I love that this hose can both conserve water and (unlike a sprinkler) helps deter any disease by keeping water off the plant leaves. Delivers water directly to root system. I have mine on a timer and it works well. However, when I bought a second one and attached it to the first I was worried about the water pressure getting all the way to the end of the second soaker hose. The start of the hose delivers too much water by the time the end of the hose gets any water. But so far I really like it, very easy to set up.

I've tried many different kinds of soaker hoses and this tops them all. In combination with the regulator attachment I can put water where it's needed and not waste any from uneven distribution. Buy it!

Here in SW Oklahoma we have had record breaking heat this summer. When our trees and bushes started to die I went to purchase soaker hoses. I found it was late in the sumer season (mid July) and there were none to be had. No one could order them anymore! We still had months of hot summer weather to go yet! Then I remembered your gardening catalog and sure enough I was able to order as many as I wanted. The hoses were here within a week. To my surprise there is a life time warranty on the hose. They are different from the recycled material one that do not survive the hot summers here. They store in a nice neat roll and do a great job ofgetting just the right amount of water to the trees. I used this hose in my vegetable and flower gardens this summer. With the terrible heat we have had in Missouri, I was able to water and save money. The only problem being I should have bought more so I wouldn't have to move them from garden to garden. Very durable.

Hose tends to kink or fold when first laid out and unless straightened, this reduces water flow through the entire length. Also, unless the hose is in constant contact with the soil, water tends to run toward low spots thus soaking those areas excessively. For storage,because it folds flat,it is very easy to roll up and it takes up much less space on a hose reel than a conventional round type soaker hose.

I think in normal situations this hose would work very well. I'm running a long hose from a spring water source and it doesn't have enough pressure to get it soaking out very fast. I like its flexible cloth material.

This soaking hose saved my gardens in our recent drought. It was much more efficient than regular hoses and buckets. I was very impressed by the way it worked and immediately ordered a second one. I do use the pressure regulator with this product.
