The Damage: Don’t let their cute appearance fool you.
Rascally rabbits have a taste for fine
greens, like spinach, lettuce, beet greens
and chard, as well as peas
and beans. And they
multiply like, well, rabbits,
so if you don’t deal with
them there will be more.
The Solution: Scent repellents are quite effective against rabbits. Some, like Liquid Fence, make your plants unpleasant-tasting to rabbits. Others, like Rabbit Scram, contain dried blood that triggers a rabbit’s fear reflex. You’ll probably have to experiment to find the most effective product for your situation.
