Tried it with a batch of bananas. After 2 days the outside of the bananas looked perfect, but the insides were -- yucky! Had to throw them all out well ahead of their time -- would have lasted longer had I simply hung them on my banana hook as usual.

These bags really keep fruits and vegetables fresh twice as long as other storage.

I have only recently started using these bags and discovered that the vegetables or fruits have to be totally dry before storing them in this bag. The fruit or vegetables seem to stay fresh longer than as if I do not use the bag.
