Instructions for the Fuchsia Chimes

Care and Maintenance

The Fuchsia Chimes are made with steel and hand-painted. If left to oxidize naturally, the surface will take on a rusty patina. To help retain the existing finish, apply a clear, exterior-grade polyurethane sealant, available at paint stores.

If you apply a sealant, make sure the chimes are completely dry before exposing them to moisture or sunlight. Polyurethane requires regular maintenance. Apply a new coat of finish before deterioration of the old finish begins, usually about once a year.

Because these are handcrafted, each is unique. Variations in color and shading distinguish these chimes from mass-produced products.
