#8 Aphid: aka "The Sapper"

The Damage: These unpleasant insects, also called “plant lice” suck the juice out of plants, leaving leaves and tissue to wither. They transmit plant diseases too. Nice, real nice.

The Solution: Our favorite solution is a fast-acting Insect Control Spray with potent, natural pyrethrin. It works on eggs, larvae and adults. You can also use long-lasting garden dust. If aphids only trouble a few crops, you can use handy Insect Netting with built-in hoops, and avoid spraying altogether.
