store! Ability to work weekends is a must.

Full and part-time positions available at our Burlington and Williston Garden Centers. Apply in person or call 660-3518.

Inside Customer Service Associates: Customer service, gardening knowledge and POS experience strongly preferred.

Outside Customer Service Associates: Positions available in all departments wholesale, nursery, perennials and annuals. Excellent service skills and horticultural knowledge required.

Wholesale Sales Coordinator: Customer service, Landscaping knowledge and POS experience strongly preferred.

You must be able to lift up to 40-50 lbs for the following positions:

Campus Gardeners: Gardening experience required

Yard Associates: Experience with heavy equipment and valid driver's license required

Delivery and Installation Associates: Landscaping experience preferred, valid driver's license.

Live Goods and Hard Goods Receivers: Inventory experience, strong attention to detail required

Call Center Sales and Service Specialist

Join the team in our call center as a specialist who will be on the phone with customers, building relationships and representing our company in ways that reflect our core values.Contribute to average order size and strive for customer satisfaction on sales calls and service calls.

Qualifications include:

  • Experience in service and sales experience
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • The ability to research solutions to customer problems and answer questions.

We have three openings. These positions are full-time, benefit-eligible, with two off-season layoffs — mid-winter and midsummer through early fall — totaling 24 weeks.

The shifts for these openings are:

  • 1 to 9:30 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday
  • 8.5 hours before closing Tuesday to Saturday
  • 8.5 hours before closing Sunday to Thursday
